1. ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിന്റെ ബദ്ധനായ പൌലോസും സഹോദരനായ തിമൊഥെയൊസും ഞങ്ങളുടെ പ്രിയനും കൂട്ടുവേലക്കാരനുമായ ഫിലേമോന് എന്ന നിനക്കും

1. Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus, and Timothy, a brother: to Philemon, our beloved and fellow labourer;

2. സഹോദരിയായ അപ്പിയെക്കും ഞങ്ങളുടെ സഹഭടനായ അര്ക്കിപ്പൊസിന്നും നിന്റെ വീട്ടിലെ സഭെക്കും എഴുതുന്നുതു

2. And to Appia, our dearest sister, and to Archippus, our fellow soldier, and to the church which is in thy house:

3. നമ്മുടെ പിതാവായ ദൈവത്തിങ്കല് നിന്നും കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിങ്കല്നിന്നും നിങ്ങള്ക്കു കൃപയും സമാധാനവും ഉണ്ടാകട്ടെ.

3. Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

4. കര്ത്താവായ യേശുവിനോടും സകലവിശുദ്ധന്മാരോടും നിനക്കുള്ള സ്നേഹത്തെയും വിശ്വാസത്തെയും കുറിച്ചു

4. I give thanks to my God, always making a remembrance of thee in my prayers.

5. ഞാന് കേട്ടിട്ടു നമ്മിലുള്ള എല്ലാനന്മയുടെയും പരിജ്ഞാനത്താല് നിന്റെ വിശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ കൂട്ടായ്മ ക്രിസ്തുവിന്നായി സഫലമാകേണ്ടതിന്നു

5. Hearing of thy charity and faith, which thou hast in the Lord Jesus, and towards all the saints:

6. എന്റെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥനയില് നിന്നെ ഔര്ത്തു എപ്പോഴും എന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്നു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യുന്നു.

6. That the communication of thy faith may be made evident in the acknowledgment of every good work, that is in you in Christ Jesus.

7. സഹോദരാ, വിശുദ്ധന്മാരുടെ ഹൃദയം നീ തണുപ്പിച്ചതുനിമിത്തം നിന്റെ സ്നേഹത്തില് എനിക്കു വളരെ സന്തോഷവും ആശ്വാസവും ഉണ്ടായി.

7. For I have had great joy and consolation in thy charity, because the bowels of the saints have been refreshed by thee, brother.

8. ആകയാല് യുക്തമായതു നിന്നോടു കല്പിപ്പാന് ക്രിസ്തുവില് എനിക്കു വളരെ ധൈര്യം ഉണ്ടെങ്കിലും

8. Wherefore though I have much confidence in Christ Jesus, to command thee that which is to the purpose:

9. പൌലോസ് എന്ന വയസ്സനും ഇപ്പോള് ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിന്റെ ബദ്ധനുമായിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ ഞാന് സ്നേഹം നിമിത്തം അപേക്ഷിക്കയത്രേ ചെയ്യുന്നതു.

9. For charity sake I rather beseech, whereas thou art such a one, as Paul an old man, and now a prisoner also of Jesus Christ.

10. തടവില് ഇരിക്കുമ്പോള് ഞാന് ജനിപ്പിച്ച എന്റെ മകനായ ഒനേസിമൊസിന്നു വേണ്ടി ആകുന്നു നിന്നോടു അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നതു.

10. I beseech thee for my son, whom I have begotten in my bands, Onesimus,

11. അവന് മുമ്പെ നിനക്കു പ്രയോജനമില്ലാത്തവന് ആയിരുന്നു; ഇപ്പോള് നിനക്കും എനിക്കും നല്ല പ്രയോജനമുള്ളവന് തന്നേ.

11. Who hath been heretofore unprofitable to thee, but now is profitable both to me and thee,

12. എനിക്കു പ്രാണപ്രിയനായ അവനെ ഞാന് മടക്കി അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

12. Whom I have sent back to thee. And do thou receive him as my own bowels.

13. സുവിശേഷംനിമിത്തമുള്ള തടവില് എന്നെ ശുശ്രൂഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവനെ നിനക്കു പകരം എന്റെ അടുക്കല് തന്നേ നിര്ത്തിക്കൊള്വാന് എനിക്കു ആഗ്രഹമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

13. Whom I would have retained with me, that in thy stead he might have ministered to me in the bands of the gospel:

14. എങ്കിലും നിന്റെ ഗുണം നിര്ബ്ബന്ധത്താല് എന്നപോലെ അല്ല, മനസ്സോടെ ആകേണ്ടതിന്നു നിന്റെ സമ്മതം കൂടാതെ ഒന്നും ചെയ്വാന് എനിക്കു മനസ്സില്ലായിരുന്നു.

14. But without thy counsel I would do nothing: that thy good deed might not be as it were of necessity, but voluntary.

15. അവന് അല്പകാലം വേറുവിട്ടുപോയതു അവനെ സദാകാലത്തേക്കും നിനക്കു ലഭിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ആയിരിക്കും;

15. For perhaps he therefore departed for a season from thee, that thou mightest receive him again for ever:

16. അവന് ഇനി ദാസനല്ല, ദാസന്നു മീതെ പ്രിയസഹോദരന് തന്നേ; അവന് വിശേഷാല് എനിക്കു പ്രിയന് എങ്കില് നിനക്കു ജഡസംബന്ധമായും കര്ത്തൃസംബന്ധമായും എത്ര അധികം?

16. Not now as a servant, but instead of a servant, a most dear brother, especially to me: but how much more to thee both in the flesh and in the Lord?

17. ആകയാല് നീ എന്നെ കൂട്ടാളി എന്നു കരുതുന്നു എങ്കില് അവനെ എന്നെപ്പോലെ ചേര്ത്തുകൊള്ക.

17. If therefore thou count me a partner, receive him as myself.

18. അവന് നിന്നോടു വല്ലതും അന്യായം ചെയ്തിട്ടോ കടം പെട്ടിട്ടോ ഉണ്ടെങ്കില് അതു എന്റെ പേരില് കണക്കിട്ടുകൊള്ക.

18. And if he hath wronged thee in any thing, or is in thy debt, put that to my account.

19. പൌലോസ് എന്ന ഞാന് സ്വന്തകയ്യാല് എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് തന്നു തീര്ക്കാം. നീ നിന്നെ തന്നേ എനിക്കു തരുവാന് കടംപെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഞാന് പറയേണം എന്നില്ലല്ലോ.

19. I Paul have written it with my own hand: I will repay it: not to say to thee, that thou owest me thy own self also.

20. അതേ സഹോദരാ, നിന്നെക്കൊണ്ടു എനിക്കു കര്ത്താവില് ഒരനുഭവം വേണ്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ക്രിസ്തുവില് എന്റെ ഹൃദയം തണുപ്പിക്ക.

20. Yea, brother. May I enjoy thee in the Lord. Refresh my bowels in the Lord.

21. നിന്റെ അനുസരണത്തെപ്പറ്റി എനിക്കു നിശ്ചയം ഉണ്ടു; ഞാന് പറയുന്നതിലുമധികം നീ ചെയ്യും എന്നറിഞ്ഞിട്ടാകുന്നു ഞാന് എഴുതുന്നതു.

21. Trusting in thy obedience, I have written to thee: knowing that thou wilt also do more than I say.

22. ഇതല്ലാതെ നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥനയാല് ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു നല്കപ്പെടും എന്നു പ്രത്യാശ ഉണ്ടാകകൊണ്ടു എനിക്കു പാര്പ്പിടം ഒരുക്കിക്കൊള്ക.

22. But withal prepare me also a lodging. For I hope that through your prayers I shall be given unto you.

23. ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവില് എന്റെ സഹബദ്ധനായ എപ്പഫ്രാസും

23. There salute thee Epaphras, my fellow prisoner in Christ Jesus;

24. എന്റെ കൂട്ടുവേലക്കാരനായ മര്ക്കൊസും അരിസ്തര്ക്കൊസും ദേമാസും ലൂക്കൊസും നിനക്കു വന്ദനം ചൊല്ലുന്നു.

24. Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, and Luke my fellow labourers.

25. നമ്മുടെ കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ കൃപ നിങ്ങളുടെ ആത്മാവോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ. ആമേന് .
