1. ഒരു ഗീതം; ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീര്ത്തനം.

1. A Song, A Psalm of David. O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and I will give praise, even with my glory.

2. ദൈവമേ, എന്റെ മനസ്സു ഉറെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് പാടും; എന്റെ മനംകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് കീര്ത്തനം പാടും.

2. Awake, harp and lyre; I will awake early.

3. വീണയും കിന്നരവുമായുള്ളോവേ, ഉണരുവിന് ; ഞാന് അതികാലത്തെ ഉണരും.

3. I will praise You, O Jehovah, among the peoples; and I will sing praises to You among the nations.

4. യഹോവേ, വംശങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് ഞാന് നിനക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യും; ജാതികളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ ഞാന് നിനക്കു കീര്ത്തനം പാടും.

4. For Your mercy is great above the heavens; and Your truth reaches to the clouds.

5. നിന്റെ ദയ ആകാശത്തിന്നു മീതെ വലുതാകുന്നു; നിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തത മേഘങ്ങളോളം എത്തുന്നു.

5. Be lifted up, O God, above the heavens; and Your glory above all the earth;

6. ദൈവമേ, നീ ആകാശത്തിന്നു മീതെ ഉയര്ന്നിരിക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ മഹത്വം സര്വ്വഭൂമിക്കും മീതെ തന്നേ.

6. so that Your beloved may be delivered; save with Your right hand, and answer me.

7. നിനക്കു പ്രിയമുള്ളവര് വിടുവിക്കപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നു നിന്റെ വലങ്കൈകൊണ്ടു രക്ഷിച്ചു ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു ഉത്തരമരുളേണമേ.

7. God has spoken in His holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and I will measure out the valley of Succoth.

8. ദൈവം തന്റെ വിശുദ്ധിയില് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് ആനന്ദിക്കും; ഞാന് ശെഖേമിനെ വിഭാഗിച്ചു സുക്കോത്ത് താഴ്വരയെ അളക്കും.

8. Gilead is Mine; Manasseh is Mine and Ephraim is the strength of My head; Judah is My lawgiver;

9. ഗിലെയാദ് എനിക്കുള്ളതു; മനശ്ശെയും എനിക്കുള്ളതു; എഫ്രയീം എന്റെ തലക്കോരികയും യെഹൂദാ എന്റെ ചെങ്കോലും ആകുന്നു.

9. Moab is My washpot; I will cast out My shoe over Edom; I will triumph over Philistia.

10. മോവാബ് എനിക്കു കഴുകുവാനുള്ള വട്ടക; ഏദോമിന്മേല് ഞാന് എന്റെ ചെരിപ്പു എറിയും; ഫെലിസ്ത ദേശത്തിന്മേല് ഞാന് ജയഘോഷംകൊള്ളും.

10. Who will bring me into the strong city? Who will lead me into Edom?

11. ഉറപ്പുള്ള നഗരത്തിലേക്കു എന്നെ ആര് കൊണ്ടുപോകും? ഏദോമിലേക്കു എന്നെ ആര് വഴിനടത്തും?

11. O God, have You not cast us off? And, O God, will You not go out with our armies?

12. ദൈവമേ, നീ ഞങ്ങളെ തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞില്ലയോ? ദൈവമേ, നീ ഞങ്ങളുടെ സൈന്യങ്ങളോടു കൂടെ പുറപ്പെടുന്നതുമില്ല.

12. Give us help from trouble; for vain is the deliverance of man.

13. വൈരിയുടെ നേരെ ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു സഹായം ചെയ്യേണമേ; മനുഷ്യന്റെ സഹായം വ്യര്ത്ഥമല്ലോ.

13. Through God we shall do mighty things; for He shall trample our enemies.
