1. കുഞ്ഞാടു മുദ്രകളില് ഒന്നു പൊട്ടിച്ചപ്പോള്നീ വരിക എന്നു നാലു ജീവികളില് ഒന്നു ഇടി മുഴക്കം പോലെ പറയുന്നതു ഞാന് കേട്ടു.

1. And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals. And I heard one of the four living creatures, like a sound of thunder, saying, Come and see.

2. അപ്പോള് ഞാന് ഒരു വെള്ളകൂതിരയെ കണ്ടു; അതിന്മേല് ഇരിക്കുന്നവന്റെ കയ്യില് ഒരു വില്ലുണ്ടു; അവന്നു ഒരു കിരീടവും ലഭിച്ചു; അവന് ജയിക്കുന്നവനായും ജയിപ്പാനായും പുറപ്പെട്ടു.

2. And I saw, and behold, a white horse! And the one sitting on it had a bow. And a crown was given to him, and he went out overcoming, and that he might overcome.

4. അപ്പോള് ചുവന്നതായ മറ്റൊരു കുതിര പുറപ്പെട്ടു; അതിന്റെ പുറത്തു ഇരിക്കുന്നവന്നു മനുഷ്യര് അന്യോന്യം കൊല്ലുവാന് തക്കവണ്ണം ഭൂമിയില് നിന്നു സമാധാനം എടുത്തുകളയേണ്ടതിന്നു അധികാരം ലഭിച്ചു; ഒരു വലിയ വാളും അവന്നു കിട്ടി.

4. And another horse went out, red. And it was given to the one sitting on it to take peace from the earth, and that they should slay one another. And a great sword was given to him.

6. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, A choenix of wheat for a denarius, and three choenixes of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine.

7. നാലാം മുദ്ര പൊട്ടിച്ചപ്പോള്വരിക എന്നു നാലാം ജീവി പറയുന്നതു ഞാന് കേട്ടു.

7. And when He opened the fourth seal, I heard a voice of the fourth living creature saying, Come and see.

8. അപ്പോള് ഞാന് മഞ്ഞനിറമുള്ളോരു കുതിരയെ കണ്ടു; അതിന്മേല് ഇരിക്കുന്നവന്നു മരണം എന്നു പേര്; പാതാളം അവനെ പിന്തുടര്ന്നു; അവര്ക്കും വാളുകൊണ്ടും ക്ഷാമംകൊണ്ടും മഹാവ്യാധികൊണ്ടും ഭൂമിയിലെ കാട്ടുമൃഗങ്ങളെക്കൊണ്ടും കൊന്നുകളവാന് ഭൂമിയുടെ കാലംശത്തിന്മേല് അധികാരം ലഭിച്ചു.

9. And when He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those having been slain for the Word of God, and for the witness which they had.

10. And they cried with a great voice, saying, Until when, holy and true Master, do You not judge and take vengeance for our blood, from those dwelling on the earth?

11. And there was given to each one a white robe. And it was said to them that they should rest yet a little time, until might be fulfilled also the number of their fellow-slaves and their brothers, those being about to be killed, even as they.

12. And I saw when He opened the sixth seal. And behold, a great earthquake occurred. And the sun became black as sackcloth made of hair; and the moon became as blood;
