1. പ്രതികാരത്തിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, പ്രതികാരത്തിന്റെ ദൈവമേ, പ്രകാശിക്കേണമേ.
1 തെസ്സലൊനീക്യർ 4:6

1. God of vengeance -- Jehovah! God of vengeance, shine forth.

2. ഭൂമിയുടെ ന്യായാധിപതിയേ എഴുന്നേല്ക്കേണമേ; ഡംഭികള്ക്കു നീ പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്യേണമേ.

2. Be lifted up, O Judge of the earth, Send back a recompence on the proud.

3. യഹോവേ, ദുഷ്ടന്മാര് എത്രത്തോളം, ദുഷ്ടന്മാര് എത്രത്തോളം ഘോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിക്കും?

3. Till when [do] the wicked, O Jehovah? Till when do the wicked exult?

4. അവര് ശകാരിച്ചു ധാര്ഷ്ട്യം സംസാരിക്കുന്നു; നീതികേടു പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്ന ഏവരും വമ്പു പറയുന്നു.

4. They utter -- they speak an old saw, All working iniquity do boast themselves.

5. യഹോവേ, അവര് നിന്റെ ജനത്തെ തകര്ത്തുകളയുന്നു; നിന്റെ അവകാശത്തെ പീഡിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

5. Thy people, O Jehovah, they bruise, And Thine inheritance they afflict.

6. അവര് വിധവയെയും പരദേശിയെയും കൊല്ലുന്നു; അനാഥന്മാരെ അവര് ഹിംസിക്കുന്നു.

6. Widow and sojourner they slay, And fatherless ones they murder.

7. യഹോവ കാണുകയില്ല എന്നും യാക്കോബിന്റെ ദൈവം ഗ്രഹിക്കയില്ലെന്നും അവര് പറയുന്നു.

7. And they say, 'Jehovah doth not see, And the God of Jacob doth not consider.'

8. ജനത്തില് മൃഗപ്രായരായവരേ, ചിന്തിച്ചുകൊള്വിന് ; ഭോഷന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങള്ക്കു എപ്പോള് ബുദ്ധിവരും?

8. Consider, ye brutish among the people, And ye foolish, when do ye act wisely?

9. ചെവിയെ നട്ടവന് കേള്ക്കയില്ലയോ? കണ്ണിനെ നിര്മ്മിച്ചവന് കാണുകയില്ലയോ?

9. He who planteth the ear doth He not hear? He who formeth the eye doth He not see?

10. ജാതികളെ ശിക്ഷിക്കുന്നവന് ശാസിക്കയില്ലയോ? അവന് മനുഷ്യര്ക്കും ജ്ഞാനം ഉപദേശിച്ചുകൊടുക്കുന്നില്ലയോ?

10. He who is instructing nations, Doth He not reprove? He who is teaching man knowledge [is] Jehovah.

11. മനുഷ്യരുടെ വിചാരങ്ങളെ മായ എന്നു യഹോവ അറിയുന്നു.
1 കൊരിന്ത്യർ 3:20

11. He knoweth the thoughts of man, that they [are] vanity.

12. യഹോവേ, ദുഷ്ടന്നു കുഴി കുഴിക്കുവോളം അനര്ത്ഥദിവസത്തില് നീ അവനെ വിശ്രമിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു

12. O the happiness of the man Whom Thou instructest, O Jah, And out of Thy law teachest him,

13. നീ ശിക്ഷിക്കയും നിന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണം നീ ഉപദേശിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്ന മനുഷ്യന് ഭാഗ്യവാന് .

13. To give rest to him from days of evil, While a pit is digged for the wicked.

14. യഹോവ തന്റെ ജനത്തെ തള്ളിക്കളകയില്ല; തന്റെ അവകാശത്തെ കൈവിടുകയുമില്ല.
റോമർ 11:1-2

14. For Jehovah leaveth not His people, And His inheritance forsaketh not.

15. ന്യായവിധി നീതിയിലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞുവരും; പരമാര്ത്ഥഹൃദയമുള്ളവരൊക്കെയും അതിനോടു യോജിക്കും.

15. For to righteousness judgment turneth back, And after it all the upright of heart,

16. ദുഷ്കര്മ്മികളുടെ നേരെ ആര് എനിക്കു വേണ്ടി എഴുന്നേലക്കും? നീതികേടു പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നവരോടു ആര് എനിക്കു വേണ്ടി എതിര്ത്തുനിലക്കും?

16. Who riseth up for me with evil doers? Who stationeth himself for me with workers of iniquity?

17. യഹോവ എനിക്കു സഹായമായിരുന്നില്ലെങ്കില് എന്റെ പ്രാണന് വേഗം മൌനവാസം ചെയ്യുമായിരുന്നു.

17. Unless Jehovah [were] a help to me, My soul had almost inhabited silence.

18. എന്റെ കാല് വഴുതുന്നു എന്നു ഞാന് പറഞ്ഞപ്പോള് യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ ദയ എന്നെ താങ്ങി.

18. If I have said, 'My foot hath slipped,' Thy kindness, O Jehovah, supporteth me.

19. എന്റെ ഉള്ളിലെ വിചാരങ്ങളുടെ ബഹുത്വത്തില് നിന്റെ ആശ്വാസങ്ങള് എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ തണുപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
2 കൊരിന്ത്യർ 1:5

19. In the abundance of my thoughts within me, Thy comforts delight my soul.

20. നിയമത്തിന്നു വിരോധമായി കഷ്ടത നിര്മ്മിക്കുന്ന ദുഷ്ടസിംഹാസനത്തിന്നു നിന്നോടു സഖ്യത ഉണ്ടാകുമോ?

20. Is a throne of mischief joined [with] Thee? A framer of perverseness by statute?

21. നീതിമാന്റെ പ്രാണന്നു വിരോധമായി അവര് കൂട്ടംകൂടുന്നു; കുറ്റമില്ലാത്ത രക്തത്തെ അവര് ശിക്ഷെക്കു വിധിക്കുന്നു.

21. They decree against the soul of the righteous, And innocent blood declare wicked.

22. എങ്കിലും യഹോവ എനിക്കു ഗോപുരവും എന്റെ ശരണശൈലമായ എന്റെ ദൈവവും ആകുന്നു.

22. And Jehovah is for a high place to me, And my God [is] for a rock -- my refuge,

23. അവന് അവരുടെ നീതികേടു അവരുടെമേല് തന്നേ വരുത്തും; അവരുടെ ദുഷ്ടതയില് തന്നേ അവരെ സംഹരിക്കും; നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ അവരെ സംഹരിച്ചുകളയും.

23. And turneth back on them their iniquity, And in their wickedness cutteth them off; Jehovah our God doth cut them off!
