1. എട്ടാം ദിവസം മോശെ അഹരോനെയും പുത്രന്മാരെയും യിസ്രായേല്മൂപ്പന്മാരെയും വിളിച്ചു,

1. And the eighth day Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel,

2. അഹരോനോടു പറഞ്ഞതു എന്തെന്നാല്നീ പാപയാഗത്തിന്നായി ഊനമില്ലാത്ത ഒരു കാളകൂട്ടിയെയും ഹോമയാഗത്തിന്നായി ഊനമില്ലാത്ത ഒരു ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനെയും എടുത്തു യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് അര്പ്പിക്കേണം.

2. and said unto Aaron: take a calf for a sinoffering, and a ram for a burntoffering: both without blemish, and bring them before the LORD.

3. എന്നാല് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടു നീ പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് യാഗം കഴിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങള് പാപയാഗത്തിന്നായി ഊനമില്ലാത്ത ഒരു കോലാട്ടിനെയും ഹോമയാഗത്തിന്നായി ഒരു വയസ്സു പ്രായമുള്ള ഊനമില്ലാത്ത ഒരു കാളകൂട്ടിയെയും ഒരു വയസ്സുപ്രായമുള്ള ഊനമില്ലാത്ത ഒരു ചെമ്മരിയാട്ടിന് കുട്ടിയെയും

3. And unto the children of Israel he spake saying: take ye an he goat for a sinoffering, and a calf and a lamb both two of a year old, and without blemish for a burnt sacrifice,

4. സമാധാനയാഗത്തിന്നായി ഒരു കാളയെയും ഒരു ചെമ്മരിയാട്ടുകൊറ്റനെയും എണ്ണ ചേര്ത്ത ഭോജനയാഗത്തെയും എടുപ്പിന് ; യഹോവ ഇന്നു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു പ്രത്യക്ഷനാകും.

4. and an ox and a ram for peaceofferings, to offer before the LORD, and a meatoffering mingled with oil, for today the LORD will appear unto you.

5. മോശെ കല്പിച്ചവയെ അവര് സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്നു മുമ്പില് കൊണ്ടു വന്നു; സഭ മുഴുവനും അടുത്തുവന്നു യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് നിന്നു.

5. And they brought that which Moses commanded unto the tabernacle of witness, and all the people came and stood before the LORD.

6. അപ്പോള് മോശെനിങ്ങള് ചെയ്യേണമെന്നു യഹോവ കല്പിച്ച കാര്യം ഇതു ആകുന്നു; യഹോവയുടെ തേജസ്സു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു പ്രത്യക്ഷമാകും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

6. And Moses said: this is the thing which the LORD commanded that ye should do: and then the glory of the LORD shall appear unto you.

7. അഹരോനോടു മോശെനീ യാഗപീഠത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കല് ചെന്നു യഹോവ കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ നിന്റെ പാപയാഗവും ഹോമയാഗവും അര്പ്പിച്ചു നിനക്കും ജനത്തിന്നുംവേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിച്ചു ജനത്തിന്റെ വഴിപാടു അര്പ്പിച്ചു അവര്ക്കായിട്ടും പ്രാശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്ക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

7. And Moses said unto Aaron: go unto the altar and offer thy sinoffering, and make an atonement for thee and for the people: and then offer the offering of the people and reconcile them also, as the LORD commanded Moses.

8. അങ്ങനെ അഹരോന് യാഗപീഠത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കല് ചെന്നു തനിക്കുവേണ്ടി പാപയാഗത്തിന്നുള്ള കാളകൂട്ടിയെ അറുത്തു;

8. And Aaron went unto the altar, and slew the calf that was his sinoffering.

10. പാപയാഗത്തിന്റെ മേദസ്സും മൂത്രപിണ്ഡങ്ങളും കരളിന്മേലുള്ള വപയും അവന് യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല് ദഹിപ്പിച്ചു; യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ തന്നേ.

10. And the fat and the two kidneys with the caul of the liver of the sinoffering, he burnt upon the altar, as the LORD commanded Moses:

11. അതിന്റെ മാംസവും തോലും അവന് പാളയത്തിന്നു പുറത്തു തീയില് ഇട്ടു ചുട്ടുകളഞ്ഞു.

11. but the flesh and the hide, he burnt with fire without the host.

12. അവന് ഹോമയാഗത്തെയും അറുത്തു; അഹരോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര് അതിന്റെ രക്തം അവന്റെ അടുക്കല് കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; അവന് അതു യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല് ചുറ്റും തളിച്ചു.

12. Afterward he slew the burntoffering, and Aaron's sons brought the blood unto him, and he sprinkled it round about upon the altar.

13. അവര് ഖണ്ഡംഖണ്ഡമായി ഹോമയാഗവും അതിന്റെ തലയും അവന്റെ അടുക്കല് കൊണ്ടുവന്നു അവന് അവയെ യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല് ദഹിപ്പിച്ചു.

13. And they brought the burntoffering unto him in pieces and the head also, and he burnt it upon the altar,

14. അവന് അതിന്റെ കുടലും കാലും കഴുകി യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല് ഹോമയാഗത്തിന് മീതെ ദഹിപ്പിച്ചു.

14. and did wash the inwards and the legs, and burnt them also upon the burntoffering in the altar.

15. അവന് ജനത്തിന്റെ വഴിപാടുകൊണ്ടുവന്നുജനത്തിന്നുവേണ്ടി പാപയാഗത്തിന്നുള്ള കോലാടിനെ പിടിച്ചു അറുത്തു മുമ്പിലത്തേതിനെപ്പോലെ പാപയാഗമായി അര്പ്പിച്ചു.

15. And then he brought the people's offering and took the goat that was the people's sinoffering, and slew it and offered it for a sinoffering: as he did the first.

16. അവന് ഹോമയാഗംകൊണ്ടു വന്നു അതും നിയമപ്രകാരം അര്പ്പിച്ചു.

16. And then brought the burntoffering and offered it as the manner was,

17. അവന് ഭോജനയാഗം കൊണ്ടുവന്നു അതില് നിന്നു കൈനിറെച്ചു എടുത്തു കാലത്തെ ഹോമയാഗത്തിന്നു പുറമെ യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല് ദഹിപ്പിച്ചു.

17. and brought the meatoffering and filled his hand thereof, and burnt it upon the altar, besides the burnt sacrifice in the morning.

18. പിന്നെ അവന് ജനത്തിന്നുവേണ്ടി സമാധാനയാഗത്തിന്നുള്ള കാളയെയും ചെമ്മരിയാട്ടുകൊറ്റനെയും അറുത്തു; അഹരോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര് അതിന്റെ രക്തം അവന്റെ അടുക്കല് കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; അവന് അതു യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല് ചുറ്റും തളിച്ചു.

18. Then he slew the ox and the ram that were the people's peaceofferings, and Aaron's sons brought the blood unto him, and he sprinkled it upon the altar round about,

19. കാളയുടെയും ആട്ടുകൊറ്റന്റെയും മേദസ്സും തടിച്ചവാലും കുടല് പൊതിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന മേദസ്സും മൂത്രപിണ്ഡങ്ങളും കരളിന്മേലുള്ള വപയും കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.

19. and took the fat of the ox and of the ram: the rump and the fat that covereth the inwards and the kidneys and the caul of the liver:

20. അവര് മേദസ്സു നെഞ്ചുകണ്ടങ്ങളുടെമേല് വെച്ചു; അവന് മേദസ്സു യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല് ദഹിപ്പിച്ചു.

20. and put them upon the breasts and burnt it upon the altar:

21. എന്നാല് നെഞ്ചുകണ്ടങ്ങളും വലത്തെ കൈക്കുറകും മോശെ കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ അഹരോന് യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് നീരാജാനാര്പ്പണമായി നീരാജനം ചെയ്തു.

21. but the breasts and the right shoulders Aaron waved before the LORD, as the LORD commanded Moses.

22. പിന്നെ അഹരോന് ജനത്തിന്നു നേരെ കൈ ഉയര്ത്തി അവരെ ആശീര്വ്വദിച്ചു; പാപയാഗവും ഹോമയാഗവും സമാധാനയാഗവും അര്പ്പിച്ചിട്ടു അവന് ഇറങ്ങിപ്പോന്നു.

22. And Aaron lift up his hand over the people and blessed them, and came down from offering of sinofferings, burntofferings and peaceofferings.

23. മോശെയും അഹരോനും സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില് കടന്നിട്ടു പുറത്തുവന്നു ജനത്തെ ആശീര്വ്വദിച്ചു; അപ്പോള് യഹോവയുടെ തേജസ്സു സകല ജനത്തിന്നും പ്രത്യക്ഷമായി.

23. Then Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of witness and came out again and blessed the people, and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the people.

24. യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില്നിന്നു തീ പുറപ്പെട്ടു യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല് ഉള്ള ഹോമയാഗവും മേദസ്സും ദഹിപ്പിച്ചു; ജനമെല്ലാം അതു കണ്ടപ്പോള് ആര്ത്തു സാഷ്ടാംഗം വീണു.

24. And there came a fire out from before the LORD, and consumed upon the altar: the burntoffering and the fat. And all the people saw it and shouted, and fell on their faces.
