1. യഹോവ മോശെയോടും അഹരോനോടും മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുവെച്ചു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു എന്തെന്നാല്
മത്തായി 26:2

1. And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt saying:

2. ഈ മാസം നിങ്ങള്ക്കു മാസങ്ങളുടെ ആരംഭമായി ആണ്ടില് ഒന്നാം മാസം ആയിരിക്കേണം.

2. This month shall be your chief month: even the first month of the year shall it be unto you.

3. നിങ്ങള് യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ സര്വ്വസംഘത്തോടും പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്ഈ മാസം പത്താം തിയ്യതി അതതു കുടുംബത്തിന്നു ഒരു ആട്ടിന് കുട്ടി വീതം ഔരോരുത്തന് ഔരോ ആട്ടിന് കുട്ടിയെ എടുക്കേണം.
1 കൊരിന്ത്യർ 5:8

3. Speak ye unto all the fellowship of Israel saying: that they take the tenth day of this month to every household, a sheep.

4. ആട്ടിന് കുട്ടിയെ തിന്നുവാന് വീട്ടിലുള്ളവര് പോരായെങ്കില് ആളുകളുടെ എണ്ണത്തിന്നു ഒത്തവണ്ണം അവനും അവന്റെ വീട്ടിന്നടുത്ത അയല്ക്കാരനും കൂടി അതിനെ എടുക്കേണം ഔരോരുത്തന് തിന്നുന്നതിന്നു ഒത്തവണ്ണം കണകൂനോക്കി നിങ്ങള് ആട്ടിന് കുട്ടിയെ എടുക്കേണം.

4. If the household be too few for a sheep, then let him and his neighbour that is next unto this house, take according to the number of souls, and count unto a sheep according to every man's eating.

5. ആട്ടിന് കുട്ടി ഊനമില്ലാത്തതും ഒരു വയസ്സു പ്രായമുള്ള ആണുമായിരിക്കേണം; അതു ചെമ്മരിയാടോ കോലാടോ ആകാം.

5. A sheep without spot and a male of one year old shall it be, and from among the lambs and the goats shall ye take it.

6. ഈ മാസം പതിന്നാലാം തിയ്യതിവരെ അതിനെ സൂക്ഷിക്കേണം. യിസ്രായേല്സഭയുടെ കൂട്ടമെല്ലാം സന്ധ്യാസമയത്തു അതിനെ അറുക്കേണം.

6. And ye shall keep him in ward, until the fourteenth day of the same month. And every man of the multitude of Israel shall kill him about even.

7. അതിന്റെ രക്തം കുറെ എടുത്തു തങ്ങള് തിന്നുന്ന വീടുകളുടെ വാതിലിന്റെ കട്ടളക്കാല് രണ്ടിന്മേലും കുറുമ്പടിമേലും പുരട്ടേണം.

7. And they shall take of the blood and strike on the two side posts and on the upper doorpost of the houses, wherein they eat him.

8. അന്നു രാത്രി അവര് തീയില് ചുട്ടതായ ആ മാംസവും പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പവും തിന്നേണം; കൈപ്പുചീരയോടുകൂടെ അതു തിന്നേണം.

8. And they shall eat the flesh the same night, roast with fire, and with unleavened bread, and with sour herbs they shall eat it.

9. തലയും കാലും അന്തര്ഭാഗങ്ങളുമായി തീയില് ചുട്ടിട്ടല്ലാതെ പച്ചയായിട്ടോ വെള്ളത്തില് പുഴുങ്ങിയതായിട്ടോ തിന്നരുതു.

9. See that ye eat not thereof sodden in water, but roast with fire: both head, feet, and purtenance together.

10. പിറ്റെന്നാള് കാലത്തേക്കു അതില് ഒട്ടും ശേഷിപ്പിക്കരുതു; പിറ്റെന്നാള് കാലത്തേക്കു ശേഷിക്കുന്നതു നിങ്ങള് തീയിലിട്ടു ചുട്ടുകളയേണം.

10. And see that ye let nothing of it remain unto the morning: if ought remain burn it with fire.

11. അര കെട്ടിയും കാലിന്നു ചെരിപ്പിട്ടും കയ്യില് വടി പിടിച്ചുംകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങള് തിന്നേണം; തിടുക്കത്തോടെ നിങ്ങള് തിന്നേണം; അതു യഹോവയുടെ പെസഹ ആകുന്നു.

11. Of this manner shall ye eat it: with your loins girded, and shoes on your feet, and your staves in your hands. And ye shall eat it in haste, for it is the LORD's passover,

12. ഈ രാത്രിയില് ഞാന് മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുകൂടി കടന്നു മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുള്ള മനുഷ്യന്റെയും മൃഗത്തിന്റെയും കടിഞ്ഞൂലിനെ ഒക്കെയും സംഹരിക്കും; മിസ്രയീമിലെ സകല ദേവന്മാരിലും ഞാന് ന്യായവിധി നടത്തും; ഞാന് യഹോവ ആകുന്നു

12. for I will go about in the land of Egypt this same night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both of man and beast, and upon all the gods of Egypt will I the LORD do execution.

13. നിങ്ങള് പാര്ക്കുംന്ന വീടുകളിന്മേല് രക്തം അടയാളമായിരിക്കും; ഞാന് രക്തം കാണുമ്പോള് നിങ്ങളെ ഒഴിഞ്ഞു കടന്നു പോകും; ഞാന് മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തെ ബാധിക്കുന്ന ബാധ നിങ്ങള്ക്കു നാശഹേതുവായ്തീരുകയില്ല.

13. And the blood shall be unto you a token upon the houses wherein ye are, for when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

14. ഈ ദിവസം നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ഔര്മ്മനാളായിരിക്കേണം; നിങ്ങള് അതു യഹോവേക്കു ഉത്സവമായി ആചരിക്കേണം. തലമുറതലമുറയായും നിത്യനിയമമായും നിങ്ങള് അതു ആചരിക്കേണം.

14. And this day shall be unto you a remembrance, and ye shall keep it holy unto the LORD: even thorowout your generations after you shall ye keep it holy day, that it be a custom for ever.

15. Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread, so that even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses. For whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be plucked out from Israel.

16. ഒന്നാം ദിവസത്തിലും ഏഴാം ദിവസത്തിലും നിങ്ങള്ക്കു വിശുദ്ധസഭായോഗം ഉണ്ടാകേണം; അന്നു അവരവര്ക്കും വേണ്ടുന്ന ഭക്ഷണം ഒരുക്കുകയല്ലാതെ ഒരു വേലയും ചെയ്യരുതു.

16. The first day shall be a holy feast unto you, and the seventh also. There shall be no manner of work done in them, save about that only which every man must eat: that only may ye do.

17. പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പത്തിന്റെ പെരുനാള് നിങ്ങള് ആചരിക്കേണം; ഈ ദിവസത്തില് തന്നേയാകുന്നു ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ഗണങ്ങളെ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതു; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഈ ദിവസം തലമുറതലമുറയായും നിത്യനിയമമായും നിങ്ങള് ആചരിക്കേണം.

17. And see that ye keep you to unleavened bread. For upon that same day I will bring your armies out of the land of Egypt, therefore ye shall observe this day and all your children after you, that it be a custom for ever.

18. ഒന്നാം മാസം പതിന്നാലാം തിയ്യതി വൈകുന്നേരംമുതല് ആ മാസം ഇരുപത്തൊന്നാം തിയ്യതി വൈകുന്നേരംവരെ നിങ്ങള് പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പം തിന്നേണം.

18. The first month and the fourteenth day of the month at even, ye shall eat sweet bread unto the twenty first day of the month at even again.

19. ഏഴു ദിവസം നിങ്ങളുടെ വീടുകളില് പുളിച്ചമാവു കാണരുതു; ആരെങ്കിലും പുളിച്ചതു തിന്നാല് പരദേശിയായാലും സ്വദേശിയായാലും അവനെ യിസ്രായേല്സഭയില് നിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണം.

19. Seven days see that there be no leavened bread found in your houses. For whosoever eateth leavened bread, that soul shall be rooted out from the multitude of Israel: whether he be a stranger or born in the land.

20. പുളിച്ചതു യാതൊന്നും നിങ്ങള് തിന്നരുതു; നിങ്ങളുടെ വാസസ്ഥലങ്ങളിലെല്ലാം പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പം തിന്നേണം.

20. Therefore see that ye eat no leavened bread, but in all your habitations eat sweet bread.

21. അനന്തരം മോശെ യിസ്രായേല്മൂപ്പനാരെ ഒക്കെയും വിളിച്ചു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതുനിങ്ങള് നിങ്ങളുടെ കുടുംബങ്ങള്ക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണം ഔരോ ആട്ടിന് കുട്ടിയെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു പെസഹയെ അറുപ്പിന് .

21. And Moses called for the elders of Israel and said unto them: choose out and take to every household a sheep, and kill passover.

22. ഈസോപ്പുചെടിയുടെ ഒരു കെട്ടു എടുത്തു കിണ്ണത്തിലുള്ള രക്തത്തില് മുക്കി കിണ്ണത്തിലുള്ള രക്തം കുറമ്പടിമേലും കട്ടളക്കാല് രണ്ടിന്മേലും തേക്കേണം; പിറ്റെന്നാള് വെളുക്കുംവരെ നിങ്ങളില് ആരും വീട്ടിന്റെ വാതിലിന്നു പുറത്തിറങ്ങരുതു.

22. And take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike it upon the upper post and on the two side posts, and see that none of you go out at the door of his house until the morning.

23. യഹോവ മിസ്രയീമ്യരെ ദണ്ഡിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു കടന്നുവരും; എന്നാല് കുറുമ്പടിമേലും കട്ടളക്കാല് രണ്ടിന്മേലും രക്തം കാണുമ്പോള് യഹോവ വാതില് ഒഴിഞ്ഞു കടന്നു പോകും; നിങ്ങളുടെ വീടുകളില് നിങ്ങളെ ദണ്ഡിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു സംഹാരകന് വരുവാന് സമ്മതിക്കയുമില്ല.

23. For the LORD will go about and smite Egypt. And when he seeth the blood upon the upper door post and on the two side posts, he will pass over the door and will not suffer the destroyer to come into your house to plague you.

24. ഈ കാര്യം നീയും പുത്രന്മാരും ഒരു നിത്യനിയമമായി ആചരിക്കേണം.

24. Therefore see that thou observe this thing, that it be an ordinance to thee, and thy sons for ever.

25. യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതുപോലെ നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തരുവാനിരിക്കുന്ന ദേശത്തു നിങ്ങള് എത്തിയശേഷം നിങ്ങള് ഈ കര്മ്മം ആചരിക്കേണം.

25. And when ye be come into the land which the LORD will give you according as he hath promised, see that ye keep this service.

26. ഈ കര്മ്മം എന്തെന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കള് നിങ്ങളോടു ചോദിക്കുമ്പോള്

26. And when your children ask you what manner of service is this ye do.

27. മിസ്രയീമ്യരെ ദണ്ഡിപ്പിക്കയില് മിസ്രയീമിലിരുന്ന യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ വീടുകളെ ഒഴിഞ്ഞു കടന്നു നമ്മുടെ വീടുകളെ രക്ഷിച്ച യഹോവയുടെ പെസഹയാഗം ആകുന്നു ഇതു എന്നു നിങ്ങള് പറയേണം. അപ്പോള് ജനം കുമ്പിട്ടു നമസ്കരിച്ചു.

27. Ye shall say: it is the sacrifice of the LORD's passover, which passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, as he smote the Egyptians and saved our houses. Then the people bowed them selves and worshipped.

28. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് പോയി അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്തു. യഹോവ മോശെയോടും അഹരോനോടും കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ തന്നേ അവര് ചെയ്തു.

28. And the children of Israel went and did as the LORD had commanded Moses and Aaron.

29. അര്ദ്ധരാത്രിയിലോ, സിംഹാസനത്തിലിരുന്ന ഫറവോന്റെ ആദ്യജാതന് മുതല് കുണ്ടറയില് കിടന്ന തടവുകാരന്റെ ആദ്യജാതന് വരെയും മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തിലെ ആദ്യജാതന്മാരെയും മൃഗങ്ങളുടെ കടിഞ്ഞൂലുകളെയും എല്ലാം യഹോവ സംഹരിച്ചു.

29. And at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt: from the firstborn of Pharao that sat on his seat, unto the firstborn of the captive that was in prison, and all firstborn of the cattle.

30. ഫറവോനും അവന്റെ സകലഭൃത്യന്മാരും സകല മിസ്രയീമ്യരും രാത്രിയില് എഴുന്നേറ്റു; മിസ്രയീമില് വലിയോരു നിലവിളി ഉണ്ടായി; ഒന്നു മരിക്കാതെ ഒരു വീടും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല.

30. Then Pharao arose the same night and all his servants and all the Egyptians, and there was a great crying thorowout Egypt, for there was no house where there was not one dead.

31. അപ്പോള് അവന് മോശെയെയും അഹരോനെയും രാത്രിയില് വിളിപ്പിച്ചുനിങ്ങള് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുമായി എഴുന്നേറ്റു എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ നടുവില്നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു, നിങ്ങള് പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ പോയി യഹോവയെ ആരാധിപ്പിന് .

31. And he called unto Moses and Aaron by night saying: Rise up, and get you out from among my people: both ye and also the children of Israel, and go and serve the LORD as ye have said.

32. നിങ്ങള് പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ആടുകളെയും കന്നുകാലികളെയും കൂടെ കൊണ്ടുപോയ്ക്കൊള്വിന് ; എന്നെയും അനുഗ്രഹിപ്പിന് എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

32. And take your sheep and your oxen with you as ye have said, and depart and bless me also.

33. മിസ്രയീമ്യര് ജനത്തെ നിര്ബന്ധിച്ചു വേഗത്തില് ദേശത്തുനിന്നു അയച്ചുഞങ്ങള് എല്ലാവരും മരിച്ചു പോകുന്നു എന്നു അവര് പറഞ്ഞു.

33. And the Egyptians were fierce upon the people and made haste to send them out of the land: for they said: we be all dead men.

34. അതുകൊണ്ടു ജനം കുഴെച്ച മാവു പുളിക്കുന്നതിന്നു മുമ്പെ തൊട്ടികളോടുകൂടെ ശീലകളില് കെട്ടി ചുമലില് എടുത്തു കൊണ്ടുപോയി.

34. And the people took the dough before it was soured which they had in store, and bound it in cloths, and put it upon their shoulders.

35. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് മോശെയുടെ വചനം അനുസരിച്ചു മിസ്രയീമ്യരോടു വെള്ളിയാഭരണങ്ങളും പൊന്നാഭരണങ്ങളും വസ്ത്രങ്ങളും ചോദിച്ചു.

35. And the children of Israel did according to the saying of Moses: and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment.

36. യഹോവ മിസ്രയീമ്യര്ക്കും ജനത്തോടു കൃപ തോന്നിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു അവര് ചോദിച്ചതൊക്കെയും അവര് അവര്ക്കും കൊടുത്തു; അങ്ങനെ അവര് മിസ്രയീമ്യരെ കൊള്ളയിട്ടു.

36. And the LORD gat the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians: and so they borrowed and robbed the Egyptians.

37. എന്നാല് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള്, കുട്ടികള് ഒഴികെ ഏകദേശം ആറുലക്ഷം പുരുഷന്മാര് കാല്നടയായി റമസേസില്നിന്നു സുക്കോത്തിലേക്കു യാത്ര പുറപ്പെട്ടു.

37. Thus took the children of Israel their journey from Rameses to Sucoth six hundred thousand men of foot, beside children.

38. വലിയോരു സമ്മിശ്രപുരുഷാരവും ആടുകളും കന്നുകാലികളുമായി അനവധി മൃഗങ്ങളും അവരോടു കൂടെ പോന്നു.

38. And much common people went also with them, and sheep, and oxen, and cattle exceeding much.

39. മിസ്രയീമില്നിന്നു കൊണ്ടു പോന്ന കുഴെച്ച മാവുകൊണ്ടു അവര് പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത ദോശ ചുട്ടു; അവരെ മിസ്രയീമില് ഒട്ടും താമസിപ്പിക്കാതെ ഔടിച്ചുകളകയാല് അതു പുളിച്ചിരുന്നില്ല; അവര് വഴിക്കു ആഹാരം ഒന്നും ഒരുക്കിയിരുന്നതുമില്ല.

39. And they baked sweet cakes of the dough which they brought out of Egypt, for it was not soured: because they were thrust out of Egypt and could not tarry, neither had they prepared them any other provision of meat.

40. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് മിസ്രയീമില് കഴിച്ച പരദേശവാസം നാനൂറ്റി മുപ്പതു സംവത്സരമായിരുന്നു.

40. And the time of the dwelling of the children of Israel which they dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty year.

41. നാനൂറ്റി മുപ്പതു സംവത്സരം കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു, ആ ദിവസം തന്നെ, യഹോവയുടെ ഗണങ്ങള് ഒക്കെയും മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു.

41. And when the four hundred and thirty years were expired, even the self same day departed all the hosts of the LORD out of the land of Egypt.

42. യഹോവ അവരെ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചതിനാല് ഇതു അവന്നു പ്രത്യേകമായി ആചരിക്കേണ്ടുന്ന രാത്രി ആകുന്നു; ഇതു തന്നേ യിസ്രായേല് മക്കള് ഒക്കെയും തലമുറതലമുറയായി യഹോവേക്കു പ്രത്യേകം ആചരിക്കേണ്ടുന്ന രാത്രി.

42. This is a night to be observed to the LORD, because he brought them out of the land of Egypt. This is a night of the LORD, to be kept of all the children of Israel and of their generations after them.

43. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടും അഹരോനോടും കല്പിച്ചതുപെസഹയുടെ ചട്ടം ഇതു ആകുന്നുഅന്യജാതിക്കാരനായ ഒരുത്തനും അതു തിന്നരുതു.

43. And the LORD said unto Moses and Aaron: this is the manner of passover: there shall no stranger eat thereof,

44. എന്നാല് ദ്രവ്യം കൊടുത്തു വാങ്ങിയ ദാസന്നു ഒക്കെയും പരിച്ഛേദന ഏറ്റശേഷം അതു തിന്നാം.

44. but all the servants that are bought for money shall ye circumcise, and then let them eat thereof.

45. പരദേശിയും കൂലിക്കാരനും അതു തിന്നരുതു.

45. A stranger and a hired servant shall not eat thereof.

46. അതതു വീട്ടില്വെച്ചു തന്നേ അതു തിന്നേണം; ആ മാംസം ഒട്ടും വീട്ടിന്നു പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുപോകരുതു; അതില് ഒരു അസ്ഥിയും ഒടിക്കരുതു.
യോഹന്നാൻ 19:36

46. In one house shall it be eaten. Ye shall carry none of the flesh out at the doors: moreover, see that ye break not a bone thereof.

47. യിസ്രായേല്സഭ ഒക്കെയും അതു ആചരിക്കേണം.

47. All the multitude of the children of Israel shall observe it.

48. ഒരു അന്യജാതിക്കാരന് നിന്നോടുകൂടെ പാര്ത്തു യഹോവേക്കു പെസഹ ആചരിക്കേണമെങ്കില്, അവന്നുള്ള ആണൊക്കെയും പരിച്ഛേദന ഏല്ക്കേണം. അതിന്റെ ശേഷം അതു ആചരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന്നു അടുത്തുവരാം; അവന് സ്വദേശിയെപ്പോലെ ആകും. പരിച്ഛേദനയില്ലാത്ത ഒരുത്തനും അതു തിന്നരുതു.

48. If a stranger dwell among you, and will hold Passover unto the LORD, let him circumcise all that be males, and then let him come and observe it, and be taken as one that is born in the land. No uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.

49. സ്വദേശിക്കും നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് പാര്ക്കുംന്ന പരദേശിക്കും ഒരു ന്യായ പ്രമാണം തന്നേ ആയിരിക്കേണം; യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് ഒക്കെയും അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്തു.

49. One manner of law shall be unto them that are born in the land, and unto the strangers that dwell among you.

50. യഹോവ മോശെയോടും അഹരോനോടും കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ തന്നേ അവര് ചെയ്തു.

50. And all the children of Israel did as the LORD commanded Moses and Aaron.

51. അന്നു തന്നേ യഹോവ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളെ ഗണം ഗണമായി മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു.

51. And even the self same day did the LORD bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt with their armies.
