1. നീതിയെ പിന് തുടരുന്നവരും യഹോവയെ അന് വേഷിക്കുന്നവരും ആയുള്ളോരേ, എന് റെ വാക്കു കേള്പ്പിന് ; നിങ്ങളെ വെട്ടിയെടുത്ത പാറയിലേക്കും നിങ്ങളെ കുഴിച്ചെടുത്ത ഖനിഗര്ഭത്തിലേക്കും തിരിഞ്ഞുനോക്കുവിന് .

1. Hearken to Me, you that follow after righteousness, and seek the Lord; look to the solid rock, which you have hewn, and to the hole of the pit which you have dug.

2. നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവായ അബ്രാഹാമിങ്കലേക്കും നിങ്ങളെ പ്രസവിച്ച സാറായിങ്കലേക്കും തിരിഞ്ഞുനോക്കുവിന് ; ഞാന് അവനെ ഏകനായിട്ടു വിളിച്ചു അവനെ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചു വര്ദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

2. Look to Abraham your father, and to Sarah who bore you; for he was alone when I called him, and blessed him, and loved him, and multiplied him.

3. യഹോവ സീയോനെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; അവന് അതിന്റെ സകലശൂന് യസ്ഥലങ്ങളെയും ആശ്വസിപ്പിച്ചു, അതിന്റെ മരുഭൂമിയെ ഏദെനെപ്പോലെയും അതിന്റെ നിര്ജ്ജനപ്രദേശത്തെ യഹോവയുടെ തോട്ടത്തെപ്പോലെയും ആക്കുന്നു; ആനന് ദവും സന്തോഷവും സ്തോത്രവും സംഗീതഘോഷവും അതില് ഉണ്ടാകും.

3. And now I will comfort you, O Zion; and I have comforted all her desert places; and I will make her desert places as a garden, and her western places as the garden of the Lord; they shall find in her gladness and exaltation, thanksgiving and the voice of praise.

4. എന്റെ ജനമേ, എന്റെ വാക്കു കേള്പ്പിന് ; എന്റെ ജാതിയേ, എനിക്കു ചെവിതരുവിന് ; ഉപദേശം എങ്കല് നിന്നു പുറപ്പെടും; ഞാന് എന്റെ ന് യായത്തെ വംശങ്ങള്ക്കു പ്രകാശമായി സ്ഥാപിക്കും

4. Hear Me, hear Me, My people; and you kings, hearken to Me; for a law shall proceed from Me, and My judgment [shall be] for a light of the nations.

5. എന്റെ നീതി സമീപമായിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ രക്ഷ പുറപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ ഭുജങ്ങള് വംശങ്ങള്ക്കു ന് യായം വിധിക്കും; ദ്വീപുകള് എനിക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ ഭുജത്തില് അവര് ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നു

5. My righteousness speedily draws near, and My salvation shall go forth as light, and on My arm shall the Gentiles trust; the isles shall wait for Me, and on My arm shall they trust.

6. നിങ്ങളുടെ കണ്ണു ആകാശത്തിലേക്കു ഉയര്ത്തുവിന് ; താഴെ ഭൂമിയെ നോക്കുവിന് ; ആകാശം പുകപോലെ പോയ്പോകും; ഭൂമി വസ്ത്രംപോലെ പഴകും; അതിനെ നിവാസികള് കൊതുകുപോലെ ചത്തുപോകും; എന്നാല് എന്റെ രക്ഷ എന്നേക്കും ഇരിക്കും; എന്റെ നീതിക്കു നീക്കം വരികയുമില്ല

6. Lift up your eyes to the sky, and look on the earth beneath; for the sky was darkened like smoke, and the earth shall grow old like a garment, and the inhabitants shall die in like manner; but My righteousness shall not fail.

7. നീതിയെ അറിയുന്നവരും ഹൃദയത്തില് എന്റെ ന് യായപ്രമാണം ഉള്ള ജനവും ആയുള്ളോരേ, എന്റെ വാക്കു കേള്പ്പിന് ; നിങ്ങള് മനുഷ്യരുടെ നിന് ദയെ ഭയപ്പെടരുതു; അവരുടെ ദൂഷണങ്ങളെ പേടിക്കയും അരുതു

7. Hear Me, you that know judgment, the people in whose heart is My law; fear not the reproach of men, and be not overcome by their contempt.

8. പുഴു അവരെ വസ്ത്രത്തെപ്പോലെ അരിച്ചുകളയും; കൃമി അവരെ കന് പിളിയെപ്പോലെ തിന്നുകളയും; എന്നാല് എന്റെ നീതി ശാശ്വതമായും എന്റെ രക്ഷ തലമുറതലമുറയായും ഇരിക്കും

8. For as a garment will be devoured by time, and as wool will be devoured by a moth, [so shall they be consumed]; but My righteousness shall be forever, and My salvation for all generations.

9. യഹോവയുടെ ഭുജമേ ഉണരുക, ഉണരുക; ശക്തി ധരിച്ചുകൊള്ക; പൂര്വ്വകാലത്തും പണ്ടത്തെ തലമുറകളിലും എന്നപോലെ ഉണരുക; രഹബിനെ വെട്ടി മഹാസര്പ്പത്തെ കുത്തിക്കളഞ്ഞതു നീ അല്ലയോ?

9. Awake, awake, O Jerusalem, and put on the strength of your arm; awake as in the early time, as the ancient generation.

10. സമുദ്രത്തെ, വലിയ ആഴിയിലെ വെള്ളങ്ങളെ തന്നേ, വറ്റിച്ചുകളകയും വീണ്ടേടുക്കപ്പെട്ടവര് കടന്നുപോകേണ്ടതിന്നു സമുദ്രത്തിന്റെ ആഴത്തെ വഴിയാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തതു നീയല്ലയോ?

10. Are you not [the One] that dried the sea, the water, [even] the abundance of the deep; that made the depths of the sea a way of passage for the delivered and redeemed?

11. യഹോവയുടെ വിമുക്തന്മാര് ഉല്ലാസഘോഷത്തോടെ സീയോനിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിവരും; നിത്യാനന് ദം അവരുടെ തലയില് ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കും; അവര് ആനന് ദവും സന്തോഷവും പ്രാപിക്കും; ദുഃഖവും ഞരക്കവും ഔടിപ്പോകും

11. For by [the help of] the Lord they shall return, and come to Zion with joy and everlasting exaltation, for praise and joy shall come upon their head; pain, grief, and groaning have fled away.

12. ഞാന് , ഞാന് തന്നേ, നിങ്ങളെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കുന്നവന് ; എന്നാല് മരിച്ചുപോകുന്ന മര്ത്യനെയും പുല്ലുപോലെ ആയിത്തീരുന്ന മനുഷ്യനെയും ഭയപ്പെടുവാന് നീ ആര്?

12. I, [even] I, am He that comforts you; consider who you are, that you were afraid of mortal man, and of the son of man, who have withered as grass.

13. ആകാശത്തെ വിരിച്ചു ഭൂമിയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനങ്ങളെ ഇട്ടവനായി നിന്റെ സ്രഷ്ടാവായ യഹോവയെ നീ മറക്കയും പീഡകന് നശിപ്പിപ്പാന് ഒരുങ്ങിവരുന്നു എന്നുവെച്ചു അവന്റെ ക്രോധംനിമിത്തം ദിനംപ്രതി ഇടവിടാതെ പേടിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നതെന് തു?

13. And you have forgotten God who made you, who made the sky and founded the earth; and you were continually afraid because of the wrath of him that afflicted you; for [whereas] he counseled to take you away, yet now where is the wrath of him that afflicted you?

14. പീഡകന്റെ ക്രോധം എവിടെ? ബദ്ധനായിരിക്കുന്നവനെ വേഗത്തില് അഴിച്ചുവിടും; അവന് കുണ്ടറയില് മരിക്കയില്ല; അവന്റെ ആഹാരത്തിന്നു മുട്ടുവരികയുമില്ല

14. For in your deliverance he shall not halt, nor tarry;

15. തിരകള് അലറുവാന് തക്കവണ്ണം സമുദ്രത്തെ കോപിപ്പിക്കുന്നവനായി നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഞാന് ആകുന്നു; സൈന് യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ എന്നാകുന്നു എന്റെ നാമം

15. for I am your God, that troubles the sea, and causes its waves to roar; the Lord of hosts is My name.

16. ഞാന് ആകാശത്തെ ഉറപ്പിച്ചു ഭൂമിക്കു അടിസ്ഥാനം ഇടുകയും സീയോനോടുനീ എന്റെ ജനം എന്നു പറകയും ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാന് എന്റെ വചനങ്ങളെ നിന്റെ വായില് ആക്കി എന്റെ കയ്യുടെ നിഴലില് നിന്നെ മറെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു

16. I will put My words into your mouth, and I will shelter you under the shadow of My hand, with which I fixed the sky, and founded the earth; and [the Lord] shall say to Zion, You are My people.

17. യഹോവയുടെ കയ്യില് നിന്നു അവന്റെ ക്രോധത്തിന്റെ പാനപാത്രം കുടിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള യെരൂശലേമേ, ഉണരുക, ഉണരുക, എഴുന്നേറ്റുനില്ക്ക; നീ പരിഭ്രമത്തിന് റേ പാനപാത്രപുടം കുടിച്ചു വറ്റിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു

17. Awake, awake, stand up, O Jerusalem, that have drunk at the hand of the Lord the cup of His fury; for you have drunk out and drained the cup of calamity, the cup of wrath;

18. അവള് പ്രസവിച്ച സകലപുത്രന്മാരിലുംവെച്ചു അവളെ വഴിനടത്തുന്നതിന്നു ഒരുത്തനും ഇല്ല; അവള് വളര്ത്തിയ എല്ലാമക്കളിലുംവെച്ചു അവളെ കൈകൂ പിടിച്ചു കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്നതിന്നു ആരുമില്ല

18. and there was none to comfort you of all the children whom you bore; and there was none to take hold of your hand, not even of all the children whom you have reared.

19. ഇതു രണ്ടും നിനക്കു നേരിട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്നോടു ആര് സഹതാപം കാണിക്കും? ശൂന് യവും നാശവും ക്ഷാമവും വാളും നേരിട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് നിന്നെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതെങ്ങനെ?

19. Wherefore these things are against you; who shall sympathize with you in your grief? Downfall and destruction, famine and sword; who shall comfort you?

20. നിന്റെ മക്കള് ബോധംകെട്ടു വലയില് അകപ്പെട്ട മാന് എന്നപോലെ വീഥികളുടെ തലെക്കലെല്ലാം കിടക്കുന്നു; അവര് യഹോവയുടെ ക്രോധവും നിന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ഭര്ത്സനവും കൊണ്ടു നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു

20. Your sons are the perplexed ones, that sleep at the top of every street as a half-boiled beet; they that are full of the anger of the Lord, caused to faint by the Lord God.

21. ആകയാല് അരിഷ്ടയും വീഞ്ഞു കുടിക്കാതെ ലഹരിപിടിച്ചവളും ആയുള്ളോവേ, ഇതു കേട്ടുകൊള്ക

21. Therefore hear, you afflicted one, and drunken, [but] not with wine;

22. നിന്റെ കര്ത്താവായ യഹോവയും തന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ വ്യവഹാരം നടത്തുന്ന നിന്റെ ദൈവവുമായവന് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന് പരിഭ്രമത്തിന്റെ പാനപാത്രം, എന്റെ ക്രോധത്തിന്റെ പാനപാത്രപുടം തന്നെ, നിന്റെ കയ്യില് നിന്നു എടുത്തുകളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇനി നീ അതു കുടിക്കയില്ല;

22. thus says the Lord God that judges His people: Behold, I have taken out of your hand the cup of calamity, the cup of My wrath; and you shall not drink it anymore.

23. നിന്നെ ക്ലേശിപ്പിക്കുന്നവരുടെ കയ്യില് ഞാന് അതു കൊടുക്കും അവര് നിന്നോടുകുനിയുക; ഞങ്ങള് കടന്നുപോകട്ടെ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ; അങ്ങനെ കടന്നുപോകുന്നവര്കൂ നീ നിന്റെ മുതുകിനെ നിലംപോലെയും തെരുവീഥിപോലെയും ആക്കിവെക്കേണ്ടിവന്നു

23. And I will give it into the hands of them that injured you, and them that afflicted you; who said to your soul, Bow down, that we may pass over; and you laid your body to the ground to them passing by outside.
