1. അപ്പോള് ശലോമോന് താന് കൂരിരുളില് വസിക്കുമെന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു;

1. Then Solomon spoke, LORD has said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.

2. എങ്കിലും ഞാന് നിനക്കു ഒരു നിവാസാലയം, നിനക്കു എന്നേക്കും വസിപ്പാന് ഒരു സ്ഥലം പണിതിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

2. But I have built for thee a house of habitation, and a place for thee to dwell in forever.

3. പിന്നെ യിസ്രായേല്സഭ മുഴുവനും നില്ക്കെ രാജാവു തന്റെ മുഖം തിരിച്ചു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ സര്വ്വസഭയേയും

3. And the king turned his face, and blessed all the assembly of Israel. And all the assembly of Israel stood.

4. അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞതു എന്തെന്നാല്എന്റെ അപ്പനായ ദാവീദിനോടു തിരുവായ് കൊണ്ടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു തൃക്കൈകൊണ്ടു നിവര്ത്തിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെട്ടവന് .

4. And he said, Blessed be LORD, the God of Israel, who spoke with his mouth to David my father, and has with his hands fulfilled it, saying,

5. എന്റെ ജനത്തെ മിസ്രയീം ദേശത്തുനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവന്ന നാള്മുതല് എന്റെ നാമം ഇരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഒരു ആലയം പണിവാന് ഞാന് യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ സകല ഗോത്രങ്ങളിലും ഒരു പട്ടണവും തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തില്ല; എന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേലിന്നു പ്രഭുവായിരിപ്പാന് ഞാന് ഒരുത്തനെയും തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തതുമില്ല.

5. Since the day that I brought forth my people out of the land of Egypt, I chose no city out of all the tribes of Israel to build a house in that my name might be there. Neither did I choose any man to be ruler over my people Israel.

6. എങ്കിലും എന്റെ നാമം ഇരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു യെരൂശലേമിനെയും എന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേലിനെ വാഴുവാന് ദാവീദിനെയും ഞാന് തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അവന് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

6. But I have chosen Jerusalem that my name might be there. And have chosen David to be over my people Israel.

7. യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിന്നു ഒരു ആലയം പണിയേണം എന്നു എന്റെ അപ്പനായ ദാവീദിന്നു താല്പര്യം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

7. Now it was in the heart of David my father to build a house for the name of LORD, the God of Israel.

8. എന്നാല് യഹോവ എന്റെ അപ്പനായ ദാവീദിനോടുഎന്റെ നാമത്തിന്നു ഒരു ആലയം പണിയേണമെന്നു നിനക്കു താല്പര്യം ഉണ്ടായല്ലോ; ഇങ്ങനെ താല്പര്യം ഉണ്ടായതു നല്ലതു;

8. But LORD said to David my father, Whereas it was in thy heart to build a house for my name, thou did well that it was in thy heart.

9. എങ്കിലും ആലയം പണിയേണ്ടതു നീയല്ല; നിന്റെ കടിപ്രദേശത്തുനിന്നുത്ഭവിക്കുന്ന മകന് തന്നേ എന്റെ നാമത്തിന്നു ആലയം പണിയും എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

9. Nevertheless thou shall not build the house, but thy son who shall come forth out of thy loins, he shall build the house for my name.

10. അങ്ങനെ യഹോവ താന് അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത വചനം നിവര്ത്തിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; യഹോവ വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്തതുപോലെ എന്റെ അപ്പനായ ദാവീദിന്നു പകരം ഞാന് എഴുന്നേറ്റു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തില് ഇരുന്നു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിന്നു ഒരു ആലയം പണിതിരിക്കുന്നു.

10. And LORD has performed his word that he spoke. For I have risen up in the place of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, as LORD promised, and have built the house for the name of LORD, the God of Israel.

11. യഹോവ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടു ചെയ്ത നിയമം ഉള്ള പെട്ടകം ഞാന് അതില് വെച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടു.

11. And there I have set the ark in which is the covenant of LORD, which he made with the sons of Israel.

12. അനന്തരം അവന് യഹോവയുടെ യാഗപീഠത്തിന് മുമ്പില് യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ സര്വ്വസഭയുടെയും സമക്ഷത്തു നിന്നുംകൊണ്ടു കൈ മലര്ത്തി;

12. And he stood before the altar of LORD in the presence of all the assembly of Israel, and spread forth his hands.

13. ശലോമോന് അഞ്ചു മുഴം നീളവും അഞ്ചു മുഴം വീതിയും മൂന്നു മുഴം ഉയരവുമായിട്ടു താമ്രംകൊണ്ടു ഒരു പീഠം ഉണ്ടാക്കി പ്രാകാരത്തിന്റെ നടുവില് വെച്ചിരുന്നു; അതില് അവന് കയറിനിന്നു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ സര്വ്വസഭെക്കും മുമ്പാകെ മുട്ടുകുത്തി ആകാശത്തേക്കു കൈ മലര്ത്തി പറഞ്ഞതു എന്തെന്നാല്

13. For Solomon had made a brazen scaffold, five cubits long, and five cubits broad, and three cubits high, and had set it in the midst of the court. And upon it he stood, and knelt down upon his knees before all the assembly of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven.

14. യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, പൂര്ണ്ണഹൃദയത്തോടെ നിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നടക്കുന്ന നിന്റെ ദാസന്മാര്ക്കായി നിയമവും ദയയും പാലിക്കുന്നവനായ നിന്നെപ്പോലെ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തിലും ഭൂമിയിലും ഒരു ദൈവവും ഇല്ല.

14. And he said, O LORD, the God of Israel, there is no God like thee, in heaven, or on earth, who keep covenant and loving kindness with thy servants, who walk before thee with all their heart,

15. നീ എന്റെ അപ്പനായ ദാവീദ് എന്ന നിന്റെ ദാസന്നു ചെയ്ത വാഗ്ദാനം പാലിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; തിരുവായ്കൊണ്ടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു ഇന്നു കാണുംപോലെ തൃക്കൈകൊണ്ടു നിവര്ത്തിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

15. who have kept with thy servant David my father that which thou promised him. Yea, thou spoke with thy mouth, and have fulfilled it with thy hand, as it is this day.

16. ആകയാല് യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, നീ എന്റെ അപ്പനായ ദാവീദ് എന്ന നിന്റെ ദാസനോടുനീ എന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നടന്നതുപോലെ നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും എന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണപ്രകാരം നടക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു തങ്ങളുടെ വഴി സൂക്ഷിക്കമാത്രം ചെയ്താല് യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തില് ഇരിപ്പാന് നിനക്കു ഒരു പുരുഷന് എന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ ഇല്ലാതെ വരികയില്ല എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നതു നിവര്ത്തിക്കേണമേ.

16. Now therefore, O LORD, the God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that which thou have promised him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel, if only thy sons take heed to their way, to walk in my law as thou have walked before me.

17. യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദിനോടു നീ അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത വചനം ഒത്തുവരുമാറാകട്ടെ.

17. Now therefore, O LORD, the God of Israel, let thy word be verified, which thou spoke to thy servant David.

18. എന്നാല് ദൈവം യഥാര്ത്ഥമായി ഭൂമിയില് മനുഷ്യരോടുകൂടെ വസിക്കുമോ? സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തിലും സ്വര്ഗ്ഗാധിസ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തിലും നീ അടങ്ങുകയില്ലല്ലോ; പിന്നെ ഞാന് പണിതിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ ആലയത്തില് അടങ്ങുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ?

18. But will God in very deed dwell with men on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain thee. How much less this house which I have built!

19. എങ്കിലും എന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, അടിയന് തിരുമുമ്പില് കഴിക്കുന്ന നിലവിളിയും പ്രാര്ത്ഥനയും കേള്ക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അടിയന്റെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥനയിലേക്കും യാചനയിലേക്കും തിരിഞ്ഞു കടാക്ഷിക്കേണമേ.

19. Yet have thou respect to the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplication, O LORD my God, to hearken to the cry and to the prayer which thy servant prays before thee,

20. അടിയന് ഈ സ്ഥലത്തുവെച്ചു കഴിക്കുന്ന പ്രാര്ത്ഥന കേള്ക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിന്റെ നാമം സ്ഥാപിക്കുമെന്നു നീ അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത സ്ഥലമായ ഈ ആലയത്തിന്മേല് രാവും പകലും തൃക്കണ്പാര്ത്തരുളേണമേ.

20. that thine eyes may be open toward this house day and night, even toward the place of which thou have said that thou would put thy name there, to hearken to the prayer which thy servant shall pray toward this place.

21. ഈ സ്ഥലത്തുവെച്ചു പ്രാര്ത്ഥിപ്പാനിരിക്കുന്ന അടിയന്റെയും നിന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെയും യാചനകളെ കേള്ക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ വാസസ്ഥലമായ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില് നിന്നു കേള്ക്കേണമേ; കേട്ടുക്ഷമിക്കേണമേ.

21. And hearken thou to the supplications of thy servant, and of thy people Israel, when they shall pray toward this place. Yea, hear thou from thy dwelling-place, even from heaven, and when thou hear forgive.

22. ഒരുത്തന് തന്റെ കൂട്ടുകാരനോടു കുറ്റം ചെയ്കയും അവന് അവനെക്കൊണ്ടു സത്യം ചെയ്യിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു കാര്യം സത്യത്തിന്നു വെക്കുകയും അവന് ഈ ആലയത്തില് നിന്റെ യാഗപീഠത്തിന്നു മുമ്പാകെ വന്നു സത്യം ചെയ്കയും ചെയ്താല്

22. If a man sins against his neighbor, and an oath be laid upon him to cause him to swear, and he comes and swears before thine altar in this house,

23. നീ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു കേട്ടു പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചു ദുഷ്ടന്റെ നടപ്പു അവന്റെ തലമേല്തന്നേ വരുത്തി പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്വാനും നീതിമാന്റെ നീതിക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണം അവന്നു നല്കി നീതീകരിപ്പാനും അടിയങ്ങള്ക്കു ന്യായം പാലിച്ചുതരേണമേ.

23. then hear thou from heaven, and do, and judge thy servants, requiting the wicked, to bring his way upon his own head, and justifying the righteous, to give him according to his righteousness.

24. നിന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേല് നിന്നോടു പാപം ചെയ്ക നിമിത്തം അവര് ശത്രുവിനോടു തോറ്റിട്ടു തിരിഞ്ഞു നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ സ്വീകരിച്ചു കൊണ്ടു ഈ ആലയത്തില്വെച്ചു നിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കയും യാചിക്കയും ചെയ്താല്

24. And if thy people Israel be smitten down before the enemy because they have sinned against thee, and shall turn again and confess thy name, and pray and make supplication before thee in this house,

25. നീ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില് നിന്നു കേട്ടു നിന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പാപം ക്ഷമിച്ചു നീ അവര്ക്കും അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാര്ക്കും കൊടുത്ത ദേശത്തേക്കു അവരെ തിരിച്ചു വരുത്തേണമേ.

25. then hear thou from heaven, and forgive the sin of thy people Israel, and bring them again to the land which thou gave to them and to their fathers.

26. അവര് നിന്നോടു പാപം ചെയ്കകൊണ്ടു ആകാശം അടെഞ്ഞു മഴ പെയ്യാതിരിക്കുമ്പോള് അവര് ഈ സ്ഥലത്തിലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞു പ്രാര്ത്ഥിച്ചു നിന്റെ നാമം സ്വീകരിക്കയും നീ അവരെ താഴ്ത്തിയതുകൊണ്ടു അവര് തങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങളെ വിട്ടുതിരികയും ചെയ്താല്,

26. When the heavens are shut up, and there is no rain, because they have sinned against thee, if they pray toward this place, and confess thy name, and turn from their sin when thou do afflict them,

27. നീ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു കേട്ടു നിന്റെ ദാസന്മാരുടെയും നിന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെയും പാപം ക്ഷമിച്ചു അവര് നടക്കേണ്ടുന്ന നല്ലവഴി അവരെ ഉപദേശിക്കയും നിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്നു അവകാശമായി കൊടുത്ത നിന്റെ ദേശത്തു മഴപെയ്യിക്കയും ചെയ്യേണമേ.

27. then hear thou in heaven, and forgive the sin of thy servants, and of thy people Israel, when thou teach them the good way wherein they should walk, and send rain upon thy land, which thou have given to thy people for an inheritance.

28. ദേശത്തു ക്ഷാമമോ മഹാമാരിയോ വെണ്കതിര്, വിഷമഞ്ഞു, വെട്ടുക്കിളി, തുള്ളന് എന്നിവയോ ഉണ്ടായാല്, അവരുടെ ശത്രുക്കള് അവരുടെ പട്ടണങ്ങളുള്ള ദേശത്തില് അവരെ നിരോധിച്ചാല്, വല്ല വ്യാധിയോ വല്ല ദീനമോ ഉണ്ടായാല്,

28. If there be in the land famine, if there be pestilence, if there be blight or mildew, locust or caterpillar, if their enemies besiege them in the land of their cities, whatever plague or whatever sickness there be,

29. യാതൊരുത്തനെങ്കിലും നിന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേല് മുഴുവനെങ്കിലും വല്ല പ്രാര്ത്ഥനയും യാചനയും കഴിക്കയും ഔരോരുത്തന് താന്താന്റെ വ്യാധിയും ദുഃഖവും അറിഞ്ഞു ഈ ആയലത്തിങ്കലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞു കൈ മലര്ത്തുകയും ചെയ്താല്,

29. whatever prayer and supplication be made by any man, or by all thy people Israel, who shall know every man his own plague and his own sorrow, and shall spread forth his hands toward this house,

30. നീ നിന്റെ വാസസ്ഥലമായ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില് നിന്നു കേട്ടു ക്ഷമിക്കയും

30. then hear thou from heaven thy dwelling-place and forgive, and render to every man according to all his ways, whose heart thou know, (for thou, even thou only, know the hearts of the sons of men),

31. ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാര്ക്കും കൊടുത്ത ദേശത്തു അവര് ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കും കാലത്തൊക്കെയും നിന്റെ വഴികളില് നടപ്പാന് തക്കവണ്ണം നിന്നെ ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ ഔരോരുത്തന്റെ ഹൃദയം അറിയുന്നതുപോലെ ഔരോരുത്തന്നു അവനവന്റെ നടപ്പുപോലെ ഒക്കെയും നലകുകയും ചെയ്യേണമേ; നീ മാത്രമല്ലോ മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളെ അറിയുന്നതു.

31. that they may fear thee, to walk in thy ways so long as they live in the land which thou gave to our fathers.

32. നിന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേലില് ഉള്ളവനല്ലാത്ത അന്യജാതിക്കാരന് നിന്റെ മഹത്വമുള്ള നാമവും ബലമുള്ള കയ്യും നീട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്ന ഭുജവും ഹേതുവായി ദൂരദേശത്തുനിന്നു വന്നാല് -- അവര് ഈ ആയലത്തില് വന്നു പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കും നിശ്ചയം--

32. Moreover concerning the foreigner, who is not of thy people Israel, when he shall come from a far country for thy great name's sake, and thy mighty hand, and thine outstretched arm, when they shall come and pray toward this house,

33. നീ നിന്റെ വാസസ്ഥലമായ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു കേട്ടു ഭൂമിയിലെ സകലജാതികളും നിന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേല് എന്നപോലെ നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ അറിഞ്ഞു നിന്നെ ഭയപ്പെടുകയും ഞാന് പണിതിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ ആലയത്തിന്നു നിന്റെ നാമം വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അറികയും ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു അന്യജാതിക്കാരന് നിന്നോടു പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കുന്നതൊക്കെയും ചെയ്തുകൊടുക്കേണമേ.

33. then hear thou from heaven, even from thy dwelling-place, and do according to all that the foreigner calls to thee for, that all the peoples of the earth may know thy name, and fear thee, as do thy people Israel, and that they may know that this house which I have built is called by thy name.

34. നീ നിന്റെ ജനത്തെ അയക്കുന്ന വഴിയില് അവര് തങ്ങളുടെ ശത്രുക്കളോടു യുദ്ധം ചെയ്വാന് പുറപ്പെടുമ്പോള് നീ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത ഈ നഗരത്തിലേക്കും ഞാന് നിന്റെ നാമത്തിന്നു പണിതിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ ആലയത്തിലേക്കും തിരിഞ്ഞു നിന്നോടു പ്രാര്ത്ഥിച്ചാല്

34. If thy people go out to battle against their enemies, by whatever way thou shall send them, and they pray to thee toward this city which thou have chosen, and the house which I have built for thy name,

35. നീ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു അവരുടെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥനയും യാചനയും കേട്ടു അവര്ക്കും ന്യായം പാലിച്ചുകൊടുക്കേണമേ.

35. then hear thou from heaven their prayer and their supplication, and maintain their cause.

36. അവര് നിന്നോടു പാപം ചെയ്കയും - പാപം ചെയ്യാത്ത മനുഷ്യന് ഇല്ലല്ലോ - നീ അവരോടു കോപിച്ചു അവരെ ശത്രുക്കള്ക്കു ഏല്പിക്കയും അവര് അവരെ ദൂരത്തോ സമീപത്തോ ഉള്ള ദേശത്തേക്കു ബദ്ധരാക്കി കൊണ്ടുപോകയും ചെയ്താല്

36. If they sin against thee (for there is no man that sins not), and thou be angry with them, and deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away captive to a land far off or near,

37. അവരെ പിടിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോയിരിക്കുന്ന ദേശത്തുവെച്ചു അവര് തങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയത്തില് ഉണര്ന്നു പ്രവാസദേശത്തുവെച്ചുഞങ്ങള് പാപംചെയ്തു അകൃത്യവും ദുഷ്ടതയും പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു നിന്നോടു യാചിക്കയും

37. yet if they shall rethink themselves in the land where they are carried captive, and turn again, and make supplication to thee in the land of their captivity, saying, We have sinned, we have done perversely, and have dealt wickedly,

38. അവരെ പിടിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോയ പ്രവാസദേശത്തുവെച്ചു അവര് പൂര്ണ്ണഹൃദയത്തോടും പൂര്ണ്ണമനസ്സോടുംകൂടെ നിങ്കലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞു നീ അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാര്ക്കും കൊടുത്ത ദേശത്തേക്കും നീ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത നഗരത്തിലേക്കും ഞാന് നിന്റെ നാമത്തിന്നു പണിതിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ ആലയത്തിലേക്കും നോക്കി പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കയും ചെയ്താല്

38. if they return to thee with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their captivity where they have carried them captive, and pray toward their land, which thou gave to their fathers, and the city which thou have chosen, and toward the house which I have built for thy name,

39. നീ നിന്റെ വാസസ്ഥലമായ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു അവരുടെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥനയും യാചനകളും കേട്ടു അവര്ക്കും ന്യായം പാലിച്ചുകൊടുത്തു നിന്നോടു പാപം ചെയ്ത നിന്റെ ജനത്തോടു ക്ഷമിക്കേണമേ.

39. then hear thou from heaven, even from thy dwelling-place, their prayer and their supplications, and maintain their case, and forgive thy people who have sinned against thee.

40. ഇപ്പോഴും എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, ഈ സ്ഥലത്തുവെച്ചു കഴിക്കുന്ന പ്രാര്ത്ഥനെക്കു നിന്റെ കണ്ണു തുറന്നും നിന്റെ ചെവി ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചും ഇരിക്കേണമേ.

40. Now, O my God, let, I beseech thee, thine eyes be open, and let thine ears be attendant to the prayer that is made in this place.

41. ആകയാല് യഹോവയായ ദൈവമേ, നീയും നിന്റെ ബലത്തിന്റെ പെട്ടകവും എഴുന്നേറ്റു നിന്റെ വിശ്രാമത്തിലേക്കു വരേണമേ; യഹോവയായ ദൈവമേ, നിന്റെ പുരോഹിതന്മാര് രക്ഷാവസ്ത്രം ധരിക്കയും നിന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാര് നന്മയില് സന്തോഷിക്കയും ചെയ്യുമാറാകട്ടെ.

41. Now therefore arise, O LORD God, into thy resting-place, thou, and the ark of thy strength. Let thy priests, O LORD God, be clothed with salvation, and let thy sanctified rejoice in goodness.

42. യഹോവയായ ദൈവമേ, നിന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തന്റെ മുഖം ത്യജിച്ചുകളയരുതേ; നിന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദിനോടുള്ള കൃപകളെ ഔര്ക്കേണമേ.

42. O LORD God, do not turn away the face of thine anointed. Remember thy loving kindnesses to David thy servant.
