1. യഹോവ മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതുനോകൂ, ഞാന് നിന്നെ ഫറവോന്നു ദൈവമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ സഹോദരന് അഹരോന് നിനക്കു പ്രവാചകനായിരിക്കും.

1. The LORDE sayde vnto Moses: Beholde, I haue made the a God ouer Pharao, & Aaro yi brother shal be yi prophet.

2. ഞാന് നിന്നോടു കല്പിക്കുന്നതൊക്കെയും നീ പറയേണം; നിന്റെ സഹോദരനായ അഹരോന് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളെ തന്റെ ദേശത്തുനിന്നു വിട്ടയപ്പാന് ഫറവോനോടു പറയേണം.

2. Thou shalt speake all yt I comaude ye: but Aaron yi brother shal speake vnto Pharao, yt he maye let the childre of Israel go out of his lande.

3. എന്നാല് ഞാന് ഫറവോന്റെ ഹൃദയം കഠിനമാക്കും; മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു എന്റെ അടയാളങ്ങളും അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും പെരുക്കും.

3. Neuertheles I wil harden Pharaos hert, yt I maye multiplye my tokens & wonders in the londe of Egipte.

4. ഫറവോന് നിങ്ങളുടെ വാക്കു കേള്ക്കയില്ല; ഞാന് മിസ്രയീമിന്മേല് എന്റെ കൈവെച്ചു വലിയ ശിക്ഷാവിധികളാല് എന്റെ ഗണങ്ങളെ, എന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേല് മക്കളെ തന്നേ, മിസ്രയിംദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കും.

4. And Pharao shal not heare you, yt I maye shewe my hande in Egipte, & brynge myne armyes, euen my people the childre of Israel out of ye lande of Egipte, by greate iudgmetes.

5. അങ്ങനെ ഞാന് എന്റെ കൈ മിസ്രയീമിന്മേല് നീട്ടി, യിസ്രായേല് മക്കളെ അവരുടെ ഇടയില്നിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കുമ്പോള് ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു മിസ്രയീമ്യര് അറിയും.

5. And ye Egipcians shal knowe, yt I am the LORDE, whan I shal stretch out my hande vpon Egipte, and brynge the children of of Israel out from amonge the.

6. മോശെയും അഹരോനും യഹോവ തങ്ങളോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ചെയ്തു. അവര് അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ ചെയ്തു.

6. Moses and Aaron dyd as the LORDE comauded them.

7. അവര് ഫറവോനോടു സംസാരിച്ച കാലത്തു മോശെക്കു എണ്പതു വയസ്സും അഹരോന്നു എണ്പത്തുമൂന്നു വയസ്സും ആയിരുന്നു.

7. And Moses was foure score yeare olde, & Aaron thre & foure score yeare olde, whan they spake vnto Pharao.

8. യഹോവ മോശെയോടും അഹരോനോടും

8. And ye LORDE sayde vnto Moses & Aaron:

9. ഫറവോന് നിങ്ങളോടു ഒരു അത്ഭുതം കാണിപ്പിന് എന്നു പറഞ്ഞാല് നീ അഹരോനോടുനിന്റെ വടി എടുത്തു ഫറവോന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നിലത്തിടുക എന്നു പറയേണം; അതു ഒരു സര്പ്പമായ്തീരും എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

9. Whan Pharao sayeth vnto you: Shew youre wonders, then shalt thou saye vnto Aaron: Take thy staff, and cast it before Pharao, & it shal turne to a serpent.

10. അങ്ങനെ മോശെയും അഹരോനും ഫറവോന്റെ അടുക്കല് ചെന്നു യഹോവ തങ്ങളോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ചെയ്തു. അഹരോന് തന്റെ വടി ഫറവോന്റെയും അവന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാരുടെയും മുമ്പാകെ നിലത്തിട്ടു; അതു സര്പ്പമായ്തീര്ന്നു.

10. Then wete Moses & Aaron in vnto Pharao, & dyd as the LORDE comaunded them. And Aaron cast his staff before Pharao & before his seruauntes, & it turned to a serpet.

11. അപ്പോള് ഫറവോന് വിദ്വാന്മാരെയും ക്ഷുദ്രക്കാരെയും വിളിപ്പിച്ചു; മിസ്രയീമ്യമന്ത്രവാദികളായ ഇവരും തങ്ങളുടെ മന്ത്രവാദത്താല് അതുപോലെ ചെയ്തു.

11. Then Pharao called for ye wyse men & Sorcerers. And the Sorcerers of Egipte also dyd like wyse with their Sorceries,

12. അവര് ഔരോരുത്തന് താന്താന്റെ വടി നിലത്തിട്ടു; അവയും സര്പ്പങ്ങളായ്തീര്ന്നു; എന്നാല് അഹരോന്റെ വടി അവരുടെ വടികളെ വിഴുങ്ങിക്കളഞ്ഞു.

12. and euery one cast his staff before him, & they turned vnto serpentes. But Aarons staff deuoured their staues.

13. ഫറവോന്റെ ഹൃദയമോ, യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതുപോലെ കഠിനപ്പെട്ടു; അവന് അവരെ ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചതുമില്ല.

13. So Pharaos hert was hardened, and he herkened not vnto them, euen as the LORDE had sayde.

14. അപ്പോള് യഹോവ മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതുഫറവോന്റെ ഹൃദയം കഠിനപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; ജനത്തെ വിട്ടയപ്പാന് അവന്നു മനസ്സില്ല.

14. And the LORDE sayde vnto Moses: The hert of Pharao is hardened, he refuseth to let ye people go.

15. രാവിലെ നീ ഫറവോന്റെ അടുക്കല് ചെല്ലുക; അവന് വെള്ളത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കല് ഇറങ്ങിവരും; നീ അവനെ കാണ്മാന് നദീതീരത്തു നില്ക്കേണം; സര്പ്പമായ്തീര്ന്ന വടിയും കയ്യില് എടുത്തുകൊള്ളേണം.

15. Get ye vnto Pharao in the mornynge, beholde, he shal come vnto ye water, mete thou him vpo the waters brynke, & take ye staff which turned to a serpet, in thine hande,

16. അവനോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്മരുഭൂമിയില് എന്നെ ആരാധിപ്പാന് എന്റെ ജനത്തെ വിട്ടയക്ക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു എബ്രായരുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ എന്നെ നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് അയച്ചു; നീയോ ഇതുവരെ കേട്ടില്ല.

16. & saye vnto him: The LORDE God of the Hebrues hath sent me vnto the, & sendeth ye worde: Let my people go, that they maye serue me in the wyldernesse: but hither to thou woldest not heare.

17. ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു നീ ഇതിനാല് അറിയും എന്നിങ്ങനെ യഹോവ കല്പിക്കുന്നു; ഇതാ, എന്റെ കയ്യിലുള്ള വടികൊണ്ടു ഞാന് നദിയിലെ വെള്ളത്തില് അടിക്കും; അതു രക്തമായ്തീരും;

17. Therfore thus sayeth the LORDE: Hereby shalt thou knowe, yt I am ye LORDE. Beholde, wt the staff yt I haue in my hande, wil I smyte the water which is in ye ryuer, & it shalbe turned in to bloude:

18. നദിയിലെ മത്സ്യം ചാകും. നദി നാറും; നദിയിലെ വെള്ളം കുടിപ്പന് മിസ്രയീമ്യര്ക്കും അറെപ്പു തോന്നും.

18. so that the fishes in the ryuer shall dye, & the ryuer shall stynke: & it shall greue the Egipcians to drynke of ye water of the ryuer.

19. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടുനീ അഹരോനോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്നിന്റെ വടി എടുത്തിട്ടു മിസ്രയീമിലെ വെള്ളത്തിന്മേല്, അവരുടെ നദി, പുഴ, കുളം എന്നിങ്ങനെ അവരുടെ സകലജലാശയങ്ങളുടെ മേലും കൈ നീട്ടുക; അവ രക്തമായ്തീരും; മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു എല്ലാടവും മരപ്പാത്രങ്ങളിലും കല്പാത്രങ്ങളിലും രക്തം ഉണ്ടാകും എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

19. And ye LORDE spake vnto Moses: Saye vnto Aaron: Take yi staff, & stretch out thine hade ouer ye waters of Egipte, ouer their ryuers & brokes & pondes, & ouer all water poles, yt they maye be turned to bloude, & that there maye be bloude in all ye lande of Egipte, both in vessels of wodd and stone.

20. മോശെയും അഹരോനും യഹോവ കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ചെയ്തു. അവന് ഫറവോന്റെയും അവന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാരുടെയും മുമ്പാകെ വടി ഔങ്ങി നദിയിലുള്ള വെള്ളത്തില് അടിച്ചു; നദിയിലുള്ള വെള്ളം ഒക്കെയും രക്തമായ്തീര്ന്നു.

20. Moses & Aaron dyd as ye LORDE comaunded them, & lift vp the staff, & smote the water yt was in the ryuer, before Pharao & his seruauntes, & all the water in the ryuer was turned into bloude,

21. നദിയിലെ മത്സ്യം ചാകയും നദി നാറുകയും ചെയ്തു. നദിയിലെ വെള്ളം കുടിപ്പാന് മിസ്രയീമ്യര്ക്കും കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല; മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു എല്ലാടവും രക്തം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

21. & the fysh in the ryuer dyed, & the ryuer stanke, so yt the Egipcians coulde not drynke of the water of ye ryuer, & there was bloude in all the lande of Egipte.

22. മിസ്രയീമ്യമന്ത്രവാദികളും തങ്ങളുടെ മന്ത്രവാദത്താല് അതുപോലെ ചെയ്തു; എന്നാല് യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരുന്നതുപോലെ ഫറവോന്റെ ഹൃദയം കഠിനപ്പെട്ടു; അവന് അവരെ ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചതുമില്ല.

22. And the Sorcerers also of Egipte, dyd likewyse with their Sorceries. But Pharaos hert was hardened, & he herkened not vnto the, like as the LORDE had sayde.

23. ഫറവോന് തിരിഞ്ഞു തന്റെ അരമനയിലേക്കു പോയി; ഇതും അവന് ഗണ്യമാക്കിയില്ല.

23. And Pharao turned himself, & wente home, & set not his hert there on.

24. നദിയിലെ വെള്ളം കുടിപ്പാന് കഴിവില്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടു മിസ്രയീമ്യര് എല്ലാവരും കുടിപ്പാന് വെള്ളത്തിന്നായി നദിയരികെ ഒക്കെയും ഔലി കുഴിച്ചു.

24. All the Egipcias dygged roude aboute ye ryuer, for water to drinke: for they coude not drynke of ye water out of the ryuer.
