1. ആദാമിന്റെ വംശപാരമ്പര്യമാവിതുദൈവം മനുഷ്യനെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചപ്പോള് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സാദൃശ്യത്തില് അവനെ ഉണ്ടാക്കി; ആണും പെണ്ണുമായി അവരെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു;

1. This is the book of the generation of man, in the day when God created man and made him after the similitude of God.

3. And when Adam was an hundred and thirty year old, he begat a son after his likeness and similitude: and called his name Seth.

5. And all the days of Adam which he lived, were nine hundred and thirty year, and then he died.

6. ശേത്തിന്നു നൂറ്റഞ്ചു വയസ്സായപ്പോള് അവന് എനോശിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

6. And Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos.

7. And after he had begot Enos he lived eight hundred and seven year, and begat sons and daughters.

8. ശേത്തിന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലം ആകെ തൊള്ളായിരത്തി പന്ത്രണ്ടു സംവത്സരമായിരുന്നു; പിന്നെ അവന് മരിച്ചു.

8. And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve year, and died.

9. എനോശിന്നു തൊണ്ണൂറു വയസ്സായപ്പോള് അവന് കേനാനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

9. And Enos lived ninety year, and begat Kenan.

10. കേനാനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ച ശേഷം എനോശ് എണ്ണൂറ്റിപതിനഞ്ചു സംവത്സരം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

10. And Enos after he begat Kenan, lived eight hundred and fifteen year, and begat sons and daughters:

11. എനോശിന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലം ആകെ തൊള്ളായിരത്തഞ്ചു സംവത്സരമായിരുന്നു; പിന്നെ അവന് മരിച്ചു.

11. and all the days of Enos were nine hundred and five year, and then he died.

12. കേനാന്നു എഴുപതു വയസ്സായപ്പോള് അവന് മഹലലേലിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

12. And Kenan lived seventy year, and begat Mahalaliel.

13. മഹലലേലിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ച ശേഷം കേനാന് എണ്ണൂറ്റിനാല്പതു സംവത്സരം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

13. And Kenan after he had begot Mahalaliel, lived eight hundred and forty year, and begat sons and daughters:

14. കേനാന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലം ആകെ തൊള്ളായിരത്തി പത്തു സംവത്സരമായിരുന്നു; പിന്നെ അവന് മരിച്ചു.

14. and all the days of Kenan were nine hundred and ten year, and then he died.

15. മഹലലേലിന്നു അറുപത്തഞ്ചു വയസ്സായപ്പോള് അവന് യാരെദിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

15. And Mahalaliel lived sixty five year, and begat Jared.

16. യാരെദിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ച ശേഷം മഹലലേല് എണ്ണൂറ്റിമുപ്പതു സംവത്സരം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

16. And Mahalaliel after he had begot Jared lived eight hundred and thirty year, and begat sons and daughters:

17. മഹലലേലിന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലം ആകെ എണ്ണൂറ്റി തൊണ്ണൂറ്റഞ്ചു സംവത്സരമായിരുന്നു; പിന്നെ അവന് മരിച്ചു.

17. and all the days of Mahalaliel were eight hundred ninety and five year, and then he died.

18. യാരെദിന്നു നൂറ്ററുപത്തിരണ്ടു വയസ്സായപ്പോള് അവന് ഹാനോക്കിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

18. And Jared lived an hundred and sixty two year, and begat Henoch:

19. ഹാനോക്കിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ച ശേഷം യാരെദ് എണ്ണൂറു സംവത്സരം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

19. and Jared lived after he begat Henoch, eight hundred year, and begat sons and daughters.

20. യാരെദിന്റെ ആയൂഷ്കാലം ആകെ തൊള്ളായിരത്തറുപത്തിരണ്ടു സംവത്സരമായിരുന്നു; പിന്നെ അവന് മരിച്ചു.

20. And all the days of Jared were nine hundred and sixty two year, and then he died.

21. ഹാനോക്കിന്നു അറുപത്തഞ്ചു വയസ്സായപ്പോള് അവന് മെഥൂശലഹിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

21. And Henoch lived sixty five year, and begat Mathusala.

22. മെഥൂശലഹിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ച ശേഷം ഹാനോക് മൂന്നൂറു സംവത്സരം ദൈവത്തോടുകൂടെ നടക്കയും പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും ജനിപ്പിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

22. And Henoch walked with God after he had begot Mathusalah, three hundred year, and begat sons and daughters:

23. ഹനോക്കിന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലം ആകെ മുന്നൂറ്ററുപത്തഞ്ചു സംവത്സരമായിരുന്നു.

23. And all the days of Henoch were three hundred and sixty five year,

24. ഹാനോക് ദൈവത്തോടുകൂടെ നടന്നു, ദൈവം അവനെ എടുത്തുകൊണ്ടതിനാല് കാണാതെയായി.

25. മെഥൂശലഹിന്നു നൂറ്റെണ്പത്തേഴു വയസ്സായപ്പോള് അവന് ലാമേക്കിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

25. And Mathusala lived an hundred and eighty seven year and begat Lamech:

26. ലാമേക്കിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചശേഷം മെഥൂശലഹ് എഴുനൂറ്റെണ്പത്തിരണ്ടു സംവത്സരം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

26. and Mathusala after he had begot Lamech, lived seven hundred and eighty two year, and begat sons and daughters.

27. മെഥൂശലഹിന്റെ ആയൂഷ്കാലം ആകെ തൊള്ളായിരത്തറുപത്തൊമ്പതു സംവത്സരമായിരുന്നു; പിന്നെ അവന് മരിച്ചു.

27. And all the days of Mathusala were nine hundred sixty nine year, and then he died.

28. ലാമേക്കിന്നു നൂറ്റെണ്പത്തിരണ്ടു വയസ്സായപ്പോള് അവന് ഒരു മകനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

28. And Lamech lived an hundred eighty two year and begat a son,

29. യഹോവ ശപിച്ച ഭൂമിയില് നമ്മുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിയിലും നമ്മുടെ കൈകളുടെ പ്രയത്നത്തിലും ഇവന് നമ്മെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കുമെന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവന്നു നോഹ എന്നു പേര് ഇട്ടു.

29. and called him Noe saying: This same shall comfort us: as concerning our work and sorrow of our hands which we have about the earth that the LORD hath cursed.

30. നോഹയെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചശേഷം ലാമേക് അഞ്ഞൂറ്റി തൊണ്ണൂറ്റഞ്ചു സംവത്സരം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

30. And Lamech lived after he had begot Noe, five hundred, ninety and five year, and begat sons and daughters.

31. ലാമേക്കിന്റെ ആയൂഷ്കാലം ആകെ എഴുനൂറ്റെഴുപത്തേഴു സംവത്സരമായിരുന്നു; പിന്നെ അവന് മരിച്ചു.

31. And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy seven year, and then he died.

32. നോഹെക്കു അഞ്ഞൂറു വയസ്സായശേഷം നോഹ ശേമിനെയും ഹാമിനെയും യാഫെത്തിനെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

32. And when Noe was five hundred year old, he begat Sem, Ham and Japheth.
