1. Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.

2. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the peoples: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

3. And the Gentiles shall walk to thy light, and the kings to the brightness of thy birth.

4. നീ തല പൊക്കി ചുറ്റും നോക്കുക; അവര് എല്ലാവരും ഒന്നിച്ചുകൂടി നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് വരുന്നു; നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര് ദൂരത്തുനിന്നു വരും; നിന്റെ പുത്രിമാരെ പാര്ശ്വത്തിങ്കല് വഹിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുവരും

4. Lift up thine eyes round about and see: they all gather themselves together; they come to thee; thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at [thy] side.

5. അപ്പോള് നീ കണ്ടു ശോഭിക്കും; നിന്റെ ഹൃദയം പിടെച്ചു വികസിക്കും; സമുദ്രത്തിന്റെ ധനം നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് ചേരും; ജാതികളുടെ സന് പത്തു നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് വരും

5. Then thou shalt see, and thou shall shine, and thine heart shall marvel, and be enlarged because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the strength of the Gentiles shall have come unto thee.

6. The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all those from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall show forth the praises of the LORD.

7. All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, rams of Nebaioth shall be served unto thee: they shall be offered up with grace upon my altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory.

8. Who [are] these [that] fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows?

9. ദൂരത്തുനിന്നു നിന്റെ മക്കളെ അവരുടെ പൊന്നും വെള്ളിയുമായി നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിന്നും അവന് നിന്നെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധന്നും കൊണ്ടുവരേണ്ടതിന്നു ദ്വീപുവാസികളും തര്ശീശ് കപ്പലുകള് ആദ്യമായും എനിക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു

9. For the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish from the first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the LORD thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, who has glorified thee.

10. അന് യജാതിക്കാര് നിന്റെ മതിലുകളെ പണിയും; അവരുടെ രാജാക്കന്മാര് നിനക്കു ശുശ്രൂഷചെയ്യും; എന്റെ ക്രോധത്തില് ഞാന് നിന്നെ അടിച്ചു; എങ്കിലും എന്റെ പ്രീതിയില് എനിക്കു നിന്നോടു കരുണ തോന്നും

10. And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall serve thee; for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my good favour I shall have mercy on thee.

11. Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that the strength of the Gentiles may be brought unto thee, and their kings guided.

12. നിന്നെ സേവിക്കാത്ത ജാതിയും രാജ്യവും നശിച്ചുപോകും; ആ ജാതികള് അശേഷം ശൂന് യമായ്പോകും;

12. For the people or the kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish and shall be utterly wasted.

13. എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന് ദിരമുള്ളസ്ഥലത്തിന്നു ഭംഗിവരുത്തുവാനായി ലെബാനോന്റെ മഹത്വവും സരളവൃക്ഷവും പയിനും പുന്നയും ഒരുപോലെ നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് വരും; അങ്ങനെ ഞാന് എന്റെ പാദസ്ഥാനത്തെ മഹത്വീകരിക്കും

13. The glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will honour the place of my feet.

14. The sons also of those that afflicted thee shall come humbled unto thee; and at the steps of thy feet all those that despised thee shall bow themselves down; and they shall call thee, The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

15. ആരും കടന്നുപോകാതവണ്ണം നീ നിര്ജ്ജനവും ദ്വേഷവിഷയവും ആയിരുന്നതിന്നു പകരം ഞാന് നിന്നെ നിത്യമാഹാത്മ്യവും തലമുറതലമുറയായുള്ള ആനന് ദവും ആക്കിത്തീര്ക്കും

15. Whereas thou hast been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through [thee], I will place thee in eternal glory, in joy from generation to generation.

16. നീ ജാതികളുടെ പാല് കുടിക്കും; രാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ മുല കുടിക്കും; യഹോവയായ ഞാന് നിന്റെ രക്ഷകന് എന്നും യാക്കോബിന്റെ വല്ലഭന് നിന്റെ വീണ്ടേടുപ്പുകാരന് എന്നും നീ അറിയും

16. Thou shalt also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt suck the breast of the kings: and thou shalt know that I the LORD [am] thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

17. ഞാന് താമ്രത്തിന്നു പകരം സ്വര്ണ്ണം വരുത്തും; ഇരിന് പിന്നു പകരം വെള്ളിയും മരത്തിന്നു പകരം താമ്രവും കല്ലിന്നു പകരം ഇരിന് പും വരുത്തും; ഞാന് സമാധാനത്തെ നിനക്കു നായകന്മാരും നീതിയെ നിനക്കു അധിപതിമാരും ആക്കും

17. For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for the stones iron; I will also put peace [in the place of] thy government, and righteousness [in the place of] thine oppressors.

18. ഇനി നിന്റെ ദേശത്തു സാഹസവും നിന്റെ അതിരിന്നകത്തു ശൂന് യവും നാശവും കേള്ക്കയില്ല; നിന്റെ മതിലുകള്ക്കു രക്ഷ എന്നും നിന്റെ വാതിലുകള്ക്കു സ്തുതി എന്നും നീ പേര് പറയും

18. Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Saving Health and thy gates Praise.

19. ഇനി പകല് നേരത്തു നിന്റെ വെളിച്ചം സൂര്യനല്ല; നിനക്കു നിലാവെട്ടം തരുന്നതു ചന്ദ്രനുമല്ല; യഹോവ നിനക്കു നിത്യപ്രകാശവും നിന്റെ ദൈവം നിന്റെ തേജസ്സും ആകുന്നു

19. The sun shall no longer be thy light by day; nor shall the moon give light unto thee for brightness; but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light and thy God thy glory.

20. നിന്റെ സൂര്യന് ഇനി അസ്തമിക്കയില്ല; നിന്റെ ചന്ദ്രന് മറഞ്ഞുപോകയുമില്ല; യഹോവ നിന്റെ നിത്യപ്രകാശമായിരിക്കും; നിന്റെ ദുഃഖകാലം തീര്ന്നുപോകും

20. Thy sun shall set no more; neither shall thy moon wane: for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.

21. നിന്റെ ജനമൊക്കെയും നീതിമാന്മാരാകും; ഞാന് മഹത്വപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നു എന്റെ നടുതലയുടെ മുളയും എന്റെ കൈകളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിയും ആയിട്ടു അവര് ദേശത്തെ സദാകാലത്തേക്കു കൈവശമാക്കും

21. And thy people [shall] all [be] righteous; they shall inherit the land for ever; they shall be shoots of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.

22. കുറഞ്ഞവന് ആയിരവും ചെറിയവന് മഹാജാതിയും ആയിത്തീരും; യഹോവയായ ഞാന് തക്ക സമയത്തു അതിനെ ശീഘ്രമായി നിര്വത്തിക്കും

22. The small one [shall be] as a thousand; the youngest as a strong nation; I the LORD will hasten it in its time.:
