1. നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കൃപ ലഭിച്ചതു വ്യര്ത്ഥമായിത്തീരരുതു എന്നു ഞങ്ങള് സഹപ്രവൃത്തിക്കാരായി നിങ്ങളെ പ്രബോധിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

1. But we helpynge monesten, that ye resseyuen not the grace of God in veyn.

2. “പ്രസാദകാലത്തു ഞാന് നിനക്കു ഉത്തരം അരുളി; രക്ഷാദിവസത്തില് ഞാന് നിന്നെ സഹായിച്ചു” എന്നു അവന് അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുവല്ലോ. ഇപ്പോള് ആകുന്നു സുപ്രസാദകാലം; ഇപ്പോള് ആകുന്നു രക്ഷാദിവസം .

6. ദീര്ഘക്ഷമ, ദയ, പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവു, നിര്വ്യാജസ്നേഹം, സത്യവചനം , ദൈവശക്തി

6. in chastite, in kunnyng, in long abiding, in swetnesse, in the Hooli Goost,

7. എന്നിവയിലും ഇടത്തും വലത്തും നീതിയുടെ ആയുധങ്ങള് ധരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു

7. in charite not feined, in the word of treuthe, in the vertu of God; bi armeris of riytwisnesse on the riythalf and on the lefthalf;

8. മാനാപമാനങ്ങളും ദുഷ്കീര്ത്തിസല്ക്കീര്ത്തികളും അനുഭവിച്ചും ചതിയന്മാരെന്നിട്ടും സത്യവാന്മാര്,

8. bi glorie and vnnoblei; bi yuel fame and good fame; as disseyueris, and trewe men; as thei that ben vnknowun, and knowun;

9. ആരും അറിയാത്തവരെന്നിട്ടും എല്ലാവരും നല്ലവണ്ണം അറിയുന്നവര്, മരിക്കുന്നവരെന്നിട്ടും ഇതാ, ഞങ്ങള് ജീവിക്കുന്നു; ശിക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്നവരെന്നിട്ടും കൊല്ലപ്പെടാത്തവര്;

15. and what acording of Crist to Belial? or what part of a feithful with the vnfeithful?

16. ദൈവാലയത്തിന്നു വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളോടു എന്തു യോജ്യത? നാം ജീവനുള്ള ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആലയമല്ലോ. “ഞാന് അവരില് വസിക്കയും അവരുടെ ഇടയില് നടക്കയും ചെയ്യും; ഞാന് അവര്ക്കും ദൈവവും അവര് എനിക്കു ജനവും ആകും” എന്നു ദൈവം അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ. അതുകൊണ്ടു “അവരുടെനടുവില് നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു വേര്പ്പെട്ടിരിപ്പിന് എന്നു കര്ത്താവു അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; അശുദ്ധമായതു ഒന്നും തൊടരുതു; എന്നാല് ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ കൈക്കൊണ്ടു
