9. and Uzziah begot Jotham; and Jotham begot Ahaz; and Ahaz begot Hezekiah;

10. ഹിസ്കീയാവു മനശ്ശെയെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; മനശ്ശെ ആമോസിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; ആമോസ് യോശിയാവെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു;

10. and Hezekiah begot Manasseh; and Manasseh begot Amos; and Amos begot Josiah;

11. യോശിയാവു യെഖൊന്യാവെയും അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരെയും ബാബേല്പ്രവാസകാലത്തു ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

14. ആസോര് സാദോക്കിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; സാദോക്ക് ആഖീമിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; ആഖീം എലീഹൂദിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു;

14. and Azor begot Zadok; and Zadok begot Achim; and Achim begot Eliud;

15. എലീഹൂദ് എലീയാസരെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; എലീയാസര് മത്ഥാനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; മത്ഥാന് യാക്കോബിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

15. and Eliud begot Eleazar; and Eleazar begot Matthan; and Matthan begot Jacob;

16. യാക്കോബ് മറിയയുടെ ഭര്ത്താവായ യോസേഫിനെ ജനപ്പിച്ചു. അവളില് നിന്നു ക്രിസ്തു എന്നു പേരുള്ള യേശു ജനിച്ചു.

16. and Jacob begot Joseph; and Joseph begot Jesus, who is called Christ, from Mary.

17. ഇങ്ങനെ തലമുറകള് ആകെ അബ്രാഹാം മുതല് ദാവീദുവരെ പതിന്നാലും ദാവീദു മുതല് ബാബേല്പ്രവാസത്തോളം പതിന്നാലും ബാബേല്പ്രവാസം മുതല് ക്രിസ്തുവിനോളം പതിന്നാലും ആകുന്നു.

17. So all the generations from Abraham to David were fourteen generations, and from David to the Babylonian Exile were fourteen generations, and from the Babylonian Exile to the Christ were fourteen generations.
