1. യിസ്രായേല് എന്ന പേര് വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരും യെഹൂദയുടെ വെള്ളത്തില്നിന്നു ഉത്ഭവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവരും യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തില് സത്യം ചെയ്യുന്നവരും സത്യത്തോടും നീതിയോടും കൂടെയല്ലെങ്കിലും യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവത്തെ കീര്ത്തിക്കുന്നവരും ആയ യാക്കോബ്ഗൃഹമേ, ഇതു കേട്ടുകൊള്വിന് .

1. Hear ye this, O house of Jacob, Who are called by the name of Israel, And from the waters of Judah came out, Who are swearing by the name of Jehovah, And of the God of Israel make mention, Not in truth nor in righteousness.

2. അവര് തങ്ങളെ തന്നേ വിശുദ്ധനഗരം എന്നു വിളിച്ചു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവത്തില് ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ; അവന്റെ നാമം സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ എന്നാകുന്നു.

2. For from the Holy City they have been called, And on the God of Israel been supported, Jehovah of Hosts [is] His name.

3. പൂര്വ്വകാര്യങ്ങളെ ഞാന് പണ്ടുതന്നേ പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു; അവ എന്റെ വായില്നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു; ഞാന് അവയെ കേള്പ്പിച്ചു; പെട്ടെന്നു ഞാന് പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചു; അവ സംഭവിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

3. The former things from that time I declared, And from my mouth they have gone forth, And I proclaim them, Suddenly I have done, and it cometh.

4. നീ കഠിനന് എന്നും നിന്റെ കഴുത്തു ഇരിമ്പുഞരമ്പുള്ളതെന്നും നിന്റെ നെറ്റിതാമ്രം എന്നും ഞാന് അറികകൊണ്ടു

4. From my knowing that thou art obstinate, And a sinew of iron thy neck, And thy forehead brass,

5. ഞാന് പണ്ടുതന്നേ നിന്നോടു പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു; എന്റെ വിഗ്രഹം അവയെ ചെയ്തു എന്നും എന്റെ വിഗ്രഹവും ബിംബവും അവയെ കല്പിച്ചു എന്നും നീ പറയാതെ ഇരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവ സംഭവിക്കും മുമ്പെ ഞാന് നിന്നെ കേള്പ്പിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

5. And I declare to thee from that time, Before it cometh I have caused thee to hear, Lest thou say, 'Mine idol hath done them, And my graven image, And my molten image did command them.

6. നീ കേട്ടിട്ടുണ്ടു; ഇപ്പോള് എല്ലാം കണ്ടുകൊള്ക; നിങ്ങള് തന്നേ അതു പ്രസ്താവിക്കയില്ലയോ? ഇന്നുമുതല് ഞാന് പുതിയതു, നീ അറിയാതെ മറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നതു തന്നേ നിന്നെ കേള്പ്പിക്കുന്നു.

6. Thou hast heard, see the whole of it, And ye, do ye not declare? I have caused thee to hear new things from this time, And things reserved that ye knew not.

7. ഞാന് അതു അറിഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ എന്നു നീ പറയാതെ ഇരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അതു പണ്ടല്ല, ഇപ്പോള് തന്നെ സൃഷ്ടിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇന്നേദിവസത്തിന്നു മുമ്പു നീ അതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു ഒന്നും കേട്ടിട്ടില്ല.

7. Now they have been produced and not from that time, Yea, before the day, and thou hast not heard them, Lest thou say, 'Lo, I have known them.'

8. നീ കേള്ക്കയോ അറികയോ നിന്റെ ചെവി അന്നു തുറക്കപ്പെടുകയോ ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല. നീ വളരെ ദ്രോഹം ചെയ്തു, ഗര്ഭംമുതല് വിശ്വാസവഞ്ചകന് എന്നു വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഞാന് അറിഞ്ഞു.

8. Yea, thou hast not heard, Yea, thou hast not known, Yea, from that time not opened hath thine ear, For I have known thou dealest treacherously, And 'Transgressor from the belly,' One is crying to thee.

9. എന്റെ നാമംനിമിത്തം ഞാന് എന്റെ കോപത്തെ താമസിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; നിന്നെ സംഹരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു എന്റെ സ്തുതി നിമിത്തം ഞാന് അടങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

9. For My name's sake I defer Mine anger, And My praise I restrain for thee, So as not to cut thee off.

10. ഇതാ, ഞാന് നിന്നെ ഊതിക്കഴിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു, വെള്ളിയെപ്പോലെ അല്ലതാനും; ഞാന് നിന്നെ കഷ്ടതയുടെ ചൂളയില് ആകുന്നു ശോധന കഴിച്ചതു.

10. Lo, I have refined thee, and not with silver, I have chosen thee in a furnace of affliction.

11. എന്റെ നിമിത്തം, എന്റെ നിമിത്തം തന്നേ, ഞാന് അതു ചെയ്യും; എന്റെ നാമം അശുദ്ധമായ്തീരുന്നതെങ്ങനെ? ഞാന് എന്റെ മഹത്വം മറ്റൊരുത്തന്നും കൊടുക്കയില്ല.

11. For My sake, for Mine own sake, I do [it], For how is it polluted? And Mine honour to another I give not.

12. യാക്കോബേ, ഞാന് വിളിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന യിസ്രായേലേ, എന്റെ വാക്കു കേള്ക്ക; ഞാന് അനന്യന് ; ഞാന് ആദ്യനും ഞാന് അന്ത്യനും ആകുന്നു.

12. Hearken to me, O Jacob, and Israel, My called one, I [am] He, I [am] first, and I [am] last;

13. എന്റെ കൈ ഭൂമിക്കു അടിസ്ഥാനമിട്ടു; എന്റെ വലങ്കൈ ആകാശത്തെ വിരിച്ചു; ഞാന് വിളിക്കുമ്പോള് അവ ഒക്കെയും ഉളവായ്വരുന്നു.

13. Also, My hand hath founded earth, And My right hand stretched out the heavens, I am calling unto them, they stand together.

14. നിങ്ങള് എല്ലാവരും കൂടിവന്നു കേട്ടുകൊള്വിന് ; അവരില് ആര് ഇതു പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു? യഹോവ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവര് ബാബേലിനോടു അവന്റെ ഹിതവും കല്ദയരോടു അവന്റെ ഭുജബലവും അനുഷ്ഠിക്കും.

14. Be gathered all of you, and hear, Who among them did declare these things? Jehovah hath loved him, He doth His pleasure on Babylon, And His arm [is on] the Chaldeans.

15. ഞാന് , ഞാന് തന്നേ പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് അവനെ വിളിച്ചുവരുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ വഴി സാദ്ധ്യമാകും.

15. I -- I have spoken, yea, I have called him, I have brought him in, And he hath made prosperous his way.

16. നിങ്ങള് അടുത്തുവന്നു ഇതു കേള്പ്പിന് ; ഞാന് ആദിമുതല് രഹസ്യത്തിലല്ല പ്രസ്താവിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളതു; അതിന്റെ ഉത്ഭവകാലംമുതല് ഞാന് അവിടെ ഉണ്ടു; ഇപ്പോഴോ യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു എന്നെയും തന്റെ ആത്മാവിനെയും അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

16. Come ye near unto me, hear this, Not from the beginning in secret spake I, From the time of its being, there [am] I, And now the Lord Jehovah hath sent me, and His Spirit.

17. യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധനും നിന്റെ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പുകാരനുമായ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുശുഭകരമായി പ്രവര്ത്തിപ്പാന് നിന്നെ അഭ്യസിപ്പിക്കയും നീ പോകേണ്ടുന്ന വഴിയില് നിന്നെ നടത്തുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഞാന് തന്നേ.

17. Thus said Jehovah, thy redeemer, The Holy One of Israel, 'I [am] Jehovah thy God, teaching thee to profit, Causing thee to tread in the way thou goest.

18. അയ്യോ, നീ എന്റെ കല്പനകളെ കേട്ടനുസരിച്ചെങ്കില് കൊള്ളായിരുന്നു! എന്നാല് നിന്റെ സമാധാനം നദിപോലെയും നിന്റെ നീതി സമുദ്രത്തിലെ തിരപോലെയും ആകുമായിരുന്നു.

18. O that thou hadst attended to My commands, Then as a river is thy peace, And thy righteousness as billows of the sea,

19. നിന്റെ സന്തതി മണല്പോലെയും നിന്റെ ഗര്ഭഫലം മണല്തരിപോലെയും ആകുമായിരുന്നു. നിന്റെ പേര് എന്റെ മുമ്പില്നിന്നു ഛേദിക്കപ്പെടുകയോ നശിച്ചുപോകയോ ചെയ്കയില്ലായിരുന്നു.

19. And as sand is thy seed, And the offspring of thy bowels as its gravel, Not cut off nor destroyed his name before Me.

20. ബാബേലില്നിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിന് ; ഉല്ലാസഘോഷത്തോടെ കല്ദയരെ വിട്ടു ഔടിപ്പോകുവിന് ഇതു പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു കേള്പ്പിപ്പിന് ; ഭൂമിയുടെ അറ്റത്തോളം ഇതു പ്രസിദ്ധമാക്കുവിന് ; യഹോവ തന്റെ ദാസനായ യാക്കോബിനെ വീണ്ടെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറവിന് .

20. Go out from Babylon, flee from the Chaldeans, With a voice of singing declare, Cause ye this to be heard, Bring it forth unto the end of the earth, Say, Redeemed hath Jehovah His servant Jacob.

21. അവന് അവരെ ശൂന്യപ്രദേശങ്ങളില്കൂടി നടത്തിയപ്പോള് അവര്ക്കും ദാഹിച്ചില്ല; അവന് അവര്ക്കുംവേണ്ടി പാറയില്നിന്നു വെള്ളം ഒഴുകുമാറാക്കി; അവന് പാറ പിളര്ന്നപ്പോള് വെള്ളം ചാടിപുറപ്പെട്ടു.

21. And they have not thirsted in waste places, He hath caused them to go on, Waters from a rock he hath caused to flow to them, Yea, he cleaveth a rock, and flow do waters.

22. ദുഷ്ടന്മാര്ക്കും സമാധാനം ഇല്ല എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

22. There is no peace, said Jehovah, to the wicked!
