1. വിശുദ്ധന്മാര്ക്കും വേണ്ടി നടത്തുന്ന ദ്രവ്യശേഖരത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു എഴുതുവാന് ആവശ്യമില്ലല്ലോ.

1. Of the ministryng to the saintes, it is but superfluous for me to write vnto you:

2. അഖായ കിഴാണ്ടുമുതല് ഒരുങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു മക്കെദോന്യരോടു പ്രശംസിച്ചുവരുന്ന നിങ്ങളുടെ മനസ്സൊരുക്കം ഞാന് അറിയുന്നു; നിങ്ങളുടെ എരിവു മിക്കപേര്ക്കും ഉത്സാഹകാരണമായിത്തീര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

2. For I knowe the redinesse of your mynde, whereof I boast my selfe of you, vnto them of Macedonia, that Achaia was prepared a yere a go: and your zeale hath prouoked many.

3. നിങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു ഞങ്ങള് പറയുന്ന പ്രശംസ ഈ കാര്യ്യത്തില് വ്യര്ത്ഥമാകാതെ ഞാന് പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ നിങ്ങള് ഒരുങ്ങിയിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ ഞാന് സഹോദരന്മാരേ അയച്ചതു.

3. Yet haue I sent the brethren, lest our boastyng which I make of you, should be in vayne in this behalfe, that ye (as I haue sayde) may prepare your selues.

4. അല്ലെങ്കില് പക്ഷെ മക്കെദോന്യര് എന്നോടുകൂടെ വരികയും നിങ്ങളെ ഒരുങ്ങാത്തവരായി കാണുകയും ചെയ്താല് നിങ്ങള് എന്നല്ല ഞങ്ങള് തന്നേ ഈ അതിധൈര്യ്യം നിമിത്തം ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകുമല്ലോ.

4. Lest yf they of Macedonia come with me, and fynde you vnprepared, we (I wyll not say you) shoulde be ashamed in this matter of boastyng.

5. ആകയാല് സഹോദരന്മാര് ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു മുമ്പായി അങ്ങോട്ടു വരികയും നിങ്ങള് മുമ്പെ വാഗ്ദത്തം ചെയ്ത അനുഗ്രഹം പിശുക്കായിട്ടല്ല അനുഗ്രഹമായിട്ടു ഒരുങ്ങിയിരിപ്പാന് തക്കവണ്ണം മുമ്പുകൂട്ടി ഒരുക്കിവെക്കയും ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു അവരോടു അപേക്ഷിപ്പാന് ആവശ്യം എന്നു ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു തോന്നി.

5. Therfore, I thought it necessarie to exhort the brethren, to come beforehand vnto you, and to prepare your good blessyng promised afore, that it myght be redy, so that it be as a blessyng, and not a defraudyng.

6. എന്നാല് ലോഭമായി വിതെക്കുന്നവന് ലോഭമായി കൊയ്യും; ധാരാളമായി വിതെക്കുന്നവന് ധാരളമായി കൊയ്യും എന്നു ഔര്ത്തുകൊള്വിന് .

6. This yet [I say] he which soweth litle, shall reape litle: and he that soweth in geuyng largely and freely, shall reape plenteouslie.

7. അവനവന് ഹൃദയത്തില് നിശ്ചയിച്ചതുപോലെ കൊടുക്കട്ടെ. സങ്കടത്തോടെ അരുതു; നിര്ബ്ബന്ധത്താലുമരുതു; സന്തോഷത്തോടെ കൊടുക്കുന്നവനെ ദൈവം സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു.

7. Let euery man do, accordyng as he hath purposed in his heart, not grudgyngly, or of necessitie: For God loueth a chearefull geuer.

8. നിങ്ങള് സകലത്തിലും എപ്പോഴും പൂര്ണ്ണതൃപ്തിയുള്ളവരായി സകല സല്പ്രവൃത്തിയിലും പെരുകി വരുമാറു നിങ്ങളില് സകലകൃപയും പെരുക്കുവാന് ദൈവം ശക്തന് ആകുന്നു.

8. God is able to make you riche in all grace, that ye in all thynges hauyng sufficient vnto the vtmost, may be riche vnto all maner of good workes,

9. “അവന് വാരിവിതറി ദരിദ്രന്മാര്ക്കും കൊടുക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ നീതി എന്നേക്കും നിലനിലക്കുന്നു” എന്നു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

9. As it is written: He hath sparsed abrode, and hath geuen to the poore, his ryghteousnesse remayneth for euer.

10. എന്നാല് വിതെക്കുന്നവന്നു വിത്തും ഭക്ഷിപ്പാന് ആഹാരവും നലകുന്നവന് നിങ്ങളുടെ വിതയും നല്കി പൊലിപ്പിക്കയും നിങ്ങളുടെ നീതിയുടെ വിളവു വര്ദ്ധിപ്പിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

10. He that ministreth seede vnto ye sower, ministreth bread also for foode, and multiplieth your seede, and encreaseth the fruites of your ryghteousnesse:

11. ഇങ്ങനെ ദൈവത്തിന്നു ഞങ്ങളാല് സ്തോത്രം വരുവാന് കാരണമായിരിക്കുന്ന ഔദാര്യ്യം ഒക്കെയും കാണിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങള് സകലത്തിലും സമ്പന്നന്മാര് ആകും.

11. That in all thynges ye may be made riche into all singlenesse, which causeth through vs, that thankes are geuen vnto God.

12. ഈ നടത്തുന്ന ധര്മ്മശേഖരം വിശുദ്ധന്മാരുടെ ബദ്ധിമുട്ടു തീര്ക്കുംന്നതുമല്ലാതെ ദൈവത്തിന്നു അനവധി സ്തോത്രം വരുവാന് കാരണവും ആകുന്നു.

12. For the administration of this seruice, not only supplieth ye neede of the saintes: but also is aboundaunt by the thankes geuyng of many vnto God,

13. ഈ സഹായത്താല് തെളിയുന്ന സിദ്ധത ഹേതുവായി ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ സുവിശേഷം നിങ്ങള് സ്വീകരിച്ച അനുസരണംനിമിത്തവും അവരോടും എല്ലാവരോടും നിങ്ങള് കാണിക്കുന്ന കൂട്ടായ്മയുടെ ഔദാര്യ്യം നിമിത്തവും അവര് ദൈവത്തെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തും.

13. Which by the experiment of this ministration, prayse God for the obedience of your consentyng to the Gospell of Christe, and for your singlenesse in distributyng to them, and to all men:

14. നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ലഭിച്ച അതിമഹത്തായ ദൈവകൃപനിമിത്തം അവര് നിങ്ങളെ കാണ്മാന് വാഞ്ഛിച്ചു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു വേണ്ടി പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കും.

14. And by their prayers for you, which long after you, for the aboundaunt grace of God in you.

15. പറഞ്ഞുതീരാത്ത ദാനം നിമിത്തം ദൈവത്തിന്നു സ്തോത്രം.
