1. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു എന്തെന്നാല്

1. Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying:

2. ഇതാ, ഞാന് യെഹൂദാഗോത്രത്തില് ഹൂരിന്റെ മകനായ ഊരിയുടെ മകന് ബെസലേലിനെ പേര് ചൊല്ലി വിളിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

2. See, I have called by name, Bezaleel, son of Uri, son of Hur of the tribe of Judah;

3. അവന് കൌശലപ്പണികളെ സങ്കല്പിച്ചു ചെയ്വാനും പൊന്നു, വെള്ളി, താമ്രം എന്നിവകൊണ്ടു പണി ചെയ്വാനും രത്നം വെട്ടി പതിപ്പാനും

3. and have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom and in understanding, and in knowledge and in all manner of workmanship;

4. മരത്തില് കൊത്തുപണി ചെയ്വാനും സകലവിധമായ പണിത്തരം ഉണ്ടാക്കുവാനും ഞാന് അവനെ

4. to devise skilful designs, to work in gold and in silver, and in bronze;

5. ദിവ്യാത്മാവിനാല് ജ്ഞാനവും ബുദ്ധിയും അറിവും സകലവിധ സാമര്ത്ഥ്യവും കൊണ്ടു നിറെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

5. and in the cutting of stones for setting, and in the carving of wood, to work in all manner of workmanship,

6. ഞാന് ദാന് ഗോത്രത്തില് അഹീസാമാക്കിന്റെ മകനായ ഒഹൊലിയാബിനെ അവനോടുകൂടെ ആക്കുകയും സകല ജ്ഞാനികളുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിലും ജ്ഞാനം നലകുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. ഞാന് നിന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതു ഒക്കെയും അവര് ഉണ്ടാക്കും.

6. I myself, therefore, lo! I have given with him Oholiab, son of Ahisamach of the tribe of Dan, and in the heart of every one that is wise-hearted, have I put wisdom, so shall they make all that I have commanded thee

7. സമാഗമനക്കുടാരവും സാക്ഷ്യപെട്ടകവും അതിന്മീതെയുള്ള കൃപാസനവും കൂടാരത്തിന്റെ ഉപകരണങ്ങളൊക്കെയും

7. the tent of meeting, and the ark of the testimony; and the propitiatory which is thereupon, and all the utensils of the tent;

8. മേശയും അതിന്റെ ഉപകരണങ്ങളും തങ്കംകൊണ്ടുള്ള നിലവിളക്കും അതിന്റെ ഉപകരണങ്ങളൊക്കെയും

8. and the table, and its utensils, and the pure lampstand, and all its utensils, and the incense altar;

9. ധൂപപീഠവും ഹോമയാഗപീഠവും അതിന്റെ ഉപകരണങ്ങളൊക്കെയും തൊട്ടിയും അതിന്റെ കാലും വിശേഷവസ്ത്രങ്ങളും

9. and the altar for the ascending-sacrifice, and all its utensils, and the laver, and its stand;

10. പുരോഹിതനായ അഹരോന്റെ വിശുദ്ധ വസ്ത്രങ്ങളും പുരോഹിതശുശ്രൂഷെക്കായിട്ടു

10. and thee cloths of variegated stuff, and the holy garments, for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, for ministering as priests;

11. അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരുടെ വസ്ത്രങ്ങളും അഭിഷേകതൈലവും വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിന്നുള്ള സുഗന്ധധൂപവര്ഗ്ഗവും ഞാന് നിന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ഒക്കെയും അവര് ഉണ്ടാക്കും.

11. and the anointing oil and the fragrant incense for the holy place, according to all which I have commanded thee, shall they do.

12. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുനീ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തുകളെ ആചരിക്കേണം. ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്ന യഹോവയാകുന്നു എന്നു അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു അതു തലമുറതലമുറയായി എനിക്കും നിങ്ങള്ക്കും മദ്ധ്യേ ഒരു അടയാളം ആകുന്നു.

12. Then spake Yahweh unto Moses saying

13. അതുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങള് ശബ്ബത്ത് ആചരിക്കേണം; അതു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു വിശുദ്ധം ആകുന്നു.

13. Thou thyself, therefore, speak unto the sons of Israel, saying, Surely, my sabbaths, shall ye keep, for, a sign it is betwixt me and you to your generations, that ye may know that I Yahweh do hallow you.

14. അതിനെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കുന്നവന് മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം. ആരെങ്കിലും അന്നു വേല ചെയ്താല് അവനെ അവന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ ഇടയില്നിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണം.

14. Therefore shall ye keep the sabbath, for holy, it is unto you, he that profaneth it shall be surely put to death; verily whosoever doeth therein any work that souls shall be cut off from the midst of its people:

15. ആറു ദിവസം വേല ചെയ്യേണം; എന്നാല് ഏഴാം ദിവസം സ്വസ്ഥമായുള്ള ശബ്ബത്തായി യഹോവേക്കു വിശുദ്ധം ആകുന്നു; ആരെങ്കിലും ശബ്ബത്ത് നാളില് വേല ചെയ്താല് അവന് മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം.

15. Six days, shall work be done, but on the seventh day, is a holy sabbath-keeping of rest unto Yahweh, whosoever doeth work on the sabbath day, shall be, surely put to death.

16. ആകയാല് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് തലമുറതലമുറയായി ശബ്ബത്തിനെ നിത്യ നിയമമായിട്ടു ആചരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ശബ്ബ്ത്തിനെ പ്രമാണിക്കേണം.

16. Therefore shall the sons of Israel keep the sabbath, by making it a Day of Rest to your generations, as an age-abiding covenant:

17. അതു എനിക്കും യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള്ക്കും മദ്ധ്യേ എന്നേക്കും ഒരു അടയാളം ആകുന്നു; ആറു ദിവസംകൊണ്ടല്ലോ യഹോവ ആകാശത്തെയും ഭൂമിയെയും ഉണ്ടാക്കിയതു; ഏഴാംദിവസം അവന് സ്വസ്ഥമായിരുന്നു വിശ്രമിച്ചു.

17. between me and the sons of Israel, a sign it is unto times age-abiding, for in six days, did Yahweh make the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day, he rested, and was refreshed.

18. അവന് സീനായി പര്വ്വതത്തില് വെച്ചു മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു കഴിഞ്ഞശേഷം ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വിരല്കൊണ്ടു എഴുതിയ കല്പലകകളായ സാക്ഷ്യപലക രണ്ടും അവന്റെ പക്കല് കൊടുത്തു.

18. Then gave he unto Moses, as he finished speaking with him in Mount Sinai, the two tables of the testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God,
