1. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു

1. And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

2. നീ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടു പറയേണ്ടതെന്തെന്നാല്ഒരു പുരുഷനാകട്ടെ സ്ത്രീയാകട്ടെ യഹോവേക്കു തന്നെത്താന് സമര്പ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നാസീര്വ്രതം എന്ന വിശേഷ വിധിയായുള്ള വ്രതം ദീക്ഷിക്കുമ്പോള്

2. Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, When either man or woman shall separate {themselves} to vow a vow of a Nazarite, to separate {themselves} to the LORD.

3. വീഞ്ഞും മദ്യവും വര്ജ്ജിച്ചിരിക്കേണംവീഞ്ഞിന്റെ കാടിയും മദ്യത്തിന്റെ കാടിയും കുടിക്കരുതു; മുന്തിരിപ്പഴത്തിന്റെ യാതൊരു രസവും കുടിക്കരുതു; മുന്തിരിങ്ങ പഴുത്തതാകട്ടെ ഉണങ്ങിയതാകട്ടെ തിന്നുകയുമരുതു.

3. He shall separate {himself} from wine and strong drink, and shall drink no vinegar of wine, or vinegar of strong drink, neither shall he drink any liquor of grapes, nor eat moist grapes, or dried.

4. തന്റെ നാസീര്വ്രതകാലത്തു ഒക്കെയും കുരുതൊട്ടു തൊലിവരെ മുന്തിരിങ്ങാകൊണ്ടു ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നതു ഒന്നും അവന് തിന്നരുതു.

4. All the days of his separation shall he eat nothing that is made of the vine-tree, from the kernels even to the husk.

5. നാസീര്വ്രതകാലത്തൊക്കെയും ക്ഷൌരക്കത്തി അവന്റെ തലയില് തൊടരുതു; യഹോവേക്കു തന്നെത്താന് സമര്പ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന കാലം തികയുവോളം അവന് വിശുദ്ധനായിരിക്കേണംതലമുടി വളര്ത്തേണം.

5. All the days of the vow of his separation there shall no razor come upon his head: until the days shall be fulfilled, in which he separateth {himself} to the LORD, he shall be holy, {and} shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow.

6. അവന് യഹോവേക്കു തന്നെത്താന് സമര്പ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന കാലത്തൊക്കെയും ശവത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കല് ചെല്ലരുതു;

6. All the days that he separateth {himself} to the LORD, he shall come at no dead body.

7. അപ്പന് , അമ്മ, സഹോദരന് , സഹോദരി എന്നിവരില് ആരെങ്കിലും മരിക്കുമ്പോള് അവരാല് അവന് തന്നെത്താന് അശുദ്ധനാകരുതു; അവന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നാസീര്വ്രതം അവന്റെ തലയില് ഇരിക്കുന്നു;

7. He shall not make himself unclean for his father, or for his mother, for his brother, or for his sister, when they die: because the consecration of his God {is} upon his head.

8. നാസീര്വ്രതകാലത്തു ഒക്കെയും അവന് യഹോവേക്കു വിശുദ്ധന് ആകുന്നു.

8. All the days of his separation he {is} holy to the LORD.

9. അവന്റെ അടുക്കല്വെച്ചു വല്ലവനും പെട്ടെന്നു മരിക്കയും അവന്റെ നാസീര്വ്രതമുള്ള തലയെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്താല് അവന് തന്റെ ശുദ്ധീകരണദിവസത്തില് തല ക്ഷൌരം ചെയ്യേണം; ഏഴാം ദിവസം അവന് ക്ഷൌരം ചെയ്യേണം.

9. And if any man shall die very suddenly by him, and he hath defiled the head of his consecration; then he shall shave his head in the day of his cleansing, on the seventh day shall he shave it.

10. എട്ടാം ദിവസം അവന് രണ്ടു കുറുപ്രാവിനെയോ രണ്ടു പ്രാവിന് കുഞ്ഞിനെയോ പുരോഹിതന്റെ അടുക്കല് സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കല് കൊണ്ടുവരേണം.

10. And on the eighth day he shall bring two turtles, or two young pigeons, to the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:

11. പുരോഹിതന് ഒന്നിനെ പാപയാഗമായിട്ടും മറ്റേതിനെ ഹോമയാഗമായിട്ടും അര്പ്പിച്ചു ശവത്താല് അവന് പിഴെച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു അവന്നു വേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിച്ചു അവന്റെ തല അന്നുതന്നേ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കേണം.

11. And the priest shall offer the one for a sin-offering, and the other for a burnt-offering, and make an atonement for him, for that he sinned by the dead, and shall hallow his head that same day.

12. അവന് വീണ്ടും തന്റെ നാസീര് വ്രതത്തിന്റെ കാലം യഹോവേക്കു വേര്തിരിച്ചു ഒരു വയസ്സു പ്രായമുള്ള ഒരു ആട്ടിന് കുട്ടിയെ അകൃത്യയാഗമായി കൊണ്ടുവരേണം അവന്റെ നാസീര്വ്രതം അശുദ്ധമായിപ്പോയതുകൊണ്ടു മുമ്പിലത്തെ കാലം തള്ളിപ്പോകേണം.

12. And he shall consecrate to the LORD the days of his separation, and shall bring a lamb of the first year for a trespass-offering: but the days that were before shall be lost, because his separation was defiled.

13. വ്രതസ്ഥന്റെ പ്രമാണം ആവിതുഅവന്റെ നാസീര്വ്രതത്തിന്റെ കാലം തികയുമ്പോള് അവനെ സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കല് കൊണ്ടുവരേണം.

13. And this {is} the law of the Nazarite, when the days of his separation are fulfilled: he shall be brought to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:

14. അവന് യഹോവേക്കു വഴിപാടായി ഹോമയാഗത്തിന്നു ഒരു വയസ്സു പ്രായമുള്ള ഊനമില്ലാത്ത ഒരു ആണാട്ടിന് കുട്ടി, പാപയാഗത്തിന്നു ഒരു വയസ്സു പ്രായമുള്ള ഒരു പെണ്ണാട്ടിന് കുട്ടി, സമാധാനയാഗത്തിന്നു ഊനമില്ലാത്ത ഒരു ആട്ടുകൊറ്റന് ,

14. And he shall offer his offering to the LORD, one he-lamb of the first year without blemish for a burnt-offering, and one ewe-lamb of the first year without blemish for a sin-offering, and one ram without blemish for peace-offerings,

15. ഒരു കൊട്ടയില്, എണ്ണചേര്ത്തു നേരിയ മാവുകൊണ്ടുണ്ടാക്കിയ പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത ദോശ, എണ്ണപുരട്ടിയ പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത വട എന്നിവയും അവയുടെ ഭോജനയാഗവും പാനീയയാഗങ്ങളും അര്പ്പിക്കേണം.

15. And a basket of unleavened bread, cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, and wafers of unleavened bread anointed with oil, and their meat-offering and their drink-offerings.

16. പുരോഹിതന് അവയെ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് കൊണ്ടുവന്നു അവന്റെ പാപയാഗവും ഹോമയാഗവും അര്പ്പിക്കേണം.

16. And the priest shall bring {them} before the LORD, and shall offer his sin-offering, and his burnt-offering:

17. അവന് ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനെ കൊട്ടയിലെ പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പത്തോടുകൂടെ യഹോവേക്കു സമാധാന യാഗമായി അര്പ്പിക്കേണം; പുരോഹിതന് അതിന്റെ ഭോജനയാഗവും പാനീയയാഗവും കൂടെ അര്പ്പിക്കേണം.

17. And he shall offer the ram {for} a sacrifice of peace-offerings to the LORD, with the basket of unleavened bread: the priest shall offer also his meat-offering, and his drink-offering.

18. പിന്നെ വ്രതസ്ഥന് സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കല്വെച്ചു തന്റെ വ്രതമുള്ള തല ക്ഷൌരം ചെയ്തു തന്റെ വ്രതമുള്ള തലമുടി എടുത്തു സമാധാനയാഗത്തിന് കീഴുള്ള തീയില് ഇടേണം;
പ്രവൃത്തികൾ അപ്പ. പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ 18:18

18. And the Nazarite shall shave the head of his separation {at} the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall take the hair of the head of his separation, and put {it} in the fire which {is} under the sacrifice of the peace-offerings.

19. വ്രതസ്ഥന് തന്റെ വ്രതമുള്ള തല ക്ഷൌരം ചെയ്തശേഷം പുരോഹിതന് ആട്ടുകൊറ്റന്റെ വേവിച്ച കൈക്കുറകും കൊട്ടയില്നിന്നു പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത ഒരു ദോശയും പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത ഒരു വടയും എടുത്തു അവയെ വ്രതസ്ഥന്റെ കൈയില് വെക്കേണം.

19. And the priest shall take the boiled shoulder of the ram, and one unleavened cake out of the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and shall put {them} upon the hands of the Nazarite, after {the hair of} his separation is shaven:

20. പുരോഹിതന് അവയെ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് നീരാജനം ചെയ്യേണം; ഇതു നീരാജനം ചെയ്ത നെഞ്ചോടും ഉദര്ച്ച ചെയ്ത കൈക്കുറകോടും കൂടെ പുരോഹിതന്നു വേണ്ടി വിശുദ്ധമാകുന്നു; അതിന്റെ ശേഷം വ്രതസ്ഥന്നു വീഞ്ഞു കുടിക്കാം.

20. And the priest shall wave them {for} a wave-offering before the LORD: this {is} holy for the priest, with the wave-breast, and heave-shoulder: and after that, the Nazarite may drink wine.

21. നാസീര്വ്രതം ദീക്ഷിക്കുന്ന വ്രതസ്ഥന്റെയും അവന് തന്റെ പ്രാപ്തിപോലെ കൊടുക്കുന്നതു കൂടാതെ തന്റെ നാസീര്വ്രതം ഹേതുവായി യഹോവേക്കു കഴിക്കേണ്ടുന്ന വഴിപാടിന്റെയും പ്രമാണം ഇതു തന്നേ. അവന് ദീക്ഷിച്ച വ്രതംപോലെ തന്റെ നാസീര്വ്രതത്തിന്റെ പ്രമാണത്തിന്നു അനുസരണയായി തന്നേ അവന് ചെയ്യേണം.

21. This {is} the law of the Nazarite who hath vowed, {and of} his offering to the LORD for his separation, besides {that} which his hand shall get: according to the vow which he vowed, so he must do after the law of his separation.

22. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു

22. And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

23. നീ അഹരോനോടും പുത്രന്മാരോടും പറയേണ്ടതുനിങ്ങള് യിസ്രായേല് മക്കളെ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചു ചൊല്ലേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്

23. Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying to them,

24. യഹോവ നിന്നെ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചു കാക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ;

24. The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:

25. യഹോവ തിരുമുഖം നിന്റെ മേല് പ്രകാശിപ്പിച്ചു നിന്നോടു കൃപയുള്ളവനാകട്ടെ;

25. The LORD make his face to shine upon thee, and be gracious to thee:

26. യഹോവ തിരുമുഖം നിന്റെ മേല് ഉയര്ത്തി നിനക്കു സമാധാനം നലകുമാറാകട്ടെ.

26. The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

27. ഇങ്ങനെ അവര് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ മേല് എന്റെ നാമം വെക്കേണം; ഞാന് അവരെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കും.

27. And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel, and I will bless them.
