1. പൌലൊസും സില്വാനൊസും തിമൊഥെയൊസും പിതാവായ ദൈവത്തിലും കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിലുമുള്ള തെസ്സലൊനീക്യസഭെക്കു എഴുതുന്നതു

1. Pavl and Siluanus and Timotheus. To the congregacion of ye Tessalonias in God oure father and in the LORDE Iesus Christ.

2. പിതാവായ ദൈവത്തിങ്കല് നിന്നും കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിങ്കല്നിന്നും നിങ്ങള്ക്കു കൃപയും സമാധാനവും ഉണ്ടാകട്ടെ.

2. Grace be with you, and peace from God oure father, and from the LORDE Iesus Christ.

3. സഹോദരന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ വിശ്വാസം ഏറ്റവും വര്ദ്ധിച്ചും ആളാംപ്രതി നിങ്ങള്ക്കു എല്ലാവര്ക്കും അന്യോന്യം സ്നേഹം പെരുകിയും വരികയാല് ഞങ്ങള് യോഗ്യമാകുംവണ്ണം ദൈവത്തിന്നു എപ്പോഴും നിങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്വാന് കടമ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

4. so that we oure selues make oure boast of you (in the congregacions of God) of youre paciece and faith in all youre persecucions and troubles that ye suffre,

5. അതു നിങ്ങള് കഷ്ടപ്പെടുവാന് ഹേതുവായിരിക്കുന്ന ദൈവരാജ്യത്തിന്നു നിങ്ങളെ യോഗ്യന്മാരായി എണ്ണും എന്നിങ്ങനെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നീതിയുള്ള വിധിക്കു അടയാളം ആകുന്നു.

5. which is a token of the righteous iudgment of God, that ye are counted worthy of the kyngdome of God, for the which ye also suffre.

6. കര്ത്താവായ യേശു തന്റെ ശക്തിയുള്ള ദൂതന്മാരുമായി സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില് നിന്നു അഗ്നിജ്വാലയില് പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി

8. നിങ്ങളെ പീഡിപ്പിക്കുന്നവര്ക്കും പീഡയും പീഡ അനുഭവിക്കുന്ന നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ഞങ്ങളോടു കൂടെ ആശ്വാസവും പകരം നലക്കുന്നതു ദൈവസന്നിധിയില് നീതിയല്ലോ.

9. Which shalbe punyshed with euerlastinge damnacion, from ye presence of the LORDE, and from the glory of his power,

11. അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞങ്ങള് നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെയും കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെയും കൃപയാല് നമ്മുടെ കര്ത്താവായ യേശുവിന്റെ നാമം നിങ്ങളിലും നിങ്ങള് അവനിലും മഹത്വപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നു

11. Wherfore we praye allwayes for you, that oure God make you worthy of ye callynge, and fulfill all delectacion of goodnes, and the worke of faith in power,
