1. അന്നു ദെബോരയും അബീനോവാമിന്റെ മകനായ ബാരാക്കും പാട്ടുപാടിയതു എന്തെന്നാല്

2. നായകന്മാര് യിസ്രായേലിനെ നയിച്ചതിന്നും ജനം സ്വമേധയാ സേവിച്ചതിന്നും യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുവിന് .

3. Hear kings and hearken lords, I will sing, and give praise unto the LORD God, of Israel.

4. യഹോവേ, നീ സേയീരില്നിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുകയില്, ഏദോമ്യദേശത്തുകൂടി നീ നടകൊള്കയില്, ഭൂമി കുലുങ്ങി, ആകാശം പൊഴിഞ്ഞു, മേഘങ്ങള് വെള്ളം ചൊരിഞ്ഞു,

4. LORD when thou departedest out of Seir and camest from the fields of Edom, the earth trembled, and the heaven rained, and the clouds dropped water:

5. യഹോവാസന്നിധിയില് മലകള് കുലുങ്ങി, യിസ്രായേലിന് ദൈവമായ യഹോവേക്കു മുമ്പില് ആ സീനായി തന്നേ.

5. the mountains melted before the LORD, even mount Sinai before the LORD God of Israel.

6. അനാത്തിന് പുത്രനാം ശംഗരിന് നാളിലും, യായേലിന് കാലത്തും പാതകള് ശൂന്യമായി. വഴിപോക്കര് വളഞ്ഞ വഴികളില് നടന്നു.

7. ദെബോരയായ ഞാന് എഴുന്നേലക്കുംവരെ, യിസ്രായേലില് മാതാവായെഴുന്നേലക്കുംവരെ നായകന്മാര് യിസ്രായേലില് അശേഷം അറ്റുപോയിരുന്നു.

10. വെള്ളക്കഴുതപ്പുറത്തു കയറുന്നവരേ, പരവതാനികളില് ഇരിക്കുന്നവരേ, കാല്നടയായി പോകുന്നവരേ, വര്ണ്ണിപ്പിന് !

10. Bless the LORD ye that ride on goodly Asses and sit in judgment. And ye that walk by the ways make ditties.

11. വില്ലാളികളുടെ ഞാണൊലിയോടകലേ നീര്പ്പാത്തിക്കിടയില് അവിടെ അവര് യഹോവയുടെ നീതികളെ യിസ്രായേലിലെ ഭരണനീതികളെ കഥിക്കും. യഹോവയുടെ ജനം അന്നു ഗോപുരദ്വാരത്തിങ്കല് ചെന്നു.

11. Now the archers did cry, where men draw water, there shall they tell of the justice(righteousness) of the LORD, and of the justice of his uplandish folk in Israel. And then the people of the LORD went down unto the gates.

12. ഉണരുക, ഉണരുക, ദെബോരയേ, ഉണരുക, ഉണര്ന്നു, പാട്ടുപാടുക. എഴുന്നേല്ക്ക, ബാരാക്കേ, അബീനോവാമാത്മജാ. നിന്റെ ബദ്ധന്മാരെ പിടിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുപോക.

12. Up up Debora, up up and sing a song, up Barak, and take thy prey, thou son of Abinoam.

13. അന്നു ശ്രേഷ്ഠന്മാരുടെ ശിഷ്ടവും പടജ്ജനവും ഇറങ്ങിവന്നു. വീരന്മാരുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ യഹോവയും എനിക്കായി ഇറങ്ങിവന്നു.

14. എഫ്രയീമില്നിന്നു അമാലേക്കില് വേരുള്ളവരും, ബെന്യാമീനേ, നിന്റെ പിന്നാലെ നിന്റെ ജനസമൂഹത്തില് മാഖീരില്നിന്നു അധിപന്മാരും സെബൂലൂനില്നിന്നു നായകദണ്ഡധാരികളും വന്നു.

14. Ephraim was the first against Amalek, and after them BenJamin, among the people. Of Machir came learned men in the law, and of Zabulon that well could draw with the pen of a scribe.

15. യിസ്സാഖാര് പ്രഭുക്കന്മാര് ദെബോരയോടുകൂടെ യിസ്സാഖാര് എന്നപോലെ ബാരാക്കും താഴ്വരയില് അവനോടുകൂടെ ചാടി പുറപ്പെട്ടു. രൂബേന്റെ നീര്ച്ചാലുകള്ക്കരികെ ഘനമേറിയ മനോനിര്ണ്ണയങ്ങള് ഉണ്ടായി.

15. The lords of Isacar were with Debora. And as Barak, even so was Isacar sent into the valley afoot. But in the divisions of Ruben, were great imaginations of heart.

16. ആട്ടിന് കൂട്ടങ്ങള്ക്കരികെ കുഴലൂത്തു കേള്പ്പാന് നീ തൊഴുത്തുകള്ക്കിടയില് പാര്ക്കുംന്നതെന്തു? രൂബേന്റെ നീര്ച്ചാലുകള്ക്കരികെ ഘനമേറിയ മനോനിര്ണ്ണയങ്ങള് ഉണ്ടായി.

16. Wherefore abodest thou among the sheepfolds, to hear the bleatings of the flocks. In the divisions of Ruben, great were the imaginations of heart.

17. ഗിലെയാദ് യോര്ദ്ദാന്നക്കരെ പാര്ത്തു. ദാന് കപ്പലുകള്ക്കരികെ താമസിക്കുന്നതു എന്തു? ആശേര് സമുദ്രതീരത്തു അനങ്ങാതിരുന്നു തുറമുഖങ്ങള്ക്കകത്തു പാര്ത്തുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.

17. Gilead abode on the other side Jordan, and why tarried Dan in ships. And Aser sat in the havens of the sea, and abode still in his own coasts.

18. സെബൂലൂന് പ്രാണനെ ത്യജിച്ച ജനം; നഫ്താലി പോര്ക്കളമേടുകളില് തന്നേ.

23. Curse Meroz bade the angel of the LORD; Curse; Curse the inhabiters thereof because they came not forth to help the LORD, to help the LORD among the mighty.

27. Between her feet he bowed himself, fell down and lay still: Between her feet he bowed himself and fell. And whither he bowed himself, thither he fell brought to nought.

28. സീസെരയുടെ അമ്മ കിളിവാതിലൂടെ കുനിഞ്ഞുനിന്നു നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു. ജാലകത്തൂടെ വിളിച്ചുപറഞ്ഞിതുഅവന്റെ തേര് വരുവാന് വൈകുന്നതു എന്തു? രഥചക്രങ്ങള്ക്കു താമസം എന്തു?

28. Thorow a window looked Sisara's mother and howled thorow a lattice, why abideth his chariot so long, that it cometh not, why tarry the wheels of his wagons?

29. ജ്ഞാനമേറിയ നായകിമാര് അതിന്നുത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു; താനും തന്നോടു മറുപടി ആവര്ത്തിച്ചു

29. The wisest of her ladies answered her: yea and she answered her own words herself,

30. കിട്ടിയ കൊള്ള അവര് പങ്കിടുകയല്ലെയോ? ഔരോ പുരുഷന്നു ഒന്നും രണ്ടും പെണ്ണുങ്ങള്, സീസെരെക്കു കൊള്ള വിചിത്രവസ്ത്രം വിചിത്രത്തയ്യലായ കൊള്ളയും കൂടെ. കൊള്ളക്കാരുടെ കഴുത്തില് വിചിത്രശീല ഈരണ്ടു കാണും.

30. haply, they have found, and divide the spoil. A maid, yea two maids for a piece: a spoil of divers colours for Sisara, a spoil of divers colours with broidered works, divers coloured broidered works for the neck for a prey.

31. യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കള് ഒക്കെയും ഇവ്വണം നശിക്കട്ടെ. അവനെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവരോ സൂര്യന് പ്രതാപത്തോടെ ഉദിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ തന്നേ. പിന്നെ ദേശത്തിന്നു നാല്പതു സംവത്സരം സ്വസ്ഥത ഉണ്ടായി.
