1. അനന്തരം അവന് എനിക്കു മഹാപുരോഹിതനായ യോശുവ, യഹോവയുടെ ദൂതന്റെ മുമ്പില് നിലക്കുന്നതും സാത്താന് അവനെ കുറ്റം ചുമത്തുവാന് അവന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു നിലക്കുന്നതും കാണിച്ചുതന്നു.

1. Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to oppose him.

2. യഹോവ സാത്താനോടുസാത്താനേ, യഹോവ നിന്നെ ഭര്ത്സിക്കുന്നു; യെരൂശലേമിനെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന യഹോവ തന്നേ നിന്നെ ഭര്ത്സിക്കുന്നു; ഇവന് തീയില്നിന്നു വലിച്ചെടുക്കപ്പെട്ട കൊള്ളിയല്ലയോ എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

2. And the LORD said to Satan, 'The LORD rebuke you, Satan! The LORD who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! [Is] this not a brand plucked from the fire?'

3. Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the Angel.

4. അവന് തന്റെ മുമ്പില് നിലക്കുന്നവരോടുമുഷിഞ്ഞ വസ്ത്രം അവങ്കല്നിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളവിന് എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു; പിന്നെ അവനോടുഞാന് നിന്റെ അകൃത്യം നിന്നില്നിന്നു പോക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്നെ ഉത്സവവസ്ത്രം ധരിപ്പിക്കും എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

4. Then He answered and spoke to those who stood before Him, saying, 'Take away the filthy garments from him.' And to him He said, 'See, I have removed your iniquity from you, and I will clothe you with rich robes.'

5. അവന്റെ തലയില് വെടിപ്പുള്ളോരു മുടി വെക്കട്ടെ എന്നു അവന് കല്പിച്ചു; അങ്ങനെ അവര് അവന്റെ തലയില് വെടിപ്പുള്ളോരു മുടി വെച്ചു. അവനെ വസ്ത്രം ധരിപ്പിച്ചു യഹോവയുടെ ദൂതനോ അടുക്കെ നില്ക്കയായിരുന്നു.

5. And I said, 'Let them put a clean turban on his head.' So they put a clean turban on his head, and they put the clothes on him. And the Angel of the LORD stood by.

6. യഹോവയുടെ ദൂതന് യോശുവയോടു സാക്ഷീകരിച്ചതെന്തെന്നാല്

6. Then the Angel of the LORD admonished Joshua, saying,

7. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുനീ എന്റെ വഴികളില് നടക്കയും എന്റെ കാര്യം നോക്കുകയും ചെയ്താല് നീ എന്റെ ആലയത്തെ പരിപാലിക്കയും എന്റെ പ്രാകാരങ്ങളെ സൂക്ഷിക്കയും ഞാന് നിനക്കു ഈ നിലക്കുന്നവരുടെ ഇടയില് ആഗമനം അനുവദിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

7. 'Thus says the LORD of hosts: 'If you will walk in My ways, And if you will keep My command, Then you shall also judge My house, And likewise have charge of My courts; I will give you places to walk Among these who stand here.

8. മഹാപുരോഹിതനായ യോശുവേ, നീയും നിന്റെ മുമ്പില് ഇരിക്കുന്ന നിന്റെ കൂട്ടുകാരും കേട്ടുകൊള്വിന് ! അവര് അത്ഭുതലക്ഷണപുരുഷന്മാരല്ലോ; ഞാന് എന്റെ ദാസനായ മുള എന്നവനെ വരുത്തും.

8. 'Hear, O Joshua, the high priest, You and your companions who sit before you, For they are a wondrous sign; For behold, I am bringing forth My Servant the BRANCH.

9. ഞാന് യോശുവയുടെ മുമ്പില് വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന കല്ലുണ്ടല്ലോ; ഒരേ കല്ലിന്മേല് ഏഴു കണ്ണും ഉണ്ടു; ഞാന് അതിന്റെ കൊത്തുപണി കൊത്തും; ഒരു ദിവസത്തില് ഞാന് ദേശത്തിന്റെ അകൃത്യം പോക്കും എന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

9. For behold, the stone That I have laid before Joshua: Upon the stone [are] seven eyes. Behold, I will engrave its inscription,' Says the LORD of hosts, 'And I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.

10. അന്നാളില് നിങ്ങള് ഔരോരുത്തന് താന്താന്റെ കൂട്ടുകാരനെ മുന്തിരിവള്ളിയുടെ കീഴിലേക്കും അത്തിവൃക്ഷത്തിന് കീഴിലേക്കും ക്ഷണിക്കും എന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

10. In that day,' says the LORD of hosts, 'Everyone will invite his neighbor Under his vine and under his fig tree.' '
