1. അവര് മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു പോന്നതിന്റെ രണ്ടാം സംവത്സരം ഒന്നാം മാസം യഹോവ സീനായിമരുഭൂമിയില്വെച്ചു മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു എന്തെന്നാല്

1. And the Lorde spake vnto Moyses in the wildernesse of Sinai, in the first moneth of the seconde yere, after they were come out of the lande of Egypt, saying:

2. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് പെസഹ അതിന്നു നിശ്ചയിച്ച സമയത്തു ആചരിക്കേണം.

2. Let the children of Israel celebrate the Passouer at the tyme appoynted thervnto:

3. അതിന്നു നിശ്ചയിച്ച സമയമായ ഈ മാസം പതിന്നാലാം തിയ്യതി വൈകുന്നേരം അതു ആചരിക്കേണം; അതിന്റെ എല്ലാചട്ടങ്ങള്ക്കും നിയമങ്ങള്ക്കും അനുസരണയായി നിങ്ങള് അതു ആചരിക്കേണം.

3. Euen ye fourteenth day of this moneth at euen: ye shall kepe it in his season accordyng to all the ceremonies of it, and according to all the maners therof, shall ye kepe it.

4. പെസഹ ആചരിക്കേണമെന്നു മോശെ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടു പറഞ്ഞു.

4. And Moyses spake vnto the children of Israel, that they should celebrate the Passouer.

5. അങ്ങനെ അവര് ഒന്നാം മാസം പതിന്നാലാം തിയ്യതി സന്ധ്യാസമയത്തു സീനായിമരുഭൂമിയില്വെച്ചു പെസഹ ആചരിച്ചു; യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് ചെയ്തു.

5. And they kept the Passouer the foureteenth day of the first moneth at euen in the wildernesse of Sinai: according to all that the Lorde comaunded Moyses, euen so dyd the children of Israel.

6. എന്നാല് ഒരു മനുഷ്യന്റെ ശവത്താല് അശുദ്ധരായിത്തീര്ന്നിട്ടു ആ നാളില് പെസഹ ആചരിപ്പാന് കഴിയാത്ത ചിലര് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവര് അന്നുതന്നേ മോശെയുടെയും അഹരോന്റെയും മുമ്പാകെ വന്നു അവനോടു

6. And certayne men were defiled by a dead man, that they myght not kepe the Passouer the same day, and they came before Moyses & Aaron the same day.

7. ഞങ്ങള് ഒരുത്തന്റെ ശവത്താല് അശുദ്ധരായിരിക്കുന്നു; നിശ്ചയിക്കപ്പെട്ട സമയത്തു യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ ഇടയില് യഹോവയുടെ വഴിപാടു കഴിക്കാതിരിപ്പാന് ഞങ്ങളെ മുടക്കുന്നതു എന്തു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

7. And those men sayde vnto hym, we are defiled by a dead man: wherfore are we kept backe, that we may not offer an offeryng vnto the Lorde in due season, among the children of Israel?

8. മോശെ അവരോടുനില്പിന് ; യഹോവ നിങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു കല്പിക്കുന്നതു എന്തു എന്നു ഞാന് കേള്ക്കട്ടെ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

8. And Moyses sayd vnto them: Stande styll, and I wyll heare what the Lorde wyll commaunde concernyng you.

9. എന്നാറെ യഹോവ മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു.

9. And the Lorde spake vnto Moyses, saying:

10. നീ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്നിങ്ങളിലോ നിങ്ങളുടെ സന്തതികളിലോ വല്ലവനും ശവത്താല് അശുദ്ധനാകയോ ദൂരയാത്രയില് ആയിരിക്കയോ ചെയ്താലും അവന് യഹോവേക്കു പെസഹ ആചരിക്കേണം.

10. Speake vnto the children of Israel, and say: If any man be vncleane by the reason of a coarse, or be in a way farre distaunt from you and from your generations, he shall kepe the Passouer vnto the Lorde.

11. രണ്ടാം മാസം പതിന്നാലാം തിയ്യതി സന്ധ്യാസമയത്തു അവര് അതു ആചരിച്ചു പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പത്തോടും കൈപ്പുചീരയോടും കൂടെ അതു ഭക്ഷിക്കേണം.

11. The fourteenth day of the seconde moneth at euen let them kepe it: and eate it with vnleauened bread, & sowre hearbes.

12. രാവിലത്തേക്കു അതില് ഒന്നും ശേഷിപ്പിച്ചുവെക്കരുതു; അതിന്റെ അസ്ഥിയൊന്നും ഒടിക്കയും അരുതു; പെസഹയുടെ ചട്ടപ്രകാരമൊക്കെയും അവര് അതു ആചരിക്കേണം.

12. Let them leaue none of it vnto the morning, nor breake any bone of it: But accordyng to all the ordinaunce of the Passouer, let them kepe it.

13. എന്നാല് ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനും പ്രയാണത്തില് അല്ലാത്തവനുമായ ഒരുത്തന് പെസഹ ആചരിക്കാതെ വീഴ്ച വരുത്തിയാല് അവനെ അവന്റെ ജനത്തില്നിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണം; നിശ്ചയിച്ച സമയത്തു യഹോവയുടെ വഴിപാടു കഴിക്കായ്കകൊണ്ടു അവന് തന്റെ പാപം വഹിക്കേണം.

13. But the man that is cleane, and is not in a iourney, and yet was negligent to kepe the Passouer: the same soule shalbe cut of from his people, because he brought not the offeryng of the Lorde in his due season, that man shall beare his sinne.

14. നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് വന്നുപാര്ക്കുംന്ന ഒരു പരദേശിക്കു യഹോവയുടെ പെസഹ ആചരിക്കേണമെങ്കില് പെസഹയുടെ ചട്ടത്തിന്നും നിയമത്തിന്നും അനുസരണയായി അവന് ആചരിക്കേണം; പരദേശിക്കാകട്ടെ സ്വദേശിക്കാകട്ടെ നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ഒരു ചട്ടം തന്നേ ആയിരിക്കേണം.

14. And if a straunger dwell among you, and wyll kepe the Passouer vnto the Lorde: accordyng to the ordinance of the Passouer and maner therof, so shall he do. Ye shall haue one lawe both for the straunger, and for hym that was borne in the same lande.

15. തിരുനിവാസം നിവിര്ത്തുനിര്ത്തിയ നാളില് മേഘം സാക്ഷ്യകൂടാരമെന്ന തിരുനിവാസത്തെ മൂടി; സന്ധ്യാസമയംതൊട്ടു രാവിലെവരെ അതു തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്മേല് അഗ്നിപ്രകാശംപോലെ ആയിരുന്നു.

15. And the same day that the tabernacle was reared vp, a cloude couered the tabernacle, [namely] the tabernacle of the testimonie: and at euen, there was vpon the tabernacle, as it were the appearaunce of fire, vntyll the mornyng.

16. അതു എല്ലായ്പോഴും അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ ആയിരുന്നു; പകല് മേഘവും രാത്രി അഗ്നിരൂപവും അതിനെ മൂടിയിരുന്നു.

16. So it was alway: the cloude couered it by day, and the appearaunce of fire by nyght.

17. മേഘം കൂടാരത്തിന്മേല് നിന്നു പൊങ്ങുമ്പോള് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് യാത്ര പുറപ്പെടും; മേഘം നിലക്കുന്നേടത്തു അവര് പാളയമിറങ്ങും.

17. And when the cloude was taken vp from the tabernacle, then the children of, Israel iourneyed: and in the place where the cloude abode, there the children of Israel pitched their tentes.

18. യഹോവയുടെ കല്പനപോലെ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് യാത്ര പുറപ്പെടുകയും യഹോവയുടെ കല്പനപോലെ പാളയമിറങ്ങുകയും ചെയ്തു; മേഘം തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്മേല് നിലക്കുമ്പോള് ഒക്കെയും അവര് പാളയമടിച്ചു താമസിക്കും,

18. At the mouth of the Lorde the childre of Israel iourneyed, and at the mouth of the Lorde they pitched: And as long as the cloude abode vpon the tabernacle, they lay styll:

19. മേഘം തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്മേല് ഏറെനാള് ഇരുന്നു എങ്കില് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് യാത്രപുറപ്പെടാതെ യഹോവയുടെ ആജ്ഞ കാത്തുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കും.

19. And when the cloude taryed styll vpon the tabernacle long tyme, the children of Israel kept the watche of the Lorde, and iourneyed not.

20. ചിലപ്പോള് മേഘം തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്മേല് കുറെനാള് ഇരിക്കും; അപ്പോള് അവര് യഹോവയുടെ കല്പനപോലെ പാളയമിറങ്ങിയിരിക്കും; പിന്നെ യഹോവയുടെ കല്പന പോലെ യാത്ര പുറപ്പെടും.

20. And when the cloude abode a fewe dayes vpon the tabernacle, they abode in their tentes, accordyng to the commaundement of the Lorde: and they iourneyed also at the commaundement of the Lorde.

21. ചിലപ്പോള് മേഘം സന്ധ്യമുതല് ഉഷസ്സുവരെ ഇരിക്കും; ഉഷ:കാലത്തു മേഘം പൊങ്ങി എങ്കില് അവര് യാത്ര പുറപ്പെടും. ചിലപ്പോള് പകലും രാവും ഇരിക്കും; പിന്നെ മേഘം പൊങ്ങിയെങ്കില് അവര് യാത്ര പുറപ്പെടും.

21. And when the cloude abode vpon the tabernacle from euen vnto the mornyng, & was taken vp in the mornyng, then they iourneyed: Whether it was by day or by nyght that the cloude was taken vp, they iourneyed.

22. രണ്ടു ദിവസമോ ഒരു മാസമോ ഒരു സംവത്സരമോ മേഘം തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്മേല് ആവസിച്ചിരുന്നാല് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് പുറപ്പെടാതെ പാളയമടിച്ചു താമസിക്കും; അതു പൊങ്ങുമ്പോഴോ അവര് പുറപ്പെടും.

22. Or if the cloude taryed two dayes, or a moneth, or a yere vpon the tabernacle and remayned theron, the children of Israel remayned styll and iourneyed not: And assoone as the cloude was taken vp, they iourneyed.

23. യഹോവയുടെ കല്പനപോലെ അവര് പാളയമിറങ്ങുകയും യഹോവയുടെ കല്പനപോലെ യാത്ര പുറപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യും; മോശെമുഖാന്തരം യഹോവ കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ അവര് യഹോവയുടെ ആജ്ഞ പ്രമാണിച്ചു.

23. At the mouth of the Lord they rested in the tentes, and at the comaundement of the Lorde they iourneyed, kepyng the watche of the Lorde at the commaundement of the Lord by the hande of Moyses.
