1. യിസ്രായേല് എന്ന പേര് വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരും യെഹൂദയുടെ വെള്ളത്തില്നിന്നു ഉത്ഭവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവരും യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തില് സത്യം ചെയ്യുന്നവരും സത്യത്തോടും നീതിയോടും കൂടെയല്ലെങ്കിലും യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവത്തെ കീര്ത്തിക്കുന്നവരും ആയ യാക്കോബ്ഗൃഹമേ, ഇതു കേട്ടുകൊള്വിന് .

1. Hear these [words], you house of Jacob, who are called by the name of Israel, and have come forth out of Judah, who swear by the name of the Lord God of Israel, making mention [of it, but] not with truth, nor with righteousness;

2. അവര് തങ്ങളെ തന്നേ വിശുദ്ധനഗരം എന്നു വിളിച്ചു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവത്തില് ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ; അവന്റെ നാമം സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ എന്നാകുന്നു.

2. maintaining also the name of the holy city, and staying themselves on the God of Israel; the Lord of hosts is His name. The former things I have already declared;

3. പൂര്വ്വകാര്യങ്ങളെ ഞാന് പണ്ടുതന്നേ പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു; അവ എന്റെ വായില്നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു; ഞാന് അവയെ കേള്പ്പിച്ചു; പെട്ടെന്നു ഞാന് പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചു; അവ സംഭവിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

3. and they that have proceeded out of My mouth, and it became well known; I wrought suddenly, and [the events] came to pass.

4. നീ കഠിനന് എന്നും നിന്റെ കഴുത്തു ഇരിമ്പുഞരമ്പുള്ളതെന്നും നിന്റെ നെറ്റിതാമ്രം എന്നും ഞാന് അറികകൊണ്ടു

4. I know that you are stubborn, and your neck is an iron sinew, and your forehead bronze.

5. ഞാന് പണ്ടുതന്നേ നിന്നോടു പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു; എന്റെ വിഗ്രഹം അവയെ ചെയ്തു എന്നും എന്റെ വിഗ്രഹവും ബിംബവും അവയെ കല്പിച്ചു എന്നും നീ പറയാതെ ഇരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവ സംഭവിക്കും മുമ്പെ ഞാന് നിന്നെ കേള്പ്പിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

5. And I told you of old what [would be] before it came upon you; I made it known to you, lest you should say, [My] idols have done [it] for me; and should say, [My] graven and molten images have commanded me.

6. നീ കേട്ടിട്ടുണ്ടു; ഇപ്പോള് എല്ലാം കണ്ടുകൊള്ക; നിങ്ങള് തന്നേ അതു പ്രസ്താവിക്കയില്ലയോ? ഇന്നുമുതല് ഞാന് പുതിയതു, നീ അറിയാതെ മറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നതു തന്നേ നിന്നെ കേള്പ്പിക്കുന്നു.

6. You have heard all this, but you have not known; yet I have made known to you the new things from henceforth, which are coming to pass, and you said not,

7. ഞാന് അതു അറിഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ എന്നു നീ പറയാതെ ഇരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അതു പണ്ടല്ല, ഇപ്പോള് തന്നെ സൃഷ്ടിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇന്നേദിവസത്തിന്നു മുമ്പു നീ അതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു ഒന്നും കേട്ടിട്ടില്ല.

7. Now they come to pass, and not formerly; and you did not hear of them in former days; do not say, Yes, I know them.

8. നീ കേള്ക്കയോ അറികയോ നിന്റെ ചെവി അന്നു തുറക്കപ്പെടുകയോ ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല. നീ വളരെ ദ്രോഹം ചെയ്തു, ഗര്ഭംമുതല് വിശ്വാസവഞ്ചകന് എന്നു വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഞാന് അറിഞ്ഞു.

8. You have neither known, nor understood, neither from the beginning have I opened your ears; for I knew that you would surely deal treacherously, and would be called a transgressor even from the womb.

9. എന്റെ നാമംനിമിത്തം ഞാന് എന്റെ കോപത്തെ താമസിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; നിന്നെ സംഹരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു എന്റെ സ്തുതി നിമിത്തം ഞാന് അടങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

9. For My own sake will I show you My wrath, and will bring before you My glorious acts, that I may not utterly destroy you.

10. ഇതാ, ഞാന് നിന്നെ ഊതിക്കഴിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു, വെള്ളിയെപ്പോലെ അല്ലതാനും; ഞാന് നിന്നെ കഷ്ടതയുടെ ചൂളയില് ആകുന്നു ശോധന കഴിച്ചതു.

10. Behold, I have sold you, [but] not for silver; but I have rescued you from the furnace of affliction.

11. എന്റെ നിമിത്തം, എന്റെ നിമിത്തം തന്നേ, ഞാന് അതു ചെയ്യും; എന്റെ നാമം അശുദ്ധമായ്തീരുന്നതെങ്ങനെ? ഞാന് എന്റെ മഹത്വം മറ്റൊരുത്തന്നും കൊടുക്കയില്ല.

11. For My own sake I will do [this] for you, because My name is profaned; and I will not give My glory to another.

12. യാക്കോബേ, ഞാന് വിളിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന യിസ്രായേലേ, എന്റെ വാക്കു കേള്ക്ക; ഞാന് അനന്യന് ; ഞാന് ആദ്യനും ഞാന് അന്ത്യനും ആകുന്നു.

12. Hear Me, O Jacob, and Israel whom I call; I am the first, and I endure forever.

13. എന്റെ കൈ ഭൂമിക്കു അടിസ്ഥാനമിട്ടു; എന്റെ വലങ്കൈ ആകാശത്തെ വിരിച്ചു; ഞാന് വിളിക്കുമ്പോള് അവ ഒക്കെയും ഉളവായ്വരുന്നു.

13. My hand also has founded the earth, and My right hand has fixed the sky; I will call them, and they shall stand together.

14. നിങ്ങള് എല്ലാവരും കൂടിവന്നു കേട്ടുകൊള്വിന് ; അവരില് ആര് ഇതു പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു? യഹോവ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവര് ബാബേലിനോടു അവന്റെ ഹിതവും കല്ദയരോടു അവന്റെ ഭുജബലവും അനുഷ്ഠിക്കും.

14. And all shall be gathered, and shall hear; who has told them these things? Out of love to you I have fulfilled your desire on Babylon, to abolish the seed of the Chaldeans.

15. ഞാന് , ഞാന് തന്നേ പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് അവനെ വിളിച്ചുവരുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ വഴി സാദ്ധ്യമാകും.

15. I have spoken, I have called, I have brought him, and made his way prosperous.

16. നിങ്ങള് അടുത്തുവന്നു ഇതു കേള്പ്പിന് ; ഞാന് ആദിമുതല് രഹസ്യത്തിലല്ല പ്രസ്താവിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളതു; അതിന്റെ ഉത്ഭവകാലംമുതല് ഞാന് അവിടെ ഉണ്ടു; ഇപ്പോഴോ യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു എന്നെയും തന്റെ ആത്മാവിനെയും അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

16. Draw near to Me, and hear these words; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; when it took place, there was I, and now the Lord, [even] the Lord, and His Spirit, has sent me.

17. യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധനും നിന്റെ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പുകാരനുമായ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുശുഭകരമായി പ്രവര്ത്തിപ്പാന് നിന്നെ അഭ്യസിപ്പിക്കയും നീ പോകേണ്ടുന്ന വഴിയില് നിന്നെ നടത്തുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഞാന് തന്നേ.

17. Thus says the Lord that delivered you, the Holy One of Israel; I am your God, I have shown you how you should find the way in which you should walk.

18. അയ്യോ, നീ എന്റെ കല്പനകളെ കേട്ടനുസരിച്ചെങ്കില് കൊള്ളായിരുന്നു! എന്നാല് നിന്റെ സമാധാനം നദിപോലെയും നിന്റെ നീതി സമുദ്രത്തിലെ തിരപോലെയും ആകുമായിരുന്നു.

18. And if you had hearkened to My commandments, [then] would your peace have been like a river, and your righteousness as a wave of the sea.

19. നിന്റെ സന്തതി മണല്പോലെയും നിന്റെ ഗര്ഭഫലം മണല്തരിപോലെയും ആകുമായിരുന്നു. നിന്റെ പേര് എന്റെ മുമ്പില്നിന്നു ഛേദിക്കപ്പെടുകയോ നശിച്ചുപോകയോ ചെയ്കയില്ലായിരുന്നു.

19. Your seed also would have been as the sand, and the offspring of your belly as the dust of the ground; neither now shall you by any means be utterly destroyed, neither shall your name perish from before Me.

20. ബാബേലില്നിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിന് ; ഉല്ലാസഘോഷത്തോടെ കല്ദയരെ വിട്ടു ഔടിപ്പോകുവിന് ഇതു പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു കേള്പ്പിപ്പിന് ; ഭൂമിയുടെ അറ്റത്തോളം ഇതു പ്രസിദ്ധമാക്കുവിന് ; യഹോവ തന്റെ ദാസനായ യാക്കോബിനെ വീണ്ടെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറവിന് .

20. Go forth of Babylon, you that flee from the Chaldeans; utter aloud a voice of joy, and let this be made known, proclaim it to the end of the earth; say, The Lord has delivered His servant Jacob.

21. അവന് അവരെ ശൂന്യപ്രദേശങ്ങളില്കൂടി നടത്തിയപ്പോള് അവര്ക്കും ദാഹിച്ചില്ല; അവന് അവര്ക്കുംവേണ്ടി പാറയില്നിന്നു വെള്ളം ഒഴുകുമാറാക്കി; അവന് പാറ പിളര്ന്നപ്പോള് വെള്ളം ചാടിപുറപ്പെട്ടു.

21. And if they shall thirst, He shall lead them through the desert; He shall bring forth water to them out of the rock; the rock shall be split, and the water shall flow forth, and My people shall drink.

22. ദുഷ്ടന്മാര്ക്കും സമാധാനം ഇല്ല എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

22. There is no joy, says the Lord, for the ungodly.
