1. അപ്പോള് ചുറ്റും നിലക്കുന്നവരുടെ മുമ്പില് തന്നെത്താന് അടക്കുവാന് വഹിയാതെഎല്ലാവരെയും എന്റെ അടുക്കല് നിന്നു പുറത്താക്കുവിന് എന്നു യോസേഫ് വിളിച്ചുപറഞ്ഞു. ഇങ്ങനെ യോസേഫ് തന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാര്ക്കും തന്നെ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയപ്പോള് ആരും അടുക്കല് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല.

1. Then Joseph could not restrain himself before all those who stood before him, and he cried out, Cause every man to go out from me. And no man stood with him while Joseph made himself known to his brothers.

2. അവന് ഉച്ചത്തില് കരഞ്ഞു; മിസ്രയീമ്യരും ഫറവോന്റെ ഗൃഹവും അതു കേട്ടു.

2. And he wept aloud, and the Egyptians heard, and the house of Pharaoh heard.

3. യോസേഫ് സഹോദരന്മാരോടുഞാന് യോസേഫ് ആകുന്നു; എന്റെ അപ്പന് ജീവനോടിരിക്കുന്നുവോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാര് അവന്റെ സന്നിധിയില് ഭ്രമിച്ചുപോയതുകൊണ്ടു അവനോടു ഉത്തരം പറവാന് അവര്ക്കും കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല.

3. And Joseph said to his brothers, I am Joseph, does my father yet live? And his brothers could not answer him, for they were troubled at his presence.

4. യോസേഫ് സഹോദരന്മാരോടുഇങ്ങോട്ടു അടുത്തുവരുവിന് എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; അവര് അടുത്തുചെന്നപ്പോള് അവന് പറഞ്ഞതു; നിങ്ങള് മിസ്രയീമിലേക്കു വിറ്റുകളഞ്ഞ നിങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന് യോസേഫ് ആകുന്നു ഞാന് .

4. And Joseph said to his brothers, Come near to me, I pray you. And they came near, and he said, I am Joseph your brother, whom ye sold into Egypt.

5. എന്നെ ഇവിടെ വിറ്റതുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങള് വ്യസനിക്കേണ്ടാ, വിഷാദിക്കയും വേണ്ടാ; ജീവരക്ഷക്കായി ദൈവം എന്നെ നിങ്ങള്ക്കു മുമ്പെ അയച്ചതാകുന്നു.

5. And now be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me here, for God sent me before you to preserve life.

6. ദേശത്തു ക്ഷാമം ഉണ്ടായിട്ടു ഇപ്പോള് രണ്ടു സംവത്സരമായി; ഉഴവും കൊയ്ത്തും ഇല്ലാത്ത അഞ്ചു സംവത്സരം ഇനിയും ഉണ്ടു.

6. For the famine has been in the land these two years, and there are yet five years, in which there shall be neither plowing nor harvest.

7. ഭൂമിയില് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു സന്തതി ശേഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും വലിയോരു രക്ഷയാല് നിങ്ങളുടെ ജീവനെ രക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും ദൈവം എന്നെ നിങ്ങള്ക്കു മുമ്പെ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

7. And God sent me before you to preserve for you a remnant on the earth, and to save you alive by a great deliverance.

8. ആകയാല് നിങ്ങള് അല്ല, ദൈവം അത്രേ എന്നെ ഇവിടെ അയച്ചതു; അവന് എന്നെ ഫറവോന്നു പിതാവും അവന്റെ ഗൃഹത്തിന്നു ഒക്കെയും യജമാനനും മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തിന്നൊക്കെയും അധിപതിയും ആക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

8. So now it was not you that sent me here, but God, and he has made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and ruler over all the land of Egypt.

9. നിങ്ങള് ബദ്ധപ്പെട്ടു എന്റെ അപ്പന്റെ അടുക്കല് ചെന്നു അവനോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്നിന്റെ മകനായ യോസേഫ് ഇപ്രകാരം പറയുന്നുദൈവം എന്നെ മിസ്രയീമിന്നൊക്കെയും അധിപതിയാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ താമസിയാതെ എന്റെ അടുക്കല് വരേണം.

9. Hasten ye, and go up to my father, and say to him, Thus says thy son Joseph: God has made me lord of all Egypt. Come down to me, delay not.

10. നീ ഗോശെന് ദേശത്തു പാര്ത്തു എനിക്കു സമീപമായിരിക്കും; നീയും മക്കളും മക്കളുടെ മക്കളും നിന്റെ ആടുകളും കന്നുകാലികളും നിനക്കുള്ളതൊക്കെയും തന്നേ.

10. And thou shall dwell in the land of Goshen, and thou shall be near to me, thou, and thy sons, and thy sons' sons, and thy flocks, and thy herds, and all that thou have.

11. നിനക്കും കുടുംബത്തിന്നും നിനക്കുള്ള സകലത്തിന്നും ദാരിദ്ര്യം നേരിടാതവണ്ണം ഞാന് അവിടെ നിന്നെ പോഷിപ്പിക്കും; ക്ഷാമം ഇനിയും അഞ്ചു സംവത്സരം നിലക്കും.

11. And there will I nourish thee, for there are yet five years of famine, lest thou come to poverty, thou, and thy household, and all that thou have.

12. ഇതാ, ഞാന് തന്നേ നിങ്ങളോടു സംസാരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങളും എന്റെ അനുജന് ബെന്യാമീനും കണ്ണാലെ കാണുന്നുവല്ലോ.

12. And, behold, your eyes see, and the eyes of my brother Benjamin, that it is my mouth that speaks to you.

13. മിസ്രയീമില് എനിക്കുള്ള മഹത്വവും നിങ്ങള് കണ്ടതൊക്കെയും അപ്പനെ അറിയിക്കേണം; എന്റെ അപ്പനെ വേഗത്തില് ഇവിടെ കൊണ്ടുവരികയും വേണം.

13. And ye shall tell my father of all my glory in Egypt, and of all that ye have seen. And ye shall hasten and bring down my father here.

14. അവന് തന്റെ അനുജന് ബെന്യാമീനെ കെട്ടിപ്പിടിച്ചു കരഞ്ഞു; ബെന്യാമീന് അവനെയും കെട്ടിപ്പിടിച്ചു കരഞ്ഞു.

14. And he fell upon his brother Benjamin's neck, and wept, and Benjamin wept upon his neck.

15. അവന് സഹോദരന്മാരെ ഒക്കെയും ചുംബിച്ചു കെട്ടിപ്പിടിച്ചു കരഞ്ഞു; അതിന്റെ ശേഷം സഹോദരന്മാര് അവനുമായി സല്ലാപിച്ചു.

15. And he kissed all his brothers, and wept upon them. And after that his brothers talked with him.

16. യോസേഫിന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാര് വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നുള്ള കേള്വി ഫറവോന്റെ അരമനയില് എത്തി; അതു ഫറവോന്നും അവന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാര്ക്കും സന്തോഷമായി.

16. And the report of it was heard in Pharaoh's house, saying, Joseph's brothers have come. And it pleased Pharaoh well, and his servants.

17. ഫറവോന് യോസേഫിനോടു പറഞ്ഞതുനിന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരോടു നീ പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്നിങ്ങള് ഇതു ചെയ്വിന് നിങ്ങളുടെ മൃഗങ്ങളുടെ പുറത്തു ചുമടുകയറ്റി പുറപ്പെട്ടു കനാന് ദേശത്തു ചെന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ

17. And Pharaoh said to Joseph, Say to thy brothers, This do ye: Load your beasts, and go, get you to the land of Canaan,

18. അപ്പനെയും കുടുംബങ്ങളെയും കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു എന്റെ അടുക്കല് വരുവിന് ; ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു മിസ്രയീംരാജ്യത്തിലെ നന്മ തരും; ദേശത്തിന്റെ പുഷ്ടി നിങ്ങള് അനുഭവിക്കും.

18. and take your father and your households, and come to me. And I will give you the good of the land of Egypt, and ye shall eat the fat of the land.

19. നിനക്കു കല്പന തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇതാകുന്നു നിങ്ങള് ചെയ്യേണ്ടതുനിങ്ങളുടെ പൈതങ്ങള്ക്കും ഭാര്യമാര്ക്കും വേണ്ടി മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു നിന്നു രഥങ്ങള് കൊണ്ടുപോയി നിങ്ങളുടെ അപ്പനെ കയറ്റി കൊണ്ടുവരേണം.

19. Now thou are commanded, this do ye: Take wagons for you out of the land of Egypt for your little ones, and for your wives, and bring your father, and come.

20. നിങ്ങളുടെ സാമാനങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു ചിന്തിക്കേണ്ടാ; മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തെങ്ങുമുള്ള നന്മ നിങ്ങള്ക്കുള്ളതു ആകുന്നു.

20. Also do not regard your stuff, for the good of all the land of Egypt is yours.

21. യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര് അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ ചെയ്തു; യേസേഫ് അവര്ക്കും ഫറവോന്റെ കല്പന പ്രകാരം രഥങ്ങള് കൊടുത്തു; വഴിക്കു വേണ്ടുന്ന ആഹാരവും കൊടുത്തു.

21. And the sons of Israel did so. And Joseph gave them wagons, according to the commandment of Pharaoh, and gave them provision for the way.

22. അവരില് ഔരോരുത്തന്നു ഔരോ വസ്ത്രവും ബെന്യാമീന്നോ മുന്നൂറു വെള്ളിക്കാശും അഞ്ചു വസ്ത്രവും കൊടുത്തു.

22. He gave to all of them, each man, changes of raiment, but to Benjamin he gave three hundred pieces of silver, and five changes of raiment.

23. അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ അവന് തന്റെ അപ്പന്നു പത്തു കഴുതപ്പുറത്തു മിസ്രയീമിലെ വിശേഷ സാധനങ്ങളും പത്തു പെണ്കഴുതപ്പുറത്തു വഴിച്ചെലവിന്നു ധാന്യവും ആഹാരവും കയറ്റി അയച്ചു.

23. And he sent to his father according to this manner: ten donkeys laden with the good things of Egypt, and ten she-donkeys laden with grain and bread and provision for his father by the way.

24. അങ്ങനെ അവന് തന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരെ യാത്ര അയച്ചു; അവര് പുറപ്പെടുമ്പോള്നിങ്ങള് വഴിയില് വെച്ചു ശണ്ഠകൂടരുതെന്നു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞു.

24. So he sent his brothers away, and they departed. And he said to them, See that ye not fall out by the way.

25. അവര് മിസ്രയീമില് നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു കനാന് ദേശത്തു അപ്പനായ യാക്കോബിന്റെ അടുക്കല് എത്തി.

25. And they went up out of Egypt, and came into the land of Canaan to Jacob their father.

26. അവനോടുയോസേഫ് ജീവനോടിരിക്കുന്നു; അവന് മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തിന്നൊക്കെയും അധിപതിയാകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അപ്പോള് യാക്കോബ് സ്തംഭിച്ചുപോയി; അവര് പറഞ്ഞതു വിശ്വസിച്ചതുമില്ല.

26. And they told him, saying, Joseph is yet alive, and he is ruler over all the land of Egypt. And his heart fainted, for he did not believe them.

27. യോസേഫ് തങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞവാക്കുകളൊക്കെയും അവര് അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞു; തന്നെ കയറ്റികൊണ്ടു പോകുവാന് യോസേഫ് അയച്ച രഥങ്ങളെ കണ്ടപ്പോള് അവരുടെ അപ്പനായ യാക്കോബിന്നു വീണ്ടും ചൈതന്യം വന്നു.

27. And they told him all the words of Joseph, which he had said to them. And when he saw the wagons which Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob their father revived.

28. മതി; എന്റെ മകന് യേസേഫ് ജീവനോടിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് മരിക്കുംമുമ്പെ അവനെ പോയി കാണും എന്നു യിസ്രായേല് പറഞ്ഞു.

28. And Israel said, It is enough, Joseph my son is yet alive. I will go and see him before I die.
