1. നീതിമാന്മാരേ, യഹോവില് ഘോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിപ്പിന് ; സ്തുതിക്കുന്നതു നേരുള്ളവര്ക്കും ഉചിതമല്ലോ.

1. Rejoice in the Lord, good people! It is only right for good people to praise him.

2. Play the lyre and praise the Lord. Play the ten-stringed harp for him.

3. Sing a new song to him. Play it well and sing it loud!

4. യഹോവയുടെ വചനം നേരുള്ളതു; അവന്റെ സകലപ്രവൃത്തിയും വിശ്വസ്തതയുള്ളതു.

4. The Lord's word is true. You can depend on his teachings.

5. അവന് നീതിയും ന്യായവും ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നു; യഹോവയുടെ ദയകൊണ്ടു ഭൂമി നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

5. He loves goodness and justice. The Lord's faithful love fills the earth.

6. യഹോവയുടെ വചനത്താല് ആകാശവും അവന്റെ വായിലെ ശ്വാസത്താല് അതിലെ സകലസൈന്യവും ഉളവായി;

6. The Lord spoke the command, and the world was made. The breath from his mouth created everything in the heavens.

7. അവന് സമുദ്രത്തിലെ വെള്ളത്തെ കൂമ്പാരമായി കൂട്ടുന്നു; അവന് ആഴികളെ ഭണ്ഡാരഗൃഹങ്ങളില് സംഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു.

7. He gathered together the water of the sea. He put the ocean in its place.

8. സകലഭൂവാസികളും യഹോവയെ ഭയപ്പെടട്ടെ; ഭൂതലത്തില് പാര്ക്കുംന്നവരൊക്കെയും അവനെ ശങ്കിക്കട്ടെ.

8. Everyone on earth should fear and respect the Lord. All the people in the world should fear him,

9. അവന് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു; അങ്ങനെ സംഭവിച്ചു; അവന് കല്പിച്ചു; അങ്ങനെ സ്ഥാപിതമായി.

9. because when he speaks, things happen. And if he says, 'Stop!'�then it stops.

10. യഹോവ ജാതികളുടെ ആലോചനയെ വ്യര്ത്ഥമാക്കുന്നു; വംശങ്ങളുടെ നിരൂപണങ്ങളെ നിഷ്ഫലമാക്കുന്നു.

10. The Lord can ruin every decision the nations make. He can spoil all their plans.

11. യഹോവയുടെ ആലോചന ശാശ്വതമായും അവന്റെ ഹൃദയവിചാരങ്ങള് തലമുറതലമുറയായും നിലക്കുന്നു.

11. But the Lord's decisions are good forever. His plans last for generation after generation.

12. യഹോവ ദൈവമായിരിക്കുന്ന ജാതിയും അവന് തനിക്കു അവകാശമായി തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത ജനവും ഭാഗ്യമുള്ളതു.

12. What blessings there are for those who have the Lord as their God! He chose them to be his own special people.

13. യഹോവ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു നോക്കുന്നു; മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരെ ഒക്കെയും കാണുന്നു.

13. The Lord looked down from heaven and saw all the people.

14. അവന് തന്റെ വാസസ്ഥലത്തുനിന്നു സര്വ്വഭൂവാസികളെയും നോക്കുന്നു.

14. From his high throne he looked down at all the people living on earth.

15. അവന് അവരുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളെ ഒരുപോലെ മനഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ ഒക്കെയും അവന് ഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു.

15. He created every person's mind, and he knows what each one is doing.

16. സൈന്യബഹുത്വത്താല് രാജാവു ജയം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നില്ല; ബലാധിക്യംകൊണ്ടു വീരന് രക്ഷപ്പെടുന്നതുമില്ല.

16. A king is not saved by the power of his army. A soldier does not survive by his own great strength.

17. ജായത്തിന്നു കുതിര വ്യര്ത്ഥമാകുന്നു; തന്റെ ബലാധിക്യംമെകാണ്ടു അതു വിടുവിക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.

17. Horses don't really bring victory in war. Their strength cannot help you escape.

18. യഹോവയുടെ ദൃഷ്ടി തന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാരുടെമേലും തന്റെ ദയെക്കായി പ്രത്യാശിക്കുന്നവരുടെമേലും ഇരിക്കുന്നു;

18. The Lord watches over his followers, those who wait for him to show his faithful love.

19. അവരുടെ പ്രാണനെ മരണത്തില്നിന്നു വിടുവിപ്പാനും ക്ഷാമത്തില് അവരെ ജീവനോടെ രക്ഷിപ്പാനും തന്നേ.

19. He saves them from death. He gives them strength when they are hungry.

20. നമ്മുടെ ഉള്ളം യഹോവെക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അവന് നമ്മുടെ സഹായവും പരിചയും ആകുന്നു.

20. So we will wait for the Lord. He helps us and protects us.

21. അവന്റെ വിശുദ്ധനാമത്തില് നാം ആശ്രയിക്കയാല് നമ്മുടെ ഹൃദയം അവനില് സന്തോഷിക്കും.

21. He makes us happy. We trust his holy name.

22. യഹോവേ, ഞങ്ങള് നിങ്കല് പ്രത്യാശവെക്കുന്നതുപോലെ നിന്റെ ദയ ഞങ്ങളുടെമേല് ഉണ്ടാകുമാറാകട്ടെ.

22. Lord, we worship you, so show your great love for us.
