1. ദൈവേഷ്ടത്താല് ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിന്റെ അപ്പൊസ്തലനായ പൌലൊസ് (എഫെസൊസില് ഉള്ള) വിശുദ്ധന്മാരും ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവില് വിശ്വാസികളുമായവര്ക്കും എഴുതുന്നതുനമ്മുടെ പിതാവായ ദൈവത്തിങ്കല് നിന്നും കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിങ്കല് നിന്നും നിങ്ങള്ക്കു കൃപയും സമാധാനവും ഉണ്ടാകട്ടെ.

1. Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus, through God's will, unto the saints who are in Ephesus and faithful in Christ Jesus,

2. സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തിലെ സകല ആത്മികാനുഗ്രഹത്താലും നമ്മെ ക്രിസ്തുവില് അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന നമ്മുടെ കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ദൈവവും പിതാവുമായവന് വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെട്ടവന് .

2. Favour unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and Lord Jesus Christ.

3. നാം തന്റെ സന്നിധിയില് വിശുദ്ധരും നിഷ്കളങ്കരും ആകേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന് ലോകസ്ഥാപനത്തിന്നു മുമ്പെ നമ്മെ അവനില് തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കയും

3. Blessed, be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with every spiritual blessing, in the heavenlies, in Christ,

4. തിരുഹിതത്തിന്റെ പ്രസാദപ്രകാരം യേശുക്രിസ്തുമുഖാന്തരം നമ്മെ ദത്തെടുക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു

4. According as he made choice of us, in him, before the founding of a world, that we might be holy and blameless in his presence; in love,

5. അവന് പ്രിയനായവനില് നമുക്കു സൌജന്യമായി നല്കിയ തന്റെ കൃപാമഹത്വത്തിന്റെ പുകഴ്ചെക്കായി സ്നേഹത്തില് നമ്മെ മുന്നിയമിക്കയും ചെയ്തുവല്ലോ.

5. marking us out beforehand unto sonship, through Jesus Christ, for himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

6. അവനില് നമുക്കു അവന്റെ രക്തത്താല് അതിക്രമങ്ങളുടെ മോചനമെന്ന വീണ്ടെടുപ്പു ഉണ്ടു.

6. Unto the praise of the glory of his favour wherewith he favoured us in the Beloved One,

7. അതു അവന് നമുക്കു താന് ധാരാളമായി കാണിച്ച കൃപാധനപ്രകാരം സകലജ്ഞാനവും വിവേകവുമായി നല്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

7. In whom we have the redemption through his blood, the remission of our offences, according to the riches of his favour,

8. അവനില് താന് മുന്നിര്ണ്ണയിച്ച തന്റെ പ്രസാദത്തിന്നു തക്കവണ്ണം തന്റെ ഹിതത്തിന്റെ മര്മ്മം അവന് നമ്മോടു അറിയിച്ചു.

8. which he made to superabound towards us; in all wisdom and prudence,

9. അതു സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തിലും ഭൂമിയിലുമുള്ളതു എല്ലാം പിന്നെയും ക്രിസ്തുവില് ഒന്നായിച്ചേര്ക്ക എന്നിങ്ങനെ കാലസമ്പൂര്ണ്ണതയിലെ വ്യവസ്ഥെക്കായിക്കൊണ്ടു തന്നേ.

9. making known to us the sacred secret of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in him,

10. അവനില് നാം അവകാശവും പ്രാപിച്ചു, തന്റെ ഹിതത്തിന്റെ ആലോചനപോലെ സകലവും പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നവന്റെ നിര്ണ്ണയപ്രകാരം മുന്നിയമിക്കപ്പെട്ടതു

10. For an administration of the fulness of the seasons, to reunite for himself (under one head) the all things in the Christ, the things upon the heavens, and the things upon the earth, in him:

11. മുമ്പില്കൂട്ടി ക്രിസ്തുവില് ആശവെച്ചവരായ ഞങ്ങള് അവന്റെ മഹത്വത്തിന്റെ പൂകഴ്ചെക്കാകേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ.

11. In whom also we were taken as an inheritance, according to the purpose of him who energiseth all things according to the counsel of his will,

12. അവനില് നിങ്ങള്ക്കും നിങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷയെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള സുവിശേഷം എന്ന സത്യവചനം നിങ്ങള് കേള്ക്കയും അവനില് വിശ്വസിക്കയും ചെയ്തിട്ടു,

12. That we should be for the praise of his glory we who had hoped beforehand in the Christ,

13. തന്റെ സ്വന്തജനത്തിന്റെ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പിന്നു വേണ്ടി തന്റെ മഹത്വത്തിന്റെ പുകഴ്ചെക്കായിട്ടു നമ്മുടെ അവകാശത്തിന്റെ അച്ചാരമായ വാഗ്ദത്തത്തില് പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിനാല് മുദ്രയിട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

13. In whom, ye also hearing the word of the truth, the glad-message of your salvation, in whom also believing, were sealed with the Spirit of the promise, the Holy Spirit ,

14. അതുനിമിത്തം ഞാനും നിങ്ങള്ക്കു കര്ത്താവായ യേശുവിലുള്ള വിശ്വാസത്തെയും സകല വിശുദ്ധന്മാരോടുമുള്ള സ്നേഹത്തെയും കുറിച്ചു കേട്ടിട്ടു,

14. Which is an earnest of our inheritance, unto the redemption of the acquisition; unto his glorious praise.

15. നിങ്ങള്ക്കു വേണ്ടി ഇടവിടാതെ സ്തോത്രംചെയ്തു എന്റെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥനയില്

15. For this cause, I also, having heard of the faith on your part in the Lord Jesus, and that towards all the saints,

16. നിങ്ങളെ ഔര്ത്തുംകൊണ്ടു നമ്മുടെ കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ദൈവവും മഹത്വമുള്ള പിതാവുമായവന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തന്നെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള പരിജ്ഞാനത്തില് ജ്ഞാനത്തിന്റെയും വെളിപ്പാടിന്റെയും ആത്മാവിനെ തരേണ്ടതിന്നും നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയദൃഷ്ടി പ്രകാശിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടു

16. Cease not giving thanks in your behalf, making mention in my prayers,

17. അവന്റെ വിളിയാലുള്ള ആശ ഇന്നതെന്നും വിശുദ്ധന്മാരല് അവന്റെ അവകാശത്തിന്റെ മഹിമാധനം ഇന്നതെന്നും അവന്റെ ബലത്തിന് വല്ലഭത്വത്തിന്റെ വ്യാപാരത്താല് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്ന
യെശയ്യാ 11:2

17. That, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, would give you a Spirit of wisdom and understanding in gaining a personal knowledge of him,

18. നമുക്കുവേണ്ടി വ്യാപരിക്കുന്ന അവന്റെ ശക്തിയുടെ അളവറ്റ വലിപ്പം ഇന്നതെന്നും നിങ്ങള് അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നും പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കുന്നു.

18. The eyes of your heart having been enlightened, that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

19. And what the surpassing greatness of his power unto us who believe, according to the energy of the grasp of his might

20. സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില് തന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു എല്ലാ വാഴ്ചെക്കും അധികാരത്തിന്നും ശക്തിക്കും കര്ത്തൃത്വത്തിന്നും ഈ ലോകത്തില് മാത്രമല്ല വരുവാനുള്ളതിലും വിളിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന സകല നാമത്തിന്നും അത്യന്തം മീതെ ഇരുത്തുകയും

21. സര്വ്വവും അവന്റെ കാല്ക്കീഴാക്കിവെച്ചു അവനെ സര്വ്വത്തിന്നും മീതെ തലയാക്കി

21. Over-above all principality, authority, and power, and lordship, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in the coming one,

22. എല്ലാറ്റിലും എല്ലാം നിറെക്കുന്നവന്റെ നിറവായിരിക്കുന്ന അവന്റെ ശരീരമായ സഭെക്കു കൊടുക്കയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
