1. അതിന്നു മോശെഅവര് എന്നെ വിശ്വസിക്കാതെയും എന്റെ വാക്കു കേള്ക്കാതെയുംയഹോവ നിനക്കു പ്രത്യക്ഷനായിട്ടില്ല എന്നു പറയും എന്നുത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

1. Then Moses answered, 'What if they will not believe me or listen to me? They might say, 'The Lord has not shown Himself to you.' '

2. യഹോവ അവനോടുനിന്റെ കയ്യില് ഇരിക്കുന്നതു എന്തു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു. ഒരു വടി എന്നു അവന് പറഞ്ഞു.

2. The Lord said to him, 'What is that in your hand?' Moses said, 'A stick.'

3. അതു നിലത്തിടുക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു. അവന് നിലത്തിട്ടു; അതു ഒരു സര്പ്പമായ്തീര്ന്നു; മോശെ അതിനെ കണ്ടു ഔടിപ്പോയി.

3. Then the Lord said, 'Throw it on the ground.' So Moses threw it on the ground, and it became a snake. And Moses ran from it.

4. യഹോവ മോശെയോടുനിന്റെ കൈ നീട്ടി അതിനെ വാലിന്നു പിടിക്ക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു. അവന് കൈ നീട്ടി അതിനെ പിടിച്ചു; അതു അവന്റെ കയ്യില് വടിയായ്തീര്ന്നു.

4. But the Lord said to Moses, 'Put out your hand and take it by its tail.' So Moses put out his hand and caught it. And it became a stick in his hand.

5. ഇതു അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ ദൈവവും യിസ്ഹാക്കിന്റെ ദൈവവും യാക്കോബിന്റെ ദൈവവും ആയി അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിനക്കു പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി എന്നു അവര് വിശ്വസിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ആകുന്നു

5. The Lord said, 'By seeing this they may believe that the Lord, the God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has shown Himself to you.'

6. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും അവനോടുനിന്റെ കൈ മാര്വ്വിടത്തില് ഇടുക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു. അവന് കൈ മാര്വ്വിടത്തില് ഇട്ടു; പുറത്തു എടുത്തപ്പോള് കൈ ഹിമം പോലെ വെളുത്തു കുഷ്ഠമുള്ളതായി കണ്ടു.

6. The Lord said to him, 'Put your hand inside your coat.' So Moses put his hand inside his coat. When he took it out, his hand had a bad skin disease and was white as snow.

7. നിന്റെ കൈ വീണ്ടും മാര്വ്വിടത്തില് ഇടുക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു. അവന് കൈ വീണ്ടും മാര്വ്വിടത്തില് ഇട്ടു, മാര്വ്വിടത്തില്നിന്നു പുറത്തെടുത്തപ്പോള്, അതു വീണ്ടും അവന്റെ മറ്റേ മാംസംപോലെ ആയി കണ്ടു.

7. Then God said, 'Put your hand inside your coat again.' So Moses put his hand inside his coat again. When he took it out of his coat, he saw that it had become like his other flesh.

8. എന്നാല് അവര് വിശ്വസിക്കാതെയും ആദ്യത്തെ അടയാളം അനുസരിക്കാതെയും ഇരുന്നാല് അവര് പിന്നത്തെ അടയാളം വിശ്വസിക്കും.

8. God said, 'If they will not listen to you or believe you when they are shown the first thing, they may believe when this is shown to them.

9. ഈ രണ്ടടയാളങ്ങളും അവര് വിശ്വസിക്കാതെയും നിന്റെ വാക്കു കേള്ക്കാതെയും ഇരുന്നാല് നീ നദിയിലെ വെള്ളം കോരി ഉണങ്ങിയ നിലത്തു ഒഴിക്കേണം; നദിയില് നിന്നു കോരിയ വെള്ളം ഉണങ്ങിയ നിലത്തു രക്തമായ്തീരും.

9. But they might not believe even these two things or listen to what you say. So then take some water from the Nile and pour it on the dry ground. And the water you take from the Nile will become blood on the dry ground.'

10. മോശെ യഹോവയോടുകര്ത്താവേ, മുമ്പേ തന്നെയും നീ അടിയനോടു സംസാരിച്ചശേഷവും ഞാന് വാക്സാമര്ത്ഥ്യമുള്ളവനല്ല; ഞാന് വിക്കനും തടിച്ചനാവുള്ളവനും ആകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

10. Moses said to the Lord, 'Lord, I am not a man of words. I have never been. Even now since You spoke to Your servant, I still am not. For I am slow in talking and it is difficult for me to speak.'

11. അതിന്നു യഹോവ അവനോടുമനുഷ്യന്നു വായി കൊടുത്തതു ആര്? അല്ല, ഊമനെയും ചെകിടനെയും കാഴ്ചയുള്ളവനെയും കുരുടനെയും ഉണ്ടാക്കിയതു ആര്? യഹോവയായ ഞാന് അല്ലയോ? ആകയാല് നീ ചെല്ലുക;

11. Then the Lord said to him, 'Who has made man's mouth? Who makes a man not able to speak or hear? Who makes one blind or able to see? Is it not I, the Lord?

12. ഞാന് നിന്റെ വായോടുകൂടെ ഇരുന്നു നീ സംസാരിക്കേണ്ടതു നിനക്കു ഉപദേശിച്ചുതരും എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

12. So go now. And I will be with your mouth. I will teach you what to say.'

13. എന്നാല് അവന് കര്ത്താവേ, നിനക്കു ബോധിച്ച മറ്റാരെയെങ്കിലും അയക്കേണമേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു..

13. But Moses said, 'O Lord, I ask of You, send some other person.'

14. അപ്പോള് യഹോവയുടെ കോപം മോശെയുടെ നേരെ ജ്വലിച്ചു, അവന് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തുലേവ്യനായ അഹരോന് നിന്റെ സഹോദരനല്ലയോ? അവന്നു നല്ലവണ്ണം സംസാരിക്കാമെന്നു ഞാന് അറിയുന്നു. അവന് നിന്നെ എതിരേല്പാന് പുറപ്പെട്ടുവരുന്നു; നിന്നെ കാണുമ്പോള് അവന് ഹൃദയത്തില് ആനന്ദിക്കും.

14. Then the anger of the Lord burned against Moses. He said, 'Is not Aaron the Levite your brother? I know he can speak well. Also, he is coming to meet you. And when he sees you, he will be glad in his heart.

15. നീ അവനോടു സംസാരിച്ചു അവന്നു വാക്കു പറഞ്ഞു കൊടുക്കേണം. ഞാന് നിന്റെ വായോടും അവന്റെ വായോടും കൂടെ ഇരിക്കും; നിങ്ങള് ചെയ്യേണ്ടുന്നതു ഉപദേശിച്ചുതരും.

15. You must speak to him and put the words in his mouth. I will be with your mouth and his mouth. I will teach you what you are to do.

16. നിനക്കു പകരം അവന് ജനത്തോടു സംസാരിക്കും; അവന് നിനക്കു വായായിരിക്കും, നീ അവന്നു ദൈവവും ആയിരിക്കും.

16. He will speak to the people for you. He will be a mouth for you. And you will be as God to him.

17. അടയാളങ്ങള് പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഈ വടിയും നിന്റെ കയ്യില് എടുത്തുകൊള്ക.

17. You will take this special stick in your hand. And you will use it to make the special things happen for the people to see.'

18. പിന്നെ മോശെ തന്റെ അമ്മായപ്പനായ യിത്രോവിന്റെ അടുക്കല് ചെന്നു അവനോടുഞാന് പുറപ്പെട്ടു, മിസ്രയീമിലെ എന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരുടെ അടുക്കല് ചെന്നു, അവര് ജീവനോടിരിക്കുന്നുവോ എന്നു നോക്കട്ടെ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. യിത്രോ മോശെയോടുസമാധാനത്തോടെ പോക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു..

18. Then Moses left and returned to Jethro his father-in-law, and said to him, 'I ask of you, let me return to my brothers in Egypt to see if they are still alive.' And Jethro said to Moses, 'Go in peace.'

19. യഹോവ മിദ്യാനില്വെച്ചു മോശെയോടുമിസ്രയീമിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോക; നിനക്കു ജീവഹാനി വരുത്തുവാന് നോക്കിയവര് എല്ലാവരും മരിച്ചുപോയി എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.
മത്തായി 2:20

19. The Lord said to Moses in Midian, 'Return to Egypt. For all the men who wanted to kill you are dead.'

20. അങ്ങനെ മോശെ തന്റെ ഭാര്യയെയും പുത്രന്മാരെയും കൂട്ടി കഴുതപ്പുറത്തുകയറ്റി മിസ്രയിംദേശത്തേക്കു മടങ്ങി; ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വടിയും മോശെ കയ്യില് എടുത്തു.

20. So Moses took his wife and sons and put them on a donkey, and he returned to the land of Egypt. Moses also took the special stick of God in his hand.

21. യഹോവ മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതുനീ മിസ്രയീമില് ചെന്നെത്തുമ്പോള് ഞാന് നിന്നെ ഭരമേല്പിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള അത്ഭുതങ്ങളൊക്കെയും ഫറവോന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ ചെയ്വാന് ഔര്ത്തുകൊള്ക; എന്നാല് അവന് ജനത്തെ വിട്ടയക്കാതിരിപ്പാന് ഞാന് അവന്റെ ഹൃദയം കഠിനമാക്കും.
റോമർ 9:18

21. The Lord said to Moses, 'When you return to Egypt, make sure you show Pharaoh all the works that I have placed in your power. But I will make his heart hard so that he will not let the people go.

22. നീ ഫറവോനോടുയഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുയിസ്രായേല് എന്റെ പുത്രന് , എന്റെ ആദ്യജാതന് തന്നേ.
റോമർ 9:4

22. Then say to Pharaoh, 'The Lord says this: 'Israel is My son, My first-born.

23. എനിക്കു ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്വാന് എന്റെ പുത്രനെ വിട്ടയക്കേണമെന്നു ഞാന് നിന്നോടു കല്പിക്കുന്നു; അവനെ വിട്ടയപ്പാന് സമ്മതിക്കുന്നില്ലെങ്കില് ഞാന് നിന്റെ പുത്രനെ, നിന്റെ ആദ്യജാതനെ തന്നേ കൊന്നുകളയും എന്നു പറക.

23. And I say to you, 'Let My son go. Let him work for Me.' But if you will not let him go, I will kill your son, your first-born.' ' '

24. എന്നാല് വഴിയില് സത്രത്തില്വെച്ചു യഹോവ അവനെ എതിരിട്ടു കൊല്ലുവാന് ഭാവിച്ചു.

24. The Lord met Moses at a resting place on the way and would have put him to death.

25. അപ്പോള് സിപ്പോരാ ഒരു കല്ക്കത്തി എടുത്തു തന്റെ മകന്റെ അഗ്രചര്മ്മം ഛേദിച്ചു അവന്റെ കാല്ക്കല് ഇട്ടുനീ എനിക്കു രക്തമണവാളന് എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

25. But Zipporah took a knife and cut off her son's piece of skin and threw it at Moses' feet. And she said, 'For sure you are a husband of blood to me.'

26. ഇങ്ങനെ അവന് അവനെ വിട്ടൊഴിഞ്ഞു; ആ സമയത്താകുന്നു അവള് പരിച്ഛേദന നിമിത്തം രക്തമണവാളന് എന്നു പറഞ്ഞതു.

26. Then the Lord let him alone. Zipporah said, 'You are a husband of blood,' because of the religious act of becoming a Jew.

27. എന്നാല് യഹോവ അഹരോനോടുനീ മരുഭൂമിയില് മോശെയെ എതിരേല്പാന് ചെല്ലുക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു; അവന് ചെന്നു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പര്വ്വതത്തിങ്കല്വെച്ചു അവനെ എതിരേറ്റു ചുംബിച്ചു.

27. The Lord said to Aaron, 'Go to meet Moses in the place where no people live.' So he went and met him at the mountain of God and kissed him.

28. യഹോവ തന്നേ ഏല്പിച്ചയച്ച വചനങ്ങളൊക്കെയും തന്നോടു കല്പിച്ച അടയാളങ്ങളൊക്കെയും മോശെ അഹരോനെ അറിയിച്ചു.

28. Moses told Aaron all the words of the Lord with which He had sent him. And he told him about all the special works that the Lord had told him to do.

29. പിന്നെ മോശെയും അഹരോനും പോയി, യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ മൂപ്പന്മാരെ ഒക്കെയും കൂട്ടിവരുത്തി.

29. Then Moses and Aaron went and gathered together all the leaders of the people of Israel.

30. യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ച വചനങ്ങളെല്ലാം അഹരോന് പറഞ്ഞു കേള്പ്പിച്ചു, ജനം കാണ്കെ ആ അടയാളങ്ങളും പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചു.

30. Aaron spoke all the words which the Lord had spoken to Moses. Then he did all the special works for the people to see.

31. അപ്പോള് ജനം വിശ്വസിച്ചു; യഹോവ യിസ്രായേല് മക്കളെ സന്ദര്ശിച്ചു എന്നും തങ്ങളുടെ കഷ്ടത കടാക്ഷിച്ചു എന്നും കേട്ടിട്ടു അവര് കുമ്പിട്ടു നമസ്കരിച്ചു.

31. So the people believed. When they heard that the Lord cared about the people of Israel and had seen their suffering, they bowed to the ground and worshiped.
