8. ശേത്തിന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലം ആകെ തൊള്ളായിരത്തി പന്ത്രണ്ടു സംവത്സരമായിരുന്നു; പിന്നെ അവന് മരിച്ചു.

8. And alle the daies of Seth weren maad nyne hundrid and twelue yeer, and he was deed.

9. എനോശിന്നു തൊണ്ണൂറു വയസ്സായപ്പോള് അവന് കേനാനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

9. Forsothe Enos lyuede nynti yeer, and gendride Caynan;

10. കേനാനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ച ശേഷം എനോശ് എണ്ണൂറ്റിപതിനഞ്ചു സംവത്സരം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

12. കേനാന്നു എഴുപതു വയസ്സായപ്പോള് അവന് മഹലലേലിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

13. മഹലലേലിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ച ശേഷം കേനാന് എണ്ണൂറ്റിനാല്പതു സംവത്സരം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

13. And Caynan lyuede after that he gendride Malalehel eiyte hundrid and fourti yeer, and gendride sones and douytris.

14. കേനാന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലം ആകെ തൊള്ളായിരത്തി പത്തു സംവത്സരമായിരുന്നു; പിന്നെ അവന് മരിച്ചു.

14. And alle the dayes of Caynan weren maad nyn hundrid and ten yeer, and he was deed.

15. മഹലലേലിന്നു അറുപത്തഞ്ചു വയസ്സായപ്പോള് അവന് യാരെദിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

15. Forsothe Malalehel lyuede sixti yeer and fyue, and gendride Jared.

16. യാരെദിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ച ശേഷം മഹലലേല് എണ്ണൂറ്റിമുപ്പതു സംവത്സരം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

16. And Malalehel lyuede aftir that he gendride Jared eiyte hundrid and thretti yeer, and gendride sones and douytris.

17. മഹലലേലിന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലം ആകെ എണ്ണൂറ്റി തൊണ്ണൂറ്റഞ്ചു സംവത്സരമായിരുന്നു; പിന്നെ അവന് മരിച്ചു.

17. And alle the daies of Malalehel weren maad eiyte hundrid nynti and fyue yeer, and he was deed.

18. യാരെദിന്നു നൂറ്ററുപത്തിരണ്ടു വയസ്സായപ്പോള് അവന് ഹാനോക്കിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

21. ഹാനോക്കിന്നു അറുപത്തഞ്ചു വയസ്സായപ്പോള് അവന് മെഥൂശലഹിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

21. Forsothe Enoth lyuede fyue and sixti yeer, and gendride Matusalem.

22. മെഥൂശലഹിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ച ശേഷം ഹാനോക് മൂന്നൂറു സംവത്സരം ദൈവത്തോടുകൂടെ നടക്കയും പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും ജനിപ്പിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

22. And Enoth yede with God; and Enoth lyuede after that he gendride Matusalem thre hundrid yeer, and gendride sones and douytris.

23. ഹനോക്കിന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലം ആകെ മുന്നൂറ്ററുപത്തഞ്ചു സംവത്സരമായിരുന്നു.

23. And alle the daies of Enoth weren maad thre hundride and fyue and sexti yeer.

24. ഹാനോക് ദൈവത്തോടുകൂടെ നടന്നു, ദൈവം അവനെ എടുത്തുകൊണ്ടതിനാല് കാണാതെയായി.

27. മെഥൂശലഹിന്റെ ആയൂഷ്കാലം ആകെ തൊള്ളായിരത്തറുപത്തൊമ്പതു സംവത്സരമായിരുന്നു; പിന്നെ അവന് മരിച്ചു.

27. And alle the daies of Matusale weren maad nyn hundrid and nyn and sixti yeer, and he was deed.

28. ലാമേക്കിന്നു നൂറ്റെണ്പത്തിരണ്ടു വയസ്സായപ്പോള് അവന് ഒരു മകനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

28. Forsothe Lameth lyuede an hundrid and `fourscoor yeer and two, and gendride a sone;

29. യഹോവ ശപിച്ച ഭൂമിയില് നമ്മുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിയിലും നമ്മുടെ കൈകളുടെ പ്രയത്നത്തിലും ഇവന് നമ്മെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കുമെന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവന്നു നോഹ എന്നു പേര് ഇട്ടു.
