1. ആരോഹണ ഗീതം

1. A Song of Degrees. Lord, remember David, and all his meekness:

2. യഹോവേ, ദാവീദിനെയും അവന്റെ സകലകഷ്ടതയെയും ഔര്ക്കേണമേ.

2. how he swore to the Lord, [and] vowed to the God of Jacob, [saying],

3. അവന് യഹോവയോടു സത്യം ചെയ്തു യാക്കോബിന്റെ വല്ലഭന്നു നേര്ന്നതു എന്തെന്നാല്

3. I will not go into the tabernacle of my house; I will not go up to the couch of my bed;

4. ഞാന് യഹോവേക്കു ഒരു സ്ഥലം, യാക്കോബിന്റെ വല്ലഭന്നു ഒരു നിവാസം കണ്ടെത്തുംവരെ

4. I will not give sleep to my eyes, nor slumber to my eyelids, nor rest to my temples,

5. ഞാന് എന്റെ കൂടാരവീട്ടില് കടക്കയില്ല; എന്റെ ശയ്യമേല് കയറി കിടക്കുകയുമില്ല.

5. until I find a place for the Lord, a tabernacle for the God of Jacob.

6. ഞാന് എന്റെ കണ്ണിന്നു ഉറക്കവും എന്റെ കണ്പോളെക്കു മയക്കവും കൊടുക്കയില്ല.

6. Behold, we heard of it in Ephratha; we found it in the fields of the wood.

7. നാം എഫ്രാത്തയില് അതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു കേട്ടു വനപ്രദേശത്തു അതിനെ കണ്ടെത്തിയല്ലോ.

7. Let us enter into His tabernacles: let us worship at His footstool.

8. നാം അവന്റെ തിരുനിവാസത്തിലേക്കുചെന്നു അവന്റെ പാദപീഠത്തിങ്കല് നമസ്കരിക്കുക.

8. Arise, O Lord, into Your rest; You, and the ark of Your holiness.

9. യഹോവേ, നീ നിന്റെ ബലത്തിന്റെ പെട്ടകവുമായി നിന്റെ വിശ്രാമത്തിലേക്കു എഴുന്നെള്ളേണമേ.

9. Your priests shall clothe themselves with righteousness; and Your saints shall rejoice.

10. നിന്റെ പുരോഹിതന്മാര് നീതി ധരിക്കയും നിന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാര് ഘോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിക്കയും ചെയ്യട്ടെ.

10. For the sake of Your servant David turn not away the face of Your Anointed.

11. നിന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദിന് നിമിത്തം നിന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തന്റെ മുഖത്തെ തിരിച്ചു കളയരുതേ.

11. The Lord has sworn [in] truth to David, and He will not annul it, [saying], Of the fruit of your body will I set [a king] upon your throne.

12. ഞാന് നിന്റെ ഉദരഫലത്തെ നിന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തില് ഇരുത്തുമെന്നും

12. If your children will keep My covenant, and these My testimonies which I shall teach them, their children also shall sit upon your throne forever.

13. നിന്റെ മക്കള് എന്റെ നിയമത്തെയും ഞാന് അവര്ക്കും ഉപദേശിച്ച സാക്ഷ്യത്തെയും പ്രമാണിക്കുമെങ്കില് അവരുടെ മക്കളും എന്നേക്കും നിന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തില് ഇരിക്കും എന്നും യഹോവ ദാവീദിനോടു ആണയിട്ടു സത്യം; അവന് അതില്നിന്നു മാറുകയില്ല.

13. For the Lord has elected Zion, He has chosen her for a habitation for Himself, [saying],

14. യഹോവ സീയോനെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കയും അതിനെ തന്റെ വാസസ്ഥലമായി ഇച്ഛിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

14. This is My rest forever: here will I dwell; for I have chosen it.

15. അതു എന്നേക്കും എന്റെ വിശ്രാമം ആകുന്നു; ഞാന് അതിനെ ഇച്ഛിച്ചിരിക്കയാല് ഞാന് അവിടെ വസിക്കും;

15. I will surely bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread.

16. അതിലെ ആഹാരം ഞാന് സമൃദ്ധിയായി അനുഗ്രഹിക്കും; അതിലെ ദരിദ്രന്മാര്ക്കും അപ്പംകൊണ്ടു തൃപ്തി വരുത്തും.

16. I will clothe her priests with salvation; and her saints shall greatly rejoice.

17. അതിലെ പുരോഹിതന്മാരെയും രക്ഷ ധരിപ്പിക്കും; അതിലെ ഭക്തന്മാര് ഘോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിക്കും.

17. There will I cause to spring up a horn to David: I have prepared a lamp for My Anointed.

18. അവിടെ ഞാന് ദാവീദിന്നു ഒരു കൊമ്പു മുളെപ്പിക്കും; എന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തന്നു ഒരു ദീപം ഒരുക്കീട്ടുമുണ്ടു.

18. His enemies will I clothe with shame; but upon Himself shall My holiness flourish.
