1. അപ്പോള് ശലോമോന് താന് കൂരിരുളില് വസിക്കുമെന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു;

1. Then Solomon sayde: The Lord hath spoken, howe that he wil dwell in the darcke cloude.

2. എങ്കിലും ഞാന് നിനക്കു ഒരു നിവാസാലയം, നിനക്കു എന്നേക്കും വസിപ്പാന് ഒരു സ്ഥലം പണിതിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

2. And I haue buylt thee an house of habitation for thee, and a place for thy dwelling for euer.

3. പിന്നെ യിസ്രായേല്സഭ മുഴുവനും നില്ക്കെ രാജാവു തന്റെ മുഖം തിരിച്ചു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ സര്വ്വസഭയേയും

3. And the king turned his face and blessed the whole congregation of Israel, & all the congregation of Israel stoode.

4. അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞതു എന്തെന്നാല്എന്റെ അപ്പനായ ദാവീദിനോടു തിരുവായ് കൊണ്ടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു തൃക്കൈകൊണ്ടു നിവര്ത്തിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെട്ടവന് .

4. And he sayde: Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, which hath with his handes fulfilled it that he spake with his mouth to my father Dauid, saying:

5. എന്റെ ജനത്തെ മിസ്രയീം ദേശത്തുനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവന്ന നാള്മുതല് എന്റെ നാമം ഇരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഒരു ആലയം പണിവാന് ഞാന് യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ സകല ഗോത്രങ്ങളിലും ഒരു പട്ടണവും തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തില്ല; എന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേലിന്നു പ്രഭുവായിരിപ്പാന് ഞാന് ഒരുത്തനെയും തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തതുമില്ല.

5. Since the day that I brought my people out of the lande of Egypt, I chose no citie among all the tribes of Israel to buylde an house in, that my name might be there, neither chose I any man to be a ruler ouer my people Israel:

6. എങ്കിലും എന്റെ നാമം ഇരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു യെരൂശലേമിനെയും എന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേലിനെ വാഴുവാന് ദാവീദിനെയും ഞാന് തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അവന് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

6. Sauing that I haue chosen Hierusalem, that my name might be there, and haue chosen Dauid to be ouer my people Israel.

7. യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിന്നു ഒരു ആലയം പണിയേണം എന്നു എന്റെ അപ്പനായ ദാവീദിന്നു താല്പര്യം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

7. And when it was in the heart of Dauid my father to buylde an house for the name of the Lorde God of Israel,

8. എന്നാല് യഹോവ എന്റെ അപ്പനായ ദാവീദിനോടുഎന്റെ നാമത്തിന്നു ഒരു ആലയം പണിയേണമെന്നു നിനക്കു താല്പര്യം ഉണ്ടായല്ലോ; ഇങ്ങനെ താല്പര്യം ഉണ്ടായതു നല്ലതു;

8. The Lorde sayde to Dauid my father: Forasmuch as it was in thyne heart to buylde an house for my name, thou diddest well that thou thoughtest in thyne heart.

9. എങ്കിലും ആലയം പണിയേണ്ടതു നീയല്ല; നിന്റെ കടിപ്രദേശത്തുനിന്നുത്ഭവിക്കുന്ന മകന് തന്നേ എന്റെ നാമത്തിന്നു ആലയം പണിയും എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

9. Notwithstanding, thou shalt not buyld the house: but thy sonne which is proceeded out of thy loynes, he shall buylde an house for my name.

10. അങ്ങനെ യഹോവ താന് അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത വചനം നിവര്ത്തിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; യഹോവ വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്തതുപോലെ എന്റെ അപ്പനായ ദാവീദിന്നു പകരം ഞാന് എഴുന്നേറ്റു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തില് ഇരുന്നു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിന്നു ഒരു ആലയം പണിതിരിക്കുന്നു.

10. The Lorde therefore hath made good his saying that he hath spoken: and I am rysen vp in the roome of Dauid my father, and am set on the seate of Israel, as the Lorde promised, and haue buylt an house for the name of the Lord God of Israel.

11. യഹോവ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടു ചെയ്ത നിയമം ഉള്ള പെട്ടകം ഞാന് അതില് വെച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടു.

11. And in it haue I put the arke wherein is the couenaunt of the Lorde that he made with the children of Israel.

12. അനന്തരം അവന് യഹോവയുടെ യാഗപീഠത്തിന് മുമ്പില് യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ സര്വ്വസഭയുടെയും സമക്ഷത്തു നിന്നുംകൊണ്ടു കൈ മലര്ത്തി;

12. And the king stoode before the aulter of the Lorde in the presence of all the congregation of Israel, and stretched out his handes:

13. ശലോമോന് അഞ്ചു മുഴം നീളവും അഞ്ചു മുഴം വീതിയും മൂന്നു മുഴം ഉയരവുമായിട്ടു താമ്രംകൊണ്ടു ഒരു പീഠം ഉണ്ടാക്കി പ്രാകാരത്തിന്റെ നടുവില് വെച്ചിരുന്നു; അതില് അവന് കയറിനിന്നു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ സര്വ്വസഭെക്കും മുമ്പാകെ മുട്ടുകുത്തി ആകാശത്തേക്കു കൈ മലര്ത്തി പറഞ്ഞതു എന്തെന്നാല്

13. (For now Solomon had made a brasen scaffold of fyue cubites long, and fyue cubites brode, and three of heyght, and had set it in the middes of the great courte, and vpon it he stoode and kneeled downe vpon his knees before al the congregation of Israel, and stretched out his handes towarde heauen,)

14. യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, പൂര്ണ്ണഹൃദയത്തോടെ നിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നടക്കുന്ന നിന്റെ ദാസന്മാര്ക്കായി നിയമവും ദയയും പാലിക്കുന്നവനായ നിന്നെപ്പോലെ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തിലും ഭൂമിയിലും ഒരു ദൈവവും ഇല്ല.

14. And sayde: O Lorde God of Israel, there is no god like thee in heauen and earth, which kepest couenaunt & shewest mercie vnto thy seruauntes that walke before thee with al their heartes.

15. നീ എന്റെ അപ്പനായ ദാവീദ് എന്ന നിന്റെ ദാസന്നു ചെയ്ത വാഗ്ദാനം പാലിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; തിരുവായ്കൊണ്ടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു ഇന്നു കാണുംപോലെ തൃക്കൈകൊണ്ടു നിവര്ത്തിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

15. Thou whiche hast kept with thy seruaunt Dauid my father the thinges that thou promisedst him, thou saydest it with thy mouth, & hast fulfilled it with thyne handes, as it is to see this day.

16. ആകയാല് യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, നീ എന്റെ അപ്പനായ ദാവീദ് എന്ന നിന്റെ ദാസനോടുനീ എന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നടന്നതുപോലെ നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും എന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണപ്രകാരം നടക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു തങ്ങളുടെ വഴി സൂക്ഷിക്കമാത്രം ചെയ്താല് യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തില് ഇരിപ്പാന് നിനക്കു ഒരു പുരുഷന് എന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ ഇല്ലാതെ വരികയില്ല എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നതു നിവര്ത്തിക്കേണമേ.

16. And nowe Lorde God of Israel, kepe with thy seruaunt Dauid my father the thinges that thou promisedst him, saying, Thou shalt in my sight not be without a man that shall sit vpon the seate of Israel, so that thy children take heede to their wayes to walke in my lawe, as thou hast walked before me.

17. യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദിനോടു നീ അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത വചനം ഒത്തുവരുമാറാകട്ടെ.

17. And nowe Lord God of Israel, let thy saying be true whiche thou spakest vnto thy seruaunt Dauid.

18. എന്നാല് ദൈവം യഥാര്ത്ഥമായി ഭൂമിയില് മനുഷ്യരോടുകൂടെ വസിക്കുമോ? സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തിലും സ്വര്ഗ്ഗാധിസ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തിലും നീ അടങ്ങുകയില്ലല്ലോ; പിന്നെ ഞാന് പണിതിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ ആലയത്തില് അടങ്ങുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ?

18. (And wil God in verie deede dwel with men on earth? Beholde, heauen and heauen aboue all heauens do not contayne thee, howe much lesse the house which I haue buylded?)

19. എങ്കിലും എന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, അടിയന് തിരുമുമ്പില് കഴിക്കുന്ന നിലവിളിയും പ്രാര്ത്ഥനയും കേള്ക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അടിയന്റെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥനയിലേക്കും യാചനയിലേക്കും തിരിഞ്ഞു കടാക്ഷിക്കേണമേ.

19. Let it be thy pleasure therfore to turne to the prayer of thy seruaunt and to his supplication O Lorde my God, to hearken vnto the voyce and prayer whiche thy seruaunt prayeth before thee,

20. അടിയന് ഈ സ്ഥലത്തുവെച്ചു കഴിക്കുന്ന പ്രാര്ത്ഥന കേള്ക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിന്റെ നാമം സ്ഥാപിക്കുമെന്നു നീ അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത സ്ഥലമായ ഈ ആലയത്തിന്മേല് രാവും പകലും തൃക്കണ്പാര്ത്തരുളേണമേ.

20. And let thyne eyes be open towarde this house day & night, ouer this place wherof thou hast sayde that thou wouldest put thy name there, to hearken vnto the prayer whiche thy seruaunt prayeth in this place.

21. ഈ സ്ഥലത്തുവെച്ചു പ്രാര്ത്ഥിപ്പാനിരിക്കുന്ന അടിയന്റെയും നിന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെയും യാചനകളെ കേള്ക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ വാസസ്ഥലമായ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില് നിന്നു കേള്ക്കേണമേ; കേട്ടുക്ഷമിക്കേണമേ.

21. Hearken vnto the prayers of thy seruaunt and of thy people Israel, which they pray in this place: heare thou I say, out of thy dwelling place, euen out of heauen, heare, and be mercifull.

22. ഒരുത്തന് തന്റെ കൂട്ടുകാരനോടു കുറ്റം ചെയ്കയും അവന് അവനെക്കൊണ്ടു സത്യം ചെയ്യിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു കാര്യം സത്യത്തിന്നു വെക്കുകയും അവന് ഈ ആലയത്തില് നിന്റെ യാഗപീഠത്തിന്നു മുമ്പാകെ വന്നു സത്യം ചെയ്കയും ചെയ്താല്

22. If a man sinne against his neyghbour, and take an oth agaynst hym and make him to sweare, and they both come before thyne aulter in this house:

23. നീ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു കേട്ടു പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചു ദുഷ്ടന്റെ നടപ്പു അവന്റെ തലമേല്തന്നേ വരുത്തി പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്വാനും നീതിമാന്റെ നീതിക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണം അവന്നു നല്കി നീതീകരിപ്പാനും അടിയങ്ങള്ക്കു ന്യായം പാലിച്ചുതരേണമേ.

23. Then heare thou from heauen, and do and iudge thy seruauntes, that thou rewarde the vngodly & recompence hym his way vpon his head, and iustifie the righteous, and geue him according to his righteousnes.

24. നിന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേല് നിന്നോടു പാപം ചെയ്ക നിമിത്തം അവര് ശത്രുവിനോടു തോറ്റിട്ടു തിരിഞ്ഞു നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ സ്വീകരിച്ചു കൊണ്ടു ഈ ആലയത്തില്വെച്ചു നിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കയും യാചിക്കയും ചെയ്താല്

24. And if thy people Israel be put to the worse before the enemie, because they haue sinned against thee: Yet if they turne & geue thankes vnto thy name, and make intercession, and pray before thee in this house:

25. നീ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില് നിന്നു കേട്ടു നിന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പാപം ക്ഷമിച്ചു നീ അവര്ക്കും അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാര്ക്കും കൊടുത്ത ദേശത്തേക്കു അവരെ തിരിച്ചു വരുത്തേണമേ.

25. Then heare thou from heauen, and be merciful vnto the sinne of thy people Israel, and bryng them againe vnto the lande which thou gauest to them and to their fathers.

26. അവര് നിന്നോടു പാപം ചെയ്കകൊണ്ടു ആകാശം അടെഞ്ഞു മഴ പെയ്യാതിരിക്കുമ്പോള് അവര് ഈ സ്ഥലത്തിലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞു പ്രാര്ത്ഥിച്ചു നിന്റെ നാമം സ്വീകരിക്കയും നീ അവരെ താഴ്ത്തിയതുകൊണ്ടു അവര് തങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങളെ വിട്ടുതിരികയും ചെയ്താല്,

26. When heauen is shut vp, and there be no rayne, because they haue sinned against thee: yet if they pray in this place, and confesse thy name, and repent from their sinne for the which thou chastenest them:

27. നീ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു കേട്ടു നിന്റെ ദാസന്മാരുടെയും നിന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെയും പാപം ക്ഷമിച്ചു അവര് നടക്കേണ്ടുന്ന നല്ലവഴി അവരെ ഉപദേശിക്കയും നിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്നു അവകാശമായി കൊടുത്ത നിന്റെ ദേശത്തു മഴപെയ്യിക്കയും ചെയ്യേണമേ.

27. Then heare thou in heauen, and be merciful vnto the sinne of thy seruauntes & of thy people Israel, and guyde thou them into the good way to walke in, and send rayne vpon thy lande whiche thou hast geuen vnto thy people for an inheritaunce.

28. ദേശത്തു ക്ഷാമമോ മഹാമാരിയോ വെണ്കതിര്, വിഷമഞ്ഞു, വെട്ടുക്കിളി, തുള്ളന് എന്നിവയോ ഉണ്ടായാല്, അവരുടെ ശത്രുക്കള് അവരുടെ പട്ടണങ്ങളുള്ള ദേശത്തില് അവരെ നിരോധിച്ചാല്, വല്ല വ്യാധിയോ വല്ല ദീനമോ ഉണ്ടായാല്,

28. And if ther be dearth in the land, or pestilence, corruption, or blasting of corne, grashoppers, or caterpillers, or that their enemies besiege them in the cities of their land, or whatsoeuer plage or sickenesse it be:

29. യാതൊരുത്തനെങ്കിലും നിന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേല് മുഴുവനെങ്കിലും വല്ല പ്രാര്ത്ഥനയും യാചനയും കഴിക്കയും ഔരോരുത്തന് താന്താന്റെ വ്യാധിയും ദുഃഖവും അറിഞ്ഞു ഈ ആയലത്തിങ്കലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞു കൈ മലര്ത്തുകയും ചെയ്താല്,

29. Then what supplications and prayers soeuer shalbe made of any man and of all thy people Israel, which shall know euery man his owne sore, and his owne griefe, & shall stretche out their handes towarde this house:

30. നീ നിന്റെ വാസസ്ഥലമായ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില് നിന്നു കേട്ടു ക്ഷമിക്കയും

30. Thou shalt heare from heauen, euen from thy dwelling place, and shalt be mercifull, and geue euery man according vnto all his wayes, euen as thou doest know euery mans heart: (for thou only knowest the heartes of the children of men,)

31. ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാര്ക്കും കൊടുത്ത ദേശത്തു അവര് ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കും കാലത്തൊക്കെയും നിന്റെ വഴികളില് നടപ്പാന് തക്കവണ്ണം നിന്നെ ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ ഔരോരുത്തന്റെ ഹൃദയം അറിയുന്നതുപോലെ ഔരോരുത്തന്നു അവനവന്റെ നടപ്പുപോലെ ഒക്കെയും നലകുകയും ചെയ്യേണമേ; നീ മാത്രമല്ലോ മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളെ അറിയുന്നതു.

31. That they may feare thee, & walke in thy wayes as long as they liue, in ye land which thou gauest vnto our fathers.

32. നിന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേലില് ഉള്ളവനല്ലാത്ത അന്യജാതിക്കാരന് നിന്റെ മഹത്വമുള്ള നാമവും ബലമുള്ള കയ്യും നീട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്ന ഭുജവും ഹേതുവായി ദൂരദേശത്തുനിന്നു വന്നാല് -- അവര് ഈ ആയലത്തില് വന്നു പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കും നിശ്ചയം--

32. Moreouer, the straunger whiche is not of thy people Israel, if he come from a farre lande for thy great names sake, and thy mightie hande, and thy stretched outarme: If they come I say, and pray in this house:

33. നീ നിന്റെ വാസസ്ഥലമായ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു കേട്ടു ഭൂമിയിലെ സകലജാതികളും നിന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേല് എന്നപോലെ നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ അറിഞ്ഞു നിന്നെ ഭയപ്പെടുകയും ഞാന് പണിതിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ ആലയത്തിന്നു നിന്റെ നാമം വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അറികയും ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു അന്യജാതിക്കാരന് നിന്നോടു പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കുന്നതൊക്കെയും ചെയ്തുകൊടുക്കേണമേ.

33. Thou shalt heare from heauen, euen from thy dwelling place, and shalt do according to all that the straunger calleth to thee for: That all people of the earth may knowe thy name, and feare thee as doth thy people Israel, and that they may knowe how that in this house whiche I haue buylt, thy name is called vpon.

34. നീ നിന്റെ ജനത്തെ അയക്കുന്ന വഴിയില് അവര് തങ്ങളുടെ ശത്രുക്കളോടു യുദ്ധം ചെയ്വാന് പുറപ്പെടുമ്പോള് നീ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത ഈ നഗരത്തിലേക്കും ഞാന് നിന്റെ നാമത്തിന്നു പണിതിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ ആലയത്തിലേക്കും തിരിഞ്ഞു നിന്നോടു പ്രാര്ത്ഥിച്ചാല്

34. If thy people go out to warre against their enemies by the way that thou shalt sende them, and they pray to thee in the way towarde this citie whiche thou hast chosen, euen toward the house which I haue buylt for thy name:

35. നീ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു അവരുടെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥനയും യാചനയും കേട്ടു അവര്ക്കും ന്യായം പാലിച്ചുകൊടുക്കേണമേ.

35. Then heare thou from heauen their supplication and prayer, and helpe them in their right.

36. അവര് നിന്നോടു പാപം ചെയ്കയും - പാപം ചെയ്യാത്ത മനുഷ്യന് ഇല്ലല്ലോ - നീ അവരോടു കോപിച്ചു അവരെ ശത്രുക്കള്ക്കു ഏല്പിക്കയും അവര് അവരെ ദൂരത്തോ സമീപത്തോ ഉള്ള ദേശത്തേക്കു ബദ്ധരാക്കി കൊണ്ടുപോകയും ചെയ്താല്

36. If they sinne against thee (as there is no man but he doth sinne) and thou be angry with them, and deliuer them ouer before their enemies, and they take them and carie them away captiues vnto a lande farre or neare:

37. അവരെ പിടിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോയിരിക്കുന്ന ദേശത്തുവെച്ചു അവര് തങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയത്തില് ഉണര്ന്നു പ്രവാസദേശത്തുവെച്ചുഞങ്ങള് പാപംചെയ്തു അകൃത്യവും ദുഷ്ടതയും പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു നിന്നോടു യാചിക്കയും

37. Yet if they repent in their heart in the lande where they be in captiuitie, and turne, and pray vnto thee in the land of their captiuitie, saying, We haue sinned, we haue done euyll and wickedly:

38. അവരെ പിടിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോയ പ്രവാസദേശത്തുവെച്ചു അവര് പൂര്ണ്ണഹൃദയത്തോടും പൂര്ണ്ണമനസ്സോടുംകൂടെ നിങ്കലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞു നീ അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാര്ക്കും കൊടുത്ത ദേശത്തേക്കും നീ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത നഗരത്തിലേക്കും ഞാന് നിന്റെ നാമത്തിന്നു പണിതിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ ആലയത്തിലേക്കും നോക്കി പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കയും ചെയ്താല്

38. And turne againe to thee with all their heart and all their soule in the lande of their captiuitie where they kepe them in bondage, and so pray towarde their land whiche thou gauest vnto their fathers, euen toward the citie which thou hast chosen, & toward the house whiche I haue buylt for my name:

39. നീ നിന്റെ വാസസ്ഥലമായ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു അവരുടെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥനയും യാചനകളും കേട്ടു അവര്ക്കും ന്യായം പാലിച്ചുകൊടുത്തു നിന്നോടു പാപം ചെയ്ത നിന്റെ ജനത്തോടു ക്ഷമിക്കേണമേ.

39. Then heare thou from heauen, euen from thy dwelling place, their supplication and their prayer, and iudge their cause, and be mercifull vnto thy people which haue sinned against thee.

40. ഇപ്പോഴും എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, ഈ സ്ഥലത്തുവെച്ചു കഴിക്കുന്ന പ്രാര്ത്ഥനെക്കു നിന്റെ കണ്ണു തുറന്നും നിന്റെ ചെവി ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചും ഇരിക്കേണമേ.

40. Now my God, let thine eyes be open, and thyne eares attent vnto the prayer that is made in this place.

41. ആകയാല് യഹോവയായ ദൈവമേ, നീയും നിന്റെ ബലത്തിന്റെ പെട്ടകവും എഴുന്നേറ്റു നിന്റെ വിശ്രാമത്തിലേക്കു വരേണമേ; യഹോവയായ ദൈവമേ, നിന്റെ പുരോഹിതന്മാര് രക്ഷാവസ്ത്രം ധരിക്കയും നിന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാര് നന്മയില് സന്തോഷിക്കയും ചെയ്യുമാറാകട്ടെ.

41. Nowe vp O Lorde God into thy resting place, thou and the arke of thy strength: O Lorde God, let thy priestes be clothed with health, & let thy sainctes reioyce in goodnesse.

42. യഹോവയായ ദൈവമേ, നിന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തന്റെ മുഖം ത്യജിച്ചുകളയരുതേ; നിന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദിനോടുള്ള കൃപകളെ ഔര്ക്കേണമേ.

42. O Lord God, turne not away the face of thyne annoynted: remember the mercies whiche thou hast promised to Dauid thy seruaunt.
