1. അപ്പോള് ചുറ്റും നിലക്കുന്നവരുടെ മുമ്പില് തന്നെത്താന് അടക്കുവാന് വഹിയാതെഎല്ലാവരെയും എന്റെ അടുക്കല് നിന്നു പുറത്താക്കുവിന് എന്നു യോസേഫ് വിളിച്ചുപറഞ്ഞു. ഇങ്ങനെ യോസേഫ് തന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാര്ക്കും തന്നെ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയപ്പോള് ആരും അടുക്കല് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല.

1. Joseph could not control himself any longer. He cried in front of all the people who were there. Joseph said, 'Tell everyone to leave here.' So all the people left. Only the brothers were left with Joseph. Then he told them who he was.

2. അവന് ഉച്ചത്തില് കരഞ്ഞു; മിസ്രയീമ്യരും ഫറവോന്റെ ഗൃഹവും അതു കേട്ടു.

2. Joseph continued to cry, and all the Egyptian people in Pharaoh's house heard it.

3. യോസേഫ് സഹോദരന്മാരോടുഞാന് യോസേഫ് ആകുന്നു; എന്റെ അപ്പന് ജീവനോടിരിക്കുന്നുവോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാര് അവന്റെ സന്നിധിയില് ഭ്രമിച്ചുപോയതുകൊണ്ടു അവനോടു ഉത്തരം പറവാന് അവര്ക്കും കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല.

3. He said to his brothers, 'I am your brother Joseph. Is my father doing well?' But the brothers did not answer him because they were confused and scared.

4. So Joseph said to his brothers again, 'Come here to me. I beg you, come here.' When the brothers went to him, he said to them, 'I am your brother Joseph. I am the one you sold as a slave to Egypt.

5. എന്നെ ഇവിടെ വിറ്റതുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങള് വ്യസനിക്കേണ്ടാ, വിഷാദിക്കയും വേണ്ടാ; ജീവരക്ഷക്കായി ദൈവം എന്നെ നിങ്ങള്ക്കു മുമ്പെ അയച്ചതാകുന്നു.

5. Now don't be worried. Don't be angry with yourselves for what you did. It was God's plan for me to come here. I am here to save people's lives.

6. ദേശത്തു ക്ഷാമം ഉണ്ടായിട്ടു ഇപ്പോള് രണ്ടു സംവത്സരമായി; ഉഴവും കൊയ്ത്തും ഇല്ലാത്ത അഞ്ചു സംവത്സരം ഇനിയും ഉണ്ടു.

6. This terrible famine has continued for two years now, and there will be five more years without planting or harvest.

7. ഭൂമിയില് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു സന്തതി ശേഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും വലിയോരു രക്ഷയാല് നിങ്ങളുടെ ജീവനെ രക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും ദൈവം എന്നെ നിങ്ങള്ക്കു മുമ്പെ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

7. So God sent me here ahead of you so that I can save your people in this country.

8. ആകയാല് നിങ്ങള് അല്ല, ദൈവം അത്രേ എന്നെ ഇവിടെ അയച്ചതു; അവന് എന്നെ ഫറവോന്നു പിതാവും അവന്റെ ഗൃഹത്തിന്നു ഒക്കെയും യജമാനനും മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തിന്നൊക്കെയും അധിപതിയും ആക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

8. It wasn't your fault that I was sent here. It was God's plan. God made me like a father to Pharaoh. I am the governor over all his house and over all of Egypt.'

9. നിങ്ങള് ബദ്ധപ്പെട്ടു എന്റെ അപ്പന്റെ അടുക്കല് ചെന്നു അവനോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്നിന്റെ മകനായ യോസേഫ് ഇപ്രകാരം പറയുന്നുദൈവം എന്നെ മിസ്രയീമിന്നൊക്കെയും അധിപതിയാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ താമസിയാതെ എന്റെ അടുക്കല് വരേണം.

9. Joseph said, 'Hurry up and go to my father. Tell him his son Joseph sent this message: 'God made me the governor of Egypt. So come here to me quickly. Don't wait.

10. നീ ഗോശെന് ദേശത്തു പാര്ത്തു എനിക്കു സമീപമായിരിക്കും; നീയും മക്കളും മക്കളുടെ മക്കളും നിന്റെ ആടുകളും കന്നുകാലികളും നിനക്കുള്ളതൊക്കെയും തന്നേ.

10. You can live near me in the land of Goshen. You, your children, your grandchildren, and all of your animals are welcome here.

11. നിനക്കും കുടുംബത്തിന്നും നിനക്കുള്ള സകലത്തിന്നും ദാരിദ്ര്യം നേരിടാതവണ്ണം ഞാന് അവിടെ നിന്നെ പോഷിപ്പിക്കും; ക്ഷാമം ഇനിയും അഞ്ചു സംവത്സരം നിലക്കും.

11. I will take care of you during the next five years of hunger. So you and your family will not lose everything you own.'

12. ഇതാ, ഞാന് തന്നേ നിങ്ങളോടു സംസാരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങളും എന്റെ അനുജന് ബെന്യാമീനും കണ്ണാലെ കാണുന്നുവല്ലോ.

12. Surely you can see that I really am Joseph. Even my brother Benjamin knows it is me, your brother, talking to you.

13. മിസ്രയീമില് എനിക്കുള്ള മഹത്വവും നിങ്ങള് കണ്ടതൊക്കെയും അപ്പനെ അറിയിക്കേണം; എന്റെ അപ്പനെ വേഗത്തില് ഇവിടെ കൊണ്ടുവരികയും വേണം.

13. So tell my father about the honor I have received here in Egypt. Tell him about everything you have seen here. Now hurry, go bring my father back to me.'

14. അവന് തന്റെ അനുജന് ബെന്യാമീനെ കെട്ടിപ്പിടിച്ചു കരഞ്ഞു; ബെന്യാമീന് അവനെയും കെട്ടിപ്പിടിച്ചു കരഞ്ഞു.

14. Then Joseph hugged his brother Benjamin, and they both began crying.

15. അവന് സഹോദരന്മാരെ ഒക്കെയും ചുംബിച്ചു കെട്ടിപ്പിടിച്ചു കരഞ്ഞു; അതിന്റെ ശേഷം സഹോദരന്മാര് അവനുമായി സല്ലാപിച്ചു.

15. Then Joseph cried as he kissed all his brothers. After this, the brothers began talking with him.

16. യോസേഫിന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാര് വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നുള്ള കേള്വി ഫറവോന്റെ അരമനയില് എത്തി; അതു ഫറവോന്നും അവന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാര്ക്കും സന്തോഷമായി.

16. Pharaoh learned that Joseph's brothers had come to him. This news spread throughout Pharaoh's house. Pharaoh and his servants were very excited!

17. ഫറവോന് യോസേഫിനോടു പറഞ്ഞതുനിന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരോടു നീ പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്നിങ്ങള് ഇതു ചെയ്വിന് നിങ്ങളുടെ മൃഗങ്ങളുടെ പുറത്തു ചുമടുകയറ്റി പുറപ്പെട്ടു കനാന് ദേശത്തു ചെന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ

17. So Pharaoh told Joseph, 'Tell your brothers to take all the food they need and go back to the land of Canaan.

18. അപ്പനെയും കുടുംബങ്ങളെയും കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു എന്റെ അടുക്കല് വരുവിന് ; ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു മിസ്രയീംരാജ്യത്തിലെ നന്മ തരും; ദേശത്തിന്റെ പുഷ്ടി നിങ്ങള് അനുഭവിക്കും.

18. Tell them to bring your father and their families back here to me. I will give you the best land in Egypt to live on. And your family can eat the best food we have here.

19. നിനക്കു കല്പന തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇതാകുന്നു നിങ്ങള് ചെയ്യേണ്ടതുനിങ്ങളുടെ പൈതങ്ങള്ക്കും ഭാര്യമാര്ക്കും വേണ്ടി മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു നിന്നു രഥങ്ങള് കൊണ്ടുപോയി നിങ്ങളുടെ അപ്പനെ കയറ്റി കൊണ്ടുവരേണം.

19. Also give your brothers some of our best wagons. Tell them to go to Canaan and bring your father and all the women and children back in the wagons.

20. നിങ്ങളുടെ സാമാനങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു ചിന്തിക്കേണ്ടാ; മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തെങ്ങുമുള്ള നന്മ നിങ്ങള്ക്കുള്ളതു ആകുന്നു.

20. Don't worry about bringing all of their belongings. We can give them the best of Egypt.'

21. യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര് അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ ചെയ്തു; യേസേഫ് അവര്ക്കും ഫറവോന്റെ കല്പന പ്രകാരം രഥങ്ങള് കൊടുത്തു; വഴിക്കു വേണ്ടുന്ന ആഹാരവും കൊടുത്തു.

21. So the sons of Israel did this. Joseph gave them good wagons just as Pharaoh had promised. And Joseph gave them enough food for their trip.

22. അവരില് ഔരോരുത്തന്നു ഔരോ വസ്ത്രവും ബെന്യാമീന്നോ മുന്നൂറു വെള്ളിക്കാശും അഞ്ചു വസ്ത്രവും കൊടുത്തു.

22. He gave each brother a suit of beautiful clothes. But to Benjamin he gave five suits of beautiful clothes and 300 pieces of silver.

23. അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ അവന് തന്റെ അപ്പന്നു പത്തു കഴുതപ്പുറത്തു മിസ്രയീമിലെ വിശേഷ സാധനങ്ങളും പത്തു പെണ്കഴുതപ്പുറത്തു വഴിച്ചെലവിന്നു ധാന്യവും ആഹാരവും കയറ്റി അയച്ചു.

23. Joseph also sent gifts to his father. He sent ten donkeys with bags full of many good things from Egypt. And he sent ten female donkeys loaded with grain, bread, and other food for his father on his trip back.

24. അങ്ങനെ അവന് തന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരെ യാത്ര അയച്ചു; അവര് പുറപ്പെടുമ്പോള്നിങ്ങള് വഴിയില് വെച്ചു ശണ്ഠകൂടരുതെന്നു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞു.

24. Then Joseph told his brothers to go. While they were leaving, he said to them, 'Go straight home, and don't fight on the way.'

25. അവര് മിസ്രയീമില് നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു കനാന് ദേശത്തു അപ്പനായ യാക്കോബിന്റെ അടുക്കല് എത്തി.

25. So the brothers left Egypt and went to their father in the land of Canaan.

26. അവനോടുയോസേഫ് ജീവനോടിരിക്കുന്നു; അവന് മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തിന്നൊക്കെയും അധിപതിയാകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അപ്പോള് യാക്കോബ് സ്തംഭിച്ചുപോയി; അവര് പറഞ്ഞതു വിശ്വസിച്ചതുമില്ല.

26. They told him, 'Father, Joseph is still alive! And he is the governor over the whole country of Egypt.' Their father did not know what to think. At first he didn't believe them.

27. യോസേഫ് തങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞവാക്കുകളൊക്കെയും അവര് അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞു; തന്നെ കയറ്റികൊണ്ടു പോകുവാന് യോസേഫ് അയച്ച രഥങ്ങളെ കണ്ടപ്പോള് അവരുടെ അപ്പനായ യാക്കോബിന്നു വീണ്ടും ചൈതന്യം വന്നു.

27. But then they told him everything Joseph had said. Then their father saw the wagons that Joseph had sent to bring him back to Egypt, and he became excited and very happy.

28. മതി; എന്റെ മകന് യേസേഫ് ജീവനോടിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് മരിക്കുംമുമ്പെ അവനെ പോയി കാണും എന്നു യിസ്രായേല് പറഞ്ഞു.

28. Israel said, 'Now I believe you. My son Joseph is still alive! I am going to see him before I die!'
