1. സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തിന്നായിട്ടു ക്രിസ്തു നമ്മെ സ്വതന്ത്രരാക്കി; ആകയാല് അതില് ഉറെച്ചുനില്പിന് ; അടിമനുകത്തില് പിന്നെയും കുടുങ്ങിപ്പോകരുതു.

1. Stande fast therfore in the libertie wherwith Christe hath made vs free, and be not intangled agayne with ye yoke of bondage.

2. നിങ്ങള് പരിച്ഛേദന ഏറ്റാല് ക്രിസ്തുവിനെക്കൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ഒരു പ്രയോജനവുമില്ല എന്നു പൌലൊസായ ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

2. Beholde I Paul saye vnto you, that yf ye be , circumcised Christe shall profite you nothyng.

3. പരിച്ഛേദന ഏലക്കുന്ന ഏതു മനുഷ്യനോടുംഅവന് ന്യായപ്രമാണം മുഴുവനും നിവര്ത്തിപ്പാന് കടമ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഞാന് പിന്നെയും സാക്ഷീകരിക്കുന്നു.

3. For I testifie agayne to euery man which is circumcised, that he is a detter to do the whole lawe.

4. ന്യായപ്രമാണത്താല് നീതീകരിക്കപ്പെടുവാന് ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്ന നിങ്ങള് ക്രിസ്തുവിനോടു വേറുപെട്ടുപോയി; നിങ്ങള് കൃപയില്നിന്നു വീണുപോയി.

4. Christe is become but vayne to you, as many of you as are iustified by the lawe, are fallen from grace.

5. ഞങ്ങളോ വിശ്വാസത്താല് നീതി ലഭിക്കും എന്നുള്ള പ്രത്യാശാനിവൃത്തിയെ ആത്മാവിനാല് കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

5. For we through the spirite, wayte for the hope of ryghteousnes by fayth.

6. ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവില് പരിച്ഛേദനയല്ല അഗ്രചര്മ്മവുമല്ല സ്നേഹത്താല് വ്യാപരിക്കുന്ന വിശ്വാസമത്രേ കാര്യം.

6. For in Iesus Christe, neither is circumcision any thing woorth, neither yet vncircumcision: but fayth, which worketh by loue.

7. നിങ്ങള് നന്നായി ഔടിയിരുന്നു; സത്യം അനുസരിക്കാതിരിപ്പാന് നിങ്ങളെ ആര് തടുത്തു കളഞ്ഞു?

7. Ye dyd runne well, who was a let vnto you, that ye should not obey ye trueth?

8. ഇങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങളെ അനുസരിപ്പിച്ചതു നിങ്ങളെ വിളിച്ചവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിയല്ല.

8. Not the perfection of hym that called you.

9. അസാരം പുളിമാവു പിണ്ഡത്തെ മുഴുവനും പുളിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

9. A litle leauen, doth leauen the whole lumpe of dowe.

10. നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ഭിന്നാഭിപ്രായമുണ്ടാകയില്ല എന്നു ഞാന് കര്ത്താവില് ഉറെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്നാല് നിങ്ങളെ കലക്കുന്നവന് ആരായാലും ശിക്ഷാവിധി ചുമക്കും.

10. I haue truste towarde you in the Lorde, that ye wyll be none otherwyse mynded: But he that troubleth you, shall beare iudgement, whatsoeuer he be.

11. ഞാനോ, സഹോദരന്മാരേ, ഇപ്പോഴും പരിച്ഛേദന പ്രസംഗിക്കുന്നു എന്നു വരികില് ഇനിയും ഉപദ്രവം സഹിക്കുന്നതു എന്തു? അങ്ങനെ എങ്കില് ക്രൂശിന്റെ ഇടര്ച്ച നീങ്ങിപ്പോയല്ലോ.

11. And brethren, if I yet preache circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? Then is the slaunder of the crosse ceassed.

12. നിങ്ങളെ കലഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നവര് അംഗച്ഛേദം ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടാല് കൊള്ളായിരുന്നു.

12. I woulde to God they were cut of which trouble you.

13. സഹോദരന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങള് സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തിന്നായി വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; ഈ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം ജഡത്തിന്നു അവസരമാക്കുക മാത്രം ചെയ്യാതെ സ്നേഹത്താല് അന്യോന്യം സേവിപ്പിന് .

13. For brethren, ye haue ben called into libertie: Only let not libertie be an occasio to the flesshe, but by loue serue one another.

14. കൂട്ടുകാരനെ നിന്നെപ്പോലെ തന്നേ സ്നേഹിക്കേണം. എന്നുള്ള ഏകവാക്യത്തില് ന്യായപ്രമാണം മുഴുവനും അടങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

14. For all the lawe is fulfylled in one worde, which is this: Thou shalt loue thy neyghbour as thy selfe.

15. നിങ്ങള് അന്യോന്യം കടിക്കയും തിന്നുകളയും ചെയ്താലോ ഒരുവനാല് ഒരുവന് ഒടുങ്ങിപ്പോകാതിരിപ്പാന് സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്വിന് .

15. Yf ye byte and deuoure one another, take heede lest ye be consumed one of another.

16. ആത്മാവിനെ അനുസരിച്ചുനടപ്പിന് ; എന്നാല് നിങ്ങള് ജഡത്തിന്റെ മോഹം നിവര്ത്തിക്കയില്ല എന്നു ഞാന് പറയുന്നു.

16. Then I say, walke in the spirite, and ye shall not fulfyll the lust of the flesshe.

17. ജഡാഭിലാഷം ആത്മാവിന്നും ആത്മാഭിലാഷം ജഡത്തിന്നും വിരോധമായിരിക്കുന്നു. നിങ്ങള് ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നതു ചെയ്യാതവണ്ണം അവ തമ്മില് പ്രതിക്കുലമല്ലോ.

17. For the flesshe lusteth contrary to the spirite, and the spirite contrary to the flesshe. These are contrary one to the other, so that ye can not do what ye woulde.

18. ആത്മാവിനെ അനുസരിച്ചുനടക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് നിങ്ങള് ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന് കീഴുള്ളവരല്ല.

18. But and yf ye be ledde of the spirite, then are ye not vnder the lawe.

19. ജഡത്തിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളോ ദുര്ന്നടപ്പു, അശുദ്ധി, ദുഷ്കാമം, വിഗ്രഹാരാധന,

19. The deedes of the flesshe are manifest, which are these, adulterie, fornication, vncleannesse, wantonnesse,

20. ആഭിചാരം, പക, പിണക്കം, ജാരശങ്ക, ക്രോധം, ശാഠ്യം,

20. Worshippyng of images, witchcrafte, hatred, variaunce, zeale, wrath, strife, seditions, sectes,

21. ദ്വന്ദ്വപക്ഷം, ഭിന്നത, അസൂയ, മദ്യപാനം, വെറിക്കൂത്തു മുതലായവ എന്നു വെളിവാകുന്നു; ഈ വക പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നവന് ദൈവരാജ്യം അവകാശമാക്കുകയില്ല എന്നു ഞാന് മുമ്പെ പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ ഇപ്പോഴും നിങ്ങളോടു മുന് കൂട്ടി പറയുന്നു.

21. Enuyinges, murthers, drunkennesse, gluttonies, and such lyke: of the whiche I tell you before, as I haue tolde you in tyme past, that they which do suche thinges, shall not inherite the kingdome of God.

22. ആത്മാവിന്റെ ഫലമോസ്നേഹം, സന്തോഷം, സമാധാനം, ദീര്ഘക്ഷമ, ദയ, പരോപകാരം, വിശ്വസ്തത, സൌമ്യത,

22. But the fruite of the spirite is, loue, ioye, peace, long sufferyng, gentlenesse, goodnesse, fayth,

23. ഇന്ദ്രിയജയം; ഈ വകെക്കു വിരോധമായി ഒരു ന്യായപ്രമാണവുമില്ല.

23. Mekenesse, temperauncie: agaynst such there is no lawe.

24. ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിന്നുള്ളവര് ജഡത്തെ അതിന്റെ രാഗമോഹങ്ങളോടും കൂടെ ക്രൂശിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

24. They truely that are Christes, haue crucified the flesshe, with the affections and lustes.

25. ആത്മാവിനാല് നാം ജീവിക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് ആത്മാവിനെ അനുസരിച്ചു നടക്കുകയും ചെയ്ക.

25. Yf we lyue in ye spirite, let vs walke in the spirite.

26. നാം അന്യോന്യം പോരിന്നു വിളിച്ചും അന്യോന്യം അസൂയപ്പെട്ടുംകൊണ്ടു വൃഥാഭിമാനികള് ആകരുതു.

26. Let vs not be desirous of vayne glorie, prouoking one another, enuying one another.
