1. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു

1. Then the Lord said to Moses,

2. നീ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടു പറയേണ്ടതെന്തെന്നാല്ഒരു പുരുഷനാകട്ടെ സ്ത്രീയാകട്ടെ യഹോവേക്കു തന്നെത്താന് സമര്പ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നാസീര്വ്രതം എന്ന വിശേഷ വിധിയായുള്ള വ്രതം ദീക്ഷിക്കുമ്പോള്

2. 'Say to the people of Israel, 'A man or woman may make a special promise, the promise of a Nazirite, to set himself apart to the Lord.

3. വീഞ്ഞും മദ്യവും വര്ജ്ജിച്ചിരിക്കേണംവീഞ്ഞിന്റെ കാടിയും മദ്യത്തിന്റെ കാടിയും കുടിക്കരുതു; മുന്തിരിപ്പഴത്തിന്റെ യാതൊരു രസവും കുടിക്കരുതു; മുന്തിരിങ്ങ പഴുത്തതാകട്ടെ ഉണങ്ങിയതാകട്ടെ തിന്നുകയുമരുതു.

3. Then he must keep away from wine and strong drink. He will drink no sour wine, made from wine or strong drink. He will not drink any grape drink. And he will not eat new or dried grapes.

4. തന്റെ നാസീര്വ്രതകാലത്തു ഒക്കെയും കുരുതൊട്ടു തൊലിവരെ മുന്തിരിങ്ങാകൊണ്ടു ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നതു ഒന്നും അവന് തിന്നരുതു.

4. All the days he is set apart, he must not eat anything made from the grape-field, not even the seeds or the skins.

5. നാസീര്വ്രതകാലത്തൊക്കെയും ക്ഷൌരക്കത്തി അവന്റെ തലയില് തൊടരുതു; യഹോവേക്കു തന്നെത്താന് സമര്പ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന കാലം തികയുവോളം അവന് വിശുദ്ധനായിരിക്കേണംതലമുടി വളര്ത്തേണം.

5. 'No hair of his head will be cut, all the days of his promise to be set apart. He must be holy until the time is finished for which he set himself apart to the Lord. He will let the hair on his head grow long.

6. അവന് യഹോവേക്കു തന്നെത്താന് സമര്പ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന കാലത്തൊക്കെയും ശവത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കല് ചെല്ലരുതു;

6. 'All the days he is set apart to the Lord, he must not go near a dead person.

7. അപ്പന് , അമ്മ, സഹോദരന് , സഹോദരി എന്നിവരില് ആരെങ്കിലും മരിക്കുമ്പോള് അവരാല് അവന് തന്നെത്താന് അശുദ്ധനാകരുതു; അവന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നാസീര്വ്രതം അവന്റെ തലയില് ഇരിക്കുന്നു;

7. He must not allow himself to be made unclean when his father, mother, brother or sister die. For he has made a promise to be set apart to God.

8. നാസീര്വ്രതകാലത്തു ഒക്കെയും അവന് യഹോവേക്കു വിശുദ്ധന് ആകുന്നു.

8. He is holy to the Lord all the days he is set apart.

9. അവന്റെ അടുക്കല്വെച്ചു വല്ലവനും പെട്ടെന്നു മരിക്കയും അവന്റെ നാസീര്വ്രതമുള്ള തലയെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്താല് അവന് തന്റെ ശുദ്ധീകരണദിവസത്തില് തല ക്ഷൌരം ചെയ്യേണം; ഏഴാം ദിവസം അവന് ക്ഷൌരം ചെയ്യേണം.

9. 'But if a man dies next to him, making his hair unclean which had been set apart to the Lord, then he must cut all the hair from his head on the day he is made clean. He will cut it off on the seventh day.

10. എട്ടാം ദിവസം അവന് രണ്ടു കുറുപ്രാവിനെയോ രണ്ടു പ്രാവിന് കുഞ്ഞിനെയോ പുരോഹിതന്റെ അടുക്കല് സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കല് കൊണ്ടുവരേണം.

10. On the eighth day he must bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons to the religious leader, to the door of the meeting tent.

11. പുരോഹിതന് ഒന്നിനെ പാപയാഗമായിട്ടും മറ്റേതിനെ ഹോമയാഗമായിട്ടും അര്പ്പിച്ചു ശവത്താല് അവന് പിഴെച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു അവന്നു വേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിച്ചു അവന്റെ തല അന്നുതന്നേ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കേണം.

11. The religious leader will give one for a sin gift and the other for a burnt gift. He will pay for his sin because of the dead person. And he will make his head holy that same day.

12. അവന് വീണ്ടും തന്റെ നാസീര് വ്രതത്തിന്റെ കാലം യഹോവേക്കു വേര്തിരിച്ചു ഒരു വയസ്സു പ്രായമുള്ള ഒരു ആട്ടിന് കുട്ടിയെ അകൃത്യയാഗമായി കൊണ്ടുവരേണം അവന്റെ നാസീര്വ്രതം അശുദ്ധമായിപ്പോയതുകൊണ്ടു മുമ്പിലത്തെ കാലം തള്ളിപ്പോകേണം.

12. He will set apart to the Lord his days as a Nazirite. And he will bring a year old male lamb for a guilt gift. But the past days will be a loss, because he had become unclean during the time he was set apart.

13. വ്രതസ്ഥന്റെ പ്രമാണം ആവിതുഅവന്റെ നാസീര്വ്രതത്തിന്റെ കാലം തികയുമ്പോള് അവനെ സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കല് കൊണ്ടുവരേണം.

13. 'This is the Law of the Nazirite when the time he is set apart is finished. He must bring the gift to the door of the meeting tent.

14. അവന് യഹോവേക്കു വഴിപാടായി ഹോമയാഗത്തിന്നു ഒരു വയസ്സു പ്രായമുള്ള ഊനമില്ലാത്ത ഒരു ആണാട്ടിന് കുട്ടി, പാപയാഗത്തിന്നു ഒരു വയസ്സു പ്രായമുള്ള ഒരു പെണ്ണാട്ടിന് കുട്ടി, സമാധാനയാഗത്തിന്നു ഊനമില്ലാത്ത ഒരു ആട്ടുകൊറ്റന് ,

14. He will give his gift to the Lord. It will be a perfect male lamb a year old for a burnt gift, one perfect female lamb a year old for a sin gift, and one perfect ram for a peace gift.

15. ഒരു കൊട്ടയില്, എണ്ണചേര്ത്തു നേരിയ മാവുകൊണ്ടുണ്ടാക്കിയ പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത ദോശ, എണ്ണപുരട്ടിയ പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത വട എന്നിവയും അവയുടെ ഭോജനയാഗവും പാനീയയാഗങ്ങളും അര്പ്പിക്കേണം.

15. And he will give a basket of bread made of fine flour mixed with oil, made without yeast. He will give hard bread spread with oil and made without yeast. With them he will give their grain gift and drink gifts.

16. പുരോഹിതന് അവയെ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് കൊണ്ടുവന്നു അവന്റെ പാപയാഗവും ഹോമയാഗവും അര്പ്പിക്കേണം.

16. Then the religious leader will give all these to the Lord and his sin gift and his burnt gift.

17. അവന് ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനെ കൊട്ടയിലെ പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പത്തോടുകൂടെ യഹോവേക്കു സമാധാന യാഗമായി അര്പ്പിക്കേണം; പുരോഹിതന് അതിന്റെ ഭോജനയാഗവും പാനീയയാഗവും കൂടെ അര്പ്പിക്കേണം.

17. He will also give the ram for peace gifts to the Lord, together with the basket of bread made without yeast. Then the religious leader will give its grain gift and drink gift.

18. പിന്നെ വ്രതസ്ഥന് സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കല്വെച്ചു തന്റെ വ്രതമുള്ള തല ക്ഷൌരം ചെയ്തു തന്റെ വ്രതമുള്ള തലമുടി എടുത്തു സമാധാനയാഗത്തിന് കീഴുള്ള തീയില് ഇടേണം;

18. Then at the door of the meeting tent the Nazirite will cut off the hair that has been set apart for holy use. He is to take the hair and put it in the fire under the peace gifts.

19. വ്രതസ്ഥന് തന്റെ വ്രതമുള്ള തല ക്ഷൌരം ചെയ്തശേഷം പുരോഹിതന് ആട്ടുകൊറ്റന്റെ വേവിച്ച കൈക്കുറകും കൊട്ടയില്നിന്നു പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത ഒരു ദോശയും പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത ഒരു വടയും എടുത്തു അവയെ വ്രതസ്ഥന്റെ കൈയില് വെക്കേണം.

19. The religious leader will take the shoulder of the ram when it has been boiled and a loaf of bread and a piece of hard bread, both made without yeast and put them in the hands of the Nazirite. This is done after he has cut off the hair that has been set apart.

20. പുരോഹിതന് അവയെ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് നീരാജനം ചെയ്യേണം; ഇതു നീരാജനം ചെയ്ത നെഞ്ചോടും ഉദര്ച്ച ചെയ്ത കൈക്കുറകോടും കൂടെ പുരോഹിതന്നു വേണ്ടി വിശുദ്ധമാകുന്നു; അതിന്റെ ശേഷം വ്രതസ്ഥന്നു വീഞ്ഞു കുടിക്കാം.

20. The religious leader will wave them for a wave gift before the Lord. They are holy and belong to the religious leader, together with the breast given as a wave gift and the thigh given by lifting it up. After that the Nazirite may drink wine.'

21. നാസീര്വ്രതം ദീക്ഷിക്കുന്ന വ്രതസ്ഥന്റെയും അവന് തന്റെ പ്രാപ്തിപോലെ കൊടുക്കുന്നതു കൂടാതെ തന്റെ നാസീര്വ്രതം ഹേതുവായി യഹോവേക്കു കഴിക്കേണ്ടുന്ന വഴിപാടിന്റെയും പ്രമാണം ഇതു തന്നേ. അവന് ദീക്ഷിച്ച വ്രതംപോലെ തന്റെ നാസീര്വ്രതത്തിന്റെ പ്രമാണത്തിന്നു അനുസരണയായി തന്നേ അവന് ചെയ്യേണം.

21. 'This is the Law of the Nazirite who makes a promise to give to the Lord what he promised as a Nazirite, and whatever else he is able to give. He must do what he has promised by the Law of being set apart as a Nazirite.'

22. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു

22. Then the Lord said to Moses,

23. നീ അഹരോനോടും പുത്രന്മാരോടും പറയേണ്ടതുനിങ്ങള് യിസ്രായേല് മക്കളെ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചു ചൊല്ലേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്

23. 'Say to Aaron and his sons, 'This is the way you should bring good to the people of Israel. Say to them,

24. യഹോവ നിന്നെ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചു കാക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ;

24. 'May the Lord bring good to you and keep you.

25. യഹോവ തിരുമുഖം നിന്റെ മേല് പ്രകാശിപ്പിച്ചു നിന്നോടു കൃപയുള്ളവനാകട്ടെ;

25. May the Lord make His face shine upon you, and be kind to you.

26. യഹോവ തിരുമുഖം നിന്റെ മേല് ഉയര്ത്തി നിനക്കു സമാധാനം നലകുമാറാകട്ടെ.

26. May the Lord show favor toward you, and give you peace.' '

27. ഇങ്ങനെ അവര് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ മേല് എന്റെ നാമം വെക്കേണം; ഞാന് അവരെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കും.

27. So they will put My name upon the people of Israel, and I will bring good to them.' '
