1. യഹോവ വാഴുന്നു; ഭൂമി ഘോഷിച്ചാനന്ദിക്കട്ടെ; ബഹുദ്വീപുകളും സന്തോഷിക്കട്ടെ.

1. THE LORD reigns, let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles and coastlands be glad!

2. മേഘവും അന്ധകാരവും അവന്റെ ചുറ്റും ഇരിക്കുന്നു; നീതിയും ന്യായവും അവന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനമാകുന്നു.

2. Clouds and darkness are round about Him [as at Sinai]; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne. [Exod. 19:9.]

3. തീ അവന്നു മുമ്പായി പോകുന്നു; ചുറ്റുമുള്ള അവന്റെ വൈരികളെ ദഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

3. Fire goes before Him and burns up His adversaries round about.

4. അവന്റെ മിന്നലുകള് ഭൂതലത്തെ പ്രകാശിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; ഭൂമി കണ്ടു വിറെക്കുന്നു.

4. His lightnings illumine the world; the earth sees and trembles.

5. യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില്, സര്വ്വഭൂമിയുടെയും കര്ത്താവിന്റെ സന്നിധിയില്, പര്വ്വതങ്ങള് മെഴുകുപോലെ ഉരുകുന്നു.

5. The hills melted like wax at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

6. ആകാശം അവന്റെ നീതിയെ പ്രസിദ്ധമാക്കുന്നു; സകലജാതികളും അവന്റെ മഹത്വത്തെ കാണുന്നു.

6. The heavens declare His righteousness, and all the peoples see His glory.

7. കാഹളങ്ങളോടും തൂര്യ്യനാദത്തോടുംകൂടെ രാജാവായ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് ഘോഷിപ്പിന് !

7. Let all those be put to shame who serve graven images, who boast in idols. Fall prostrate before Him, all you gods. [Heb. 1:6.]

8. സീയോന് കേട്ടു സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നു; യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ ന്യായവിധികള് ഹേതുവായി യെഹൂദാപുത്രിമാര് ഘോഷിച്ചാനന്ദിക്കുന്നു.

8. Zion heard and was glad, and the daughters of Judah rejoiced [in relief] because of Your judgments, O Lord.

9. യഹോവേ, നീ സര്വ്വഭൂമിക്കും മീതെ അത്യുന്നതന് , സകലദേവന്മാര്ക്കും മീതെ ഉയര്ന്നവന് തന്നേ.

9. For You, Lord, are high above all the earth; You are exalted far above all gods.

10. യഹോവയെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവരേ, ദോഷത്തെ വെറുപ്പിന് ; അവന് തന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാരുടെ പ്രാണങ്ങളെ കാക്കുന്നു; ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ കയ്യില്നിന്നു അവരെ വിടുവിക്കുന്നു.

10. O you who love the Lord, hate evil; He preserves the lives of His saints (the children of God), He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked. [Rom. 8:13-17.]

11. നീതിമാന്നു പ്രകാശവും പരമാര്ത്ഥഹൃദയമുള്ളവര്ക്കും സന്തോഷവും ഉദിക്കും.

11. Light is sown for the [uncompromisingly] righteous and strewn along their pathway, and joy for the upright in heart [the irrepressible joy which comes from consciousness of His favor and protection].

12. നീതിമാന്മാരേ, യഹോവയില് സന്തോഷിപ്പിന് ; അവന്റെ വിശുദ്ധനാമത്തിന്നു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്വിന് . (ഒരു സങ്കീര്ത്തനം.)

12. Rejoice in the Lord, you [consistently] righteous (upright and in right standing with God), and give thanks at the remembrance of His holiness.
