1. ദൈവേഷ്ടത്താല് ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിന്റെ അപ്പൊസ്തലനായ പൌലൊസ് (എഫെസൊസില് ഉള്ള) വിശുദ്ധന്മാരും ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവില് വിശ്വാസികളുമായവര്ക്കും എഴുതുന്നതുനമ്മുടെ പിതാവായ ദൈവത്തിങ്കല് നിന്നും കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിങ്കല് നിന്നും നിങ്ങള്ക്കു കൃപയും സമാധാനവും ഉണ്ടാകട്ടെ.

1. Paul an apostle of Jesu Christ, by the will of God. To the saints (which are) at Ephesus, and to them which believe on Jesus Christ.

2. സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തിലെ സകല ആത്മികാനുഗ്രഹത്താലും നമ്മെ ക്രിസ്തുവില് അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന നമ്മുടെ കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ദൈവവും പിതാവുമായവന് വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെട്ടവന് .

2. Grace be with you and peace from God our father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

3. നാം തന്റെ സന്നിധിയില് വിശുദ്ധരും നിഷ്കളങ്കരും ആകേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന് ലോകസ്ഥാപനത്തിന്നു മുമ്പെ നമ്മെ അവനില് തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കയും

3. Blessed be God the father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which hath blessed us with all manner of spiritual blessings in heavenly things by Christ,

4. തിരുഹിതത്തിന്റെ പ്രസാദപ്രകാരം യേശുക്രിസ്തുമുഖാന്തരം നമ്മെ ദത്തെടുക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു

4. according as he had chosen us in him thorow love, before the foundation of the world was laid, that we should be saints,(holy) and without blame in his sight.(and without blame before him, thorow love.)

5. അവന് പ്രിയനായവനില് നമുക്കു സൌജന്യമായി നല്കിയ തന്റെ കൃപാമഹത്വത്തിന്റെ പുകഴ്ചെക്കായി സ്നേഹത്തില് നമ്മെ മുന്നിയമിക്കയും ചെയ്തുവല്ലോ.

5. And ordained us before unto him self that we should be chosen to heirs(to receive us as children) thorow Jesus Christ,(before through Jesus Christ to be heirs unto him self) according to the pleasure of his will,

6. അവനില് നമുക്കു അവന്റെ രക്തത്താല് അതിക്രമങ്ങളുടെ മോചനമെന്ന വീണ്ടെടുപ്പു ഉണ്ടു.

6. to the praise of his glorious grace,(to the praise of the glory of his grace) where with he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

7. അതു അവന് നമുക്കു താന് ധാരാളമായി കാണിച്ച കൃപാധനപ്രകാരം സകലജ്ഞാനവും വിവേകവുമായി നല്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

7. By whom we have redemption thorow his blood, that is to say(even)(namely) the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace,

8. അവനില് താന് മുന്നിര്ണ്ണയിച്ച തന്റെ പ്രസാദത്തിന്നു തക്കവണ്ണം തന്റെ ഹിതത്തിന്റെ മര്മ്മം അവന് നമ്മോടു അറിയിച്ചു.

8. which grace he shed on us abundantly in all wisdom, and prudency.(perceivance.)

9. അതു സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തിലും ഭൂമിയിലുമുള്ളതു എല്ലാം പിന്നെയും ക്രിസ്തുവില് ഒന്നായിച്ചേര്ക്ക എന്നിങ്ങനെ കാലസമ്പൂര്ണ്ണതയിലെ വ്യവസ്ഥെക്കായിക്കൊണ്ടു തന്നേ.

9. And hath opened unto us the mystery of his will according to his pleasure, and purposed

10. അവനില് നാം അവകാശവും പ്രാപിച്ചു, തന്റെ ഹിതത്തിന്റെ ആലോചനപോലെ സകലവും പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നവന്റെ നിര്ണ്ണയപ്രകാരം മുന്നിയമിക്കപ്പെട്ടതു

10. the same in himself to have it declared when the time were full come, that all things, both the things which are in heaven, and also the things which are in earth, should be gathered together, even in Christ: that is to say in him

11. മുമ്പില്കൂട്ടി ക്രിസ്തുവില് ആശവെച്ചവരായ ഞങ്ങള് അവന്റെ മഹത്വത്തിന്റെ പൂകഴ്ചെക്കാകേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ.

11. in whom we are made heirs, and were thereto predestinate according to the purpose of him which worketh all things after the purpose(counsel) of his own will:

12. അവനില് നിങ്ങള്ക്കും നിങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷയെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള സുവിശേഷം എന്ന സത്യവചനം നിങ്ങള് കേള്ക്കയും അവനില് വിശ്വസിക്കയും ചെയ്തിട്ടു,

12. that we should be unto the praise of his glory, which before hoped(believed) in Christ.

13. തന്റെ സ്വന്തജനത്തിന്റെ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പിന്നു വേണ്ടി തന്റെ മഹത്വത്തിന്റെ പുകഴ്ചെക്കായിട്ടു നമ്മുടെ അവകാശത്തിന്റെ അച്ചാരമായ വാഗ്ദത്തത്തില് പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിനാല് മുദ്രയിട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

13. In whom also ye (after that ye heard the word of truth, I mean the gospel(gospell) of your health,(salvation) wherein ye believed) were sealed with the holy spirit of promise,

14. അതുനിമിത്തം ഞാനും നിങ്ങള്ക്കു കര്ത്താവായ യേശുവിലുള്ള വിശ്വാസത്തെയും സകല വിശുദ്ധന്മാരോടുമുള്ള സ്നേഹത്തെയും കുറിച്ചു കേട്ടിട്ടു,

14. which is the earnest of our inheritance, to redeem the possession purchased(to our redemption) (,and that) unto the laud(praise) of his glory.

15. നിങ്ങള്ക്കു വേണ്ടി ഇടവിടാതെ സ്തോത്രംചെയ്തു എന്റെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥനയില്

15. Wherefore even I (after that I heard of the faith which ye have in the Lord Jesu, and love unto all the saints)

16. നിങ്ങളെ ഔര്ത്തുംകൊണ്ടു നമ്മുടെ കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ദൈവവും മഹത്വമുള്ള പിതാവുമായവന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തന്നെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള പരിജ്ഞാനത്തില് ജ്ഞാനത്തിന്റെയും വെളിപ്പാടിന്റെയും ആത്മാവിനെ തരേണ്ടതിന്നും നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയദൃഷ്ടി പ്രകാശിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടു

16. cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers,

17. അവന്റെ വിളിയാലുള്ള ആശ ഇന്നതെന്നും വിശുദ്ധന്മാരല് അവന്റെ അവകാശത്തിന്റെ മഹിമാധനം ഇന്നതെന്നും അവന്റെ ബലത്തിന് വല്ലഭത്വത്തിന്റെ വ്യാപാരത്താല് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്ന
യെശയ്യാ 11:2

17. that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the father of glory, might give unto you the spirit of wisdom, and open to you the knowledge of himself,

18. നമുക്കുവേണ്ടി വ്യാപരിക്കുന്ന അവന്റെ ശക്തിയുടെ അളവറ്റ വലിപ്പം ഇന്നതെന്നും നിങ്ങള് അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നും പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കുന്നു.

18. and lighten the eyes of your minds,(understanding) that ye might know what thing that hope is, whereunto he hath called you,(what is the hope of your calling) and how glorious the riches of his(what the riches of his glorious) inheritance is upon the saints,

19. അങ്ങനെ അവന് ക്രിസ്തുവിലും വ്യാപരിച്ചു അവനെ മരിച്ചവരുടെ ഇടയില്നിന്നു ഉയിര്പ്പിക്കയും

19. and what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us ward,(toward us) which believe according to the working of that his mighty power,

20. സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില് തന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു എല്ലാ വാഴ്ചെക്കും അധികാരത്തിന്നും ശക്തിക്കും കര്ത്തൃത്വത്തിന്നും ഈ ലോകത്തില് മാത്രമല്ല വരുവാനുള്ളതിലും വിളിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന സകല നാമത്തിന്നും അത്യന്തം മീതെ ഇരുത്തുകയും

20. which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from death,(the dead) and set him on his right hand in heavenly things,

21. സര്വ്വവും അവന്റെ കാല്ക്കീഴാക്കിവെച്ചു അവനെ സര്വ്വത്തിന്നും മീതെ തലയാക്കി

21. above all rule, power, and might, and domination, and above all names that are named, not in this world only, but also in the world to come.

22. എല്ലാറ്റിലും എല്ലാം നിറെക്കുന്നവന്റെ നിറവായിരിക്കുന്ന അവന്റെ ശരീരമായ സഭെക്കു കൊടുക്കയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
