1. ഒരുത്തന് സത്യവാചകം കേട്ടിട്ടു, താന് സാക്ഷിയായി കാണുകയോ അറികയോ ചെയ്തതു അറിയിക്കാതെ അങ്ങനെ പാപം ചെയ്താല് അവന് തന്റെ കുറ്റം വഹിക്കേണം.

1. And when a person sins, and hears the voice of swearing, and he is a witness, or has seen, or has known, if he does not reveal it, then he shall bear his iniquity.

2. ശുദ്ധിയില്ലാത്ത കാട്ടുമൃഗത്തിന്റെ പിണമോ ശുദ്ധിയില്ലാത്ത നാട്ടുമൃഗത്തിന്റെ പിണമോ ശുദ്ധിയില്ലാത്ത ഇഴജാതിയുടെ പിണമോ ഇങ്ങനെ വല്ല അശുദ്ധവസ്തുവും ഒരുത്തന് തൊടുകയും അതു അവന്നു മറവായിരിക്കയും ചെയ്താല് അവന് അശുദ്ധനും കുറ്റക്കാരനും ആകുന്നു.

2. Or if a soul touches any unclean thing, or the unclean dead body of an animal, or the unclean dead body of livestock, or the dead body of unclean swarming things, it being hidden from him that he is unclean and is guilty,

3. അല്ലെങ്കില് യാതൊരു അശുദ്ധിയാലെങ്കിലും അശുദ്ധനായ ഒരു മനുഷ്യന്റെ അശുദ്ധിയെ ഒരുത്തന് തൊടുകയും അതു അവന്നു മറവായിരിക്കയും ചെയ്താല് അതു അറിയുമ്പോള് അവന് കുറ്റക്കാരനാകും.

3. or if he touches the uncleanness of man, any of his uncleanness by which he is unclean, and it is hidden from him, and he knows, then he is guilty.

4. അല്ലെങ്കില് മനുഷ്യന് നിര്വ്വിചാരമായി സത്യം ചെയ്യുന്നതുപോലെ ദോഷം ചെയ്വാനോ ഗുണം ചെയ്വാനോ ഒരുത്തന് തന്റെ അധരങ്ങള് കൊണ്ടു നിര്വ്വിചാരമായി സത്യം ചെയ്കയും അതു അവന്നു മറവായിരിക്കയും ചെയ്താല് അവന് അതു അറിയുമ്പോള് അങ്ങനെയുള്ള കാര്യത്തില് അവന് കുറ്റക്കാരനാകും.

4. Or if a person swears, speaking rashly with the lips, to do evil, or to do good, anything which the man speaks rashly with an oath, and it is hidden from him, and he knows, then he is guilty of one of these.

5. ആ വക കാര്യത്തില് അവന് കുറ്റക്കാരനാകുമ്പോള് താന് പാപം ചെയ്തു എന്നു അവന് ഏറ്റുപറയേണം.

5. And it shall be when he is guilty of one of these, then he shall confess that in which he has sinned.

6. താന് ചെയ്ത പാപം നിമിത്തം അവന് യഹോവേക്കു അകൃത്യയാഗമായി ചെമ്മരിയാട്ടിന് കുട്ടിയോ കോലാട്ടിന് കുട്ടിയോ ആയ ഒരു പെണ്ണാട്ടിനെ പാപയാഗമായി കൊണ്ടുവരേണം; പുരോഹിതന് അവന്നുവേണ്ടി അവന്റെ പാപം നിമിത്തം പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം.

6. And he shall bring his guilt offering to Jehovah for his sin which he has sinned, a female out of the flock, a lamb, or a doe of the goats, for a sin offering. And the priest shall atone for him regarding his sin.

7. ആട്ടിന് കുട്ടിക്കു അവന്നു വകയില്ലെങ്കില് താന് ചെയ്ത പാപം നിമിത്തം അവന് രണ്ടു കുറുപ്രാവിനെയോ രണ്ടു പ്രാവിന് കുഞ്ഞിനെയോ ഒന്നിനെ പാപയാഗമായും മറ്റേതിനെ ഹോമയാഗമായും യഹോവേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവരേണം.

7. And if his hand does not reach to a lamb, then he shall bring his guilt offering, he who has sinned, two turtledoves, or two offspring of a dove, to Jehovah; one for a sin offering, and one for a burnt offering.

8. അവന് അവയെ പുരോഹിതന്റെ അടുക്കല് കൊണ്ടു വരേണം; അവന് പാപയാഗത്തിന്നുള്ളതിനെ മുമ്പെ അര്പ്പിച്ചു അതിന്റെ തല കഴുത്തില്നിന്നു പിരിച്ചുപറിക്കേണം; എന്നാല് രണ്ടായി പിളര്ക്കരുതു.

8. And he shall bring them to the priest, who shall bring near for a sin offering first. And he shall nip off its head from its neck, but shall not divide it.

9. അവന് പാപയാഗത്തിന്റെ രക്തം കുറെ യാഗപീഠത്തിന്റെ പാര്ശ്വത്തില് തളിക്കേണം; ശേഷം രക്തം യാഗപീഠത്തിന്റെ ചുവട്ടില് പിഴിഞ്ഞുകളയേണം; ഇതു പാപയാഗം.

9. And he shall sprinkle some of the blood of the sin offering on the side of the altar, and that which remains of the blood shall be drained at the base of the altar; it is a sin offering.

10. രണ്ടാമത്തെതിനെ അവന് നിയമപ്രകാരം ഹോമയാഗമായി അര്പ്പിക്കേണം; ഇങ്ങനെ പുരോഹിതന് അവന് ചെയ്ത പാപംനിമിത്തം അവന്നുവേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം; എന്നാല് അതു അവനോടു ക്ഷമിക്കും.

10. And he shall offer the second for a burnt offering, as by decree. And the priest shall atone for him, because of his sin which he has sinned; and it shall be forgiven him.

11. രണ്ടു കുറുപ്രാവിന്നോ രണ്ടു പ്രാവിന് കുഞ്ഞിന്നോ അവന്നു വകയില്ലെങ്കില് പാപം ചെയ്തവന് പാപയാഗത്തിന്നു ഒരിടങ്ങഴി നേരിയ മാവു വഴിപാടായി കൊണ്ടുവരേണം; അതു പാപയാഗം ആകകൊണ്ടു അതിന്മേല് എണ്ണ ഒഴിക്കരുതു; കുന്തുരുക്കം ഇടുകയും അരുതു.

11. And if his hand cannot reach to two turtledoves, or two offspring of a dove, then he who sinned shall bring his offering, a tenth of an ephah of fine flour for a sin offering; he shall not put oil on it, nor put frankincense on it; for it is a sin offering.

12. അവന് അതു പുരോഹിതന്റെ അടുക്കല് കൊണ്ടുവരേണംപുരോഹിതന് നിവേദ്യമായി അതില്നിന്നു കൈ നിറച്ചെടുത്തു യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല് യഹോവേക്കുള്ള ദഹനയാഗങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ ദഹിപ്പിക്കേണം; ഇതു പാപയാഗം.

12. And he shall bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take from it his full handful, the memorial offering, and shall burn it as incense on the altar, on the fire offering of Jehovah; it is a sin offering.

13. ഇങ്ങനെ പുരോഹിതന് ആവക കാര്യത്തില് അവന് ചെയ്ത പാപം നിമിത്തം അവന്നുവേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം; എന്നാല് അതു അവനോടു ക്ഷമിക്കും; ശേഷിപ്പുള്ളതു ഭോജനയാഗം പോലെ പുരോഹിതന്നു ഇരിക്കേണം.

13. And the priest shall atone for him, for his sin which he sinned from one of these; and it shall be forgiven him. And it shall be for the priest as a food offering.

14. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു എന്തെന്നാല്

14. And Jehovah spoke to Moses saying,

15. ആരെങ്കിലും യഹോവയുടെ വിശുദ്ധവസ്തുക്കളെ സംബന്ധിച്ചു അബദ്ധവശാല് അതിക്രമം ചെയ്തു പിഴെച്ചു എങ്കില് അവന് തന്റെ അകൃത്യത്തിന്നു വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിലെ തൂക്കപ്രകാരം നീ മതിക്കുന്ന വിലെക്കുള്ളതായി ഊനമില്ലാത്ത ഒരു ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനെ അകൃത്യയാഗമായി യഹോവേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവരേണം.

15. If a person commits a trespass and sins in error against the holy things of Jehovah, then he shall bring his guilt offering to Jehovah, a ram, without blemish out of the flock, at your evaluation in silver shekels, by the shekel of the sanctuary, for a guilt offering.

16. വിശുദ്ധവസ്തുക്കളെ സംബന്ധിച്ചു താന് പിഴെച്ചതിന്നു പകരം മുതലും അതിനോടു അഞ്ചിലൊന്നു കൂട്ടിയും അവന് പുരോഹിതന്നു കൊടുക്കേണം; പുരോഹിതന് അകൃത്യയാഗത്തിന്നുള്ള ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനെക്കൊണ്ടു അവന്നു വേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം; എന്നാല് അതു അവനോടു ക്ഷമിക്കും.

16. And he shall make good that in which he sinned against the holy thing, and he shall add its fifth part to it, and give it to the priest. And the priest shall atone for him with the ram of the guilt offering; and it shall be forgiven him.

17. ചെയ്യരുതെന്നു യഹോവ കല്പിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള വല്ലകാര്യത്തിലും ആരെങ്കിലും പിഴെച്ചിട്ടു അവന് അറിയാതിരുന്നാലും കുറ്റക്കാരനാകുന്നു; അവന് തന്റെ കുറ്റം വഹിക്കേണം.

17. And if a person sins, and he has done that which is not to be done from any one of all the commands of Jehovah, and does not know, and he is guilty, and bears his iniquity,

18. അവന് അകൃത്യയാഗത്തിന്നായി നിന്റെ മതിപ്പുപോലെ ഊനമില്ലാത്ത ഒരു ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനെ പുരോഹിതന്റെ അടുക്കല് കൊണ്ടു വരേണം; അവന് അബദ്ധവശാല് പിഴെച്ചതും അറിയാതിരുന്നതുമായ പിഴെക്കായി പുരോഹിതന് അവന്നുവേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം; എന്നാല് അതു അവനോടു ക്ഷമിക്കും.

18. then he shall bring a ram, without blemish from the flock, at your evaluation for a guilt offering to the priest. And the priest shall atone for him, for his sin of error which he erred, and he did not know; and it shall be forgiven him.

19. ഇതു അകൃത്യയാഗം; അവന് യഹോവയോടു അകൃത്യം ചെയ്തുവല്ലോ.

19. It is a guilt offering; truly he is guilty before the face of Jehovah.
