1. എന് മനമേ, യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക; എന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, നീ ഏറ്റവും വലിയവന് ; മഹത്വവും തേജസ്സും നീ ധരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു;

1. My soule, prayse thou the Lord: O Lord my God, thou art exceeding great, thou art clothed with glorie and honour.

2. വസ്ത്രം ധരിക്കുമ്പോലെ നീ പ്രകാശത്തെ ധരിക്കുന്നു; തിരശ്ശീലപോലെ നീ ആകാശത്തെ വിരിക്കുന്നു.

2. Which couereth himselfe with light as with a garment, and spreadeth the heauens like a curtaine.

3. അവന് തന്റെ മാളികകളുടെ തുലാങ്ങളെ വെള്ളത്തിന്മേല് നിരത്തുന്നു; മേഘങ്ങളെ തന്റെ തേരാക്കി, കാറ്റിന് ചിറകിന്മേല് സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നു.

3. Which layeth the beames of his chambers in the waters, and maketh the cloudes his chariot, and walketh vpon the wings of the winde.

4. അവന് കാറ്റുകളെ തന്റെ ദൂതന്മാരും അഗ്നിജ്വാലയെ തന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷകന്മാരും ആക്കുന്നു.

4. Which maketh his spirits his messengers, and a flaming fire his ministers.

5. അവന് ഭൂമിയെ അതൊരിക്കലും ഇളകിപ്പോകാതവണ്ണം അതിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിന്മേല് സ്ഥാപിച്ചരിക്കുന്നു.

5. He set the earth vpon her foundations, so that it shall neuer moue.

6. നീ അതിനെ വസ്ത്രംകൊണ്ടെന്നപോലെ ആഴികൊണ്ടു മൂടി; വെള്ളം പര്വ്വതങ്ങള്ക്കു മീതെ നിന്നു.

6. Thou coueredst it with the deepe as with a garment: the waters woulde stand aboue the mountaines.

7. അവ നിന്റെ ശാസനയാല് ഔടിപ്പോയി; നിന്റെ ഇടിമുഴക്കത്താല് അവ ബദ്ധപ്പെട്ടു -

7. But at thy rebuke they flee: at the voyce of thy thunder they haste away.

8. മലകള് പൊങ്ങി, താഴ്വരകള് താണു - നീ അവേക്കു നിശ്ചയിച്ച സ്ഥലത്തേക്കു വാങ്ങിപ്പോയി;

8. And the mountaines ascend, and the valleis descend to the place which thou hast established for them.

9. ഭൂമിയെ മൂടുവാന് മടങ്ങിവരാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ അവേക്കു കടന്നുകൂടാത്ത ഒരു അതിര് ഇട്ടു.

9. But thou hast set them a bounde, which they shall not passe: they shall not returne to couer the earth.

10. അവന് ഉറവുകളെ താഴ്വരകളിലേക്കു ഒഴുക്കുന്നു; അവ മലകളുടെ ഇടയില്കൂടി ഒലിക്കുന്നു.

10. He sendeth the springs into the valleis, which runne betweene the mountaines.

11. അവയില്നിന്നു വയലിലെ സകലമൃഗങ്ങളും കുടിക്കുന്നു; കാട്ടുകഴുതകളും തങ്ങളുടെ ദാഹം തീര്ക്കുംന്നു;

11. They shall giue drinke to all the beasts of the fielde, and the wilde asses shall quench their thirst.

12. അവയുടെ തീരങ്ങളില് ആകാശത്തിലെ പറവകള് വസിക്കയും കൊമ്പുകളുടെ ഇടയില് പാടുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

12. By these springs shall the foules of the heauen dwell, and sing among the branches.

13. അവന് തന്റെ മാളികകളില് നിന്നു മലകളെ നനെക്കുന്നു; ഭൂമിക്കു നിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളുടെ ഫലത്താല് തൃപ്തിവരുന്നു.

13. He watereth the mountaines from his chambers, and the earth is filled with the fruite of thy workes.

14. അവന് മൃഗങ്ങള്ക്കു പുല്ലും മനുഷ്യന്റെ ഉപയോഗത്തിന്നായി സസ്യവും മുളെപ്പിക്കുന്നു;

14. He causeth grasse to growe for the cattell, and herbe for the vse of man, that he may bring forth bread out of the earth,

15. അവന് ഭൂമിയില്നിന്നു ആഹാരവും മനുഷ്യന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തെ സന്തോഷിപ്പിക്കുന്ന വീഞ്ഞും അവന്റെ മുഖത്തെ മിനുക്കുവാന് എണ്ണയും മനുഷ്യന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തെ ബലപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന അപ്പവും ഉത്ഭവിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

15. And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oyle to make the face to shine, and bread that strengtheneth mans heart.

16. യഹോവയുടെ വൃക്ഷങ്ങള്ക്കു തൃപ്തിവരുന്നു; അവന് നട്ടിട്ടുള്ള ലെബാനോനിലെ ദേവദാരുക്കള്ക്കു തന്നേ.

16. The high trees are satisfied, euen the cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted,

17. അവിടെ പക്ഷികള് കൂടുണ്ടാക്കുന്നു; പെരുഞാറെക്കു സരളവൃക്ഷങ്ങള് പാര്പ്പിടമാകുന്നു.

17. That ye birdes may make their nestes there: the storke dwelleth in the firre trees.

18. ഉയര്ന്നമലകള് കാട്ടാടുകള്ക്കും പാറകള് കുഴിമുയലുകള്ക്കും സങ്കേതമാകുന്നു.

18. The high mountaines are for the goates: the rockes are a refuge for the conies.

19. അവന് കാലനിര്ണ്ണയത്തിന്നായി ചന്ദ്രനെ നിയമിച്ചു; സൂര്യന് തന്റെ അസ്തമാനത്തെ അറിയുന്നു.

19. He appoynted the moone for certaine seasons: the sunne knoweth his going downe.

20. നീ ഇരുട്ടു വരുത്തുന്നു; രാത്രി ഉണ്ടാകുന്നു; അപ്പോള് കാട്ടുമൃഗങ്ങളൊക്കെയും സഞ്ചാരം തുടങ്ങുന്നു.

20. Thou makest darkenesse, and it is night, wherein all the beastes of the forest creepe forth.

21. ബാലസിംഹങ്ങള് ഇരെക്കായി അലറുന്നു; അവ ദൈവത്തോടു തങ്ങളുടെ ആഹാരം ചോദിക്കുന്നു.

21. The lions roare after their praye, and seeke their meate at God.

22. സൂര്യന് ഉദിക്കുമ്പോള് അവ മടങ്ങുന്നു; തങ്ങളുടെ ഗുഹകളില് ചെന്നു കിടക്കുന്നു.

22. When the sunne riseth, they retire, and couche in their dennes.

23. മനുഷ്യന് തന്റെ പണിക്കു പുറപ്പെടുന്നു; സന്ധ്യവരെയുള്ള തന്റെ വേലെക്കായി തന്നേ.

23. Then goeth man forth to his worke, and to his labour vntill the euening.

24. യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികള് എത്ര പെരുകിയിരിക്കുന്നു! ജ്ഞാനത്തോടെ നീ അവയെ ഒക്കെയും ഉണ്ടാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഭൂമി നിന്റെ സൃഷ്ടികളാല് നിറെഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

24. O Lord, howe manifolde are thy workes! in wisdome hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.

25. വലിപ്പവും വിസ്താരവും ഉള്ള സമുദ്രം അതാ കിടക്കുന്നു! അതില് സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്ന ചെറിയതും വലിയതുമായ അസംഖ്യജന്തുക്കള് ഉണ്ടു.

25. So is this sea great and wide: for therein are things creeping innumerable, both small beastes and great.

26. അതില് കപ്പലുകള് ഔടുന്നു; അതില് കളിപ്പാന് നീ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ ലിവ്യാഥാന് ഉണ്ടു.

26. There goe the shippes, yea, that Liuiathan, whom thou hast made to play therein.

27. തക്കസമയത്തു തീന് കിട്ടേണ്ടതിന്നു ഇവ ഒക്കെയും നിന്നെ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

27. All these waite vpon thee, that thou maiest giue them foode in due season.

28. നീ കൊടുക്കുന്നതിനെ അവ പെറുക്കുന്നു തൃക്കൈ തുറക്കുമ്പോള് അവേക്കു നന്മകൊണ്ടു തൃപ്തിവരുന്നു.

28. Thou giuest it to them, and they gather it: thou openest thine hand, and they are filled with good things.

29. തിരുമുഖത്തെ മറെക്കുമ്പോള് അവ ഭ്രമിച്ചു പോകുന്നു; നീ അവയുടെ ശ്വാസം എടുക്കുമ്പോള് അവ ചത്തു പൊടിയിലേക്കു തിരികെ ചേരുന്നു;

29. But if thou hide thy face, they are troubled: if thou take away their breath, they dye and returne to their dust.

30. നീ നിന്റെ ശ്വാസം അയക്കുമ്പോള് അവ സൃഷ്ടിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു; നീ ഭൂമിയുടെ മുഖത്തെ പുതുക്കുന്നു.

30. Againe if thou send forth thy spirit, they are created, and thou renuest the face of the earth.

31. യഹോവയുടെ മഹത്വം എന്നേക്കും നിലക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ; യഹോവ തന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളില് സന്തോഷിക്കട്ടെ.

31. Glory be to the Lord for euer: let the Lord reioyce in his workes.

32. അവന് ഭൂമിയെ നോക്കുന്നു, അതു വിറെക്കുന്നു; അവന് മലകളെ തൊടുന്നു, അവ പുകയുന്നു.

32. He looketh on the earth and it trembleth: he toucheth the mountaines, and they smoke.

33. എന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലത്തൊക്കെയും ഞാന് യഹോവേക്കു പാടും; ഞാന് ഉള്ളേടത്തോളം എന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്നു കിര്ത്തനം പാടും.

33. I will sing vnto the Lord all my life: I will prayse my God, while I liue.

34. എന്റെ ധ്യാനം അവന്നു പ്രസാദകരമായിരിക്കട്ടെ; ഞാന് യഹോവയില് സന്തോഷിക്കും.

34. Let my wordes be acceptable vnto him: I will reioyce in the Lord.

35. പാപികള് ഭൂമിയില്നിന്നു മുടിഞ്ഞുപോകട്ടെ; ദുഷ്ടന്മാര് ഇല്ലാതെയാകട്ടെ; എന് മനമേ, യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക; യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിപ്പിന് .

35. Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and the wicked till there be no more: O my soule, prayse thou the Lord. Prayse ye the Lord.
