1. പെസഹ എന്ന പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പത്തിന്റെ പെരുനാള് അടുത്തു.

1. The feast of sweet bread drew nigh which is called ester,

2. അപ്പോള് മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരും ശാസ്ത്രിമാരും ജനത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടുകയാല് അവനെ ഒടുക്കുവാന് ഉപായം അന്വേഷിച്ചു.

2. and the high priests, and scribes sought how to kill Jesus,(him) but they feared the people.

3. എന്നാല് പന്തിരുവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില് ഉള്ള ഈസ്കാര്യ്യോത്തായൂദയില് സാത്താന് കടന്നു

3. Then entered Satan into Judas, whose sur name was Iscariot (which was of the number of the twelve)

4. അവന് ചെന്നു മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരോടും പടനായകന്മാരോടും അവനെ അവര്ക്കും കാണിച്ചുകൊടുക്കുന്ന വഴിയെക്കുറിച്ചു സംസാരിച്ചു.

4. and he went his way, and communed with the high priests and officers, how he would(might) betray him to them.

5. അവര് സന്തോഷിച്ചു അവന്നു ദ്രവ്യം കൊടുക്കാം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞൊത്തു.

5. And they were glad: and promised to give him money.

6. അവന് വാക്കു കൊടുത്തു, പുരുഷാരം ഇല്ലാത്ത സമയത്തു അവനെ കാണിച്ചുകൊടുപ്പാന് തക്കം അന്വേഷിച്ചുപോന്നു.

6. And he consented, and sought opportunity to betray him unto them, when the people were away.

7. Then came the day of sweet bread, when of necessity(wherein) the ester lamb must be offered.

8. അവന് പത്രൊസിനെയും യോഹന്നാനെയും അയച്ചുനിങ്ങള് പോയി നമുക്കു പെസഹ കഴിപ്പാന് ഒരുക്കുവിന് എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

8. And he sent Peter, and John saying: Go and prepare us the ester lamb, that we may eat.

9. ഞങ്ങള് എവിടെ ഒരുക്കേണം എന്നു അവര് ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു

9. They said to him. Where wilt thou, that we prepare?

10. നിങ്ങള് പട്ടണത്തില് എത്തുമ്പോള് ഒരു കുടം വെള്ളം ചുമന്നുകൊണ്ടു ഒരു മനുഷ്യന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു എതിര്പെടും; അവന് കടക്കുന്ന വീട്ടിലേക്കു പിന് ചെന്നു വീട്ടുടയവനോടു

10. And he said unto them. Behold as ye enter(when ye be entered) into the city, there shall a man meet you bearing a pitcher of water, him follow into the same house that he entereth in,

11. ഞാന് എന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരുമായി പെസഹ കഴിപ്പാനുള്ള ശാല എവിടെ എന്നു ഗുരു നിന്നോടു ചോദിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറവിന് .

11. and ye shall say unto the good man of the house. The master sayeth: (unto thee) Where is the guest chamber,(guesthouse) where I shall eat mine ester lamb with my disciples?

12. അവന് വിരിച്ചൊരുക്കിയോരു വന്മാളിക കാണിച്ചുതരും; അവിടെ ഒരുക്കുവിന് എന്നു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞു.

12. And he shall shew you a great parlour paved. There make ready.

13. അവര് പോയി തങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ കണ്ടു പെസഹ ഒരുക്കി.

13. (And) They went and found, as he had said unto them: and made ready the ester lamb.

14. സമയം ആയപ്പോള് അവന് അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരുമായി ഭക്ഷണത്തിന്നു ഇരുന്നു.

14. And when the hour came,(was come) he sat down and the twelve apostles with him.

15. അവന് അവരോടുഞാന് കഷ്ടം അനുഭവിക്കും മുമ്പെ ഈ പെസഹ നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ കഴിപ്പാന് വാഞ്ഛയോടെ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചു.

15. And he said unto them: I have inwardly(heartedly) desired to eat this ester lamb with you before that I suffer.

16. അതു ദൈവരാജ്യത്തില് നിവൃത്തിയാകുവോളം ഞാന് ഇനി അതു കഴിക്കയില്ല എന്നു ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു എന്നുപറഞ്ഞു.

16. For I say unto you: henceforth, I will not eat of it any more, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.

17. പിന്നെ പാനപാത്രം എടുത്തു വാഴ്ത്തിഇതു വാങ്ങി പങ്കിട്ടുകൊള്വിന് .

17. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said: Receive(Take) this, and divide it among you.

18. ദൈവരാജ്യം വരുവോളം ഞാന് മുന്തിരിവള്ളിയുടെ അനുഭവം ഇന്നു മുതല് കുടിക്കില്ല എന്നു ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

18. For I say unto you: I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God be come.

19. പിന്നെ അപ്പം എടുത്തു വാഴ്ത്തി നുറുക്കി അവര്ക്കും കൊടുത്തുഇതു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു വേണ്ടി നലകുന്ന എന്റെ ശരീരം; എന്റെ ഔര്മ്മെക്കായി ഇതു ചെയ്വിന് എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

19. And he took bread, gave thanks, and brake it, and gave it unto them, saying: This is my body which is given for you. This do in the remembrance of me.

20. അവ്വണ്ണം തന്നേ അത്താഴം കഴിഞ്ഞശേഷം അവന് പാനപാത്രവും കൊടുത്തുഈ പാനപാത്രം നിങ്ങള്ക്കു വേണ്ടി ചൊരിയുന്ന എന്റെ രക്തത്തിലെ പുതിയ നിയമം ആകുന്നു.

20. Likewise also, when they had supped, he took the cup saying: This is the cup,(This cup is) the new testament, in my blood, which shall for you be shed.

21. എന്നാല് എന്നെ കാണിച്ചുകൊടുക്കുന്നവന്റെ കൈ എന്റെ അരികെ മേശപ്പുറത്തു ഉണ്ടു.
സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 41:9

21. Yet behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me, is with me on the table.

22. നിര്ണ്ണയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ മനുഷ്യപുത്രന് പോകുന്നു സത്യം; എങ്കിലും അവനെ കാണിച്ചു കൊടുക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യന്നു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

22. And the son of man goeth as it is appointed: But woe be to that man by whom he is betrayed.

23. ഇതു ചെയ്വാന് പോകുന്നവന് തങ്ങളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില് ആര് ആയിരിക്കും എന്നു അവര് തമ്മില് തമ്മില് ചോദിച്ചു തുടങ്ങി.

23. And they began to enquire(ask) among themselves, which of them it should be, that should do that.

24. തങ്ങളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില് ആരെ ആകുന്നു വലിയവനായി എണ്ണേണ്ടതു എന്നതിനെച്ചൊല്ലി ഒരു തര്ക്കവും അവരുടെ ഇടയില് ഉണ്ടായി.

24. And there was a strife among them, which of them should seem(be taken for the) greatest.

25. അവനോ അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതുജാതികളുടെ രാജാക്കന്മാര് അവരില് കര്ത്തൃത്വം നടത്തുന്നു; അവരുടെ മേല് അധികാരം നടത്തുന്നവരെ ഉപകാരികള് എന്നു പറയുന്നു.

25. And he said unto them: The kings of the gentiles reign over them;(kings of the world have dominion over the people) And they that bear rule over them, are called gracious lords.

26. നിങ്ങളോ അങ്ങനെയല്ല; നിങ്ങളില് വലിയവന് ഇളയവനെപ്പോലെയും നായകന് ശുശ്രൂഷിക്കുന്നവനെപ്പോലെയും ആകട്ടെ.

26. But ye shall not be so. But he that is greatest among you, shall be as the youngest: And he that is chief, shall be as the minister.(and the chiefest, as a servant)

27. ആരാകുന്നു വലിയവന് ? ഭക്ഷണത്തിന്നിരിക്കുന്നവനോ ശുശ്രൂഷിക്കുന്നവനോ? ഭക്ഷണത്തിന്നിരിക്കുന്നവനല്ലയോ? ഞാനോ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് ശുശ്രൂഷിക്കുന്നവനെപ്പോലെ ആകുന്നു.

27. For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat:(the table) or he that serveth? Is not he that sitteth at meat?(the table) And I am among you, as he that ministereth.

28. നിങ്ങള് ആകുന്നു എന്റെ പരീക്ഷകളില് എന്നോടുകൂടെ നിലനിന്നവര്.

28. Ye are they which have bidden with me in my temptations.

29. എന്റെ പിതാവു എനിക്കു രാജ്യം നിയമിച്ചുതന്നതുപോലെ ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കും നിയമിച്ചു തരുന്നു.

29. And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my father hath appointed to me:

30. നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ രാജ്യത്തില് എന്റെ മേശയിങ്കല് തിന്നുകുടിക്കയും സിംഹാസനങ്ങളില് ഇരുന്നു യിസ്രായേല് ഗോത്രം പന്ത്രണ്ടിനെയും ന്യായം വിധിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

30. that ye may eat, and drink at my table in my kingdom and sit on seats, and judge the twelve tribes of Israel.

31. ശിമോനേ, ശിമോനെ, സാത്താന് നിങ്ങളെ കോതമ്പു പോലെ പാറ്റേണ്ടതിന്നു കല്പന ചോദിച്ചു.
ആമോസ് 9:9

31. And the Lord said: Simon, Simon, behold Satan hath desired you, to sift you, as it were wheat:

32. ഞാനോ നിന്റെ വിശ്വാസം പൊയ്പോകാതിരിപ്പാന് നിനക്കു വേണ്ടി അപേകഷിച്ചു; എന്നാല് നീ ഒരു സമയം തിരിഞ്ഞു വന്നശേഷം നിന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരെ ഉറപ്പിച്ചുകൊള്ക.

32. But I have prayed for thee that thy faith fail not. And when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

33. അവന് അവനോടുകര്ത്താവേ, ഞാന് നിന്നോടുകൂടെ തടവിലാകുവാനും മരിപ്പാനും ഒരുങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

33. And he said unto him. Lord, I am ready to go with thee into prison, and to death.

34. അതിന്നു അവന് പത്രൊസെ, നീ എന്നെ അറിയുന്നില്ല എന്നു മൂന്നുവട്ടം തള്ളിപ്പറയുംമുമ്പെ ഇന്നു കോഴി ക്കുകുകയില്ല എന്നു ഞാന് നിന്നോടു പറയുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

34. And he said: I tell thee Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, till thou have thrice denied that thou knewest me.

35. പിന്നെ അവന് അവരോടുഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ മടിശ്ശീലയും പൊക്കണവും ചെരിപ്പും കൂടാതെ അയച്ചപ്പോള് വല്ല കുറവുമുണ്ടായോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നുഒരു കുറവുമുണ്ടായില്ല എന്നു അവര് പറഞ്ഞു.

35. And he said unto them: when I sent you without wallet, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye anything? And they said, nothing.(no.)

36. അവന് അവരോടുഎന്നാല് ഇപ്പോള് മടിശ്ശീലയുള്ളവന് അതു എടുക്കട്ടെ; അവ്വണ്ണം തന്നേ പൊക്കണമുള്ളവനും; ഇല്ലാത്തവനോ തന്റെ വസ്ത്രം വിറ്റു വാള് കൊള്ളട്ടെ.

36. And he said to them: But now he that hath a wallet let him take it, (up) and likewise his scrip. And he that hath no sword, let him sell his coat and buy one.

37. അവനെ അധര്മ്മികളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില് എണ്ണി എന്നു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നതിന്നു ഇനി എന്നില് നിവൃത്തിവരേണം എന്നു ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു; എന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നതിന്നു നിവൃത്തി വരുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
യെശയ്യാ 53:12

37. (For) I say unto you that yet, that which is written must be performed in(fulfilled on) me (Even with the wicked was he numbered) for those things which are written of me have an end.

38. കര്ത്താവേ, ഇവിടെ രണ്ടു വാള് ഉണ്ടു എന്നു അവര് പറഞ്ഞതിന്നുമതി എന്നു അവന് അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞു.

38. And they said: Lord, behold here are two swords. And he said unto them: it is enough.

39. പിന്നെ അവന് പതിവുപോലെ ഒലീവ് മലെക്കു പുറപ്പെട്ടുപോയി; ശിഷ്യന്മാരും അവനെ അനുഗമിച്ചു.

39. And he came out, and went as he was wont to mount Olivete. And the disciples followed him.

40. ആ സ്ഥലത്തു എത്തിയപ്പോള് അവന് അവരോടുനിങ്ങള് പരീക്ഷയില് അകപ്പെടാതിരിപ്പാന് പ്രാര്ത്ഥിപ്പിന് എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

40. And when he came to the place, he said to them: Pray lest ye fall into temptation.

41. താന് അവരെ വിട്ടു ഒരു കല്ലേറുദൂരത്തോളം വാങ്ങിപ്പോയി മുട്ടുകുത്തി;

41. And he gat himself from them, about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,

42. പിതാവേ, നിനക്കു മനസ്സുണ്ടെങ്കില് ഈ പാനപാത്രം എങ്കല് നിന്നു നീക്കേണമേ; എങ്കിലും എന്റെ ഇഷ്ടമല്ല നിന്റെ ഇഷ്ടംതന്നെയാകട്ടെ എന്നു പ്രാര്ത്ഥിച്ചു.

42. saying: Father if thou wilt, withdraw this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will; But thine be fulfilled.

43. അവനെ ശക്തിപ്പെടുത്തുവാന് സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില് നിന്നു ഒരു ദൂതന് അവന്നു പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി.

43. And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, comforting him.

44. പിന്നെ അവന് പ്രാണവേദനയിലായി അതിശ്രദ്ധയോടെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥിച്ചു; അവന്റെ വിയര്പ്പു നിലത്തു വീഴുന്ന വലിയ ചോരത്തുള്ളിപോലെ ആയി.

44. And he was in agony, and prayed somewhat longer.(And it came so, that he wrestled with death and prayed the longer) And his sweat was like drops of blood, trickling(running) down to the ground.

45. അവന് പ്രാര്തഥന കഴിഞ്ഞു എഴുന്നേറ്റു ശിഷ്യന്മാരുടെ അടുക്കല് ചെന്നു, അവര് വിഷാദത്താല് ഉറങ്ങുന്നതു കണ്ടു അവരോടു

45. And he rose up from prayer, and came to his disciples, and found them sleeping for sorrow,(heaviness)

46. നിങ്ങള് ഉറങ്ങുന്നതു എന്തു? പരീക്ഷയില് അകപ്പെടാതിരപ്പാന് എഴുന്നേറ്റു പ്രാര്ത്ഥിപ്പിന് എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

46. and said unto them: Why sleep ye? Rise, and pray lest ye fall into temptation.(rise up and pray, that ye fall not into temptation)

47. അവന് സംസാരിക്കുമ്പോള് തന്നേ ഇതാ, ഒരു പുരുഷാരം; പന്തിരുവരില് ഒരുവനായ യൂദാ അവര്ക്കും മുന്നടന്നു യേശുവിനെ ചുംബിപ്പാന് അടുത്തുവന്നു.

47. While he yet spake: behold, there came a company,(multitude) and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and pressed nigh unto Jesus to kiss him.

48. യേശു അവനോടുയൂദയേ, മനുഷ്യപുത്രനെ ചുംബനംകൊണ്ടോ കാണിച്ചുകൊടുക്കുന്നതു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

48. (And) Jesus said unto him: Judas betrayest thou the son of man with a kiss?

49. സംഭവിപ്പാന് പോകുന്നതു അവന്റെ കൂടെയുള്ളവര് കണ്ടുകര്ത്താവേ, ഞങ്ങള് വാള്കൊണ്ടു വെട്ടേണമോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

49. When they which were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him. Lord, shall we smite with a sword.

50. അവരില് ഒരുത്തന് മഹാപുരോഹിതന്റെ ദാസനെ വെട്ടി അവന്റെ വലത്തെ കാതു അറുത്തു.

50. And one of them smote a servant of him which was the chief(hiest) priest of all, and smote off his right ear.

51. അപ്പോള് യേശു; ഇത്രെക്കു വിടുവിന് എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവന്റെ കാതു തൊട്ടു സൌഖ്യമാക്കി.

51. (And) Jesus answered and said: Suffer ye thus far forth. And he touched his ear, and healed him.

52. യേശു തന്റെ നേരെ വന്ന മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരോടും ദൈവാലയത്തിലെ പടനായകന്മാരോടും മൂപ്പന്മാരോടുംഒരു കള്ളന്റെ നേരെ എന്നപോലെ നിങ്ങള് വാളും വടിയുമായി പുറപ്പെട്ടുവന്നുവോ?

52. (Then) Jesus said unto the high priests and rulers of the temple and the seniors(elders) which were come to him. Be ye come out, as unto a thief with swords and staves?

53. ഞാന് ദിവസേന ദൈവാലയത്തില് നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ഇരുന്നിട്ടും എന്റെ നേരെ കൈ ഔങ്ങിയില്ല; എന്നാല് ഇതു നിങ്ങളുടെ നാഴികയും ഇരുളിന്റെ അധികാരവും ആകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

53. When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched not forth hands against me. But this is even your very hour, and the power of darkness.

54. അവര് അവനെ പിടിച്ചു മഹാപുരോഹിതന്റെ വീട്ടില് കൊണ്ടുപോയി; പത്രൊസും അകലം വിട്ടു പിന് ചെന്നു.

54. Then took they him, and led him, and brought him to the high priest's house. And Peter followed afar off.

55. അവര് നടുമുറ്റത്തിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യേ തീ കത്തിച്ചു ഒന്നിച്ചിരുന്നപ്പോള് പത്രൊസും അവരുടെ ഇടയില് ഇരുന്നു.

55. When they had kindled a fire in the midst of the palace, and were set down together, Peter also sat down among them.

56. അവന് തീവെട്ടത്തിന്നടുക്കെ ഇരിക്കുന്നതു ഒരു ബാല്യക്കാരത്തി കണ്ടു അവനെ ഉറ്റു നോക്കിഇവനും അവനോടുകൂടെ ആയിരുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

56. And one of the wenches, as he sat, beheld him by the light(fire) and set good eyesight on him, and said: This same was also with him.

57. അവനോ; സ്ത്രിയേ, ഞാന് അവനെ അറിയുന്നില്ല എന്നു തള്ളിപ്പറഞ്ഞു.

57. Then he denied him saying: Woman I know him not.

58. കുറഞ്ഞോന്നു കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു മറ്റൊരുവന് അവനെ കണ്ടുനീയും അവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിലുള്ളവന് എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; പത്രൊസോമനുഷ്യാ, ഞാന് അല്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

58. And after a little while, another saw him and said: Thou art also of them. And Peter said: Man I am not.

59. ഏകദേശം ഒരു മണി നേരം കഴിഞ്ഞാറെ വേറൊരുവന് ഇവനും അവനോടുകൂടെ ആയിരുന്നു സത്യം; ഇവന് ഗലീലക്കാരനല്ലോ എന്നു നിഷ്കര്ഷിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു.

59. And about the space of an hour after another affirmed saying: Verily even this fellow was with him, for he is of Galilee;

60. മനുഷ്യാ, നീ പറയുന്നതു എനിക്കു തിരിയുന്നില്ല എന്നു പത്രൊസ് പറഞ്ഞു. അവന് സംസാരിക്കുമ്പോള് തന്നേ പെട്ടെന്നു കോഴി ക്കുകി.

60. (And) Peter said: Man I wot not what thou sayest. And immediately while he yet spake, the cock crew.

61. അപ്പോള് കര്ത്താവു തിരിഞ്ഞു പത്രൊസിനെ ഒന്നു നോക്കിഇന്നു കോഴി ക്കുകുംമുമ്പെ നീ മൂന്നുവട്ടം എന്നെ തള്ളിപ്പറയും എന്നു കര്ത്താവു തന്നോടു പറഞ്ഞ വാക്കു പത്രൊസു ഔര്ത്തു

61. And the Lord turned back and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the words of the Lord, how he said unto him, before the cock crow thou shalt deny me thrice.

62. പുറത്തിറങ്ങി അതിദുഃഖത്തോട കരഞ്ഞു.

62. And Peter went out, and wept bitterly.

63. യേശുവിനെ പിടിച്ചവര് അവനെ പരിഹസിച്ചു കണ്ണുകെട്ടി തല്ലി

63. And the men that stood about Jesus, mocked him, and smote(stroke) him,

64. പ്രവചിക്ക; നിന്നെ അടിച്ചവന് ആര് എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു

64. and blindfolded him, and smote his face. And asked him saying: Areed(Prophecy) who it is that smote thee?

65. മറ്റു പലതും അവനെ ദുഷിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു.

65. And many other things despitefully(blasphemies) said they against him.

66. നേരം വെളുത്തപ്പോള് ജനത്തിന്റെ മൂപ്പന്മാരായ മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരും ശാസ്ത്രിമാരും വന്നുകൂടി അവനെ ന്യായാധിപസംഘത്തില് വരുത്തിനീ ക്രിസ്തു എങ്കില് ഞങ്ങളോടു പറക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

66. And as soon as it was day, the seniors(elders) of the people, and the high priests and scribes, came together, and led him into their council saying:

67. അവന് അവരോടുഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞാല് നിങ്ങള് വിശ്വസിക്കയില്ല;

67. Art thou very Christ? tell us. And he said unto them: if I shall tell you, ye will not believe.

68. ഞാന് ചോദിച്ചാല് ഉത്തരം പറയുകയുമില്ല.

68. And if also I ask you, ye will not answer me. Neither(or) let me go.

69. എന്നാല് ഇന്നുമുതല് മനുഷ്യ പുത്രന് ദൈവശക്തിയുടെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു ഇരിക്കും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

69. Hereafter shall the son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God.

70. എന്നാല് നീ ദൈവപുത്രന് തന്നെയോ എന്നു എല്ലാവരും ചോദിച്ചതിന്നുനിങ്ങള് പറയുന്നതു ശരി; ഞാന് ആകുന്നു എന്നു അവന് പറഞ്ഞു.

70. Then said they all: Art thou then the son of God? He said: (to them) ye say that I am.

71. അപ്പോള് അവര് ഇനി സാക്ഷ്യംകൊണ്ടു നമുക്കു എന്തു ആവശ്യം? നാം തന്നേ അവന്റെ വാമൊഴി കേട്ടുവല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

71. Then said they: What need we any further witness? We ourselves have heard of his own mouth.
