1. യഹോവ നദിയെ അടിച്ചിട്ടു ഏഴു ദിവസം കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോള് മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുനീ ഫറവോന്റെ അടുക്കല് ചെന്നു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഎന്നെ ആരാധിപ്പാന് എന്റെ ജനത്തെ വിട്ടയക്ക.

1. GOD said to Moses, 'Go to Pharaoh and tell him, 'GOD's Message: Release my people so they can worship me.

2. നീ അവരെ വിട്ടയപ്പാന് സമ്മതിക്കയില്ലെങ്കില് ഞാന് നിന്റെ രാജ്യത്തെ ഒക്കെയും തവളയെക്കൊണ്ടു ബാധിക്കും.

2. If you refuse to release them, I'm warning you, I'll hit the whole country with frogs.

3. നദിയില് തവള അനവധിയായി ജനിക്കും; അതു കയറി നിന്റെ അരമനയിലും ശയനഗൃഹത്തിലും കട്ടിലിന്മേലും നിന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാരുടെ വീടുകളിലും നിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്മേലും അപ്പം ചുടുന്ന അടുപ്പുകളിലും മാവു കുഴെക്കുന്ന തൊട്ടികളിലും വരും.

3. The Nile will swarm with frogs--they'll come up into your houses, into your bedrooms and into your beds, into your servants' quarters, among the people, into your ovens and pots and pans.

4. തവള നിന്റെ മേലും നിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്മേലും നിന്റെ സകലഭൃത്യന്മാരുടെ മേലും കയറും.

4. They'll be all over you, all over everyone--frogs everywhere, on and in everything!''

5. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടുമിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു തവള കയറുവാന് നദികളിന് മേലും പുഴകളിന് മേലും കുളങ്ങളിന് മേലും വടിയോടുകൂടെ കൈ നീട്ടുക എന്നു നീ അഹരോനോടു പറയേണം എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

5. GOD said to Moses, 'Tell Aaron, 'Wave your staff over the rivers and canals and ponds. Bring up frogs on the land of Egypt.''

6. അങ്ങനെ അഹരോന് മിസ്രയീമിലെ വെള്ളങ്ങളിന് മേല് കൈ നീട്ടി, തവള കയറി മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തെ മൂടി.

6. Aaron stretched his staff over the waters of Egypt and a mob of frogs came up and covered the country.

7. മന്ത്രവാദികളും തങ്ങളുടെ മന്ത്രവാദത്താല് അതുപോലെ ചെയ്തു, മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു തവള കയറുമാറാക്കി.

7. But again the magicians did the same thing using their incantations--they also produced frogs in Egypt.

8. എന്നാറെ ഫറവോന് മോശെയെയും അഹരോനെയും വിളിപ്പിച്ചുതവള എന്നെയും എന്റെ ജനത്തെയും വിട്ടു നീങ്ങുമാറാകേണ്ടതിന്നു യഹോവയോടു പ്രാര്ത്ഥിപ്പിന് . എന്നാല് യഹോവേക്കു യാഗം കഴിപ്പാന് ഞാന് ജനത്തെ വിട്ടയക്കാം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

8. Pharaoh called in Moses and Aaron and said, 'Pray to GOD to rid us of these frogs. I'll release the people so that they can make their sacrifices and worship GOD.'

9. മോശെ ഫറവോനോടുതവള നിന്നെയും നിന്റെ ഗൃഹങ്ങളെയും വിട്ടു നീങ്ങി നദിയില് മാത്രം ഇരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാന് നിനക്കും നിന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാര്ക്കും നിന്റെ ജനത്തിനും വേണ്ടി എപ്പോള് പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കേണം എന്നു എനിക്കു സമയം നിശ്ചയിച്ചാലും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

9. Moses said to Pharaoh, 'Certainly. Set the time. When do you want the frogs out of here, away from your servants and people and out of your houses? You'll be rid of frogs except for those in the Nile.'

10. നാളെ എന്നു അവന് പറഞ്ഞു; ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെപ്പോലെ ആരുമില്ല എന്നു നീ അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു നിന്റെ വാക്കുപോലെ ആകട്ടെ;

10. 'Make it tomorrow.' Moses said, 'Tomorrow it is--so you'll realize that there is no God like our GOD.

11. തവള നിന്നെയും നിന്റെ ഗൃഹങ്ങളെയും നിന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാരെയും ജനത്തെയും വിട്ടു മാറി നദിയില് മാത്രം ഇരിക്കും എന്നു അവന് പറഞ്ഞു.

11. The frogs will be gone. You and your houses and your servants and your people, free of frogs. The only frogs left will be the ones in the Nile.'

12. അങ്ങനെ മോശെയും അഹരോനും ഫറവോന്റെ അടുക്കല്നിന്നു ഇറങ്ങി ഫറവോന്റെ മേല് വരുത്തിയ തവളനിമിത്തം മോശെ യഹോവയോടു പ്രാര്ത്ഥിച്ചു.

12. Moses and Aaron left Pharaoh, and Moses prayed to GOD about the frogs he had brought on Pharaoh.

13. മോശെയുടെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥനപ്രകാരം യഹോവ ചെയ്തു; ഗൃഹങ്ങളിലും മുറ്റങ്ങളിലും പറമ്പുകളിലും ഉള്ള തവള ചത്തുപോയി.

13. GOD responded to Moses' prayer: The frogs died off--houses, courtyards, fields, all free of frogs.

14. അവര് അതിനെ കൂമ്പാരംകൂമ്പാരമായി കൂട്ടി; ദേശം നാറുകയും ചെയ്തു.

14. They piled the frogs in heaps. The country reeked of dead frogs.

15. എന്നാല് സ്വൈരം വന്നു എന്നു ഫറവോന് കണ്ടാറെ യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരുന്നതുപോലെ അവന് തന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തെ കഠിനമാക്കി അവരെ ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചതുമില്ല.

15. But when Pharaoh saw that he had some breathing room, he got stubborn again and wouldn't listen to Moses and Aaron. Just as GOD had said.

16. അപ്പോള് യഹോവ മോശെയോടുനിന്റെ വടി നീട്ടി നിലത്തിലെ പൊടിയെ അടിക്ക എന്നു അഹരോനോടു പറക. അതു മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു എല്ലാടവും പേന് ആയ്തീരും എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

16. GOD said to Moses, 'Tell Aaron, 'Take your staff and strike the dust. The dust will turn into gnats all over Egypt.''

17. അവര് അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്തു; അഹരോന് വടിയോടുകൂടെ കൈ നീട്ടി നിലത്തിലെ പൊടിയെ അടിച്ചു; അതു മനുഷ്യരുടെ മേലും മൃഗങ്ങളിന് മേലും പേന് ആയ്തീര്ന്നു; മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തെങ്ങും നിലത്തിലെ പൊടിയെല്ലാം പേന് ആയ്തീര്ന്നു.

17. He did it. Aaron grabbed his staff and struck the dust of the Earth; it turned into gnats, gnats all over people and animals. All the dust of the Earth turned into gnats, gnats everywhere in Egypt.

18. മന്ത്രവാദികളും തങ്ങളുടെ മന്ത്രവാദത്താല് പേന് ഉളവാക്കുവാന് അതുപോലെ ചെയ്തു; അവര്ക്കും കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല താനും. മനുഷ്യരുടെയും മൃഗങ്ങളുടെയും മേല് പേന് ഉളവായതുകൊണ്ടു മന്ത്രവാദികള് ഫറവോനോടു

18. The magicians tried to produce gnats with their incantations but this time they couldn't do it. There were gnats everywhere, all over people and animals.

19. ഇതു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വിരല് ആകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; എന്നാല് യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരുന്നതുപോലെ ഫറവോന്റെ ഹൃദയം കഠിനപ്പെട്ടു അവന് അവരെ ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചതുമില്ല.

19. The magicians said to Pharaoh, 'This is God's doing.' But Pharaoh was stubborn and wouldn't listen. Just as GOD had said.

20. പിന്നെ യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുനീ നാളെ നന്ന രാവിലെ എഴുന്നേറ്റു ഫറവോന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നില്ക്ക; അവന് വെള്ളത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കല് വരും. നീ അവനോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഎന്നെ ആരാധിപ്പാന് എന്റെ ജനത്തെ വിട്ടയക്ക.

20. GOD said to Moses, 'Get up early in the morning and confront Pharaoh as he goes down to the water. Tell him, 'GOD's Message: Release my people so they can worship me.

21. നീ എന്റെ ജനത്തെ വിട്ടയക്കയില്ല എങ്കില് ഞാന് നിന്റെമേലും നിന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാരുടെ മേലും നിന്റെ ജനത്തിന് മേലും നിന്റെ ഗൃഹങ്ങളിലും നായീച്ചയെ അയക്കും. മിസ്രയീമ്യരുടെ വീടുകളും അവര് പാര്ക്കുംന്ന ദേശവും നായീച്ചകൊണ്ടു നിറയും.

21. If you don't release my people, I'll release swarms of flies on you, your servants, your people, and your homes. The houses of the Egyptians and even the ground under their feet will be thick with flies.

22. ഭൂമിയില് ഞാന് തന്നേ യഹോവ എന്നു നീ അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു എന്റെ ജനം പാര്ക്കുംന്ന ഗോശെന് ദേശത്തെ അന്നു ഞാന് നായീച്ച വരാതെ വേര്തിരിക്കും.

22. But when it happens, I'll set Goshen where my people live aside as a sanctuary--no flies in Goshen. That will show you that I am GOD in this land.

23. എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്നും നിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്നും മദ്ധ്യേ ഞാന് ഒരു വ്യത്യാസം വേക്കും; നാളെ ഈ അടയാളം ഉണ്ടാകും.

23. I'll make a sharp distinction between your people and mine. This sign will occur tomorrow.''

24. യഹോവ അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ ചെയ്തുഅനവധി നായീച്ച ഫറവോന്റെ അരമനയിലും അവന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാരുടെ വീടുകളിലും മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു എല്ലാടവും വന്നു; നായീച്ചയാല് ദേശം നശിച്ചു.

24. And GOD did just that. Thick swarms of flies in Pharaoh's palace and the houses of his servants. All over Egypt, the country ruined by flies.

25. അപ്പോള് ഫറവോന് മോശെയെയും അഹരോനെയും വിളിച്ചുനിങ്ങള് പോയി ദേശത്തുവെച്ചു തന്നേ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്നു യാഗം കഴിപ്പിന് എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

25. Pharaoh called in Moses and Aaron and said, 'Go ahead. Sacrifice to your God--but do it here in this country.'

26. അതിന്നു മോശെഅങ്ങനെ ചെയ്തുകൂടാ; മിസ്രയീമ്യര്ക്കും അറെപ്പായുള്ളതു ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേക്കു യാഗം കഴിക്കേണ്ടിവരുമല്ലോ; മിസ്രയീമ്യര്ക്കും അറെപ്പായുള്ളതു അവര് കാണ്കെ ഞങ്ങള് യാഗം കഴിച്ചാല് അവര് ഞങ്ങളെ കല്ലെറികയില്ലയോ?

26. Moses said, 'That would not be wise. What we sacrifice to our GOD would give great offense to Egyptians. If we openly sacrifice what is so deeply offensive to Egyptians, they'll kill us.

27. ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഞങ്ങളോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ഞങ്ങള് മൂന്നു ദിവസത്തെ വഴി ദൂരം മരുഭൂമിയില് പോയി അവന്നു യാഗം കഴിക്കേണം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

27. Let us go three days' journey into the wilderness and sacrifice to our GOD, just as he instructed us.'

28. അപ്പോള് ഫറവോന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേക്കു മരുഭൂമിയില്വെച്ചു യാഗം കഴിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങളെ വിട്ടയക്കാം; അതിദൂരത്തു മാത്രം പോകരുതു; എനിക്കു വേണ്ടി പ്രാര്ത്ഥിപ്പിന് എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

28. Pharaoh said, 'All right. I'll release you to go and sacrifice to your GOD in the wilderness. Only don't go too far. Now pray for me.'

29. അതിന്നു മോശെഞാന് നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു യഹോവയോടു പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കും; നാളെ നായീച്ച ഫറവോനെയും ഭൃത്യന്മാരെയും ജനത്തെയും വിട്ടു നീങ്ങിപ്പോകും. എങ്കിലും യഹോവേക്കു യാഗം കഴിപ്പാന് ജനത്തെ വിട്ടയക്കാതിരിക്കുന്നതിനാല് ഫറവോന് ഇനി ചതിവു ചെയ്യരുതു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

29. Moses said, 'As soon as I leave here, I will pray to GOD that tomorrow the flies will leave Pharaoh, his servants, and his people. But don't play games with us and change your mind about releasing us to sacrifice to GOD.'

30. അങ്ങനെ മോശെ ഫറവോന്റെ അടുക്കല് നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു യഹോവയോടു പ്രാര്ത്ഥിച്ചു.

30. Moses left Pharaoh and prayed to GOD.

31. യഹോവ മോശെയുടെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥനപ്രകാരം ചെയ്തുനായീച്ച ഒന്നുപോലും ശേഷിക്കാതെ ഫറവോനെയും ഭൃത്യന്മാരെയും ജനത്തെയും വീട്ടു നീങ്ങിപ്പോയി.

31. GOD did what Moses asked. He got rid of the flies from Pharaoh and his servants and his people. There wasn't a fly left.

32. എന്നാല് ഫറവോന് ഈ പ്രാവശ്യവും തന്റെ ഹൃദയം കഠിനമാക്കി; ജനത്തെ വിട്ടയച്ചതുമില്ല.

32. But Pharaoh became stubborn once again and wouldn't release the people.
