1. ആരോഹണഗീതം

1. A song of ascents: Those who trust in ADONAI are like Mount Tziyon, which cannot be moved but remains forever.

2. യഹോവയില് ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നവര് കുലുങ്ങാതെ എന്നേക്കും നിലക്കുന്ന സീയോന് പര്വ്വതം പോലെയാകുന്നു.

2. Yerushalayim! Mountains all around it! Thus ADONAI is around his people henceforth and forever.

3. പര്വ്വതങ്ങള് യെരൂശലേമിനെ ചുറ്റിയിരിക്കുന്നു. യഹോവ ഇന്നുമുതല് എന്നേക്കും തന്റെ ജനത്തെ ചുറ്റിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

3. For the scepter of wickedness will not rule the inheritance of the righteous, so that the righteous will not themselves turn their hands to evil.

4. നീതിമാന്മാര് നീതികേടിലേക്കു കൈ നീട്ടാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ ചെങ്കോല് നീതിമാന്മാരുടെ അവകാശത്തിന്മേല് ഇരിക്കയില്ല.

4. Do good, ADONAI, to the good, to those upright in their hearts.

5. യഹോവേ, ഗുണവാന്മാര്ക്കും ഹൃദയപരമാര്ത്ഥികള്ക്കും നന്മ ചെയ്യേണമേ.

5. But as for those who turn aside to their own crooked ways, may ADONAI turn them away, along with those who do evil. [Shalom] on Isra'el!
