1. യഹോവ സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില്വെച്ചു മോശെയെ വിളിച്ചു അവനോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു

1. The Lord called out to Moses. He spoke to him from the Tent of Meeting. He said,

2. നീ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടു സംസാരിച്ചു അവരോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്നിങ്ങളില് ആരെങ്കിലും യഹോവേക്കു വഴിപാടു കഴിക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് കന്നുകാലികളോ ആടുകളോ ആയ മൃഗങ്ങളെ വഴിപാടു കഴിക്കേണം.

2. 'Speak to the people of Israel. Tell them, 'Suppose any one of you brings an offering to the Lord. You must bring an animal from your herd or flock.

3. അവര് വഴിപാടായി കന്നുകാലികളില് ഒന്നിനെ ഹോമയാഗം കഴിക്കുന്നുവെങ്കില് ഊനമില്ലാത്ത ആണിനെ അര്പ്പിക്കേണം; യഹോവയുടെ പ്രസാദം ലഭിപ്പാന് തക്കവണ്ണം അവന് അതിനെ സമാഗമന കൂടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കല് വെച്ചു അര്പ്പിക്കേണം.

3. ' 'If a man brings a burnt offering from the herd, he must offer a male animal. It must not have any flaws. He must bring it to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. Then the Lord will accept it.

4. അവന് ഹോമയാഗത്തിന്റെ തലയില് കൈവെക്കേണം; എന്നാല് അതു അവന്നുവേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം വരുത്തുവാന് അവന്റെ പേര്ക്കും സുഗ്രാഹ്യമാകും.

4. 'The man must place his hand on the head of the burnt offering. Then the Lord will accept it in place of him. It will pay for his sin.

5. അവന് യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് കാളക്കിടാവിനെ അറുക്കേണം; അഹരോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരായ പുരോഹിതന്മാര് അതിന്റെ രക്തം കൊണ്ടുവന്നു സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കല് ഉള്ള യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല് ചുറ്റും തളിക്കേണം.

5. The young bull must be killed there in the sight of the Lord. ' 'Then the priests who are in Aaron's family line must bring its blood to the altar. They must sprinkle it against every side of the altar. The altar stands at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.

6. അവന് ഹോമയാഗമൃഗത്തെ തോലുരിച്ചു ഖണ്ഡംഖണ്ഡമായി മുറിക്കേണം.

6. ' 'The skin must be removed from the animal that is brought for the burnt offering. Then the animal must be cut into pieces.

7. പുരോഹിതനായ അഹരോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര് യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല് തീ ഇട്ടു തീയുടെ മേല് വിറകു അടുക്കേണം.

7. 'The priests who are in Aaron's family line must build a fire on the altar. They must place wood on the fire.

8. പിന്നെ അഹരോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരായ പുരോഹിതന്മാര് ഖണ്ഡങ്ങളും തലയും മേദസ്സും യാഗപീഠത്തില് തീയുടെ മേലുള്ള വിറകിന്മീതെ അടുക്കിവെക്കേണം.

8. Then they must place the pieces of the animal on the burning wood on the altar. The pieces include the head and the fat.

9. അതിന്റെ കുടലും കാലും അവന് വെള്ളത്തില് കഴുകേണം. പുരോഹിതന് സകലവും യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല് ഹോമയാഗമായി ദഹിപ്പിക്കേണം; അതു യഹോവേക്കു സൌരഭ്യവാസനയായ ദഹനയാഗം.

9. 'The inside parts of the animal must be washed with water. The legs must also be washed. The priest must burn all of it on the altar. ' 'It is a burnt offering. It is an offering that is made with fire. It gives a smell that is pleasant to the Lord.

10. ഹോമയാഗത്തിന്നുള്ള അവന്റെ വഴിപാടു ആട്ടിന് കൂട്ടത്തിലെ ഒരു ചെമ്മരിയാടോ കോലാടോ ആകുന്നുവെങ്കില് ഊനമില്ലാത്ത ആണിനെ അവന് അര്പ്പിക്കേണം.

10. ' 'If the offering is a burnt offering from the flock, it must be a male animal. It can be a sheep or a goat. It must not have any flaws.

11. അവന് യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് യാഗപീഠത്തിന്റെ വടക്കുവശത്തുവെച്ചു അതിനെ അറുക്കേണം; അഹരോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരായ പുരോഹിതന്മാര് അതിന്റെ രക്തം യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല് ചുറ്റും തളിക്കേണം.

11. ' 'It must be killed at the north side of the altar in the sight of the Lord. The priests who are in Aaron's family line must sprinkle its blood against every side of the altar.

12. അവന് അതിനെ തലയോടും മേദസ്സോടുംകൂടെ ഖണ്ഡംഖണ്ഡമായി മുറിക്കേണം; പുരോഹിതന് അവയെ യാഗപീഠത്തില് തീയുടെമേലുള്ള വിറകിന്മീതെ അടുക്കിവെക്കേണം.

12. 'The animal must be cut into pieces. The priest must place them on the burning wood on the altar. The pieces include the head and the fat.

13. കുടലും കാലും അവന് വെള്ളത്തില് കഴുകേണം; പുരോഹിതന് സകലവും കൊണ്ടുവന്നു ഹോമയാഗമായി യഹോവേക്കു സൌരഭ്യവാസനയുള്ള ദഹനയാഗമായി യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല് ദഹിപ്പിക്കേണം.

14. യഹോവേക്കു അവന്റെ വഴിപാടു പറവ ജാതിയില് ഒന്നിനെക്കൊണ്ടുള്ള ഹോമയാഗമാകുന്നു എങ്കില് അവന് കുറുപ്രാവിനെയോ പ്രാവിന് കുഞ്ഞിനെയോ വഴിപാടായി അര്പ്പിക്കേണം.

14. ' 'If the offering to the Lord is a burnt offering of birds, it must be a dove or a young pigeon.

15. പുരോഹിതന് അതിനെ യാഗപീഠത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കല് കൊണ്ടുവന്നു തല പിരിച്ചുപറിച്ചു യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല് ദഹിപ്പിക്കേണം; അതിന്റെ രക്തം യാഗപീഠത്തിന്റെ പാര്ശ്വത്തിങ്കല് പിഴിഞ്ഞുകളയേണം.

15. 'The priest must bring it to the altar. He must twist its head off. Then he must burn the rest of the bird on the altar. Its blood must be emptied out on the side of the altar.

16. അതിന്റെ തീന് പണ്ടം മലത്തോടുകൂടെ പറിച്ചെടുത്തു യാഗപീഠത്തിന്റെ അരികെ കിഴക്കുവശത്തു വെണ്ണീരിടുന്ന സ്ഥലത്തു ഇടേണം.

16. ' 'The priest must remove the small bag inside the bird's throat. He must also remove what is in the bag. Then he must throw all of it to the east side of the altar. That is where the ashes are.

17. അതിനെ രണ്ടാക്കാതെ ചിറകോടുകൂടെ പിളര്ക്കേണം; പുരോഹിതന് അതിനെ യാഗപീഠത്തില് തീയുടെമേലുള്ള വിറകിന്മീതെ ദഹിപ്പിക്കേണം; അതു ഹോമയാഗമായി യഹോവേക്കു സൌരഭ്യവാസനയായ ദഹനയാഗം.

17. He must take hold of the wings of the bird and tear it open. But he must not tear it in two. Then the priest will burn it on the wood that is on the fire on the altar. ' 'It is a burnt offering. It is an offering that is made with fire. It gives a smell that is pleasant to the Lord.
