1. A Song of Ascents. I lift up my eyes to the hills. From whence does my help come?

2. ഞാന് എന്റെ കണ്ണു പര്വ്വതങ്ങളിലേക്കു ഉയര്ത്തുന്നു; എനിക്കു സഹായം എവിടെനിന്നു വരും?

2. My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.

3. എന്റെ സഹായം ആകാശത്തെയും ഭൂമിയെയും ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ യഹോവയിങ്കല്നിന്നു വരുന്നു.

3. He will not let your foot be moved, he who keeps you will not slumber.

4. നിന്റെ കാല് വഴുതുവാന് അവന് സമ്മതിക്കയില്ല; നിന്നെ കാക്കുന്നവന് മയങ്ങുകയുമില്ല.

4. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

5. യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പരിപാലകന് മയങ്ങുകയില്ല, ഉറങ്ങുകയുമില്ല.

5. The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is your shade on your right hand.

6. യഹോവ നിന്റെ പരിപാലകന് ; യഹോവ നിന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു നിനക്കു തണല്.

6. The sun shall not smite you by day, nor the moon by night.

7. പകല് സൂര്യനെങ്കിലും രാത്രി ചന്ദ്രനെങ്കിലും നിന്നെ ബാധിക്കയില്ല.

7. The LORD will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life.

8. യഹോവ ഒരു ദോഷവും തട്ടാതവണ്ണം നിന്നെ പരിപാലിക്കും. അവന് നിന്റെ പ്രാണനെ പരിപാലിക്കും.

8. The LORD will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and for evermore.
