1. ഞാന് വീണ്ടും തല പൊക്കി നോക്കിയപ്പോള് രണ്ടു പര്വ്വതങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില്നിന്നു നാലു രഥം പുറപ്പെടുന്നതു കണ്ടു; ആ പര്വ്വതങ്ങളോ താമ്രപര്വ്വതങ്ങള് ആയിരുന്നു.

1. Againe, I turned and lift vp mine eyes, and looked: and beholde, there came foure charets out from betweene two mountaines, and the mountaines were mountaines of brasse.

2. In the first charet were red horses, and in the second charet blacke horses,

3. And in the thirde charet white horses, and in the fourth charet, horses of diuers colours, and reddish.

4. എന്നോടു സംസാരിക്കുന്ന ദൂതനോടുയജമാനനേ, ഇതു എന്താകുന്നു എന്നു ഞാന് ചോദിച്ചു.

4. Then I answered, and saide vnto the Angell that talked with mee, What are these, my Lord?

5. ദൂതന് എന്നോടു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതുഇതു സര്വ്വഭൂമിയുടെയും കര്ത്താവിന്റെ സന്നിധിയില് നിന്നിട്ടു പുറപ്പെടുന്ന ആകാശത്തിലെ നാലു കാറ്റു ആകുന്നു.

5. And the Angell answered, and sayde vnto mee, These are the foure spirites of the heauen, which goe foorth from standing with the Lord of all the earth.

6. കറുത്ത കുതിരകള് ഉള്ളതു വടക്കെ ദേശത്തിലേക്കു പുറപ്പെട്ടു; വെളുത്തവ അവയുടെ പിന്നാലെ പുറപ്പെട്ടു; പുള്ളിയുള്ളവ തെക്കേ ദേശത്തേക്കു പുറപ്പെട്ടു.

6. That with the blacke horse went forth into the land of the North, and the white went out after them, and they of diuers colours went forth toward the South countrey.

7. കുരാല്നിറമുള്ളവ പുറപ്പെട്ടു ഭൂമിയില് ഊടാടി സഞ്ചരിപ്പാന് നോക്കിനിങ്ങള് പോയി ഭൂമിയില് ഊടാടി സഞ്ചരിപ്പിന് എന്നു അവന് കല്പിച്ചു; അങ്ങനെ അവ ഭൂമിയില് ഊടാടി സഞ്ചരിച്ചു.

7. And the reddish went out, and required to go, and passe through the world, and he sayde, Goe passe through the worlde. So they went thorowout the world.

8. അവന് എന്നോടു ഉറക്കെ വിളിച്ചു; വടക്കെ ദേശത്തേക്കു പുറപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നവ വടക്കെ ദേശത്തിങ്കല് എന്റെ കോപത്തെ ശമിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

8. Then cryed hee vpon me, and spake vnto me, saying, Beholde, these that goe towarde the North countrey, haue pacified my spirit in the North countrey.

9. യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

9. And the worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying,

10. നീ ഹെല്ദായി, തോബീയാവു, യെദായാവു എന്നീ പ്രവാസികളോടു വാങ്ങുക; അവര് ബാബേലില്നിന്നു വന്നെത്തിയിരിക്കുന്ന സെഫന്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ യോശീയാവിന്റെ വീട്ടില് നീ അന്നു തന്നേ ചെല്ലേണം.

10. Take of them of ye captiuitie, euen of Heldai, and of Tobijah, and Iedaiah, which are come from Babel, and come thou the same day, and goe vnto the house of Ioshiah, the sonne of Zephaniah.

11. അവരോടു നീ വെള്ളിയും പൊന്നും വാങ്ങി കിരീടം ഉണ്ടാക്കി മഹാപുരോഹിതനായി യെഹോസാദാക്കിന്റെ മകനായ യോശുവയുടെ തലയില് വെച്ചു അവനോടു പറയേണ്ടതെന്തെന്നാല്

11. Take euen siluer, and golde, and make crownes, and set them vpon the head of Iehoshua, the sonne of Iehozadak the hie Priest,

12. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുമുള എന്നു പേരുള്ളൊരു പുരുഷനുണ്ടല്ലോ; അവന് തന്റെ നിലയില്നിന്നു മുളെച്ചുവന്നു യഹോവയുടെ മന്ദിരം പണിയും.

12. And speake vnto him, saying, Thus speaketh the Lord of hostes, and sayth, Behold the man whose name is the Branch, and he shall growe vp out of his place, and he shall build the Temple of the Lord.

13. അവന് തന്നേ യഹോവയുടെ മന്ദിരം പണിയും; അവന് ബഹുമാനഭൂഷണം ധരിച്ചു സിംഹാസനത്തില് ഇരുന്നു വാഴും; അവന് സിംഹാസനത്തില് പുരോഹിതനുമായിരിക്കും; ഇരുവര്ക്കും തമ്മില് സമാധാനമന്ത്രണം ഉണ്ടാകും.

13. Euen hee shall build the Temple of the Lord, and he shall beare the glory, and shall sit and rule vpon his throne, and he shalbe a Priest vpon his throne, and the counsell of peace shall be betweene them both.

14. ആ കിരീടമോ, ഹേലെം, തോബീയാവു, യെദായാവു, സെഫന്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ ഹേന് എന്നിവരുടെ ഔര്മ്മെക്കായി യഹോവയുടെ മന്ദിരത്തില് ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കേണം.

14. And the crownes shall be to Helem, and to Tobijah, and to Iedaiah, and to Hen the sonne of Zephaniah, for a memoriall in the Temple of the Lord.

15. എന്നാല് ദൂരസ്ഥന്മാര് വന്നു യഹോവയുടെ മന്ദിരത്തിങ്കല് പണിയും; സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ എന്നെ നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കല് അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയും; നിങ്ങള് ശ്രദ്ധയോടെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ വാക്കു കേട്ടനുസരിക്കുമെങ്കില് അതു സംഭവിക്കും.

15. And they that are farre off, shall come and build in the Temple of the Lord, and ye shall know, that the Lord of hostes hath sent me vnto you. And this shall come to passe, if ye will obey the voyce of the Lord your God.
