1. യഹോവ എന്റെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥനയും യാചനകളും കേട്ടതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് അവനെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു.

1. I love Yahweh because he heareth my voice, my supplications;

2. അവന് തന്റെ ചെവി എങ്കലേക്കു ചായിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് ജീവകാലമൊക്കെയും അവനെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കും

2. Because he hath bowed down his ear unto me, therefore, throughout my days, will I call.

3. മരണപാശങ്ങള് എന്നെ ചുറ്റി, പാതാള വേദനകള് എന്നെ പിടിച്ചു; ഞാന് കഷ്ടവും സങ്കടവും അനുഭവിച്ചു.

3. The meshes of death encompassed me, and the distresses of hades, came upon me, Peril and sorrow, I found;

4. അയ്യോ, യഹോവേ, എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ എന്നു ഞാന് യഹോവയുടെ നാമം വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിച്ചു.

4. But, on the Name of Yahweh, I called I beseech thee, Yahweh, deliver my soul.

5. യഹോവ കൃപയും നീതിയും ഉള്ളവന് ; നമ്മുടെ ദൈവം കരുണയുള്ളവന് തന്നേ.

5. Gracious is Yahweh and righteous, and, our God, is full of compassion.

6. യഹോവ അല്പബുദ്ധികളെ പാലിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് എളിമപ്പെട്ടു, അവന് എന്നെ രക്ഷിച്ചു.

6. Yahweh, preserveth the simple, I was brought low, when, to me, he granted salvation.

7. എന് മനമേ, നീ വീണ്ടും സ്വസ്ഥമായിരിക്ക; യഹോവ നിനക്കു ഉപകാരം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

7. Return, O my soul, to thy rest, For, Yahweh, hath dealt bountifully with thee.

8. നീ എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ മരണത്തില്നിന്നും എന്റെ കണ്ണിനെ കണ്ണുനീരില്നിന്നും എന്റെ കാലിനെ വീഴ്ചയില്നിന്നും രക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

8. For thou hast rescued my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling.

9. ഞാന് ജീവനുള്ളവരുടെ ദേശത്തു യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ നടക്കും.

9. I will walk to and fro before Yahweh, in the lands of life.

10. ഞാന് വലിയ കഷ്ടതയില് ആയി എന്നു പറഞ്ഞപ്പോള് ഞാന് വിശ്വസിച്ചു.

10. I believed that I should speak, I, was greatly depressed.

11. സകലമനുഷ്യരും ഭോഷകു പറയുന്നു എന്നു ഞാന് എന്റെ പരിഭ്രമത്തില് പറഞ്ഞു.

11. I, said in mine alarm, All men, are false!

12. യഹോവ എനിക്കു ചെയ്ത സകലഉപകാരങ്ങള്ക്കും ഞാന് അവന്നു എന്തു പകരം കൊടുക്കും?

12. How shall I give back to Yahweh, All his benefits unto me?

13. ഞാന് രക്ഷയുടെ പാനപാത്രം എടുത്തു യഹോവയുടെ നാമം വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കും.

13. The cup of salvation, will I lift, and, on the Name of Yahweh, will I call:

14. യഹോവേക്കു ഞാന് എന്റെ നേര്ച്ചകളെ അവന്റെ സകലജനവും കാണ്കെ കഴിക്കും.

14. My vows to Yahweh, will I pay, Might it be in presence of all his people!

15. തന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാരുടെ മരണം യഹോവേക്കു വിലയേറിയതാകുന്നു.

15. Costly in the eyes of Yahweh, is, death, for his men of lovingkindness.

16. യഹോവേ, ഞാന് നിന്റെ ദാസന് ആകുന്നു; നിന്റെ ദാസനും നിന്റെ ദാസിയുടെ മകനും തന്നേ; നീ എന്റെ ബന്ധനങ്ങളെ അഴിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

16. I beseech thee, O Yahweh for, I, am thy servant, I, am thy servant, the son of thy handmaid, Thou hast loosened my bonds.

17. ഞാന് നിനക്കു സ്തോത്രയാഗം കഴിച്ചു യഹോവയുടെ നാമം വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കും.

17. To thee, will I sacrifice a sacrifice of thanksgiving, and, on the Name of Yahweh, will I call:

18. യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിന്റെ പ്രാകാരങ്ങളിലും യെരൂശലേമേ, നിന്റെ നടുവിലും

18. My vows to Yahweh, will I pay, Might it be in the presence of all his people;

19. ഞാന് യഹോവേക്കു എന്റെ നേര്ച്ചകളെ അവന്റെ സകലജനവും കാണ്കെ കഴിക്കും. യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിപ്പിന് .

19. In the courts of the house of Yahweh, In the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye Yah!
