1. അവര് മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടതിന്റെ രണ്ടാം സംവത്സരം രണ്ടാം മാസം ഒന്നാം തിയ്യതി യഹോവ സീനായിമരുഭൂമിയില് സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില്വെച്ചു മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു എന്തെന്നാല്

1. And the LORD spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of witness, the first day of the second month, and in the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt saying:

2. നിങ്ങള് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളില് ഗോത്രംഗോത്രമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും സകലപുരുഷന്മാരെയും ആളാംപ്രതി പേര്വഴി ചാര്ത്തി സംഘത്തിന്റെ ആകത്തുക എടുക്കേണം.

2. take ye the sum of all the multitude of the children of Israel, in their kindreds and households of their fathers and number them by name all that are males, poll by poll,

3. നീയും അഹരോനും യിസ്രായേലില് ഇരുപതു വയസ്സുമുതല് മേലോട്ടു, യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവാന് പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള എല്ലാവരെയും ഗണംഗണമായി എണ്ണേണം.

3. from twenty year and above: even all that are able to go forth in to war in Israel, thou and Aaron shall number them in their armies,

4. ഔരോ ഗോത്രത്തില്നിന്നു തന്റെ കുടുംബത്തില് തലവനായ ഒരുത്തന് നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കേണം.

4. and with you shall be of every tribe a head man in the house of his father.

5. നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ നില്ക്കേണ്ടുന്ന പുരുഷന്മാരുടെ പേരാവിതുരൂബേന് ഗോത്രത്തില് ശെദേയൂരിന്റെ മകന് എലീസൂര്;

5. And these are the names of the men that shall stand with you: in Ruben, Elizur the son of Sedeur:

6. ശിമെയോന് ഗോത്രത്തില് സൂരീശദ്ദായിയുടെ മകന് ശെലൂമീയേല്;

6. In Simeon, Selumiel: the son of Zuri Sadai:

7. യെഹൂദാഗോത്രത്തില് അമ്മീനാദാബിന്റെ മകന് നഹശോന് ;

7. In the tribe of Juda, Nahesson the son of Aminadab:

8. യിസ്സാഖാര് ഗോത്രത്തില് സൂവാരിന്റെ മകന് നെഥനയേല്;

8. In Isachar, Nathaneel the son of Zuar:

9. സെബൂലൂന് ഗോത്രത്തില് ഹോലോന്റെ മകന് എലീയാബ്;

9. In Zabulon, Eliab the son of Helon.

10. യോസേഫിന്റെ മക്കളില് എഫ്രയീംഗോത്രത്തില് അമ്മീഹൂദിന്റെ മകന് എലീശാമാ; മനശ്ശെഗോത്രത്തില് പെദാസൂരിന്റെ മകന് ഗമലീയേല്;

10. Among the children of Joseph: In Ephraim, Elisama the son of Amihud: In Manasse, Gamaliel the son of Pedazur:

11. ബെന്യാമീന് ഗോത്രത്തില് ഗിദെയോനിയുടെ മകന് അബീദാന് ;

11. In BenJamin, Abidan the son of Gedeoni:

12. ദാന് ഗോത്രത്തില് അമ്മീശദ്ദായിയുടെ മകന് അഹീയേസെര്;

12. In Dan, Ahiezer the son of Ammi Sadai:

13. ആശേര്ഗോത്രത്തില് ഒക്രാന്റെ മകന് പഗീയേല്;

13. In Aser, Pagiel the son of Ochran:

14. ഗാദ് ഗോത്രത്തില് ദെയൂവേലിന്റെ മകന് എലീയാസാഫ്;

14. In Gad, Elisaph the son of Deguel:

15. നഫ്താലിഗോത്രത്തില് ഏനാന്റെ മകന് അഹീര.

15. In Naphtali, Ahira the son of Enan.

16. ഇവര് സംഘത്തില്നിന്നു വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരും തങ്ങളുടെ പിതൃഗോത്രങ്ങളില് പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും യിസ്രായേലില് സഹസ്രാധിപന്മാരും ആയിരുന്നു.

16. These were councillors of the congregation and lords in the tribes of their fathers and captains over thousands in Israel.

17. കുറിക്കപ്പെട്ട ഈ പുരുഷന്മാരെ മോശെയും അഹരോനും കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുപോയി.

17. And Moses and Aaron took these men above named

18. രണ്ടാം മാസം ഒന്നാം തിയ്യതി അവര് സര്വ്വസഭയെയും വിളിച്ചുകൂട്ടി; അവര് ഗോത്രം ഗോത്രമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ആളാംപ്രതി ഇരുപതു വയസ്സുമുതല് മോലോട്ടു പേരു പേരായി താന്താങ്ങളുടെ വംശവിവരം അറിയിച്ചു.

18. and gathered all the congregation together, the first day of the second month, and reckoned them after their birth and kindreds and houses of their fathers by name from twenty year and above head by head,

19. യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു പോലെ അവന് സീനായിമരുഭൂമിയില്വെച്ചു അവരുടെ എണ്ണമെടുത്തു.

19. as the LORD commanded Moses, even so he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.

20. യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ മൂത്തമകനായ രൂബേന്റെ മക്കളുടെ സന്തതികള് കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ആളാംപ്രതി ഇരുപതു വയസ്സുമുതല് മേലോട്ടു, യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരും

20. And the children of Ruben Israel's eldest son in their generations, kindreds and houses of their fathers, when they were numbered every man by name, all that were males from twenty year and above, as many as were able to go forth in war:

21. പേരുപേരായി രൂബേന് ഗോത്രത്തില് എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവര് നാല്പത്താറായിരത്തഞ്ഞൂറു പേര്.

21. were numbered in the tribe of Ruben, forty six thousand and five hundred.

22. ശിമെയോന്റെ മക്കളുടെ സന്തതികളില് കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ആളാംപ്രതി ഇരുപതു വയസ്സുമുതല് മേലോട്ടു യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരും

22. Among the children of Simeon: their generation in their kindreds and houses of their fathers (when every man's name was told) of all the males from twenty years and above, whatsoever was meet for the war:

23. പേരുപേരായി ശിമെയോന് ഗോത്രത്തില് എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവര് അമ്പത്തൊമ്പതിനായിരത്തി മുന്നൂറു പേര്.

23. were numbered in the tribe of Simeon forty nine thousand and three hundred.

24. ഗാദിന്റെ മക്കളുടെ സന്തതികളില് കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ഇരുപതു വയസ്സുമുതല് മേലോട്ടു യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരും പേരുപേരായി

24. Among the children of Gad: their generation in their kindreds and households of their fathers, when they were told by name, from twenty year and above, all that were mete for the war:

25. ഗാദ് ഗോത്രത്തില് എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവര് നാല്പത്തയ്യായിരത്തറുനൂറ്റമ്പതു പേര്.

25. were numbered in the tribe of Gad forty five thousand, six hundred and fifty.

26. യെഹൂദയുടെ മക്കളുടെ സന്തതികളില് കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ഇരുപതു വയസ്സുമുതല് മേലോട്ടു യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരും പേരുപേരായി

26. Among the children of Juda: their generation in their kindreds and houses of their fathers (by the number of names) from twenty year and above, all that were able to war,

27. യെഹൂദാഗോത്രത്തില് എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവര് എഴുപത്തുനാലായിരത്തറുനൂറു പേര്.

27. were told in the tribe of Juda seventy four thousand and six hundred.

28. യിസ്സാഖാരിന്റെ മക്കളുടെ സന്തതികളില് കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ഇരുപതു വയസ്സുമുതല് മേലോട്ടു യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരും പേരുപേരായി

28. Among the children of Isachar: their generation, in their kindreds and houses of their fathers (when their names were counted) from twenty year and above, whatsoever was apt for war,

29. യിസ്സാഖാര്ഗോത്രത്തില് എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവര് അമ്പത്തുനാലായിരത്തി നാനൂറു പേര്.

29. were numbered in the tribe of Isachar fifty four thousand and four hundred.

30. സെബൂലൂന്റെ മക്കളുടെ സന്തതികളില് കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ഇരുപതു വയസ്സുമുതല് മേലോട്ടു യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരും

30. Among the children of Zabulon: their generation, in their kindreds and houses of their fathers (after the number of names) from twenty year and above, whosoever was mete for the war:

31. പേരു പേരായി സെബൂലൂന് ഗോത്രത്തില് എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവര് അമ്പത്തേഴായിരത്തി നാനൂറു പേര്.

31. were counted in the tribe of Zabulon fifty seven thousand and four hundred.

32. യോസേഫിന്റെ മക്കളില് എഫ്രയീമിന്റെ മക്കളുടെ സന്തതികളില് കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ഇരുപതു വയസ്സുമുതല് മേലോട്ടു യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരും

32. Among the children of Joseph: first among the children of Ephraim: their generation, in their kindreds and houses of their fathers (when the names of all that were apt to the war were told) from twenty years and above:

33. പേരുപേരായി എഫ്രയീംഗോത്രത്തില് എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവര് നാല്പതിനായിരത്തഞ്ഞൂറു പേര്.

33. were in number in the tribe of Ephraim, forty thousand, and six hundred.

34. മനശ്ശെയുടെ മക്കളുടെ സന്തതികളില് കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ഇരുപതു വയസ്സുമുതല് മേലോട്ടു യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരും പേരുപേരായി

34. Among the children of Manasse: their generation, in their kindreds and houses of their fathers (when the names of all that were apt to war were told)

35. മനശ്ശെഗോത്രത്തില് എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവര് മുപ്പത്തീരായിരത്തിരുനൂറു പേര്.

35. from twenty and above were numbered in the tribe of Manasse thirty two thousand and two hundred.

36. ബെന്യാമീന്റെ മക്കളുടെ സന്തതികളില് കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ഇരുപതു വയസ്സുമുതല് മേലോട്ടു യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരും പേരുപേരായി

36. Among the children of BenJamin: their generation, in their kindreds and houses of their fathers (by the tale of names) from twenty year and above of all that were mete for war,

37. ബെന്യാമീന് ഗോത്രത്തില് എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവര് മുപ്പത്തയ്യായിരത്തി നാനൂറു പേര്.

37. were numbered in the tribe of BenJamin thirty five thousand and four hundred.

38. ദാന്റെ മക്കളുടെ സന്തതികളില് കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ഇരുപതു വയസ്സുമുതല് മേലോട്ടു യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരും പേരുപേരായി

38. Among the children of Dan: their generation in their kindreds and houses of their fathers (in the sum of names) of all that was apt to war

39. ദാന് ഗോത്രത്തില് എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവര് അറുപത്തീരായിരത്തെഴുനൂറു പേര്.

39. from twenty year and above, were numbered in the tribe of Dan fifty seven thousand and seven hundred.

40. ആശേരിന്റെ മക്കളുടെ സന്തതികളില് കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ഇരുപതു വയസ്സുമുതല് മേലോട്ടു യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരും പേരുപേരായി

40. Among the children of Asser: their generation, in their kindreds and houses of their fathers (when they were summed by name) from twenty years and above, all that were apt to war

41. ആശേര്ഗോത്രത്തില് എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവര് നാല്പത്തോരായിരത്തഞ്ഞൂറു പേര്.

41. were numbered in the tribe of Asser forty one thousand and five hundred.

42. നഫ്താലിയുടെ മക്കളുടെ സന്തതികളില് കുലംകുലമായും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായും ഇരുപതു വയസ്സുമുതല് മേലോട്ടു യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരും പേരുപേരായി

42. Among the children of Naphtali: their generation in their kindreds and houses of their fathers (when their names were told) from twenty years and above, whatsoever was mete to war:

43. നഫ്താലിഗോത്രത്തില് എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവര് അമ്പത്തുമൂവായിരത്തി നാനൂറു പേര്.

43. were numbered in the tribe of Naphtali fifty three thousand and four hundred.

44. മോശെയും അഹരോനും ഗോത്രത്തിന്നു ഒരുവന് വീതം യിസ്രായേല്പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരായ പന്ത്രണ്ടു പുരുഷന്മാരും കൂടി എണ്ണമെടുത്തവര് ഇവര് തന്നേ.

44. These are the numbers which Moses and Aaron numbered with the twelve princes of Israel: of every house of their fathers a man.

45. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളില് ഗോത്രംഗോത്രമായി ഇരുപതു വയസ്സുമുതല് മേലോട്ടു യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള സകലപുരുഷന്മാരുമായി

45. And all the numbers of the children of Israel, in the houses of their fathers, from twenty year and above, whatsoever was mete for the war in Israel,

46. എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടവര് ആകെ ആറു ലക്ഷത്തി മൂവായിരത്തഞ്ഞൂറ്റമ്പതു പേര് ആയിരുന്നു.

46. drew unto the sum of six hundred and three thousand, five hundred and fifty.

47. ഇവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില് ലേവ്യരെ പിതൃഗോത്രമായി എണ്ണിയില്ല.

47. But the Levites in the tribe of their fathers were not numbered among them.

48. ലേവിഗോത്രത്തെ മാത്രം എണ്ണരുതു;

48. And the LORD spake unto Moses saying:

49. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ ഇടയില് അവരുടെ സംഖ്യ എടുക്കയും അരുതു എന്നു യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചിരുന്നു.

49. only see that thou number not the tribe of Levi, neither take the sum of them among the children of Israel.

50. ലേവ്യരെ സാക്ഷ്യനിവാസത്തിന്നും അതിന്റെ ഉപകരണങ്ങള്ക്കും വസ്തുക്കള്ക്കും ഒക്കെ വിചാരകന്മാരായി നിയമിക്കേണം; അവര് തിരുനിവാസവും അതിന്റെ ഉപകരണങ്ങളൊക്കെയും വഹിക്കേണം; അവര് അതിന്നു ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്കയും തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്റെ ചുറ്റും പാളയമടിച്ചു പാര്ക്കയും വേണം.

50. But thou shalt appoint the Levites unto the habitation of witness, and to all the apparel thereof and unto all that longeth thereto. For they shall bear the tabernacle and all the ordinance thereof, and they shall minister it and shall pitch their tents round about it.

51. തിരുനിവാസം പുറപ്പെടുമ്പോള് ലേവ്യര് അതു അഴിച്ചെടുക്കേണം; തിരുനിവാസം അടിക്കുമ്പോള് ലേവ്യര് അതു നിവിര്ത്തേണം; ഒരന്യന് അടുത്തുവന്നാല് മരണ ശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം.

51. And when the tabernacle goeth forth the Levites shall take it down: and when the tabernacle is pitched, they shall set it up: for if any stranger come near, he shall die.

52. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് ഗണംഗണമായി ഔരോരുത്തന് താന്താന്റെ പാളയത്തിലും ഔരോരുത്തന് താന്താന്റെ കൊടിക്കരികെയും ഇങ്ങനെ കൂടാരം അടിക്കേണം.

52. And the children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man in his own company and every man by his own standard thorowout all their hosts.

53. എന്നാല് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ സംഘത്തിന്മേല് ക്രോധം ഉണ്ടാകാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ലേവ്യര് സാക്ഷ്യനിവാസത്തിന്നു ചുറ്റം പാളയമിറങ്ങേണം; ലേവ്യര് സാക്ഷ്യ നിവാസത്തിന്റെ കാര്യം നോക്കേണം

53. But the Levites shall pitch round about the habitation of witness, that there fall no wrath upon the congregation of the children of Israel, and the Levites shall wait upon the habitation of witness.

54. എന്നു യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ എല്ലാം യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് ചെയ്തു; അതു പോലെ തന്നെ അവര് ചെയ്തു.

54. And the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses.
