1. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടും അഹരോനോടും അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു

1. The LORD told Moses

2. ലേവ്യരില് വെച്ചു കെഹാത്യരില് മുപ്പതു വയസ്സുമുതല് അമ്പതു വയസ്സുവരെയുള്ളവരായി സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില്

2. to take a census of the Levite clan of Kohath by subclans and families,

3. വേലചെയ്വാന് സേവയില് പ്രവേശിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാവരെയും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും കുലംകുലമായും എണ്ണി തുക എടുപ്പിന് .

3. and to register all the men between the ages of thirty and fifty who were qualified to work in the Tent of the LORD's presence.

4. സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില് അതിവിശുദ്ധകാര്യങ്ങളെ സംബന്ധിച്ചു കെഹാത്യരുടെ വേല എന്തെന്നാല്

4. Their service involves the most holy things.

5. പാളയം യാത്രപുറപ്പെടുമ്പോള് അഹരോനും പുത്രന്മാരും വന്നു തിരശ്ശീല ഇറക്കി അതുകൊണ്ടു സാക്ഷ്യപെട്ടകം മൂടേണം.

5. The LORD gave Moses the following instructions. When it is time to break camp, Aaron and his sons shall enter the Tent, take down the curtain in front of the Covenant Box, and cover the Box with it.

6. തഹശൂതോല്കൊണ്ടുള്ള മൂടി അതിന്മേല് ഇട്ടു അതിന്നു മീതെ നീലശ്ശീല വിരിച്ചു തണ്ടു ചെലുത്തേണം.

6. They shall put a fine leather cover over it, spread a cloth of solid blue on top, and then insert the carrying poles.

7. കാഴ്ചയപ്പത്തിന്റെ മേശമേലും ഒരു നീലശ്ശീല വിരിച്ചു അതിന്മേല് തളികകളും കരണ്ടികളും കിണ്ടികളും പകരുന്നതിന്നുള്ള കുടങ്ങളും വെക്കേണം; നിരന്തരമായ അപ്പവും അതിന്മേല് ഇരിക്കേണം.

7. They shall spread a blue cloth over the table for the bread offered to the LORD and put on it the dishes, the incense bowls, the offering bowls, and the jars for the wine offering. There shall always be bread on the table.

8. അവയുടെ മേല് ഒരു ചുവപ്പുശീല വിരിച്ചു തഹശൂതോല്കൊണ്ടുള്ള മൂടുവിരിയാല് അതു മൂടുകയും തണ്ടു ചെലുത്തുകയും വേണം.

8. They shall spread a red cloth over all of this, put a fine leather cover over it, and then insert the carrying poles.

9. ഒരു നീലശ്ശീല എടുത്തു വെളിച്ചത്തിന്നുള്ള നിലവിളക്കും അതിന്റെ ദീപങ്ങളും ചവണകളും കരിന്തിരി മുറിച്ചിടുന്ന പാത്രങ്ങളും അതിന്റെ ഉപയോഗത്തിന്നുള്ള എല്ലാ എണ്ണകൂടങ്ങളും മൂടേണം.

9. They shall take a blue cloth and cover the lampstand, with its lamps, tongs, trays, and all the olive oil containers.

10. അതും അതിന്റെ പാത്രങ്ങളൊക്കെയും തഹശൂതോല്കൊണ്ടുള്ള ഒരു വിരിയില് പൊതിഞ്ഞു ഒരു തണ്ടിന്മേല് വെച്ചുകെട്ടേണം.

10. They shall wrap it and all its equipment in a fine leather cover and place it on a carrying frame.

11. സ്വര്ണ്ണ പീഠത്തിന്മേല് അവര് ഒരു നീലശ്ശീല വിരിച്ചു തഹശ്ശൂതോല്കൊണ്ടുള്ള ഒരു വിരിയാല് മൂടുകയും തണ്ടു ചെലുത്തുകയും വേണം.

11. Next they shall spread a blue cloth over the gold altar, put a fine leather cover over it, and then insert the carrying poles.

12. വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിലെ ശുശ്രൂഷെക്കുള്ള ഉപകരണങ്ങളൊക്കെയും അവര് എടുത്തു ഒരു നീലശ്ശീലയില് പൊതിഞ്ഞു തഹശൂതോല്കൊണ്ടുള്ള ഒരു വിരിയാല് മൂടുകയും ഒരു തണ്ടിന്മേല് വെച്ചു കെട്ടുകയും വേണം.

12. They shall take all the utensils used in the Holy Place, wrap them in a blue cloth, put a fine leather cover over them, and place them on a carrying frame.

13. അവര് യാഗപീഠത്തില്നിന്നു വെണ്ണീര് നീക്കി അതിന്മേല് ഒരു ധൂമ്രശീല വിരിക്കേണം.

13. They shall remove the greasy ashes from the altar and spread a purple cloth over it.

14. അവര് അതിന്മേല് ശുശ്രൂഷചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നുള്ള ഉപകരണങ്ങളായ കലശം, മുള്ക്കൊളുത്തു, ചട്ടുകം, കലം എന്നിങ്ങനെ യാഗപീഠത്തിന്റെ ഉപകരണങ്ങളൊക്കെയും അതിന്മേല് വെക്കേണം; തഹശൂതോല്കൊണ്ടുള്ള ഒരു വിരി അതിന്മേല് വിരിക്കയും തണ്ടു ചെലുത്തുകയും വേണം.

14. They shall put on it all the equipment used in the service at the altar: fire pans, hooks, shovels, and basins. Then they shall put a fine leather cover over it and insert the carrying poles.

15. പാളയം യാത്രപുറപ്പെടുമ്പോള് അഹരോനും പുത്രന്മാരും വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരവും വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിലെ ഉപകരണങ്ങളൊക്കെയും മൂടി തീര്ന്നശേഷം കെഹാത്യര് ചുമപ്പാന് വരേണം; എന്നാല് അവര് മരിക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു വിശുദ്ധമായതൊന്നും തൊടരുതു; സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില് കെഹാത്യരുടെ ചുമടു ഇവ തന്നേ.

15. When it is time to break camp, the clan of Kohath shall come to carry the sacred objects only after Aaron and his sons have finished covering them and all their equipment. The Kohath clan must not touch the sacred objects, or they will die. These are the responsibilities of the Kohath clan whenever the Tent is moved.

16. പുരോഹിതനായ അഹരോന്റെ മകന് എലെയാസാര് നോക്കേണ്ടതുവെളിച്ചത്തിന്നുള്ള എണ്ണ, സുഗന്ധധൂപവര്ഗ്ഗം, നിരന്തരഭോജനയാഗം, അഭിഷേകതൈലം എന്നിവയും തിരുനിവാസം മുഴുവനും അതിലുള്ളതൊക്കെയും വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരവും അതിന്റെ ഉപകരണങ്ങളും തന്നേ.

16. Eleazar son of Aaron the priest shall be responsible for the whole Tent and for the oil for the lamps, the incense, the grain offerings, the anointing oil, and everything else in the Tent that has been consecrated to the LORD.

17. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടും അഹരോനോടും അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു

17. The LORD said to Moses and Aaron,

18. നിങ്ങള് കെഹാത്യകുടുംബങ്ങളുടെ ഗോത്രത്തെ ലേവ്യരില്നിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയരുതു.

18. 'Do not let the clan of Kohath

19. അവര് അതിവിശുദ്ധവസ്തുക്കളോടു അടുക്കുമ്പോള് മരിക്കാതെ ജീവനോടിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഇങ്ങനെ ചെയ്വിന് അഹരോനും പുത്രന്മാരും അകത്തു കടന്നു അവരില് ഔരോരുത്തനെ അവനവന്റെ വേലെക്കും അവനവന്റെ ചുമട്ടിന്നും ആക്കേണം.

19. be killed by coming near these most sacred objects. To prevent this from happening, Aaron and his sons shall go in and assign each man his task and tell him what to carry.

20. എന്നാല് അവര് വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരം കണ്ടിട്ടു മരിച്ചുപോകാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ക്ഷണനേരംപോലും അകത്തു കടക്കരുതു.

20. But if the Kohathites enter the Tent and see the priests preparing the sacred objects for moving, they will die.'

21. The LORD told Moses

22. ഗേര്ശോന്യരെയും കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും എണ്ണി തുക എടുക്കുക.

22. to take a census of the Levite clan of Gershon by subclans and families,

23. മുപ്പതു വയസ്സുമുതല് അമ്പതു വയസ്സുവരെ സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില് വേല ചെയ്വാന് സേവയില് പ്രവേശിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാവരെയും എണ്ണേണം.

23. and to register all the men between the ages of thirty and fifty who were qualified to work in the Tent of the LORD's presence.

24. സേവ ചെയ്യുന്നതിലും ചുമടെടുക്കുന്നതിലും ഗേര്ശോന്യകുടുംബങ്ങള്ക്കുള്ള വേല എന്തെന്നാല്

24. They shall be responsible for carrying the following objects:

25. തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്റെ തിരശ്ശീല, സമാഗമനക്കുടാരം, അതിന്റെ മൂടുവിരി, തഹശുതോല്കൊണ്ടു അതിന്മേലുള്ള പുറമൂടി, സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതിലിന്നുള്ള മറശ്ശീല,

25. the Tent, its inner cover, its outer cover, the fine leather cover on top of it, the curtain for the entrance,

26. പ്രാകാരത്തിന്റെ മറശ്ശീല, തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്നും യാഗപീഠത്തിന്നും ചുറ്റുമുള്ള പ്രാകാരത്തിന്റെ വാതിലിന്നുള്ള മറശ്ശീല, അവയുടെ കയറു എന്നിവയും അവയുടെ ഉപയോഗത്തിന്നുള്ള ഉപകരണങ്ങള് ഒക്കെയും അവര് ചുമക്കേണം; അവയെ സംബന്ധിച്ചു ചെയ്വാനുള്ള വേലയൊക്കെയും അവര് ചെയ്യേണം.

26. the curtains and ropes for the court that is around the Tent and the altar, the curtains for the entrance of the court, and all the fittings used in setting up these objects. They shall perform all the tasks required for these things.

27. ഗേര്ശോന്യരുടെ എല്ലാ ചുമടുകളും എല്ലാവേലയും സംബന്ധിച്ചുള്ളതൊക്കെയും അഹരോന്റെയും പുത്രന്മാരുടെയും കല്പന പ്രകാരം ആയിരിക്കേണം; അവരുടെ എല്ലാ ചുമടും നിങ്ങള് അവരുടെ വിചാരണയില് ഏല്പിക്കേണം.

27. Moses and Aaron shall see to it that the Gershonites perform all the duties and carry everything that Aaron and his sons assign to them.

28. സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില് ഗേര്ശോന്യരുടെ കുടുംബങ്ങള്ക്കുള്ള വേല ഇതു തന്നേ; അവരുടെ സേവ പുരോഹിതനായ അഹരോന്റെ മകന് ഈഥാമാരിന്റെ കൈക്കീഴായിരിക്കേണം.

28. These are the responsibilities of the Gershon clan in the Tent; they shall carry them out under the direction of Ithamar son of Aaron the priest.

29. മെരാര്യ്യരെയും കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും എണ്ണേണം.

29. The LORD told Moses to take a census of the Levite clan of Merari by subclans and families,

30. മുപ്പതു വയസ്സുമുതല് അമ്പതു വയസ്സുവരെ സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിലെ വേല ചെയ്വാന് സേവയില് പ്രവേശിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാവരെയും നീ എണ്ണേണം.

30. and to register all the men between the ages of thirty and fifty who were qualified to work in the Tent of the LORD's presence.

31. സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില് അവര്ക്കുംള്ള എല്ലാവേലയുടെയും മുറെക്കു അവര് എടുക്കേണ്ടുന്ന ചുമടു എന്തെന്നാല്തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്റെ പലക, അന്താഴം, തൂണ്, ചുവടു,

31. They shall be responsible for carrying the frames, bars, posts, and bases of the Tent,

32. ചുറ്റുമുള്ള പ്രാകാരത്തിന്റെ തൂണ്, ചുവടു, കുറ്റി, കയറു എന്നിവയും അവയുടെ ഉപകരണങ്ങളൊക്കെയും അവ സംബന്ധിച്ചുള്ള എല്ലാ വേലയും തന്നേ; അവര് എടുക്കേണ്ടുന്ന ഉപകരണങ്ങള് നിങ്ങള് പേര്വിവരമായി അവരെ ഏല്പിക്കേണം.

32. and the posts, bases, pegs, and ropes of the court around the Tent, with all the fittings used in setting them up. Each man will be responsible for carrying specific items.

33. പുരോഹിതനായ അഹരോന്റെ മകന് ഈഥാമാരിന്റെ കൈക്കീഴെ സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില് മെരാര്യ്യരുടെ കുടുംബങ്ങള്ക്കുള്ള സകലസേവയുടെയും മുറെക്കു അവര് ചെയ്യേണ്ടുന്ന വേല ഇതു തന്നേ.

33. These are the responsibilities of the Merari clan in their service in the Tent; they shall carry them out under the direction of Ithamar son of Aaron the priest.

34. മോശെയും അഹരോനും സഭയിലെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും മെഹാത്യരില് മുപ്പതു വയസ്സുമുതല് അമ്പതു വയസ്സുവരെ

34. Following the LORD's command, Moses, Aaron, and the leaders of the community took a census of the three Levite clans, Kohath, Gershon, and Merari. They did this by subclans and families and registered all the men between the ages of thirty and fifty who were qualified to work in the Tent of the LORD's presence, as follows: (Clan: Number); Kohath: 2,750; Gershon: 2,630; Merari: 3,200; Total: 8,580

35. സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില് വേല ചെയ്വാന് സേവയില് പ്രവേശിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാവരെയും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും കുലംകുലമായും എണ്ണി.

37. മോശെമുഖാന്തരം യഹോവ കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ മോശെയും അഹരോനും കെഹാത്യകുടുംബങ്ങളില് എണ്ണിയവരായി സമാഗമന കൂടാരത്തില് വേല ചെയ്വാനുള്ളവര് എല്ലാം ഇവര് തന്നേ.

41. യഹോവ കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ മോശെയും അഹരോനും ഗേര്ശോന്യകുടുംബങ്ങളില് എണ്ണിയവരായി സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില് വേല ചെയ്വാനുള്ളവര് എല്ലാം ഇവര് തന്നേ.

44. അവരില് കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായി എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവര് ആകെ മൂവായിരത്തിരുനൂറുപേര്.

45. യഹോവ മോശെമുഖാന്തരം കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ മോശെയും അഹരോനും മെരാര്യ്യ കുടുംബങ്ങളില് എണ്ണിയവര് ഇവര് തന്നേ.

46. മോശെയും അഹരോനും യിസ്രായേല് പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും ലേവ്യരില് കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും കുലംകുലമായും എണ്ണിയവരായി മുപ്പതു വയസ്സുമുതല് അമ്പതുവയസ്സുവരെ

47. സമാഗമന കൂടാരത്തിലെ സേവയും ചുമട്ടുവേലയും ചെയ്വാന് പ്രവേശിച്ചവര് ആകെ

49. യഹോവയുടെ കല്പനപ്രകാരം അവര് മോശെ മുഖാന്തരം ഔരോരുത്തന് താന്താന്റെ വേലക്കും താന്താന്റെ ചുമട്ടിന്നും തക്കവണ്ണം എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടു; യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ച പോലെ അവന് അവരെ എണ്ണി.

49. Each man was registered as the LORD had commanded Moses; and at the command of the LORD given through Moses, each man was assigned responsibility for his task of serving or carrying.
