1. അവര് മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടതിന്റെ രണ്ടാം സംവത്സരം രണ്ടാം മാസം ഒന്നാം തിയ്യതി യഹോവ സീനായിമരുഭൂമിയില് സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില്വെച്ചു മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു എന്തെന്നാല്

1. And the LORD spoke unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of the testimony, on the first of the second month, in the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying,

2. നിങ്ങള് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളില് ഗോത്രംഗോത്രമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും സകലപുരുഷന്മാരെയും ആളാംപ്രതി പേര്വഴി ചാര്ത്തി സംഘത്തിന്റെ ആകത്തുക എടുക്കേണം.

2. Take the sum of all the congregation of the sons of Israel by their families, by the houses of their fathers, with the number of [their] names, every male by their polls,

3. നീയും അഹരോനും യിസ്രായേലില് ഇരുപതു വയസ്സുമുതല് മേലോട്ടു, യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവാന് പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള എല്ലാവരെയും ഗണംഗണമായി എണ്ണേണം.

3. from twenty years old and upward, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel; thou and Aaron shall number them by their hosts.

4. ഔരോ ഗോത്രത്തില്നിന്നു തന്റെ കുടുംബത്തില് തലവനായ ഒരുത്തന് നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കേണം.

4. And with you there shall be a man of every tribe, every one head of the house of his fathers.

5. നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ നില്ക്കേണ്ടുന്ന പുരുഷന്മാരുടെ പേരാവിതുരൂബേന് ഗോത്രത്തില് ശെദേയൂരിന്റെ മകന് എലീസൂര്;

5. And these [are] the names of the men that shall stand with you: of [the tribe of] Reuben, Elizur, the son of Shedeur;

6. ശിമെയോന് ഗോത്രത്തില് സൂരീശദ്ദായിയുടെ മകന് ശെലൂമീയേല്;

6. of Simeon, Shelumiel, the son of Zurishaddai;

7. യെഹൂദാഗോത്രത്തില് അമ്മീനാദാബിന്റെ മകന് നഹശോന് ;

7. of Judah, Nahshon, the son of Amminadab;

8. യിസ്സാഖാര് ഗോത്രത്തില് സൂവാരിന്റെ മകന് നെഥനയേല്;

8. of Issachar, Nethaneel, the son of Zuar;

9. സെബൂലൂന് ഗോത്രത്തില് ഹോലോന്റെ മകന് എലീയാബ്;

9. of Zebulun, Eliab, the son of Helon;

10. യോസേഫിന്റെ മക്കളില് എഫ്രയീംഗോത്രത്തില് അമ്മീഹൂദിന്റെ മകന് എലീശാമാ; മനശ്ശെഗോത്രത്തില് പെദാസൂരിന്റെ മകന് ഗമലീയേല്;

10. of the sons of Joseph, of Ephraim, Elishama, the son of Ammihud; of Manasseh, Gamaliel, the son of Pedahzur;

11. ബെന്യാമീന് ഗോത്രത്തില് ഗിദെയോനിയുടെ മകന് അബീദാന് ;

11. of Benjamin, Abidan, the son of Gideoni;

12. ദാന് ഗോത്രത്തില് അമ്മീശദ്ദായിയുടെ മകന് അഹീയേസെര്;

12. of Dan, Ahiezer, the son of Ammishaddai;

13. ആശേര്ഗോത്രത്തില് ഒക്രാന്റെ മകന് പഗീയേല്;

13. of Asher, Pagiel, the son of Ocran;

14. ഗാദ് ഗോത്രത്തില് ദെയൂവേലിന്റെ മകന് എലീയാസാഫ്;

14. of Gad, Eliasaph, the son of Deuel;

15. നഫ്താലിഗോത്രത്തില് ഏനാന്റെ മകന് അഹീര.

15. of Naphtali, Ahira, the son of Enan;

16. ഇവര് സംഘത്തില്നിന്നു വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരും തങ്ങളുടെ പിതൃഗോത്രങ്ങളില് പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും യിസ്രായേലില് സഹസ്രാധിപന്മാരും ആയിരുന്നു.

16. these [were] the renowned of the congregation, princes of the tribes of their fathers, captains of the thousands of Israel.

17. കുറിക്കപ്പെട്ട ഈ പുരുഷന്മാരെ മോശെയും അഹരോനും കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുപോയി.

17. And Moses and Aaron took these men who were designated by [their] names,

18. രണ്ടാം മാസം ഒന്നാം തിയ്യതി അവര് സര്വ്വസഭയെയും വിളിച്ചുകൂട്ടി; അവര് ഗോത്രം ഗോത്രമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ആളാംപ്രതി ഇരുപതു വയസ്സുമുതല് മോലോട്ടു പേരു പേരായി താന്താങ്ങളുടെ വംശവിവരം അറിയിച്ചു.

18. and they assembled all the congregation together on the first of the second month, and they were gathered by their lineages, by the houses of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, by their polls,

19. യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു പോലെ അവന് സീനായിമരുഭൂമിയില്വെച്ചു അവരുടെ എണ്ണമെടുത്തു.

19. as the LORD had commanded Moses; and he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.

20. യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ മൂത്തമകനായ രൂബേന്റെ മക്കളുടെ സന്തതികള് കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ആളാംപ്രതി ഇരുപതു വയസ്സുമുതല് മേലോട്ടു, യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരും

20. And the sons of Reuben, [the] firstborn of Israel, by their generations, after their families, by the houses of their fathers, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

21. പേരുപേരായി രൂബേന് ഗോത്രത്തില് എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവര് നാല്പത്താറായിരത്തഞ്ഞൂറു പേര്.

21. those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Reuben, [were] forty-six thousand five hundred.

22. ശിമെയോന്റെ മക്കളുടെ സന്തതികളില് കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ആളാംപ്രതി ഇരുപതു വയസ്സുമുതല് മേലോട്ടു യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരും

22. Of the sons of Simeon, by their generations, after their families, by the houses of their fathers, those that were numbered of him, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

23. പേരുപേരായി ശിമെയോന് ഗോത്രത്തില് എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവര് അമ്പത്തൊമ്പതിനായിരത്തി മുന്നൂറു പേര്.

23. those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Simeon, [were] fifty-nine thousand three hundred.

24. ഗാദിന്റെ മക്കളുടെ സന്തതികളില് കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ഇരുപതു വയസ്സുമുതല് മേലോട്ടു യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരും പേരുപേരായി

24. Of the sons of Gad, by their generations, after their families, by the houses of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

25. ഗാദ് ഗോത്രത്തില് എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവര് നാല്പത്തയ്യായിരത്തറുനൂറ്റമ്പതു പേര്.

25. those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Gad, [were] forty-five thousand six hundred and fifty.

26. യെഹൂദയുടെ മക്കളുടെ സന്തതികളില് കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ഇരുപതു വയസ്സുമുതല് മേലോട്ടു യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരും പേരുപേരായി

26. Of the sons of Judah, by their generations, after their families, by the houses of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

27. യെഹൂദാഗോത്രത്തില് എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവര് എഴുപത്തുനാലായിരത്തറുനൂറു പേര്.

27. those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Judah, [were] seventy-four thousand six hundred.

28. യിസ്സാഖാരിന്റെ മക്കളുടെ സന്തതികളില് കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ഇരുപതു വയസ്സുമുതല് മേലോട്ടു യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരും പേരുപേരായി

28. Of the sons of Issachar, by their generations, after their families, by the houses of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

29. യിസ്സാഖാര്ഗോത്രത്തില് എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവര് അമ്പത്തുനാലായിരത്തി നാനൂറു പേര്.

29. those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Issachar, [were] fifty-four thousand four hundred.

30. സെബൂലൂന്റെ മക്കളുടെ സന്തതികളില് കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ഇരുപതു വയസ്സുമുതല് മേലോട്ടു യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരും

30. Of the sons of Zebulun, by their generations, after their families, by the houses of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

31. പേരു പേരായി സെബൂലൂന് ഗോത്രത്തില് എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവര് അമ്പത്തേഴായിരത്തി നാനൂറു പേര്.

31. those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Zebulun, [were] fifty-seven thousand four hundred.

32. യോസേഫിന്റെ മക്കളില് എഫ്രയീമിന്റെ മക്കളുടെ സന്തതികളില് കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ഇരുപതു വയസ്സുമുതല് മേലോട്ടു യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരും

32. Of the sons of Joseph: of the sons of Ephraim, by their generations, after their families, by the houses of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

33. പേരുപേരായി എഫ്രയീംഗോത്രത്തില് എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവര് നാല്പതിനായിരത്തഞ്ഞൂറു പേര്.

33. those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Ephraim, [were] forty thousand five hundred; [and]

34. മനശ്ശെയുടെ മക്കളുടെ സന്തതികളില് കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ഇരുപതു വയസ്സുമുതല് മേലോട്ടു യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരും പേരുപേരായി

34. of the sons of Manasseh, by their generations, after their families, by the houses of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

35. മനശ്ശെഗോത്രത്തില് എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവര് മുപ്പത്തീരായിരത്തിരുനൂറു പേര്.

35. those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Manasseh, [were] thirty-two thousand two hundred.

36. ബെന്യാമീന്റെ മക്കളുടെ സന്തതികളില് കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ഇരുപതു വയസ്സുമുതല് മേലോട്ടു യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരും പേരുപേരായി

36. Of the sons of Benjamin, by their generations, after their families, by the houses of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

37. ബെന്യാമീന് ഗോത്രത്തില് എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവര് മുപ്പത്തയ്യായിരത്തി നാനൂറു പേര്.

37. those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Benjamin, [were] thirty-five thousand four hundred.

38. ദാന്റെ മക്കളുടെ സന്തതികളില് കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ഇരുപതു വയസ്സുമുതല് മേലോട്ടു യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരും പേരുപേരായി

38. Of the sons of Dan, by their generations, after their families, by the houses of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

39. ദാന് ഗോത്രത്തില് എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവര് അറുപത്തീരായിരത്തെഴുനൂറു പേര്.

39. those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Dan, [were] sixty-two thousand seven hundred.

40. ആശേരിന്റെ മക്കളുടെ സന്തതികളില് കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ഇരുപതു വയസ്സുമുതല് മേലോട്ടു യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരും പേരുപേരായി

40. Of the sons of Asher, by their generations, after their families, by the houses of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

41. ആശേര്ഗോത്രത്തില് എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവര് നാല്പത്തോരായിരത്തഞ്ഞൂറു പേര്.

41. those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Asher, [were] forty-one thousand five hundred.

42. നഫ്താലിയുടെ മക്കളുടെ സന്തതികളില് കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ഇരുപതു വയസ്സുമുതല് മേലോട്ടു യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരും പേരുപേരായി

42. Of the sons of Naphtali, by their generations, after their families, by the houses of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

43. നഫ്താലിഗോത്രത്തില് എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവര് അമ്പത്തുമൂവായിരത്തി നാനൂറു പേര്.

43. those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Naphtali, [were] fifty-three thousand four hundred.

44. മോശെയും അഹരോനും ഗോത്രത്തിന്നു ഒരുവന് വീതം യിസ്രായേല്പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരായ പന്ത്രണ്ടു പുരുഷന്മാരും കൂടി എണ്ണമെടുത്തവര് ഇവര് തന്നേ.

44. These [are] those that were numbered, which Moses and Aaron numbered, and the twelve princes of Israel, one man for each house of his fathers.

45. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളില് ഗോത്രംഗോത്രമായി ഇരുപതു വയസ്സുമുതല് മേലോട്ടു യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരുമായി

45. So were all those that were numbered of the sons of Israel, by the houses of their fathers, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war in Israel;

46. എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവര് ആകെ ആറു ലക്ഷത്തി മൂവായിരത്തഞ്ഞൂറ്റമ്പതു പേര് ആയിരുന്നു.

46. all those that were numbered were six hundred and three thousand five hundred and fifty.

47. ഇവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില് ലേവ്യരെ പിതൃഗോത്രമായി എണ്ണിയില്ല.

47. But the Levites according to the tribe of their fathers were not numbered among them.

48. ലേവിഗോത്രത്തെ മാത്രം എണ്ണരുതു;

48. For the LORD had spoken unto Moses, saying,

49. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ ഇടയില് അവരുടെ സംഖ്യ എടുക്കയും അരുതു എന്നു യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചിരുന്നു.

49. Only thou shalt not number the tribe of Levi, neither take the sum of them among the sons of Israel;

50. ലേവ്യരെ സാക്ഷ്യനിവാസത്തിന്നും അതിന്റെ ഉപകരണങ്ങള്ക്കും വസ്തുക്കള്ക്കും ഒക്കെ വിചാരകന്മാരായി നിയമിക്കേണം; അവര് തിരുനിവാസവും അതിന്റെ ഉപകരണങ്ങളൊക്കെയും വഹിക്കേണം; അവര് അതിന്നു ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്കയും തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്റെ ചുറ്റും പാളയമടിച്ചു പാര്ക്കയും വേണം.

50. But thou shalt place the Levites in the tabernacle of the testimony and over all the vessels thereof and over all things that [belong] to it; they shall bear the tabernacle and all the vessels thereof; and they shall minister in it and shall encamp round about the tabernacle.

51. തിരുനിവാസം പുറപ്പെടുമ്പോള് ലേവ്യര് അതു അഴിച്ചെടുക്കേണം; തിരുനിവാസം അടിക്കുമ്പോള് ലേവ്യര് അതു നിവിര്ത്തേണം; ഒരന്യന് അടുത്തുവന്നാല് മരണ ശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം.

51. And when the tabernacle departs, the Levites shall take it down; and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up; and the stranger that comes near shall be put to death.

52. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് ഗണംഗണമായി ഔരോരുത്തന് താന്താന്റെ പാളയത്തിലും ഔരോരുത്തന് താന്താന്റെ കൊടിക്കരികെയും ഇങ്ങനെ കൂടാരം അടിക്കേണം.

52. And the sons of Israel shall pitch their tents, each man by his own camp and each man by his own standard, throughout their hosts.

53. എന്നാല് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ സംഘത്തിന്മേല് ക്രോധം ഉണ്ടാകാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ലേവ്യര് സാക്ഷ്യനിവാസത്തിന്നു ചുറ്റം പാളയമിറങ്ങേണം; ലേവ്യര് സാക്ഷ്യ നിവാസത്തിന്റെ കാര്യം നോക്കേണം

53. But the Levites shall pitch round about the tabernacle of the testimony that there be no wrath upon the congregation of the sons of Israel; and the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of the testimony.

54. എന്നു യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ എല്ലാം യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് ചെയ്തു; അതു പോലെ തന്നെ അവര് ചെയ്തു.

54. And the sons of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.:
