1. പൌലൊസും സില്വാനൊസും തിമൊഥെയൊസും പിതാവായ ദൈവത്തിലും കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിലുമുള്ള തെസ്സലൊനീക്യസഭെക്കു എഴുതുന്നതു

1. Paul and Siluanus and Timotheus, vnto the Church of the Thessalonians in God our father, and the Lord Iesus Christe:

2. പിതാവായ ദൈവത്തിങ്കല് നിന്നും കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിങ്കല്നിന്നും നിങ്ങള്ക്കു കൃപയും സമാധാനവും ഉണ്ടാകട്ടെ.

2. Grace vnto you and peace from God our father, & the Lorde Iesus Christe.

3. സഹോദരന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ വിശ്വാസം ഏറ്റവും വര്ദ്ധിച്ചും ആളാംപ്രതി നിങ്ങള്ക്കു എല്ലാവര്ക്കും അന്യോന്യം സ്നേഹം പെരുകിയും വരികയാല് ഞങ്ങള് യോഗ്യമാകുംവണ്ണം ദൈവത്തിന്നു എപ്പോഴും നിങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്വാന് കടമ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

3. We are bound to thanke God alwayes for you brethren, as it is meete, because that your fayth groweth exceedyngly, and the loue of euery one of you toward another aboundeth:

4. അതുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങള് സഹിക്കുന്ന സകല ഉപദ്രവങ്ങളിലും കഷ്ടങ്ങളിലുമുള്ള നിങ്ങളുടെ സഹിഷ്ണുതയും വിശ്വാസവും നിമിത്തം ഞങ്ങള് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സഭകളില് നിങ്ങളെച്ചൊല്ലി പ്രശംസിക്കുന്നു.

4. So that we our selues reioyce in you in the Churches of God, ouer your pacience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye suffer,

5. അതു നിങ്ങള് കഷ്ടപ്പെടുവാന് ഹേതുവായിരിക്കുന്ന ദൈവരാജ്യത്തിന്നു നിങ്ങളെ യോഗ്യന്മാരായി എണ്ണും എന്നിങ്ങനെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നീതിയുള്ള വിധിക്കു അടയാളം ആകുന്നു.

5. [Which is] a token of the ryghteous iudgment of God, that ye may be counted woorthy of the kyngdome of God, for which ye also suffer.

6. കര്ത്താവായ യേശു തന്റെ ശക്തിയുള്ള ദൂതന്മാരുമായി സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില് നിന്നു അഗ്നിജ്വാലയില് പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി

6. For it is a ryghteous thing with God, to recompence tribulation to them that trouble you:

7. ദൈവത്തെ അറിയാത്തവര്ക്കും നമ്മുടെ കര്ത്താവായ യേശുവിന്റെ സുവിശേഷം അനുസരിക്കാത്തവര്ക്കും പ്രതികാരം കൊടുക്കുമ്പോള്

7. And to you whiche are troubled, reste with vs, in the reuelation of the Lorde Iesus from heauen, with the Angels of his power,

8. നിങ്ങളെ പീഡിപ്പിക്കുന്നവര്ക്കും പീഡയും പീഡ അനുഭവിക്കുന്ന നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ഞങ്ങളോടു കൂടെ ആശ്വാസവും പകരം നലക്കുന്നതു ദൈവസന്നിധിയില് നീതിയല്ലോ.

8. In flamyng fire, rendryng vengeance vnto them that knowe not God, and that obey not the Gospell of our Lorde Iesus Christe.

9. ആ നാളില് അവന് തന്റെ വിശുദ്ധന്മാരില് മഹത്വപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നും ഞങ്ങളുടെ സാക്ഷ്യം നിങ്ങള് വിശ്വസിച്ചതുപോലെ വിശ്വസിച്ച എല്ലാവരിലും താന് അതിശയവിഷയം ആകേണ്ടതിന്നും

9. Which shalbe punisshed with euerlastyng dampnation, from the presence of the Lorde, & fro the glorie of his power:

10. വരുമ്പോള് സുവിശേഷം അനുസരിക്കാത്തവര് കര്ത്താവിന്റെ സന്നിധാനവും അവന്റെ വല്ലഭത്വത്തോടുകൂടിയ മഹത്വവും വിട്ടകുന്നു നിത്യനാശം എന്ന ശിക്ഷാവിധി അനുഭവിക്കും.

10. When he shall come to be glorified in his saintes, and to be made marueylous in all them that beleue (because our testimonie toward you was beleued) in that day.

11. അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞങ്ങള് നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെയും കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെയും കൃപയാല് നമ്മുടെ കര്ത്താവായ യേശുവിന്റെ നാമം നിങ്ങളിലും നിങ്ങള് അവനിലും മഹത്വപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നു

11. Wherfore also we praye alwayes for you, that our God woulde make you worthy of the callyng, & fulfyll all good pleasure of goodnesse in the worke of fayth in power:

12. നമ്മുടെ ദൈവം നിങ്ങളെ തന്റെ വിളിക്കു യോഗ്യരായി എണ്ണി സല്ഗുണത്തിലുള്ള സകലതാല്പര്യവും വിശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിയും ശക്തിയോടെ പൂര്ണ്ണമാക്കിത്തരേണം എന്നു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു വേണ്ടി എപ്പോഴും പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കുന്നു.

12. That the name of our Lorde Iesus Christe may be glorified in you, and ye in hym, accordyng to the grace of our God, and the Lorde Iesus Christe.
