1. അനന്തരം യേശു തിബെര്യ്യാസ് എന്ന ഗലീലക്കടലിന്റെ അക്കരെക്കു പോയി.

1. Aftir these thingis Jhesus wente ouere the see of Galilee, that is Tiberias.

2. അവന് രോഗികളില് ചെയ്യുന്ന അടയാളങ്ങളെ കണ്ടിട്ടു ഒരു വലിയ പുരുഷാരം അവന്റെ പിന്നാലെ ചെന്നു.

2. And a greet multitude suede hym; for thei sayn the tokenes, that he dide on hem that weren sijke.

3. യേശു മലയില് കയറി ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടുകൂടെ അവിടെ ഇരുന്നു.

3. Therfor Jhesus wente in to an hil, and sat there with hise disciplis.

4. യെഹൂദന്മാരുടെ പെസഹ പെരുന്നാള് അടുത്തിരുന്നു.

4. And the paske was ful niy, a feeste dai of the Jewis.

5. യേശു വലിയൊരു പുരുഷാരം തന്റെ അടുക്കല് വരുന്നതു കണ്ടിട്ടു ഫിലിപ്പൊസിനോടുഇവര്ക്കും തിന്നുവാന് നാം എവിടെ നിന്നു അപ്പം വാങ്ങും എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

5. Therfor whanne Jhesus hadde lift vp hise iyen, and hadde seyn, that a greet multitude cam to hym, he seith to Filip, Wherof schulen we bie looues, that these men ete?

6. ഇതു അവനെ പരീക്ഷിപ്പാനത്രേ ചോദിച്ചതു; താന് എന്തു ചെയ്വാന് പോകുന്നു എന്നു താന് അറിഞ്ഞിരുന്നു.

6. But he seide this thing, temptynge hym; for he wiste what he was to do.

7. ഫിലിപ്പൊസ് അവനോടുഔരോരുത്തന്നു അല്പമല്പം ലഭിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഇരുനൂറു പണത്തിന്നു അപ്പം മതിയാകയില്ല എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

7. Filip answerde to hym, The looues of tweyn hundrid pans sufficen not to hem, that ech man take a litil what.

8. ശിഷ്യന്മാരില് ഒരുത്തനായി ശിമോന് പത്രൊസിന്റെ സഹോദരനായ അന്ത്രെയാസ് അവനോടു

8. Oon of hise disciplis, Andrew, the brothir of Symount Petre,

9. ഇവിടെ ഒരു ബാലകന് ഉണ്ടു; അവന്റെ പക്കല് അഞ്ചു യവത്തപ്പവും രണ്ടു മീനും ഉണ്ടു; എങ്കിലും ഇത്രപേര്ക്കും അതു എന്തുള്ളു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

9. seith to him, A child is here, that hath fyue barli looues and twei fischis; but what ben these among so manye?

10. ആളുകളെ ഇരുത്തുവിന് എന്നു യേശു പറഞ്ഞു. ആ സ്ഥലത്തു വളരെ പുല്ലുണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അയ്യായിരത്തോളം പുരുഷന്മാര് ഇരുന്നു.

10. Therfor Jhesus seith, Make ye hem sitte to the mete. And there was myche hey in the place. And so men saten to the mete, as `fyue thousynde in noumbre.

11. പിന്നെ യേശു അപ്പം എടുത്തു വാഴ്ത്തി, ഇരുന്നവര്ക്കും പങ്കിട്ടുകൊടുത്തു; അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ മീനും വേണ്ടുന്നേടത്തോളം കൊടുത്തു.

11. And Jhesus took fyue looues, and whanne he hadde do thankyngis, he departide to men that saten to the mete, and also of the fischis, as myche as thei wolden.

12. അവര്ക്കും തൃപ്തിയായശേഷം അവന് ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടുശേഷിച്ച കഷണം ഒന്നും നഷ്ടമാക്കാതെ ശേഖരിപ്പിന് എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

12. And whanne thei weren fillid, he seide to hise disciplis, Gadir ye the relifs that ben left, that thei perischen not.

13. അഞ്ചു യവത്തപ്പത്തില് തിന്നു ശേഷിച്ച കഷണം അവര് ശേഖരിച്ചു പന്ത്രണ്ടു കൊട്ട നിറച്ചെടുത്തു.

13. And so thei gadriden, and filliden twelue cofyns of relif of the fyue barli looues and twei fischis, that lefte to hem that hadden etun.

14. അവന് ചെയ്ത അടയാളം ആളുകള് കണ്ടിട്ടുലോകത്തിലേക്കു വരുവാനുള്ള പ്രവാചകന് ഇവന് ആകുന്നു സത്യം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

14. Therfor tho men, whanne thei hadden seyn the signe that he hadde don, seiden, For this is verili the profete, that is to come in to the world.

15. അവര് വന്നു തന്നെ പിടിച്ചു രാജാവാക്കുവാന് ഭാവിക്കുന്നു എന്നു യേശു അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടു പിന്നെയും തനിച്ചു മലയിലേക്കു വാങ്ങിപ്പോയി.

15. And whanne Jhesus hadde knowun, that thei weren to come to take hym, and make hym kyng, he fleiy `aloone eft in to an hille.

16. സന്ധ്യയായപ്പോള് ശിഷ്യന്മാര് കടല്പുറത്തേക്കു ഇറങ്ങി

16. And whanne euentid was comun, his disciplis wenten doun to the see.

17. പടകുകയറി കടലക്കരെ കഫര്ന്നഹൂമിലേക്കു യാത്രയായി; ഇരുട്ടായശേഷവും യേശു അവരുടെ അടുക്കല് വന്നിരുന്നില്ല.

17. And thei wenten vp in to a boot, and thei camen ouer the see in to Cafarnaum. And derknessis weren maad thanne, and Jhesus was not come to hem.

18. കൊടുങ്കാറ്റു അടിക്കയാല് കടല് കോപിച്ചു.

18. And for a greet wynde blew, the see roos vp.

19. അവര് നാലു അഞ്ചു നാഴിക ദൂരത്തോളം വലിച്ചശേഷം യേശു കടലിന്മേല് നടന്നു പടകിനോടു സമീപിക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടു പേടിച്ചു.

19. Therfor whanne thei hadden rowid as fyue and twenti furlongis or thretti, thei seen Jhesus walkynge on the see, and to be neiy the boot; and thei dredden.

20. അവന് അവരോടുഞാന് ആകുന്നു; പേടിക്കേണ്ടാ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

20. And he seide to hem, Y am; nyle ye drede.

21. അവര് അവനെ പടകില് കയറ്റുവാന് ഇച്ഛിച്ചു; ഉടനെ പടകു അവര് പോകുന്ന ദേശത്തു എത്തിപ്പോയി.

21. Therfor thei wolden take hym in to the boot, and anoon the boot was at the loond, to which thei wenten.

22. പിറ്റെന്നാള് കടല്ക്കരെ നിന്ന പുരുഷാരം ഒരു പടകല്ലാതെ അവിടെ വേറെ ഇല്ലായിരുന്നു എന്നും, യേശു ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടുകൂടെ പടകില് കയറാതെ ശിഷ്യന്മാര് മാത്രം പോയിരുന്നു എന്നും ഗ്രഹിച്ചു.

22. On `the tother dai the puple, that stood ouer the see, say, that ther was noon other boot there but oon, and that Jhesu entride not with hise disciplis in to the boot, but hise disciplis aloone wenten.

23. എന്നാല് കര്ത്താവു വാഴ്ത്തീട്ടു അവര് അപ്പം തിന്ന സ്ഥലത്തിന്നരികെ തിബെര്യ്യാസില്നിന്നു ചെറുപടകുകള് എത്തിയിരുന്നു.

23. But othere bootis camen fro Tiberias bisidis the place, where thei hadden eetun breed, and diden thankyngis to God.

24. യേശു അവിടെ ഇല്ല ശിഷ്യന്മാരും ഇല്ല എന്നു പുരുഷാരം കണ്ടപ്പോള് തങ്ങളും പടകു കയറി യേശുവിനെ തിരഞ്ഞു കഫര്ന്നഹൂമില് എത്തി.

24. Therfor whanne the puple hadde seyn, that Jhesu was not there, nether hise disciplis, thei wenten vp in to bootis, and camen to Cafarnaum, sekynge Jhesu.

25. കടലക്കരെ അവനെ കണ്ടെത്തിയപ്പോള്റബ്ബീ, നീ എപ്പോള് ഇവിടെ വന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു. അതിന്നുയേശു

25. And whanne thei hadden foundun hym ouer the see, thei seiden to hym, Rabi, hou come thou hidur?

26. ആമേന് , ആമേന് , ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നുനിങ്ങള് അടയാളം കണ്ടതുകൊണ്ടല്ല, അപ്പം തിന്നു തൃപ്തരായതുകൊണ്ടത്രേ എന്നെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നതു.

26. Jhesus answerde to hem, and seide, Treuli, treuli, Y seie to you, ye seken me, not for ye sayn the myraclis, but for ye eten of looues, and weren fillid.

27. നശിച്ചുപോകുന്ന ആഹാരത്തിന്നായിട്ടല്ല, നിത്യജീവങ്കലേക്കു നിലനിലക്കുന്ന ആഹാരത്തിന്നായിട്ടു തന്നേ പ്രവര്ത്തിപ്പിന് ; അതു മനുഷ്യ പുത്രന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തരും. അവനെ പിതാവായ ദൈവം മുദ്രയിട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

27. Worche ye not mete that perischith, but that dwellith in to euerlastynge lijf, which mete mannys sone schal yyue to you; for God the fadir hath markid hym.

28. അവര് അവനോടു ദൈവത്തിന്നു പ്രസാദമുള്ള പ്രവൃത്തികളെ പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞങ്ങള് എന്തു ചെയ്യേണം എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

28. Therfor thei seiden to hym, What schulen we do, that we worche the werkis of God?

29. യേശു അവരോടുദൈവത്തിന്നു പ്രസാദമുള്ള പ്രവൃത്തി അവന് അയച്ചവനില് നിങ്ങള് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നതത്രേ എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

29. Jhesus answerde, and seide to hem, This is the werk of God, that ye bileue to hym, whom he sente.

30. അവര് അവനോടുഞങ്ങള് കണ്ടു നിന്നെ വിശ്വസിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ എന്തു അടയാളം ചെയ്യുന്നു? എന്തു പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നു?

30. Therfor thei seiden to hym, What tokene thanne doist thou, that we seen, and bileue to thee? what worchist thou?

31. നമ്മുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാര് മരുഭൂമിയില് മന്നാ തിന്നു; അവര്ക്കും തിന്നുവാന് സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില് നിന്നു അപ്പം കൊടുത്തു എന്നു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

31. Oure fadris eeten manna in desert, as it is writun, He yaf to hem breed fro heuene to ete.

32. യേശു അവരോടുആമേന് , ആമേന് , ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നുസ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നുള്ള അപ്പം മോശെയല്ല നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തന്നതു, എന്റെ പിതാവത്രേ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നുള്ള സാക്ഷാല് അപ്പം നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തരുന്നതു.

32. Therfor Jhesus seith to hem, Treuli, treuli, Y seie to you, Moyses yaf you not breed fro heuene, but my fadir yyueth you veri breed fro heuene;

33. ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അപ്പമോ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു ഇറങ്ങിവന്നു ലോകത്തിന്നു ജീവനെ കൊടുക്കുന്നതു ആകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

33. for it is very breed that cometh doun fro heuene, and yyueth lijf to the world.

34. അവര് അവനോടുകര്ത്താവേ, ഈ അപ്പം എപ്പോഴും ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു തരേണമേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

34. Therfor thei seiden to hym, Lord, euere yyue vs this breed.

35. യേശു അവരോടുപറഞ്ഞതുഞാന് ജീവന്റെ അപ്പം ആകുന്നു; എന്റെ അടുക്കല് വരുന്നവന്നു വിശക്കയില്ല; എന്നില് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവന്നു ഒരു നാളും ദാഹിക്കയുമില്ല.

35. And Jhesus seide to hem, Y am breed of lijf; he that cometh to me, schal not hungur; he that bileueth in me, schal neuere thirste.

36. എന്നാല് നിങ്ങള് എന്നെ കണ്ടിട്ടും വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നില്ല എന്നു ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ.

36. But Y seid to you, that ye han seyn me, and ye bileueden not.

37. പിതാവു എനിക്കു തരുന്നതു ഒക്കെയും എന്റെ അടുക്കല് വരും; എന്റെ അടുക്കല് വരുന്നവനെ ഞാന് ഒരുനാളും തള്ളിക്കളകയില്ല.

37. Al thing, that the fadir yyueth to me, schal come to me; and Y schal not caste hym out, that cometh to me.

38. ഞാന് എന്റെ ഇഷ്ടമല്ല, എന്നെ അയച്ചവന്റെ ഇഷ്ടമത്രേ ചെയ്വാന് സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു ഇറങ്ങിവന്നിരിക്കുന്നതു.

38. For Y cam doun fro heuene, not that Y do my wille, but the wille of hym that sente me.

39. അവന് എനിക്കു തന്നതില് ഒന്നും ഞാന് കളയാതെ എല്ലാം ഒടുക്കത്തെ നാളില് ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേല്പിക്കേണം എന്നാകുന്നു എന്നെ അയച്ചവന്റെ ഇഷ്ടം.

39. And this is the wille of the fadir that sente me, that al thing that the fadir yaf me, Y leese not of it, but ayen reise it in the laste dai.

40. പുത്രനെ നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടു അവനില് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്ന ഏവന്നും നിത്യജീവന് ഉണ്ടാകേണമെന്നാകുന്നു എന്റെ പിതാവിന്റെ ഇഷ്ടം; ഞാന് അവനെ ഒടുക്കത്തെ നാളില് ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേല്പിക്കും.

40. And this is the wille of my fadir that sente me, that ech man that seeth the sone, and bileueth in hym, haue euerlastynge lijf; and Y schal ayen reyse hym in the laste dai.

41. ഞാന് സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു ഇറങ്ങിവന്ന അപ്പം എന്നു അവന് പറഞ്ഞതിനാല് യെഹൂദന്മാര് അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു പിറുപിറുത്തു

41. Therfor Jewis grutchiden of hym, for he hadde seid, Y am breed that cam doun fro heuene.

42. ഇവന് യോസേഫിന്റെ പുത്രനായ യേശു അല്ലയോ? അവന്റെ അപ്പനെയും അമ്മയെയും നാം അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ; പിന്നെ ഞാന് സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു ഇറങ്ങിവന്നു എന്നു അവന് പറയുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ എന്നു അവര് പറഞ്ഞു.

42. And thei seiden, Whether this is not Jhesus, the sone of Joseph, whos fadir and modir we han knowun. Hou thanne seith this, That Y cam doun fro heuene?

43. യേശു അവരോടു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതുനിങ്ങള് തമ്മില് പിറുപിറുക്കേണ്ടാ;

43. Therfor Jhesus answerde, and seide to hem, Nyle ye grutche togidere.

44. എന്നെ അയച്ച പിതാവു ആകര്ഷിച്ചിട്ടില്ലാതെ ആര്ക്കും എന്റെ അടുക്കല് വരുവാന് കഴികയില്ല; ഞാന് ഒടുക്കത്തെ നാളില് അവനെ ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേല്പിക്കും.

44. No man may come to me, but if the fadir that sente me, drawe hym; and Y schal ayen reise hym in the laste dai. It is writun in prophetis,

45. എല്ലാവരും ദൈവത്താല് ഉപദേശിക്കപ്പെട്ടവര് ആകും എന്നു പ്രവാചകപുസ്തകങ്ങളില് എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നു. പിതാവിനോടു കേട്ടുപഠിച്ചവന് എല്ലാം എന്റെ അടുക്കല് വരും.

45. And alle men schulen be able for to be tauyt `of God. Ech man that herde of the fadir, and hath lerned, cometh to me.

46. പിതാവിനെ ആരെങ്കിലും കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ടു എന്നല്ല, ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കല് നിന്നു വന്നവന് മാത്രമേ പിതാവിനെ കണ്ടിട്ടുള്ള.

46. Not for ony man hath sey the fadir, but this that is of God, hath sey the fadir.

47. ആമേന് , ആമേന് , ഞാന് നിങ്ങളൊടു പറയുന്നുവിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവന്നു നിത്യജീവന് ഉണ്ടു.

47. Sotheli, sotheli, Y seie to you, he that bileueth in me, hath euerlastynge lijf.

48. ഞാന് ജീവന്റെ അപ്പം ആകുന്നു.

48. Y am breed of lijf.

49. നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാര് മരുഭൂമിയില് മന്നാ തിന്നിട്ടും മരിച്ചുവല്ലോ.

49. Youre fadris eeten manna in desert, and ben deed.

50. ഇതോ തിന്നുന്നവന് മരിക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു ഇറങ്ങുന്ന അപ്പം ആകുന്നു.

50. This is breed comynge doun fro heuene, that if ony man ete therof, he die not.

51. സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു ഇറങ്ങിയ ജീവനുള്ള അപ്പം ഞാന് ആകുന്നു; ഈ അപ്പം തിന്നുന്നവന് എല്ലാം എന്നേക്കും ജീവിക്കും; ഞാന് കൊടുപ്പാനിരിക്കുന്ന അപ്പമോ ലോകത്തിന്റെ ജീവന്നു വേണ്ടി ഞാന് കൊടുക്കുന്ന എന്റെ മാംസം ആകുന്നു.

51. Y am lyuynge breed, that cam doun fro heuene.

52. ആകയാല് യെഹൂദന്മാര്നമുക്കു തന്റെ മാംസം തിന്നേണ്ടതിന്നു തരുവാന് ഇവന്നു എങ്ങനെ കഴിയും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു തമ്മില് വാദിച്ചു.

52. If ony man ete of this breed, he schal lyue withouten ende. And the breed that Y schal yyue, is my fleisch for the lijf of the world.

53. യേശു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതുആമേന് , ആമേന് , ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നുനിങ്ങള് മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്റെ മാംസം തിന്നാതെയും അവന്റെ രക്തം കുടിക്കാതെയും ഇരുന്നാല് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ഉള്ളില് ജീവന് ഇല്ല.

53. Therfor the Jewis chidden togidere, and seiden, Hou may this yyue to vs his fleisch to ete?

54. എന്റെ മാംസം തിന്നുകയും എന്റെ രക്തം കുടിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നവന്നു നിത്യജീവന് ഉണ്ടു; ഞാന് ഒടുക്കത്തെ നാളില് അവനെ ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേല്പിക്കും.

54. Therfor Jhesus seith to hem, Treuli, treuli, Y seie to you, but ye eten the fleisch of mannus sone, and drenken his blood, ye schulen not haue lijf in you.

55. എന്റെ മാംസം സാക്ഷാല് ഭക്ഷണവും എന്റെ രക്തം സാക്ഷാല് പാനീയവും ആകുന്നു.

55. He that etith my fleisch, and drynkith my blood, hath euerlastynge lijf, and Y schal ayen reise hym in the laste dai.

56. എന്റെ മാംസം തിന്നുകയും എന്റെ രക്തം കുടിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നവന് എന്നിലും ഞാന് അവനിലും വസിക്കുന്നു.

56. For my fleisch is veri mete, and my blood is very drynk.

57. ജീവനുള്ള പിതാവു എന്നെ അയച്ചിട്ടു ഞാന് പിതാവിന് മൂലം ജീവിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ എന്നെ തിന്നുന്നവന് എന് മൂലം ജീവിക്കും.

57. He that etith my fleisch, and drynkith my blood, dwellith in me, and Y in hym.

58. സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില് നിന്നു ഇറങ്ങിവന്ന അപ്പം ഇതു ആകുന്നു; പിതാക്കന്മാര് തിന്നുകയും മരിക്കയും ചെയ്തതുപോലെ അല്ല; ഈ അപ്പം തിന്നുന്നവന് എന്നേക്കും ജീവിക്കും.

58. As my fadir lyuynge sente me, and Y lyue for the fadir, and he that etith me, he schal lyue for me.

59. അവന് കഫര്ന്നഹൂമില് ഉപദേശിക്കുമ്പോള് പള്ളിയില്വെച്ചു ഇതു പറഞ്ഞു.

59. This is breed, that cam doun fro heuene. Not as youre fadris eten manna, and ben deed; he that etith this breed, schal lyue withouten ende.

60. അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാര് പലരും അതു കേട്ടിട്ടുഇതു കഠിനവാക്കു, ഇതു ആര്ക്കും കേള്പ്പാന് കഴിയും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

60. He seide these thingis in the synagoge, techynge in Cafarnaum.

61. ശിഷ്യന്മാര് അതിനെച്ചൊല്ലി പിറുപിറുക്കുന്നതു യേശു തന്നില്തന്നേ അറിഞ്ഞു അവരോടുഇതു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ഇടര്ച്ച ആകുന്നുവോ?

61. Therfor many of hise disciplis herynge, seiden, This word is hard, who may here it?

62. മനുഷ്യ പുത്രന് മുമ്പെ ഇരുന്നേടത്തേക്കു കയറിപ്പോകുന്നതു നിങ്ങള് കണ്ടാലോ?

62. But Jhesus witynge at hym silf, that hise disciplis grutchiden of this thing, seide to hem, This thing sclaundrith you?

63. ജീവിപ്പിക്കുന്നതു ആത്മാവു ആകുന്നു; മാംസം ഒന്നിന്നും ഉപകരിക്കുന്നില്ല; ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു സംസാരിച്ച വചനങ്ങള് ആത്മാവും ജീവനും ആകുന്നു.

63. Therfor if ye seen mannus sone stiynge, where he was bifor?

64. എങ്കിലും വിശ്വസിക്കാത്തവര് നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് ഉണ്ടു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു — വിശ്വസിക്കാത്തവര് ഇന്നവര് എന്നും തന്നെ കാണിച്ചു കൊടുക്കുന്നവന് ഇന്നവന് എന്നും യേശു ആദിമുതല് അറിഞ്ഞിരുന്നു —

65. ഇതു ഹേതുവായിട്ടത്രേ ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടുപിതാവു കൃപ നല്കീട്ടല്ലാതെ ആര്ക്കും എന്റെ അടുക്കല് വരുവാന് കഴികയില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞതു എന്നും അവന് പറഞ്ഞു.

67. ആകയാല് യേശു പന്തിരുവരോടുനിങ്ങള്ക്കും പൊയ്ക്കൊള്വാന് മനസ്സുണ്ടോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

68. ശിമോന് പത്രൊസ് അവനോടുകര്ത്താവേ, ഞങ്ങള് ആരുടെ അടുക്കല് പോകും? നിത്യജീവന്റെ വചനങ്ങള് നിന്റെ പക്കല് ഉണ്ടു.

69. നീ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധന് എന്നു ഞങ്ങള് വിശ്വസിച്ചും അറിഞ്ഞും ഇരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

70. യേശു അവരോടുനിങ്ങളെ പന്ത്രണ്ടു പേരെ ഞാന് തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തില്ലയോ? എങ്കിലും നിങ്ങളില് ഒരുത്തന് ഒരു പിശാചു ആകുന്നു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു. ഇതു അവന് ശിമോന് ഈസ്കര്യയ്യോര്ത്താവിന്റെ മകനായ യൂദയെക്കുറിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു.
