1. യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

1. Again a message came to me from the LORD:

2. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ മത്സരഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ നടുവില് പാര്ക്കുംന്നു; കാണ്മാന് കണ്ണുണ്ടെങ്കിലു അവര് കാണുന്നില്ല; കേള്പ്പാന് ചെവിയുണ്ടെങ്കിലും അവര് കേള്ക്കുന്നില്ല; അവര് മത്സരഗൃഹമല്ലോ.

2. 'Son of man, you live among rebels who have eyes but refuse to see. They have ears but refuse to hear. For they are a rebellious people.

3. ആകയാല് മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ യാത്രക്കോപ്പു ഒരുക്കി പകല്സമയത്തു അവര് കാണ്കെ പുറപ്പെടുക; അവര് കാണ്കെ നിന്റെ സ്ഥലം വിട്ടു മറ്റൊരു സ്ഥലത്തേക്കു യാത്രപുറപ്പെടുക; മത്സരഗൃഹമെങ്കിലും പക്ഷേ അവര് കണ്ടു ഗ്രഹിക്കുമായിരിക്കും.

3. 'So now, son of man, pretend you are being sent into exile. Pack the few items an exile could carry, and leave your home to go somewhere else. Do this right in front of the people so they can see you. For perhaps they will pay attention to this, even though they are such rebels.

4. യാത്രക്കോപ്പുപോലെ നിന്റെ സാമാനം നീ പകല്സമയത്തു അവര് കാണ്കെ പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുവരേണം; വൈകുന്നേരത്തു അവര് കാണ്കെ പ്രവാസത്തിന്നു പോകുന്നവരെപ്പോലെ നീ പുറപ്പെടേണം.

4. Bring your baggage outside during the day so they can watch you. Then in the evening, as they are watching, leave your house as captives do when they begin a long march to distant lands.

5. അവര് കാണ്കെ നീ മതില് കുത്തിത്തുരന്നു അതില്കൂടി അതു പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുപോകേണം.

5. Dig a hole through the wall while they are watching and go out through it.

6. അവര് കാണ്കെ നീ അതു തോളില് ചുമന്നുകൊണ്ടു ഇരുട്ടത്തു യാത്രപുറപ്പെടേണം; നിലം കാണാതവണ്ണം നിന്റെ മുഖം മൂടിക്കൊള്ളേണം; ഞാന് നിന്നെ യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹത്തിന്നു ഒരു അടയാളം ആക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

6. As they watch, lift your pack to your shoulders and walk away into the night. Cover your face so you cannot see the land you are leaving. For I have made you a sign for the people of Israel.'

7. എന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ഞാന് ചെയ്തു; യാത്രക്കോപ്പുപോലെ ഞാന് എന്റെ സാമാനം പകല്സമയത്തു പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു, വൈകുന്നേരത്തു ഞാന് എന്റെ കൈകൊണ്ടു മതില് കുത്തിത്തുരന്നു ഇരുട്ടത്തു അതു പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു, അവര് കാണ്കെ തോളില് ചുമന്നു.

7. So I did as I was told. In broad daylight I brought my pack outside, filled with the things I might carry into exile. Then in the evening while the people looked on, I dug through the wall with my hands and went out into the night with my pack on my shoulder.

8. The next morning this message came to me from the LORD:

9. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, മത്സരഗൃഹമായ യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹം നിന്നോടുനീ എന്തു ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചില്ലയോ?

9. 'Son of man, these rebels, the people of Israel, have asked you what all this means.

10. ഈ അരുളപ്പാടു യെരൂശലേമിലെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാര്ക്കും അവരുടെ ചുറ്റും പാര്ക്കുംന്ന യിസ്രായേല് ഗൃഹത്തിന്നൊക്കെയും ഉള്ളതു എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നു നീ അവരോടു പറക.

10. Say to them, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: These actions contain a message for King Zedekiah in Jerusalem and for all the people of Israel.'

11. ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ഒരടയാളമാകുന്നു എന്നു നീ പറക; ഞാന് ചെയ്തതുപോലെ അവര്ക്കും ഭവിക്കും; അവര് നാടുകടന്നു പ്രവാസത്തിലേക്കു പോകേണ്ടിവരും.

11. Explain that your actions are a sign to show what will soon happen to them, for they will be driven into exile as captives.

12. അവരുടെ ഇടയിലുള്ള പ്രഭു ഇരുട്ടത്തു തോളില് ചുമടുമായി പുറപ്പെടും; അതു പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുപോകേണ്ടതിന്നു അവര് മതില് കുത്തിത്തുരക്കും; കണ്ണുകൊണ്ടു നിലം കാണാതിരിക്കത്തക്കവണ്ണം അവന് മുഖം മൂടും.

12. 'Even Zedekiah will leave Jerusalem at night through a hole in the wall, taking only what he can carry with him. He will cover his face, and his eyes will not see the land he is leaving.

13. ഞാന് എന്റെ വല അവന്റെമേല് വീശും; അവന് എന്റെ കണിയില് അകപ്പെടും; ഞാന് അവനെ കല്ദയരുടെ ദേശത്തു ബാബേലില് കൊണ്ടുപോകും; എങ്കിലും അവന് അതിനെ കാണാതെ അവിടെവെച്ചു മരിക്കും.

13. Then I will throw my net over him and capture him in my snare. I will bring him to Babylon, the land of the Babylonians, though he will never see it, and he will die there.

14. അവന്റെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള സഹായക്കാരെ ഒക്കെയും അവന്റെ പടക്കൂട്ടങ്ങളെ ഒക്കെയും ഞാന് നാലു ദിക്കിലേക്കും ചിതറിച്ചുകളയും അവരുടെ പിന്നാലെ വാളൂരുകയും ചെയ്യും.

14. I will scatter his servants and warriors to the four winds and send the sword after them.

15. ഞാന് അവരെ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില് ചിതറിച്ചു ദേശങ്ങളില് ചിന്നിക്കുമ്പോള് ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു അവര് അറിയും.

15. And when I scatter them among the nations, they will know that I am the LORD.

16. എന്നാല് അവര് പോയിരിക്കുന്ന ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില് തങ്ങളുടെ സകലമ്ളേച്ഛതകളെയും വിവരിച്ചു പറയേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാന് അവരില് ഏതാനുംപേരെ വാള്, ക്ഷാമം, മഹാമാരി എന്നിവയില്നിന്നു ശേഷിപ്പിക്കും; ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു അവര് അറിയും.

16. But I will spare a few of them from death by war, famine, or disease, so they can confess all their detestable sins to their captors. Then they will know that I am the LORD.'

17. യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

17. Then this message came to me from the LORD:

18. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നടുക്കത്തോടെ അപ്പം തിന്നുകയും വിറയലോടും പേടിയോടുംകൂടെ വെള്ളം കുടിക്കയും ചെയ്ക.

18. 'Son of man, tremble as you eat your food. Shake with fear as you drink your water.

19. ദേശത്തിലെ ജനത്തോടു നീ പറയേണ്ടതുയെരൂശലേംനിവാസികളെയും യിസ്രായേല് ദേശത്തെയും കുറിച്ചു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഅവരുടെ ദേശം അതിലെ സകലനിവാസികളുടെയും സാഹസംനിമിത്തം അതിന്റെ നിറവോടു കൂടെ ശൂന്യമായ്പോകുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു അവര് പേടിയോടെ അപ്പം തിന്നുകയും സ്തംഭനത്തോട വെള്ളം കുടിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

19. Tell the people, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says concerning those living in Israel and Jerusalem: They will eat their food with trembling and sip their water in despair, for their land will be stripped bare because of their violence.

20. ജനപുഷ്ടിയുള്ള പട്ടണങ്ങള് ശൂന്യവും ദേശം നിര്ജ്ജനവും ആയിത്തീരും; ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയും.

20. The cities will be destroyed and the farmland made desolate. Then you will know that I am the LORD.''

21. യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

21. Again a message came to me from the LORD:

22. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, കാലം നീണ്ടുപോകും; ദര്ശനമൊക്കെയും ഒക്കാതെപോകും എന്നു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു യിസ്രായേല് ദേശത്തു ഒരു പഴഞ്ചൊല്ലുള്ളതു എന്തു?

22. 'Son of man, you've heard that proverb they quote in Israel: 'Time passes, and prophecies come to nothing.'

23. അതുകൊണ്ടു നീ അവരോടു പറയേണ്ടതുയഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; ഞാന് ഈ പഴഞ്ചൊല്ലു നിര്ത്തലാക്കും; അവര് യിസ്രായേലില് ഇനി അതു ഒരു പഴഞ്ചൊല്ലായി ഉപയോഗിക്കയില്ല; കാലവും സകല ദര്ശനത്തിന്റെയും നിവൃത്തിയും അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അവരോടു പ്രസ്താവിക്ക.

23. Tell the people, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will put an end to this proverb, and you will soon stop quoting it.' Now give them this new proverb to replace the old one: 'The time has come for every prophecy to be fulfilled!'

24. യിസ്രായേല് ഗൃഹത്തില് ഇനി മിത്ഥ്യാദര്ശനവും വ്യാജപ്രശ്നവും ഉണ്ടാകയില്ല.

24. 'There will be no more false visions and flattering predictions in Israel.

25. യഹോവയായ ഞാന് പ്രസ്താവിപ്പാന് ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്ന വചനം പ്രസ്താവിക്കും; അതു താമസിയാതെ നിവൃത്തിയാകും; മത്സരഗൃഹമേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ കാലത്തു തന്നേ ഞാന് വചനം പ്രസ്താവിക്കയും നിവര്ത്തിക്കയും ചെയ്യും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

25. For I am the LORD! If I say it, it will happen. There will be no more delays, you rebels of Israel. I will fulfill my threat of destruction in your own lifetime. I, the Sovereign LORD, have spoken!'

26. യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

26. Then this message came to me from the LORD:

27. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹംഇവന് ദര്ശിക്കുന്ന ദര്ശനം വളരെനാളത്തേക്കുള്ളതും ഇവന് പ്രവചിക്കുന്നതു ദീര്ഘകാലത്തേക്കുള്ളതും ആകുന്നു എന്നു പറയുന്നു.

27. 'Son of man, the people of Israel are saying, 'He's talking about the distant future. His visions won't come true for a long, long time.'

28. അതുകൊണ്ടു നീ അവരോടു പറയേണ്ടതുയഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഎന്റെ വചനങ്ങളില് ഒന്നും ഇനി താമസിക്കയില്ല; ഞാന് പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്ന വചനം നിവൃത്തിയാകും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

28. Therefore, tell them, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: No more delay! I will now do everything I have threatened. I, the Sovereign LORD, have spoken!''
