1. അതുകൊണ്ടു ഇപ്പോള് ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിലുള്ളവര്ക്കും ഒരു ശിക്ഷാവിധിയും ഇല്ല.

1. Hence there is now, no, condemnation unto them who are in Christ Jesus;

2. ജീവന്റെ ആത്മാവിന്റെ പ്രമാണം എനിക്കു പാപത്തിന്റെയും മരണത്തിന്റെയും പ്രമാണത്തില്നിന്നു ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവില് സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം വരുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

2. For, the-law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus, hath set thee free from the law of sin and of death;

3. ജഡത്താലുള്ള ബലഹീനതനിമിത്തം ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്നു കഴിയാഞ്ഞതിനെ (സാധിപ്പാന് ) ദൈവം തന്റെ പുത്രനെ പാപജഡത്തിന്റെ സാദൃശ്യത്തിലും പാപം നിമിത്തവും അയച്ചു, പാപത്തിന്നു ജഡത്തില് ശിക്ഷ വിധിച്ചു.

3. For, what was impossible by the law in that it was weak through the flesh, God, by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and concerning sin, condemned sin in the flesh,

4. ജഡത്തെയല്ല ആത്മാവിനെ അത്രേ അനുസരിച്ചു നടക്കുന്ന നമ്മില് ന്യായ പ്രമാണത്തിന്റെ നീതി നിവൃത്തിയാകേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ.

4. In order that, the righteous requirement of the law, might be fulfilled in us who, not according to flesh, do walk, but according to spirit;

5. ജഡസ്വഭാവമുള്ളവര് ജഡത്തിന്നുള്ളതും ആത്മസ്വഭാവമുള്ളവര് ആത്മാവിന്നുള്ളതും ചിന്തിക്കുന്നു.

5. For, they who according to flesh have their being, the things of the flesh do prefer, but, they according to the spirit, the things of the spirit;

6. ജഡത്തിന്റെ ചിന്ത മരണം; ആത്മാവിന്റെ ചിന്തയോ ജീവനും സമാധാനവും തന്നേ.

6. For, what is preferred by the flesh, is death, whereas, what is preferred by the spirit, is life and peace;

7. ജഡത്തിന്റെ ചിന്ത ദൈവത്തോടു ശത്രുത്വം ആകുന്നു; അതു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്നു കീഴ്പെടുന്നില്ല, കീഴ്പെടുവാന് കഴിയുന്നതുമില്ല.

7. Inasmuch as, what is preferred by the flesh, is hostile towards God, for, unto the law of God, it doth not submit itself, neither in fact can it.

8. ജഡസ്വഭാവമുള്ളവര്ക്കും ദൈവത്തെ പ്രസാദിപ്പിപ്പാന് കഴിവില്ല.

8. They, moreover, who in flesh have their being, cannot please, God.

9. നിങ്ങളോ, ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആത്മാവു നിങ്ങളില് വസിക്കുന്നു എന്നു വരികില് ജഡസ്വഭാവമുള്ളവരല്ല ആത്മസ്വഭാവമുള്ളവരത്രേ, ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ആത്മാവില്ലാത്തവന് അവന്നുള്ളവനല്ല.

9. But, ye, have not your being in flesh, but in spirit, if at least, God's Spirit, dwelleth in you; and, if anyone hath not Christ's Spirit, the same, is not his;

10. ക്രിസ്തു നിങ്ങളില് ഉണ്ടെങ്കിലോ ശരീരം പാപംനിമിത്തം മരിക്കേണ്ടതെങ്കിലും ആത്മാവു നീതിനിമിത്തം ജീവനാകുന്നു .

10. But, if Christ is in you, the body, indeed, is dead by reason of sin, whereas, the spirit, is life by reason of righteousness;

11. യേശുവിനെ മരിച്ചവരില്നിന്നു ഉയിര്പ്പിച്ചവന്റെ ആത്മാവു നിങ്ങളില് വസിക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിനെ മരണത്തില്നിന്നു ഉയിര്പ്പിച്ചവന് നിങ്ങളില് വസിക്കുന്ന തന്റെ ആത്മാവിനെക്കൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളുടെ മര്ത്യശരീരങ്ങളെയും ജീവിപ്പിക്കും.

11. If, moreover, the Spirit of him that raised Jesus from among the dead dwelleth in you, he that raised from among the dead Christ Jesus, shall make alive even your death-doomed bodies, through means of his indwelling Spirit within you.

12. ആകയാല് സഹോദരന്മാരേ, നാം ജഡത്തെ അനുസരിച്ചു ജീവിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ജഡത്തിന്നല്ല കടക്കാരാകുന്നതു.

12. Hence, then, brethren debtors, we are, not unto the flesh, that, according to flesh, we should live,

13. നിങ്ങള് ജഡത്തെ അനുസരിച്ചു ജീവിക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് മരിക്കും നിശ്ചയം; ആത്മാവിനാല് ശരീരത്തിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ മരിപ്പിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിലോ നിങ്ങള് ജീവിക്കും.

13. For, if according to flesh ye live, ye are about to die, whereas, if in spirit, the practices of the flesh, ye are putting to death, ye shall attain unto life;

14. ദൈവാത്മാവു നടത്തുന്നവര് ഏവരും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മക്കള് ആകുന്നു.

14. For, as many as by God's Spirit are being led, the same, are God's sons,

15. നിങ്ങള് പിന്നെയും ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നു ദാസ്യത്തിന്റെ ആത്മാവിനെ അല്ല; നാം അബ്ബാ പിതാവേ, എന്നു വിളിക്കുന്ന പുത്രത്വത്തിന് ആത്മാവിനെ അത്രേ പ്രാപിച്ചതു.

15. For ye have not received a spirit of servitude, leading back into fear, but ye have received a spirit of sonship, whereby we are exclaiming Abba! Oh Father!

16. നാം ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മക്കള് എന്നു ആത്മാവുതാനും നമ്മുടെ ആത്മാവോടുകൂടെ സാക്ഷ്യം പറയുന്നു.

16. The Spirit itself, beareth witness together with our spirit that we are children of God;

17. നാം മക്കള് എങ്കിലോ അവകാശികളും ആകുന്നു; ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അവകാശികളും ക്രിസ്തുവിന്നു കൂട്ടവകാശികളും തന്നേ; നാം അവനോടുകൂടെ തേജസ്കരിക്കപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നു അവനോടുകൂടെ കഷ്ടമനുഭവിച്ചാലത്രേ.

17. And, if children, heirs also heirs, indeed, of God, but co-heirs with Christ, if, at least, we are suffering together, in order that we may also be glorified together.

18. നമ്മില് വെളിപ്പെടുവാനുള്ള തേജസ്സു വിചാരിച്ചാല് ഈ കാലത്തിലെ കഷ്ടങ്ങള് സാരമില്ല എന്നു ഞാന് എണ്ണുന്നു.

18. For I reckon that unworthy are the sufferings of the present season to be compared with the glory about to be revealed towards us;

19. സൃഷ്ടി ദൈവപുത്രന്മാരുടെ വെളിപ്പാടിനെ ആകാംക്ഷയോടെ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

19. For, the eager outlook of creation, ardently awaiteth the revealing of the sons of God,

20. സൃഷ്ടി ദ്രവത്വത്തിന്റെ ദാസ്യത്തില്നിന്നു വിടുതലും ദൈവമക്കളുടെ തേജസ്സാകുന്ന സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യവും പ്രാപിക്കും എന്നുള്ള ആശയോടെ മായെക്കു കീഴ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു;

20. For, unto vanity, hath creation been made subject not by choice, but by reason of him that made it subject, in hope

21. മന:പൂര്വ്വമായിട്ടല്ല, അതിനെ കീഴ്പെടുത്തിയവന്റെ കല്പനനിമിത്തമത്രേ.

21. That, creation itself also, shall be freed from the bondage of the decay into the freedom of the glory of the sons of God;

22. സര്വ്വസൃഷ്ടിയും ഇന്നുവരെ ഒരുപോലെ ഞരങ്ങി ഈറ്റുനോവോടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നാം അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ.

22. For we know that, all creation, is sighing together, and travailing-in-birth-throes together until the present,

23. ആത്മാവെന്ന ആദ്യ ദാനം ലഭിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന നാമും നമ്മുടെ ശരീരത്തിന്റെ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പായ പുത്രത്വത്തിന്നു കാത്തുകൊണ്ടു ഉള്ളില് ഞരങ്ങുന്നു.

23. And, not only so, but, we ourselves, also, who have the first-fruit of the Spirit we even ourselves, within our own selves do sigh, sonship ardently awaiting the redeeming of our body;

24. പ്രത്യാശയാലല്ലാ നാം രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടിരിക്കുന്നതു. കാണുന്ന പ്രത്യാശയോ പ്രത്യാശയല്ല; ഒരുത്തന് കാണുന്നതിന്നായി ഇനി പ്രത്യാശിക്കുന്നതു എന്തിന്നു?

24. For, by our hope, have we been saved, but, hope beheld, is not hope, for, what one beholdeth, why doth he hope for?

25. നാം കാണാത്തതിന്നായി പ്രത്യാശിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിലോ അതിന്നായി ക്ഷമയോടെ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

25. If, however, what we do not behold we hope for, with endurance, are we ardently awaiting it ;

26. അവ്വണ്ണം തന്നേ ആത്മാവു നമ്മുടെ ബലഹീനതെക്കു തുണനിലക്കുന്നു. വേണ്ടുംപോലെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നു നാം അറിയുന്നില്ലല്ലോ. ആത്മാവു തന്നേ ഉച്ചരിച്ചു കൂടാത്ത ഞരക്കങ്ങളാല് നമുക്കു വേണ്ടി പക്ഷവാദം ചെയ്യുന്നു.

26. In the selfsame way moreover, even the Spirit, helpeth together in our weakness, for, what we should pray for as we ought, we know not, but, the Spirit itself, maketh intercession with sighings unutterable,

27. എന്നാല് ആത്മാവു വിശുദ്ധര്ക്കും വേണ്ടി ദൈവഹിതപ്രകാരം പക്ഷവാദം ചെയ്യുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു ആത്മാവിന്റെ ചിന്ത ഇന്നതെന്നു ഹൃദയങ്ങളെ പരിശോധിക്കുന്നവന് അറിയുന്നു.

27. And, he that searcheth the hearts, knoweth what is preferred by the Spirit that, according to God, he maketh intercession in behalf of saints;

28. എന്നാല് ദൈവത്തെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവര്ക്കും, നിര്ണ്ണയപ്രകാരം വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ടവര്ക്കും തന്നേ, സകലവും നന്മെക്കായി കൂടി വ്യാപരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നാം അറിയുന്നു.

28. We know, further, that, unto them who love God, God causeth all things to work together for good, unto them who, according to purpose, are such as he hath called;

29. അവന് മുന്നറിഞ്ഞവരെ തന്റെ പുത്രന് അനേകം സഹോദരന്മാരില് ആദ്യജാതന് ആകേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന്റെ സ്വരൂപത്തോടു അനുരൂപരാകുവാന് മുന്നിയമിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

29. For, whom he fore-approved, he also fore-appointed to be conformed unto the image of his Son, that he might be firstborn among many brethren,

30. മുന്നിയമിച്ചവരെ വിളിച്ചും വിളിച്ചവരെ നീതീകരിച്ചും നീതീകരിച്ചവരെ തേജസ്കരിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

30. And, whom he fore-appointed, the same, he also called, and, whom he called, the same, he also declared righteous, and, whom he declared righteous, the same, he also made glorious:

31. ഇതു സംബന്ധിച്ചു നാം എന്തു പറയേണ്ടു? ദൈവം നമുക്കു അനുകൂലം എങ്കില് നമുക്കു പ്രതിക്കുലം ആര്?
സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 118:6

31. What, then, shall we say to a these things? If God is for us, who shall be against us?

32. സ്വന്തപുത്രനെ ആദരിക്കാതെ നമുക്കു എല്ലാവര്ക്കും വേണ്ടി ഏല്പിച്ചുതന്നവന് അവനോടുകൂടെ സകലവും നമുക്കു നല്കാതിരിക്കുമോ?

32. He, at least, who his own Son did not spare, but in behalf of us all delivered him up, how shall he not also, with him, all things upon us in favour bestow?

33. ദൈവം തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തവരെ ആര് കുറ്റം ചുമത്തും? നീതീകരിക്കുന്നവന് ദൈവം.
യെശയ്യാ 50:8

33. Who shall bring an accusation against the chosen ones of God? God, who declareth righteous?

34. ശിക്ഷവിധിക്കുന്നവന് ആര്? ക്രിസ്തുയേശു മരിച്ചവന് ; മരിച്ചിട്ടു ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റവന് തന്നേ; അവന് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തിരിക്കയും നമുക്കുവേണ്ടി പക്ഷവാദം കഴിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

34. Who is he that condemneth? Christ Jesus who died? Nay! rather was raised from among the dead , who is on the right hand of God, who also is making intercession in our behalf?

35. ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ സ്നേഹത്തില്നിന്നു നമ്മെ വേര്പിരിക്കുന്നതാര്? കഷ്ടതയോ സങ്കടമോ ഉപദ്രവമോ പട്ടിണിയോ നഗ്നതയോ ആപത്തോ വാളോ?

35. Who shall separate us from the love of the Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

36. “നിന്റെ നിമിത്തം ഞങ്ങളെ ഇടവിടാതെ കൊല്ലുന്നു; അറുപ്പാനുള്ള ആടുകളെപ്പൊലെ ഞങ്ങളെ എണ്ണുന്നു” എന്നു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

36. According as it is written For thy sake, are we being put to death all the day long, we have been reckoned as sheep for slaughter.

37. നാമോ നമ്മെ സ്നേഹിച്ചവന് മുഖാന്തരം ഇതില് ഒക്കെയും പൂര്ണ്ണജയം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു.

37. Nay, in all these things, we are more than conquering through him that hath loved us.

38. മരണത്തിന്നോ ജീവന്നോ ദൂതന്മാര്ക്കോ വാഴ്ചകള്ക്കോ അധികാരങ്ങള്ക്കോ ഇപ്പോഴുള്ളതിന്നോ വരുവാനുള്ളതിന്നോ ഉയരത്തിന്നോ ആഴത്തിന്നോ മറ്റു യാതൊരു സൃഷ്ടിക്കോ

38. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor messengers nor principalities, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers,

39. നമ്മുടെ കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിലുള്ള ദൈവസ്നേഹത്തില് നിന്നു നമ്മെ വേറുപിരിപ്പാന് കഴികയില്ല എന്നു ഞാന് ഉറെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

39. Nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
